Joe Biden: “I was born a poor black child”

Loading

Today at 9:52 am the lid was put on Joe Biden. He’s not up to being a Presidential candidate once again today. Biden has spent almost half of September in the basement.

But that hasn’t stopped old Joe from making some fascinating claims. You see, Joe was born a poor black child:

Biden had made the claim during an October 2019 town hall event held at the historic Wilson High School in Florence, which was founded in 1866 by the Freedmen’s Bureau for Black children seeking an education.

“I got started out of an HBCU, Delaware State — now, I don’t want to hear anything negative about Delaware State,” Biden told the crowd, as shown on video. “They’re my folks.”

Naturally, that wasn’t true

The director of news service for Delaware State, Carlos Holmes, said that the former vice president was never a student, though he has made appearances on campus twice before for commencement speeches at the university in Dover.

“Vice President Biden did not attend DSU,” Holmes said earlier last week. “However he was the Commencement keynote speaker in 2003 and [2016], and during the former he was awarded an honorary doctoral degree.”

That’s not the only problem Joe had. He had a brain freeze the other day in an interview and PMSNBC hack Stephanie Ruhle had to bail him out.

Then this Biden assertion got hammered.

But perhaps we can understand all this, as Biden claims he’s been in the Senate for 180 years.

We finally learned from the NY Times that Donald Trump is in full compliance with his taxes. As for loopholes, Trump is not the only one to use them:

The establishment media is all aflutter Monday after a New York Times story over the weekend about incumbent GOP President Donald Trump’s tax records, but it turns out Democrat candidate former Vice President Joe Biden used a series of tax code loopholes to avoid paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes over the years.

Back in August, the Wall Street Journal’s Chris Jacobs exposed how the Biden family structured what is called an “S-Corp” to avoid paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes.

“How the Bidens Dodged the Payroll Tax,” was Jacobs’ headline on Aug. 10.

In it, the Journal details how the Bidens set up an S-Corporation to avoid paying more than half a million dollars in taxes they would have otherwise owed.

“Joe Biden responded to President Trump’s partial suspension of payroll-tax collections with a statement calling it the ‘first shot in a new, reckless war on Social Security,’” Jacobs wrote. He continued: “‘Our seniors and millions of Americans with disabilities are under enough stress without Trump putting their hard-earned Social Security benefits in doubt.’ Mr. Biden’s objections might be more persuasive had he and his wife, Jill, not gone out of their way to avoid funding seniors’ entitlement benefits. According to their tax returns, in 2017 and 2018 the Bidens and his wife Jill avoided payroll taxes on nearly $13.3 million in income from book royalties and speaking fees. They did so by classifying the income as S-corporation profits rather than taxable wages.”

Remember how democrats claimed Trump was in hock to Russian oligarchs? That was entirely false. Hunter Biden, though, has taken $3.5 million more from the Russians than has Trump.

The first Trump-Biden debate is scheduled for tomorrow. May of us wonder whether it will even take place. Donald Trump insists that Biden take a drug test either before or after the debate, but Jill Biden say he will not.

Maybe she will do the debating.

Oh the fond memories of the frat boy Joe Biden has of hazing Corn Pop at the Beta Theta Pi house.

This debate isnt over not by a long shot for Biden …Was it over when according to project 1619 the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Light and funny, until you realize it’s about a presidential candidate. lol!

@kitt:

ever been in a food fight?? they are fun and the mess is huge. “S-Corp” tax platform in an LLC corporation is a great tax shelter.. abused by many corporations in this country. 30+ hours until the debate. the ?? is when is he going to Cx the debate. Mike’s debate with kamaslut should be interesting. Pence is very reserved, can only imagine kamaslut screaming and ranting so out of control.
paedophile joey is sooo loaded with drugs to keep him propped up. Baron could easily fill in for his father be still the odds would be in his favor

sleepy joe has no business being elected to any office is his current health condition. And douchebag greg says biden is on his way to the WH. greg is a complete dumbass.

And sleepy joe will not submit to a drug test. Interesting, so much shit in his system. I am beginning to have doubts as to when or not there will be a debate. If he 86es tha, the election is over. Goodbye sleepy joe.

