This is justice?

Today Kim Potter, the Brooklyn Center MN police officer who accidently shot Daunte Wright, was arrested and will be charged with manslaughter.

The white officer who shot and killed a young Black man Sunday has been arrested and charged with manslaughter, Washington County Attorney Pete Orput confirmed Wednesday.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said its agents took former Brooklyn Center officer Kim Potter into custody at about 11:30 a.m. She was booked into the Hennepin County Jail shortly after noon, before posting bail Wednesday evening. Her first court appearance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Note the importance of identifying her race.

Also today the Biden DOJ announced it will not be bringing any charges against then Capitol cop who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) will not pursue charges against the U.S. Capitol Police officer who allegedly shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the Jan. 6 riot in Washington, D.C., officials announced Wednesday.

An investigation conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia determined “that there is insufficient evidence to support a criminal prosecution,” the department said in a statement.

The killing of Babbitt was not a mistake. It was an intentional act of murder. It was unnecessary. There was a SWAT team immediately behind her who did not find her a danger. The identity and race of the Capitol cop was not made public. Why not?

The 13 and 15 year old girls who killed Mohammed Anwar were charged with felony murder. Nine days ago it was announced that a plea deal was reached and the girls would not be placed in a prison facility.

Two girls, ages 13 and 15, who were charged with the murder and carjacking of a Pakistani immigrant killed last month while working at his job delivering food in Washington, DC, have reportedly reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Mohammad Anwar, 66, died when police said the girls, armed with a taser, sped off in his car as he clung to the driver’s side with the door open and crashed seconds later just outside the ballpark of the Washington Nationals.

On Monday, the teens reportedly reached the plea deal with prosecutors that would ensure they will not be held past the age of 21 nor be placed in a prison facility.

Anwar was killed when these girls hijacked his car and his death was gruesome.

The teen suddenly accelerates, sending the car speeding down the 1200 block of Van Street SE with Anwar still clinging on to the driver side’s door. At one point, the car is seen smashing into a metal fence from its left side, crushing the delivery driver between the barrier and car door.

As the car continues to speed off into the distance, a screeching sound is heard followed by a loud crash. The bystander filming the incident runs over to the site of the crash to find the car rolled over and the two girls climbing out of the wreckage.

As Anwar’s broken body lay on the sidewalk, the two girls climbed out of the car and cared not at all for Anwar. Their only concern was recovering their cell phones which remained in the stolen crashed car. This is utterly depraved.

Notice that their names and race went unmentioned.

This uneven application of the law and concomitant uneven publicity is pathetic. Welcome to Joe Biden’s America.

I guess that the difference is Minnesota and Washington D.C. ?!
It certainly couldn’t have been that one is White and the others are not.

The difference is that you like the idiots who overran the Capitol, dragged, beat, and bear-sprayed Capitol police officers, threatened to hang elected officials, and attempted to break through a door and barricade to get to members of Congress, but dislike a minority community that’s upset about repeated inappropriate deaths at the hands of individuals who probably shouldn’t have been wearing police uniforms to begin with. After a while, all of those killings sort of blend together into a single issue.

Except no officers were dragged or beaten. No one was threatened with hanging. So, the difference is YOU have to lie to have a grievance while we have legitimate complaints.

But the left wing BLM/ANTIFA riots, looting and terrorism is real and ongoing. Even tonight. EVERY night.

command gregg-poo: where did you study your marxism? your post is pure garbage and represent a pack of socialistic lies. suggest you stop watching clown news, reading the slime and listing to the marxist run media. you really need to do research on a subject before you post crap like this.

No insurrection at the Capitol. Only a false flag.

Police being attacked by Democrat voters for the past year, hundreds of hours of video.

Leftwing Violence, yes. Rightwing? Not so much.

The “defund the police” movement will continue to make good cops get out, and “I just needed a job” people come in.

You don’t get to criticize a cop. You aren’t one. Go try, then you can talk.

Also…resisting arrest, no sympathy.

There is no “single” issue other than Democrats enslavement of blacks by standing on their corpses and blaming everyone else.

The Law applies to everyone the same, rich, and POOR. You don’t get to break the law because you are black. That would be racist.

“No insurrection at the Capitol. Only a false flag.”

Anyone who actually believes that is delusional. It was exactly what it appeared to be, and the people involved were exactly who they appeared to be, and have professed themselves to be. To carry the loose screws related to that crowd, you’d need buckets.

