You believe in parental rights? You’re a racist!

When all the votes were counted on Tuesday night, Glenn Youngkin stood triumphant over Clinton flack Terry McAuliffe. McAuliffe touched the third rail- he said parents should have no business knowing what their children were being taught. He said it seven times. His attitude was the same as the Loudoun county school board, which didn’t believe parents should know when their children were raped in school.

VIRGINIA PARENTS: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, if these people are willing to cover up the rape of a child to protect a political agenda, these people are willing to do ANYTHING to your children. @RealAmVoice #VirginiaElection2021

Then McAuliffe punched more holes in the campaign boat by bringing in Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The boat sank. No sooner had the boat slipped below the surface did democrats whip out their go to excuse- racism. This time it is coded as “white supremacy.” Let’s lead off with the reliable Jemele Hill

It’s not the messaging, folks. This country simply loves white supremacy.

Here’s a great collection of liberal whining from Tom Elliott

SUPERCUT!

Then there was this

Black parents, realize you are not who they are talking about when they say tonight is a win for “parents.”

— Citizen Chris (@citizenstewart) November 3, 2021

More of that garbage can be seen here

The harridans of PMSNBC were aflame

ReidOut host Joy Reid was, not surprisingly, the worst. Five minutes after polls closed, Reid peddled the lie that Youngkin ran a racist campaign to ban Toni Morrison from schools and held out hope for Democrat Terry McAuliffe on the basis of Black voters who were scared that Youngkin “would purge” books about W.E.B. DuBois and Martin Luther King Jr. from schools.

Deadline: White House host Nicolle Wallace complained that, without evidence, Youngkin “put” Donald Trump’s “disgusting, flagrant out racism” “in a disguise,” and “wrapped” his campaign “in two Big Lies” that he opposed the January 6 Capitol riot and that he would ban critical race theory.

According to Wallace, Youngkin supported January 6 because “[Youngkin] flew an insurrection flag at [his] rally” (which wasn’t true and he condemned it), and banning CRT would be “like us banning ghosts” seeing as how “there are no ghosts.”

It reminded me of November 2016 and it was fun to watch. But I think the following won the Stupid Tweet of the Campaign.

If Youngkin wins, Republicans’ takeaway will be that centering racially-coded attacks like CRT are how to drive up white turnout with or without Trump on the ballot. VA math dictates that Youngkin overperformed with nonwhites too. The return of the Atwater playbook. Pretty grim.

— Adam Jentleson 🎈 (@AJentleson) November 3, 2021

Read that again. Youngkin drove up white turnout AND nonwhite turnout as well. Nonwhites responded positively to racially coded attacks? I guess so as Youngkin won the Hispanic vote. Clearly, Jentleson has little respect for the intelligence of “nonwhites.” Speaking of nonwhites, have you met the newly elected Lieutenant Governor?

Winsome Sears, the first black woman elected to statewide office. She’s great- a Marine, pro-2A, conservative and unlike democrat ingrate colleagues who want only to destroy the US, is appreciative of this country.

“When I joined the Marine Corps, I was still a Jamaican. But this country had done so much for me, I was willing, willing, to die for this country,”

May be an image of 1 person and outdoors

And she’s not taking prisoners

Lieutenant Governor Elect Winsome Sears: “There are some who want to divide us and we must not let that happen. They would like us to believe we are back in 1963 when my father came…In case you haven’t noticed, I am black, and I have been black all my life.” pic.twitter.com/NoJJc6qxBe

— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) November 3, 2021

Brent Scher asks

Shouldn’t media be all over a black woman who immigrated from Jamaica, served in the Marines, has a Masters degree, ran a homeless women’s shelter, raised 3 kids, and is now running to be the highest ranking minority woman gov’t official in Virginia history?

Ya think? Then Mehdi Hasan, another PMSNBC jackwagon, took a shot at Sears’ integrity

The argument that white supremacy & racial resentment couldn’t have helped power Youngkin to victory in VA because the Republicans elected a black lieutenant governor – Winsome Sears – is as convincing as saying Trump isn’t a racist because he made Ben Carson his HUD secretary.

— Mehdi Hasan (@mehdirhasan) November 3, 2021

Except that 1.6 million Virginians voted for her. She wasn’t appointed. Speaking on nonwhites, have you met the new Attorney General? He’s the first ever Latino elected AG in Virginia.

See the source image

Elected, not selected.

The argument that this election depended on race is pure idiocy and it deflects from reality. Several days ago I saw Geraldo Rivera opine that this election wouldn’t hinge on parental issues but instead would be about policing and I laughed out loud. I was surprised at how far out of touch he was. This was ALL about parents, their kids and what kids are being taught. It galvanized parents of all colors against the authoritarian democrat party and their bloody arrogance. Juan Williams asserted that “parents’ rights” was code for white supremacists.