Joe Biden would never have won the South Carolina (and on to the rest of the South) primary had it not been for a lie by black James Clyburn who falsely claimed black civil rights orgs all backed Biden.
Except it was not true.
He shouldn’t have even spoken for the Congressional Black Caucus as if it backed Biden.
At the time there was at least one black Republican in that org and she did NOT support Biden!
But lying comes easy to people who assume their supporters are stupid.
No wonder Biden so easily falls into lying.

@MOS#8541: Yes, if you include over ripe tomato wars in the family garden, the only fun part during canning season was splatting big sis with a huge slug ridden softie. Indoors never.

I can certainly understand why the YouTube poster of the video clip turned the comments section off. Somebody would otherwise point out to the rubes what should be obvious.

“I got started out of an HBCU, Delaware State. Now I don’t want to hear anything about Delaware State here, OK?” *laughter* “They’re my folks. But all kidding aside, the fact is that HBCUs are in trouble financially.”

Everybody in the audience was aware that Delaware State is an historically black college. The speech was given at Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina, where the student body is 64.8 percent black.

They were laughing because South Carolina black college bound students would likely compete with Delaware State in sports, etc.
It wasn’t like Joe was telling them a joke by saying he went there.
He’s told that lie before a few times.

Yeah, it was exactly like Biden was telling them a joke. He even acknowledged he was kidding, should anyone have missed it.

@Greg: now now, if we’re going to take everything Trump says literally and out of context, then we get to do that to Biden too.

You wouldn’t want to have a double standard between Democrat and Republican now would you?

Marxism doesn’t work, and will not be tolerated in the United States of America.

@Greg: Was he also kidding when he said he could stay in his basement because a black woman could stock shelves? Or that he was going to keep a billion in aid unless some prosecutor in Ukraine was fired for investigating his kids corrupt employer? Blacks are not black unless the vote for him? Reallocate AKA defund the police funding? He is a funny guy he should forget the oval office and do stand up in Vegas.

@Nathan Blue:

Now, now. You know that Comrade Greggie has to do his job of trying to convince you that what you heard Bargain Basement Joe say was not really what you heard him say.

sleepy joe is going to be crushed by President Trump tomorrow night. That is if he does not put a lid on tomorrow by 9am.

@Greg: Biden IS a joke. However, he LIES. He lies like Hillary lies, at the drop of a hat, for no apparent reason or purpose.

@kitt: Was he kidding when he said he would ban fracking or when he said he wouldn’t ban fracking? Was he kidding when he said he supported defunding the police or when he said he doesn’t support defunding the police?

@July 4th American: You can almost hear Joe Wednesday morning; “That was THIS Tuesday? Cmon, man!”

@Deplorable Me: Biden being prepped for the Debate

@Deplorable Me:

We’ll see who the joke is after tomorrow night’s debate. Biden has been taking those top secret performance enhancing brain drugs, you know.

I wonder if Trump’s $750 in federal taxes for both 2016 and 2017, and none paid at all during 10 of the 15 preceding years will come up? It’s no surprise he broke his promise to release his tax returns. We might be looking at a quarter-of-a-million U.S. COVID-19 fatalities by election day. Will that be a topic of discussion?

@kitt: I don’t think Biden has picked it up yet.

@Greg: Yeah, you keep believing that NYT bullshit. See what that gets you. How about Biden’s $500,000 in taxes he skirted? Does that have you hating him yet? Most of the COVID deaths are at the hands of Democrats. Trump provided them with the means to prevent them. They sided with the Chinese to kill Americans, expecting to be able to simply blame Trump. They know they can rely on their ignorant followers to believe them.

@Greg: Biden also used a tax loop holes to avoid taxes yes he did the difference is Trump didnt write or vote on the tax codes that are available to all tax payers. https://fairtax.org/articles/joe-biden-is-a-tax-loophole-hypocrite
Maybe a reform of the tax code is called for, oh the NYT article clearly states that Trumps taxes are still under audit , Trump said when they were not he would release them, I really hope he doesnt, just because it seems to mean so much to your quality of life.

@Deplorable Me:

And Trump doesn’t lie?

You see, that is why I left the GOP in 2012; Hypocrites. Trump lies, GOP says nothing. Biden lies; GOP loses their shit.

Intellectual dishonesty at its best. .

