It just cracks me up. Wired.com was all over Trump for being a Russian agent

Did Russia Affect the 2016 Election? It’s Now Undeniable
In the indictment, Trump campaign officials are referred to as “unwitting” participants in Russian information warfare. This gives the White House an out—and a chance to finally act against what the Kremlin did. But the evidence presented in the indictment makes it increasingly hard to say Russian efforts to influence the American mind were a failure.
2019. The hysteria grows
Trump Must Be a Russian Agent; the Alternative Is Too Awful
What we haven’t seen in any of these instances (and many others) is the “why.” That’s where we’ll ultimately learn the truth about which scenario we face: an incredibly hapless and easily coopted president—or an active criminal conspirator. Why was Manafort funneling campaign polling data through Konstantin Kilimnik? Why does Mueller believe Kilimnik is tied to Russian intelligence? Why does the US believe the Russian president himself approved the attack?
Well, a month ago Bernie Sanders was briefed that Russia was trying to help his campaign
Wired.com: 2020 Russia? Did someone say Bernie?
Russia Doesn’t Want Bernie Sanders. It Wants Chaos
If there’s one line intelligence officials have stuck to about Russian interference in US elections, it’s that it never stopped. Not after the 2016 election, not after the 2018 midterms, and certainly not now, well into the 2020 primary season. Which is why it should be no great surprise that, as The Washington Post first reported Friday, US officials warned Bernie Sanders that Russia is “attempting to help” his presidential campaign. It also shouldn’t be read as any kind of endorsement.
This is really amusing. Wired.com has it this way- Russian interference meant Trump was a Russian agent, but when it came to Bernie, it was something other than Bernie being a Russian agent, despite the fact that Bernie Sanders’ philosophies are much more aligned with Russia’s than Trump’s ever were.
They actually finally got it right but only because their ox was being gored.
The Russian goal is and always was the same
“The strategic goal of this alleged conspiracy, which continues to this day, is to sow discord in the U.S. political system and to undermine faith in our democratic institutions,” said U.S. Attorney Zachary Terwilliger.
Russia does want chaos. That includes duping the feeble minded into believing the idiocy that Donald Trump is a Russian agent.
Russia was very successful at that.
Those who still believe it have their brains wired wrong.

Except for liberals being foolish.
Mike will get it done—Trump will look the fool as he did today in his ridiculous news conference—I would have laughed uncontrollably if it wasn’t so serious—-lets see if he can prop the markets down 2500 points in 3 days.
@Richard Wheeler: What exactly will Mike get done?
Its like Hope and Change meaningless.
I didnt think the presser was especially well done, but it is certainly better than causing fear by saying They have no plan. There is a plan for nearly all major situations. As it was said dust them off follow the plan. Questions or lost your copy call the CDC.
Panic is no way to handle an emergency, tossing extra billions at germs, they cant be bribed. Trump will take the money.
@Richard Wheeler: Markets are down due to the coronavirus, spawned in a communist state, the risks and dangers covered up as long as they could (as totalitarian states do) until it began to spread around the world. Then, Democrat “leaders” stoke fear and panic in order to try and exploit the crisis for their personal political benefit (as those who support a totalitarian state would do). The only way Bloomberg could improve on that is that his party and the party’s media would not be spreading rumors to incite panic.
The same goes for their promises to end divisiveness if only they can win; this is possible because THEY are the divisive ones, THEY generate the divisiveness and, like in a totalitarian government, if THEY stopped being divisive, there would be no divisiveness.
Again, how easily you can overlook the misogyny and racism of Bloomberg’s actions shows how none of that ever mattered to you; just another weaponization of an issue by intolerant liberals.
Maybe your lawyer for the ducks will run again so you can really get behind someone.
@Deplorable Me: Political news from the state of Mississippi may prove there is reason to worry.
Eight political officials who were Democrats or independents have reportedly switched to Republicans. They have no stomach for Socialism taking over their party.
@kitt: The DNC isn’t worried about Bernie’s socialism; they’re only worried his socialism will cost THEM the election. That party is circling the drain. They no longer can offer viable policies to help the US citizen; all they can do is try to exploit a crisis or tragedy to collect support.