I hope democrats keep that one going. Then Obama jack Stephanie Cutter said something really interesting:

“The one thing that we need to make sure of is that Republicans in 2022 don’t become is the party of parents”

Former Obama campaign manager Stephanie Cutter (@StefCutter), addressing last night’s election results: “The one thing that we need to make sure of is that Republicans in 2022 don’t become is the party of parents” pic.twitter.com/7nkxADC2KG

— Tom Elliott (@tomselliott) November 3, 2021

This election has made crystal clear the contempt the DNC has for parents. They view themselves as the sole arbiters of what children should be taught and yes, CRT is being taught in VA. This episode has also made very clear the mendacious nature of the democrat party both in Virginia and nationwide. Democrats have done so much racism gaslighting that Biden is forced to his knees begging Russia and OPEC to increase supply.

It was also fun watching the Pedo Project getting its teeth kicked for their stupid stunts.

Lastly, we go to Kamala Harris. I don’t find her particularly intelligent but every now and then she blurts out something true and this was quite ironic:

“What happens in Virginia will, in large part, determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on.”

Here’s hoping!

UPDATE

Almost forgot. MSNBC and CNN have done nothing but scream racism since the VA election but neither aired Winsome Sears’ victory speech. Anyone wonder why?

So, let’s get this straight… CRT doesn’t exist, but it is racist to oppose it? While it’s entertaining to see Democrats throw such fits, it is also alarming. Democrats are growing more desperate and desperate Democrats are very, very dangerous and a threat to the nation.

Though Democrats keep trying to convince us their $5+ trillion “Destroy All Completely” legislation is wildly popular with the American people, nothing could be further from the truth. How could it be popular when no one knows what the hell is in it? “Tree Equity”? That’s worth $30 billion? Have birches been complaining that oaks get all the opportunities and jobs? No, this is nothing but getting as much taxpayer money flowing in the pipeline (and available to steal) as possible before Democrats lose their control of spending… again.

If infrastructure (even the Democrat version of it) is so important, why did Pelosi hold it hostage for the $3.5 trillion of PURE WASTE she allows her far, far left socialist minority wants to get access to? She did the exact same thing with desperately needed COVID aid. Democrats see their power and influence (through Constitutional means, anyway) waning and they are desperately trying to get as much irreversible damage to the nation in place before they leave. This provides them the future opportunity to blame Republicans of the ongoing and lasting damage inflicted by their policies.

Now, I don’t know how to make it clear to these race-baiting leftists, but I can vouch for the fact that as far back as the 1960’s, the history of slavery and racism was taught in school. What wasn’t taught was the fact that slavery existed was proof that every white person on the planet is a racist, slavery-supporting oppressor that requires punishment. We didn’t study each and every injustice committed against blacks during and after slavery, only that it happened and it was common. It wasn’t even specifically taught that it was DEMOCRATS that supported all the evils attributed to all white people today and REPUBLICANS that ended it… but apparently it should have been. What was taught was slavery existed as an institution and it was ended; that even after it was ended, the struggle for equality continued and, to a certain extent, goes on even today (then and now).

The history of slavery, racism and inequality has been taught. It SHOULD be taught. But the indoctrination of instilling racism, inequality and retribution into the minds of children as young as 5 has no place in our educational system. THIS is what Democrats object to and Republicans support.

Why have you never seen a single actual example of Critical Race Theory’s supposed public school indoctrination?

Because Critical Race Theory indoctrination is another of the right’s hallucinations, used to manipulate voters.

Critical Race Theory is a topic of academicians, discussed and debated by historians and professors at the POST-SECONDARY SCHOOL level.

The history of our nation includes a hell of a lot of ACTUAL racism that WAS behind official government policy and WAS incorporated into law for well over 100 years. Is THAT what you’re wanting to erase from the history books? Because erasing such truths WOULD BE indoctrination.

    • DrJohn on November 4, 2021 at 11:49 am

In 2015, then-Governor McAuliffe’s Department of Education instructed Virginia public schools to “embrace critical race theory” in order to “re-engineer attitudes and belief systems.” They explicitly endorse CRT—he can’t wiggle out of this one with word games.

Well, he watches CNN and MSNBC where they claim it doesn’t exist but opposing it is racist. Sounds like they’re lying, doesn’t it? But for Greg, lies are very appealing because it sounds good.

    • Greg on November 4, 2021 at 12:00 pm

Uh huh. That was 6 years ago. Where, exactly, was this reflected in ANY text books or in ANY classroom curriculum?

Opining that critical race theory is “an important analytic tool” IS NOT an instruction to indoctrinate.

Who is Christopher Rufo, who is telling you all of this? He’s a writer who wants his Twitter audience to pledge $5 or $10 a month to further the good work.

Which then are used to teach white children that they’re evil and black children that they are nothing but victims

    • Greg on November 4, 2021 at 1:29 pm

Teachers read a lot of recommended texts and material. That doesn’t mean they’re indoctrinated. It means they’re exposed to and consider a wide variety of ideas related to education and their profession. It means they’re INFORMED.

Are you afraid of ideas? Many of Trump’s base seem to be. There are people who want certain books pulled from school and public libraries because they’re afraid of the ideas that are in them.