I knew it smelled in here. Joachim is our old friend Ivan from long ago.

2012 Election Open Thread

How about Biden’s $500,000 in taxes he skirted? Does that have you hating him yet?

No, because incorporation is an entirely normal and perfectly legal tax strategy. Most taxpaying individuals who have relatively high income generated from personal activities such as public speaking engagements, writing, etc do exactly the same thing. There’s no similarity whatsoever between Biden’s incorporation for tax purposes and what Donald Trump has done.

It’s the difference between a sound tax strategy and tax evasion. It’s why Biden has never had to hide is tax forms, but Trump does.

@Greg: So nothing illegal in Trumps taxes. NO reference to Russia or Cohen. You must be crestfallen. You lose again. It looks like Trump has a good accounting firm. They are using the laws Ole Joe and Obama left them to use.
Now about that 750. Have a peek at this link.

No, Trump Didn’t Pay Only $750 For Federal Taxes In 2016 And 2017

@Joachim:

And Trump doesn’t lie?

Well, I tell ya, AJ… once you answer my questions, you can get some answers from me.

@Greg:

It’s the difference between a sound tax strategy and tax evasion. It’s why Biden has never had to hide is tax forms, but Trump does.

No, Biden doesn’t hide his because Republicans don’t weaponize it. Trump, as we clearly see, has to worry about even legal, typical losses and deductions get turned into tax crimes by Democrats… LIES.

Biden wasn’t a corporation; he was a cheat.

@Mully: Well… waddaya know. NYT caught lying AGAIN.

@Greg:

Careful there, little dog. We’ll have to start looking at Biden’s taxes, Bernie’s, the Clintons, Obama’s, Bloombergs, etc.

You won’t like the result.

This relies on the ignorance of the average leftwinger, when it comes to how taxes work. The implication is that Trump did something wrong…without actually accusing him of anything.

You marxist losers might want to get some education on is the business concept of “leverage”.

@Nathan Blue, #23:

Careful there, little dog. We’ll have to start looking at Biden’s taxes, Bernie’s, the Clintons, Obama’s, Bloombergs, etc.

Do you think the GOP hasn’t? There were 8 to 10 years of tax returns made public on all of them but Bloomberg, who hasn’t held public office since 2013. His were released during the time he was mayor.

You’re not even curious how Trump got multi-million dollar loans from Deutsche Bank when nobody else would lend the guy a dollar for a cup of coffee, and he’d already defaulted on a previous loan from them. No problem with Deutsche Bank having been fined for $630 million for laundering $10 billion in dirty Russian money, $150 million for illegal financial dealings with Jeffrey Epstein, $258 million for violating international sanctions against Iran, Syria, Libya, and Sudan, or $72 BILLION for knowingly selling investors toxic securities that helped bring about the 2007-2008 financial crisis. No problem that he routinely inflated the stated value of his holdings to get loans, while deflating them for real estate tax purposes.

The guy is a crook.

@Greg: No I have no problem with the loans or where he got them from. All happened before he was President.
What does concern me is the Clintons close association with people who brand women and traffic children. The old pay for play while she was secretary of state and the wanton destruction of government documents held in a secret non-government server, destroying phones, paying ex spies to collaborate with Russian spies getting disinformation then using it to lie to the FISA court so they could spy on the competition, but hey thats just me.

@Greg:

No problem that he routinely inflated the stated value of his holdings to get loans, while deflating them for real estate tax purposes.

You know, Comrade Greggie, that one statement alone shows that you don’t know jack sh!t about how commercial loans are made. It is clear you have never owned a business or even ran one. You don’t just walk into a bank and say “I want to borrow X on this property valued at Y.” and the bank takes your word for what you say the collateral is worth. Again, it doesn’t work that way. Hell, I doubt you’ve ever even had a checking account, at least in the U.S.

The guy is a crook.

I thought you liked crooks. Didn’t you vote for Obama/Biden and the leader of the Clinton Crime Family?

@Greg: Well, the only thing the (most likely) illegal release of Trump’s taxes records reveal is that…gasp…Trump paid his taxes as the IRS demanded and he met his commitment.

You know these little “bombshells” cost the Democrats votes, every time?

You’re not even curious how Trump got multi-million dollar loans from Deutsche Bank when nobody else would lend the guy a dollar for a cup of coffee, and he’d already defaulted on a previous loan from them.