@Deplorable Me: I find it encouraging that people can see there is an option to just walk away from the insanity. All are welcome in the party, we must embrace them and assist their recovery.
@kitt: It shows how the DNC is fully controlled by the two coasts and don’t care one bit what anyone in between think. There’s also a lawsuit in Florida seeking to kick Bernie off the ballot there because he’s not a Democrat. One wonders why the DNC hasn’t played this card.
You know… “IT”. Like all that great hopey, changey stuff we got under Obama.
@Deplorable Me: Most Americans don’t support open borders, medicare for all and late-term abortion and may find it tough to vote for candidates who do. A few non-Bloomberg funded Dems have realistic gun law attitudes and took note what happened in Virginia, there is still talk about many counties joining West VA. Bidens 150 million people killed by guns…really 50 % of Americans… Joe? The DNC is owned and operated by Hillary cronies. They change rules as it suits them.
Having gotten away with it before, who actually believed they wouldn’t do it again?
August 8, 2020 – U.S. Intelligence Says Republicans Are Working With Russia to Reelect Trump
Trump has methodically attacked and subverted every U.S. governmental component that could represent a threat of personal exposure, or get in his way. It doesn’t matter in the least that this includes the Department of Justice, the nation’s courts, the State Department, the U.S. Intelligence community, or the Inspector Generals who’s duty it is to keep all of these components functioning honestly, apolitically, and in the best interests of the people of the United States. He has even openly defied the law to neutralize the oversight powers of Congress, having been assured by his tool in the DoJ that he cannot be charged with any statutory violation.
Only the American people can put an end to this by voting him out of office in November, but be aware that even the election is in jeopardy. That process too is threatened by Trump and his enablers from multiple angles of attack. There have been propaganda attacks on the integrity of voting by mail—a process that’s been successful for years with no indications of significant fraud or abuse—when an out-of-control pandemic could render in person voting a serious national health hazard in November, and direct attacks on the U.S. Postal Service itself, including measures recently taken that are calculated to greatly slow mail delivery. That’s in addition to ongoing efforts on the part of multiple republican state legislatures to suppress the vote by shortening early voting hours, reducing the number of available polling places, imposing sometimes unreasonable ID restrictions, etc. As if that were not enough, Trump has publicly hinted at a possible need to delay the November election—which he has no constitutional power to do. He has also suggested that he might not accept the result of the election, should he have some question concerning its legitimacy—a very concerning statement, when he has already floated a variety of crack-brain conspiracy theories about the process.
@Greg: Did you ever stop to think greggie the rock that the Chinese and Russians think that Biden is so bad that at least Trump understands international issues?
Also, William Evanina, director of the United States National Counterintelligence and Security Center. Has worked for the CIA and the FBI during the Bremmer, Comey and Clapper days. What makes anyone think he is anything different that they are. Also , does it seem far out that no civilian organizations not associated with Soros and the DNC has not been able to confirm Evanina’s statements? You should be participating in those peaceful demonstrations in Portland greggie the rock. They are just down your alley!
@Randy:
I suppose that will make him another target for removal by Donald Trump, like each of the public servants that you mentioned.
Regarding international issues, Donald Trump clearly doesn’t know his butt from a barn door. One need only honestly tally up all of the results to see how far we’ve slipped. All Trump understands is influence peddling, and how to use power to personal advantage. His most recent effort to have the British Open moved to his private golf resort would have been more than enough to bring down any past administration, but this King of All Swamp Creatures exists in the midst of so many serious, simultaneous scandals that the story is hardly even a blip on the media’s radar.
The man is a national menace, and a national embarrassment. His continuance in office is like a public proclamation of our own collective stupidity.
@Greg: The debunked never gets old with you brother.
@kitt: Remember, a rock like greggie can not think and can only repeat what resisters say no matter the validity. I wonder how many of President Bush’s staff did Obama keep?
@Greg: Um… you DIDN’T get away with making those false allegations. Why would you try it again?