    • Nathan Blue on November 5, 2021 at 8:59 am

Coming from the side who is censoring ideas that threaten their power and indoctrinated base, that’s rich.

You’re afraid of ideas. That’s why you post here.

You can’t remove Christian ideas and authors, or all those evil “white” men like Shakespeare and then keep a girl pretending to be a boy getting their fake rubber penis getting sucked off in the library.

That’s not an idea. That’s demonic warfare, bub.

    • DrJohn on November 4, 2021 at 12:48 pm

      But let me repeat:

Right now, on its website, the Virginia Department of Education recommends “Critical Race Theory in Education” as a “best practice” and derives its definitions of “racism,” “white supremacy,” and “education equity” explicitly from “critical race theory.”

    • Greg on November 4, 2021 at 1:35 pm

Racism has been systemic through much of our nation’s history. Refusal to recognize the dark side of our nation’s history simply makes it more likely that we’ll repeated it. We captured and enslaved people, justifying it with racist theory and even the Bible. We engaged in genocide against the native population. These are ugly facts. Another ugly fact is that racism is very much alive in America. Bigotry in all forms is very much alive.

Some parents don’t want their children to know about that. They want to sanitize the past, and pretend that all is fine in the present.

    • DrJohn on November 4, 2021 at 2:07 pm

      Greg

      African blacks owned black slaves
      American blacks owned black slaves
      Native Americans owned black slaves

Want to bet that’s not part of CRT?

You can’t hammer children for the sins of their ancestors no matter what color they are. All you can do is teach that it happened and express the hope it never happens again.

    • Deplorable Me on November 4, 2021 at 3:49 pm

What do you bet they don’t teach that black Africans captured and sold slaves, that Muslims were the drivers of the slave trade, that Democrats were the supporters and defenders of slavery, that Democrats created and implemented the Jim Crow laws, that Democrats maintained institutionalized racism and REPUBLICANS put an end to it.

      The Bible?

White Christian Men ended slavery, while the rest of the world kept it, and deserve credit for applying their Faith to help make this the greatest, most free, LEAST RACIST nation on Earth.

    • Deplorable Me on November 4, 2021 at 3:46 pm

“The recommended books on the website are for teachers, NOT for students.”

If you are trying to convince us you are stupid, your job is completed. You DO know what teachers do and what the relationship between teachers and students is… right?

“Teachers read a lot of recommended texts and material. That doesn’t mean they’re indoctrinated. It means they’re exposed to and consider a wide variety of ideas related to education and their profession. It means they’re INFORMED.”

This trash is sick. It is demented. It is racial pornography. If a teacher is studying it, they should be fired, just as a teacher with child pornography on their computer would be. It is divisive and destructive, it promotes racism and hatred. It has NO place in schools and very limited practical use (only to study to understand how the sick, racist, hateful mind works) in institutions of higher learning. Defending it only exposes the racism of the defender.

“Why have you never seen a single actual example of Critical Race Theory’s supposed public school indoctrination?” Why have I not seen it? Well, first, because my children are grown. Second, I live in Texas where that garbage has already been banned. However, we have seen parents reporting THEY have seen it and that their children have come home wondering why their skin color makes them oppressive, racist scumbags.

However, as regards Virginia, it is pushed by the Department of Education.

Despite McAuliffe lying about it, CRT HAS been taught in Virginia schools
      https://www.foxnews.com/politics/virginia-dept-of-education-website-promotes-crt-despite-mcauliffe-claims-its-never-been-taught-there

Some of the activist parents have provided books from the library that promotes this degenerate curriculum, as well as sexually explicit topics. The left is trying to destroy our society and the family and replace it with socialistic dogma.

    • Mully on November 5, 2021 at 4:43 am

Yes we know. Democrats are part and parcel of historic racism. We still see it today as the Democrat media complex ignore the win by Republicans in Virginia who are not white. The same media that ignored Joe Biden’s racist comments through the years.
As for CRT in Virginia, you don’t know what you don’t know. Sometimes it’s better to shut up but you seem to never understand that.

Each of us is created equal, and students should be learning that in the classroom.

Unfortunately for democrats, America and Americans by and large are not racists. The racism resides where it has always been, within the democrat party. One only need reference slavery and the KKK. Both products of the democrat party. As recent as their 1924 party platform, they still supported lynching.

what the libs do not understand is that they garnered their education and fortune, many of them, employing capitalistic measures. The hypocrisy is that they attained their positions in society my exploiting the color of their skin. Semantics?

As I read the review, it remined me of the seminal work, “Through the Looking Glass” in which Alice has an exchange with Humpty Dumpty about semantics, identity, and power.

“I don’t know what you mean by ‘glory’,” Alice said.

Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. “Of course you don’t—till I tell you. I meant ‘there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!’ ”

“But ‘glory’ doesn’t mean “a nice knock-down argument,’” Alice objected.

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master—that’s all.”

I wonder what Humpty Dumpty’s pronouns are?

    Recognize the correlation?