Uh, considering he’s been getting those since he started in real-estate, no.

Your invocation of Deutsche Bank’s crooked clients is a logical fallacy, as you forgot to list the Trillions in deals they’ve done with the vast majority of their clients who have NO dirt on them.

This isn’t the silver bullet you’re hoping for, Zhang. Keep flailing, though. Just be proud that your People will be farming in the 21st Century in quality John Deer equipment.

@retire05: greg gets fed the talking points from whoever.

They are so desperate, so unhinged that they think seeding the hoax that Trump isn’t a “real” Billionaire will cost him the election.

His resume now includes four years of being a great President.

It’s actually sad to watch the Dem/Leftists choking on their on lies.

@Nathan Blue: Distraction of Bidens long and recorded history of telling whoppers equivocate, fib, palter, and prevaricate. Bidens Covid plan another plagiarism simply what Trump has already done as is Bidens buy American, yo Plugs On April 18, 2017, President Trump signed the Buy American and Hire American Executive Order, Creepy Joe just skips the Hire American part. Sorry you were left on BLM s doorstep by Obama sad to tell you, you will always be that color.

The USA is under a massive cyber attack 911 systems all over the country are down, 7 States so far, United Heath Systems is under a ransomware attack, If you can believe microsoft they say its Russia, my bet is on China or Iran. Lock and load get your non emergency numbers to the police dept.
Was anyone elses internet running slow tonight?

@kitt, #26:

No I have no problem with the loans or where he got them from. All happened before he was President.

It wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if he had paid them back. That he hasn’t paid them back, and has apparently been losing hundreds of millions of dollars per year if what he has reported to the IRS is true, makes it an entirely different matter. What it means is that some party or parties unknown could have enormous financial leverage over the President of the United States—the sort of situation that gives national security experts nightmares.

It isn’t like this is stuff has been cooked up for an election. Multiple red flags and flashing warning lights have been in plain sight from the start. People who should be on the side of our nation’s guardians don’t simply refuse to believe; they actively resist all efforts to find out, and attack anyone who makes the effort. The attacks have been against investigative journalists, our own intelligence community, the FBI, and congressional investigative committees. We’ve got a President who has seemingly given greater credibility to the statements of long-time foreign adversaries than any of the foregoing. I have trouble making sense out of a situation where the most obvious possibilities are the most vigorously resisted, but all manner of bizarre conspiracy theories are readily accepted.

@Greg: What proof do you have he isnt making his payments? He took a massive loss and spread out the loss over years of tax then got a refund did you read the article at all? Or just spouting bits and bullshit from the Wretched Madcow opinion side show circus?
Excuse me I am trying to follow the cyber attacks there are now 4 major shipping companies under cyber attack as well. Some of the 911 systems have recovered.
Facebook was shut down in the Philippines.
Joe is a lying dogfaced pony groper.

@Greg:

August Wall Street Journal:
Joe and Jill Biden made nearly $13.3 million from speaking fees and book royalties
for 2017-2018 tax years they funneled income through two S-corporations they set up in Delaware
the S-corporations allowed them to avoid paying Social Security and Medicare taxes,
The two claimed just $750,000 in income.

How did they generate $12.5 million in expenses on $13.3 million in income?

@Greg:

It is more than obvious your hate yourself more than life. Might I suggest you consider a “Frankie Five Angels” from Godfather Part II. That might be the only way for you to end the progressive disease of TDS that is in your case is terminal.

It wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if he had paid them back. That he hasn’t paid them back

Total bullshit statement with zero evidence.

and has apparently been losing hundreds of millions of dollars per year if what he has reported to the IRS is true, makes it an entirely different matter.

How so?

What it means is that some party or parties unknown could have enormous financial leverage over the President of the United States—the sort of situation that gives national security experts nightmares.

Unsubstantiated speculation the makes you look like the kook you are…

It isn’t like this is stuff has been cooked up for an election.

Stuff? rather vague..

Multiple red flags and flashing warning lights have been in plain sight from the start.

More of the shit from your dog you have been eating for dinner. BTW, they eat dogs in China, right? What is your favorite breed?