The “leaders” who encourage such craziness because it serves their political ends to do so are anything but patriots. Jim Jordan is precisely the sort of moronic, self-seeking jackass I’m referring to. The exchange between Dr. Fauci and Jordan earlier today was like a showdown between reason and assertive, infantile stupidity:

Yep, exactly what it appeared to be; a group of people that were protesting were allowed to easily enter the Capital and, aside from some BLM thugs trying to incite violence, people milled around and took pictures. Oh, and a cop lost his head and shot a woman, for which he suffers NO penalty.

No weapons, no injuries caused by the rioters, no insurrection. Democrat propaganda.

Yeah, Comrade Greggie, we should just readily accept everything you say because…………….

Just like you demanded that we believe that the Russians had put “bounties” on the heads of American soldiers and that traitor, Donald Trump, refused to take that Russian action seriously because Trump was a handmaiden to Putin. Remember these reports?

Except, ooops: it was all bullshit, just like all the other bullshit you pimp here day after day. Now, most humans would be too embarrassed after being exposed for being wrong, time after time, like you have been, but your dedication to the Commucrats is greater than your self respect.

You’re an idiot and apparently, your idiocy is terminal.

BTW, no one ever elected Fau-xi, although he has been allowed to show boat for way too long. He needs to go. He has used up his shelf live long ago. Maybe he can get a job in Wuhan. That’s where his loyalties lie, after all.

Jim Jordan is also funny when he’s angry.

Glad you enjoy it. You’ll probably be seeing a lot more of it, and others as well. It may come as a surprise, but there are a lot of people that get pissed when someone tries to destroy the country they love. Your party is completely consumed by liars.

The left, which is also the media, has a vested interest in ramping up racial strife, inciting violence and seeing people get killed. This is so the left can react with laws that suppress individual liberties, rights and freedoms. The left wants to eradicate the local police and replace it with a federally controlled police force.

Arrests of anyone even tangentially connected with the January 6 riot is still national headlines, but riots in Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center are ignored or, if unable to be totally hidden, dubbed “peaceful protests”.

Cops screw up and make mistakes, only their mistakes are usually tragic mistakes. They are only human. However, there are penalties for those mistakes. Sad but true. However, the same standard should apply to Chauvin, Potter and whomever shot Babbitt.

The left merely shows us that, when it comes to their agenda, some lives and deaths are just meaningless to them.

And what about all those Rioters,Looters and Arsonists laying waste to our cities? they should all be rounded up and sent t prison or banished to the Amazon Jungle for life and even longer

Ashli Babbitt’s murder was intentional.
Her murderer was being egged on by two radical incitors, one a Utah blm organizer. After the black officer shot her the pair of Leftists could be heard on their own video gleefully shouting, “We got one!”
The officer took careful aim even tho he was further away from Ashli than many other officers (who were actually in his line of fire) before he pulled the trigger.

But he wasn’t named and wasn’t charged.

OTOH, Kim Potter, accidentally shot Daunte Wright.
On one or more of the police’s body cams you could hear her voice yelling “taser, taser!”
When Wright still tried to flee she was not the only one to fire, but she was the only one who accidentally drew her gun instead of her taser. Once she fired, she spontaneously exclaimed, “S#!t! I shot him!”
She’s being charged with manslaughter by the DA.
The lowest form of manslaughter is involuntary manslaughter. This means that the perpetrator didn’t intend to kill anyone, but still killed the victim through behavior that was either criminally negligent or reckless.
Voluntary manslaughter indicates she acted in some “heat of passion,” so intended to kill, but didn’t plan it ahead of time. That would be an overcharge.

On the face of it, Officer Potter’s declaration – a “res gestae” if ever there was one – would appear to indicate SOME level of negligence. Whether it rises to the level of CRIMINAL negligence under Minnesota law is up to the prosecution to prove (and the jury to.decide) beyond reasonable doubt. As one who has sat on a (civil) jury where negligence was essentially the sole decider between the plaintiffs.and the defendant, I can say that things regarding negligence can get “interesting”. Most of us on the jury wanted to fknd for the defendant. It was only in reviewing the Judge’s jnstructions regarding the definition of “negligence” that the seven of us who wanted to find for the defendant agreed with the others. A great deal of the jury’s ultimate decision, I suspect, will depe d upon the Judge in the case’s instructions. AND upon the members of the jury’s (entirely appropriate IMO) fears of being outed, doxed and their lives and families’ lives being tnreatened. As in the Chauvin case, one can reasonably expect “mostly peaceful demonstrations” to erupt irrespective of the jury’s verdict.

WAS OJ justice? Question specifically addressed to Curt.

‘Accidentally shot’ is literally the definition of manslaughter.
I can’t really find much sympathy for her.

Sympathy or excusing the shooting isn’t the point. Fighting the obligatory (from the left) accusation of racism is.