People who should be on the side of our nation’s guardians don’t simply refuse to believe; they actively resist all efforts to find out, and attack anyone who makes the effort.

More salad speak

The attacks have been against investigative journalists, our own intelligence community, the FBI, and congressional investigative committees. We’ve got a President who has seemingly given greater credibility to the statements of long-time foreign adversaries than any of the foregoing.

Attack against investigative journalists? stephanufalgus, tapper, stelter, coumo , lemon. manderson pooper, really?

I have trouble making sense out of a situation where the most obvious possibilities are the most vigorously resisted, but all manner of bizarre conspiracy theories are readily accepted.

Mumbo jumbo, you have many troubles, the most obvious is your inability to coherently convey your thought, if there is one..

@Curt: So, “Joachim/Ivan” ISN’T the long-time Republican that Trump has turned against the party? I am shocked… SHOCKED, I tell you.

@Greg:

The guy is a crook.

Really? Gosh. But, he has been audited every year and has been under surveillance and investigation for 5 years; so where is the indictment? Are you sure you’re not just a whiny crybaby sore loser that can’t accept facts? Sure looks like it.

That he hasn’t paid them back, and has apparently been losing hundreds of millions of dollars per year if what he has reported to the IRS is true, makes it an entirely different matter.

You mean if what the NYT reports, with no data, no documentation, no sources, is true. Historically, it is NOT true; NYT will print ANYTHING as long as it is bad for Trump.

It isn’t like this is stuff has been cooked up for an election.

No, actually it is a LOT like that… EXACTLY like that. It IS that.

The attacks have been against investigative journalists, our own intelligence community, the FBI, and congressional investigative committees.

You mean the “investigative journalists” that cooked up lies about Russian collusion, Trump Jr. having DNC emails before they were released, bank records being released, Trump saying Nazis were fine people, Trump saying veterans were losers, etc, etc, etc? The IC (under Brennan) that hid the evidence that Russia was helping Hillary and undercutting Trump and, despite having evidence to the contrary, went on national television numerous times and called Trump a treacherous Russian asset? The FBI that withheld exculpatory evidence from FISA courts, altered evidence, lied to judges and juries and persecuted an innocent man? The Congressional Committees under scum like Schiff that had testimony that cleared Trump but kept it classified and suppressed? Well, maybe they have earned the attacks.

@kitt:

Creepy Joe just skips the Hire American part

Well, he does believe an illegal immigrant becomes a US citizen as soon as they cross the border and supports hiring THEM.

@Greg:

It isn’t like this is stuff has been cooked up for an election.

Quite the Freudian Slip, Zhang.

@July 4th American, #35:

It wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if he had paid them back. That he hasn’t paid them back

Total bullshit statement with zero evidence.

What the Times did is called “investigative journalism”. I realize Trump’s supporters don’t have a sound grasp of the meaning of either of the words that make up that descriptive phrase. Investigative journalism pulls information from varied sources together into a coherent picture. It doesn’t necessarily prove something beyond all reasonable doubt; it only presents what is believed to be the most reasonable conclusion based on all of the gathered information.

Proof meeting courtroom evidentiary standards is something different. To know the truth with that level of certainty, analysts would need access to tax documents and things like Deutsche Bank loan records. That won’t be long in coming, but it will unfortunately be coming after the November election. That’s because Trump’s army of lawyers has fought disclosure to investigating civil authorities every inch of the way, and because he has used his powers of office to do the same with respect to congressional oversight and investigative committees. The DoJ was compromised early on. Robert Mueller wasn’t allowed to look into Trump’s business activities, which were one of the more likely areas where he could be seriously compromised and subject to outside influence.

I’d rather see Trump rejected by voters now than exposed in a courtroom during the first year of his second term of office, which I believe would be vastly more divisive and damaging to the nation. If he’s reelected, he’ll use the presidency and presidential powers as a shield and break things in the process. He’d turn political divisions into national disintegration, hoping he might come out on the winning side. That’s what his behavior up until now tells me.

Try to name one thing that he has ever placed ahead of winning. Even his responses to a pandemic that has thus far killed over 205,000 Americans have involved cynical political calculations.

@Greg:

What the Times did is called “investigative journalism”.

No, not hardly. Someone leaked a bunch of unsubstantiated, unverified rumors on them and, as liberal propaganda outlets will do, just run with it regardless of having data, documents or sources. In the end, what does it show? Trump took tax breaks. Duh. No crimes, no lies, no Russian collusion, no NOTHING. He did, in fact, what Biden, Kerry, Obama, Hillary and Bernie all did; pay the bare minimum in taxes.

@Greg: This thread is about lifetime liar Joe there is another thread on Trumps new found popularity with libertarians for tax avoidance. Taxation is theft. So lets hear all your fluff on the liar Joe.

greg can not help the fact that he is a complete dumbass. His mind does not work on anything unless it is Trump. I applaud Curt for leaving the lemming here for our comedic enjoyment. He wastes his time here because no one gives a shit about him or his lies. He would be a more productive human if he would work in a soup kitchen

@Curt:

Touché! Your old nemesis has returned.

Nemesis…ha. No one cared about you then and no one cares about you now. You were banned 8 years ago and will continue to be. Bring on your sock puppets.

@Greg:

What the Times did is called “investigative journalism”.

No, what the NYSlimes did is called “yellow” journalism. It is also illegal to disclose someone’s personal income tax returns.

But then, going all the way back to the days of Walter Duranty, the NYSlimes has been dishonest in their reporting. Not to mention that Authur Sulzberger was fully aware of the Holocaust of European Jews and in spite of Sulzberger himself being a Jew, refused to report on one of the greatest genocides in history.

The NYSlimes is not even fit to line a bird cage. It is a rag.

@Joachim: At least now you have an excuse not to answer questions aside from cowardice.

@kitt:

Taxation is theft.

Taxation is paying our dues. There is no free lunch. (Unless you’re Donald, it would appear.) Joe Biden—who is no billionaire, phony or otherwise—paid nearly $300,000 in federal income taxes for 2019. We know that because his tax returns are public. That was on adjusted gross income of $985,000. Does that make Joe a tax cheat, or a sucker, or a responsible citizen?

@Greg:

Taxation is paying our dues. There is no free lunch.

Really? So all those people living in public housing and getting food stamps (the free lunch part) are paying taxes?

Joe Biden—who is no billionaire, phony or otherwise—paid nearly $300,000 in federal income taxes for 2019. We know that because his tax returns are public.

You know that not because Biden’s taxes are “public” as you call them. It is because he released his 2019 tax return to the press this afternoon.

@Greg:

Taxation is paying our dues.

…but who can be trusted to decide what is “due”? That’s why we have a Republic with elected leaders.

Trump has paid 1.4 in salary to the Federal Government (by not taking the $400,000 per year salary). That’s an incredible contribution, made without obligation.

The play here is to feed on the ignorance of people by not showing the whole picture. Trump paid plenty, much more over the past two decades than Joe Biden probably made (I’m not counting the China money, because that’s criminal).

To my knowledge, both Biden and Trump paid the taxes owed to the IRS.

No issue here, just Democrat/Leftist desperation. It’s to distract from the debates tonight, when Trump out-talks the voice in Joe’s ear.

@retire05, #48:

Really? So all those people living in public housing and getting food stamps (the free lunch part) are paying taxes?

We’re not talking about the poor families or elderly people who live in public housing and depend on food stamps. We’re talking about a supposed billionaire who lives in the White House—which is also public housing, come to think.

Clinton had this guy’s number back in 2016. You did not choose wisely.

You know that not because Biden’s taxes are “public” as you call them. It is because he released his 2019 tax return to the press this afternoon.

Handing them to the press does not constitute making them public? His prior three years were already public record. That takes us all the way back to his final year as Vice President, when they had been released for each of the 8 years he served.

@Greg:

We’re not talking about the poor families or elderly people who live in public housing and depend on food stamps. We’re talking about a supposed billionaire who lives in the White House—which is also public housing, come to think.

But you didn’t qualify that when you made this statement:

Taxation is paying our dues. There is no free lunch.

But as you always do, when it is pointed out that you are wrong, you have to add a caveat to your original statement.

You also seem to be of the opinion that I give one tinker’s damn about Biden’s tax records. I don’t. But I sure would like to see Hunter Biden’s bank statements along with his tax records.

The tax records that should be closely examined are those of Billary Clinton and the Clinton Crime Family.
