In her petty and petulant act of tearing up Donald Trump’s SOTU speech Nancy Pelosi did more than render paper. She tore the hearts out of real people. Disrespect for Trump at the SOTU is nothing new. Last year she clapped at Trump but this year was over the top.
Let no one think that it wasn’t planned.

Pelosi tore up the family of Kayla Mueller. Mueller was kidnapped and murdered by bu Bakr al-Baghdadi who in turn was eliminated in a raid ordered by Trump. Trump recognized her parents, who gave him a standing ovation.
Pelosi tore up Rocky Jones, whose brother was murdered by an illegal alien.
Appearing on “Fox and Friends” Wednesday morning, Jody Jones, whose brother was shot and killed by an illegal alien at a California gas station in 2018, recounted how he felt when Pelosi chose to rip up Trump’s speech at the end of the address, calling it “probably the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen in my life.”
“Felt like she ripped our hearts out. All the guests. We couldn’t believe it,” Jones said.
“I don’t care how you feel about somebody. That was probably the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen in my life. Because, when she did that, it just tore us up. We couldn’t believe it,” he continued.
Pelosi tore up Rush Limbaugh, whom Trump awarded the Medal of Freedom. Limbaugh recently disclosed that he has late stage lung cancer.
Pelosi tore up Kelly Hake, whose husband was killed by an EFP (IED) furnished by Qasem Soleimani. Soleimani was eliminated in a strike ordered by Trump.
Pelosi tore up Elie Schneider, a child surviving being born at 21 weeks.
Pelosi tore up the family of Sgt. First Class Townsend Williams, whose wife and two children were in attendance and surprised with the father’s return.
Pelosi tore up Janiyah Davis, a young black girl who was gifted a scholarship
President Trump surprised a Philadelphia fourth-grader with an “opportunity scholarship” and demanded states expand funding for school choice. But Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is personally paying for the little girl’s tuition for one year.

Pelosi tore up Charles McGee, one the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen. Trump promoted him to Brigadier General at the SOTU.
Of the speech, Pelosi said “I tried to find one page I could spare that didn’t have a lie on it,”
These were real people. They weren’t lies.
Professor Jonathan Turley called for her resignation.
Pelosi has demolished decades of tradition with this poorly considered moment. Of course, many will celebrate her conduct and be thrilled by the insult to Trump. However, even those of us who disagree with his policies should consider what Pelosi destroyed in her moment of rage. She shredded the pretense of governing with civility and dignity in the House. Notably, she did not wait to rip up her copy of the speech until after she left the House floor. Pelosi wanted to do it in front of the cameras, at the end of the address with the president still in the chamber.
That act was more important to Pelosi than preserving the tradition of her office. In doing so, she forfeited the right to occupy that office. If Pelosi cannot maintain the dignity and neutrality of her office at the State of the Union, she should resign as the speaker of the House of Representatives.
I thought it was the best SOTU I’ve ever heard. Pelosi probably agreed, which may have been in part motivation for her actions.
Pelosi’s actions weren’t just disrespectful to the office of the President, they were tremendous insults to the people honored at the SOTU. I believe that this was a parting shot. I think she knows she’s done.
The other day Dana Perino said the same thing. She feels that Pelosi really didn’t want this impeachment but was steamrolled by the far left wing of the dem party which now pretty much controls the party now. She wanted the impeachment done by Christmas to avoid it spilling into the next year. Schiff and Nadler wanted more witnesses despite their claim of “overwhelming” evidence, but that would have seen the impeachment farce go on for months. Pelosi’s demand that it end at Christmas precluded any more witnesses, instead throwing it in the laps of the Senate.
They had their chance for witnesses. Pelosi said no. Republicans are not to blame.
Just now Paul Sperry reports that Pelosi will be looking for more impeachments. I hope dems do. This one blew up in their faces and even the rank and file are weary of it.
Trump’s approval rating has never been higher and Pelosi’s has never been lower.
This quixotic quest will be the undoing of the democrat party.

I stand for the National Anthem, I kneel before my God and my fallen brothers. I kneel at my daughter’s grave- she gave her life in uniform. When people tell me “thank you for your service, ” I tell them to thank my brothers and sisters who gave their life for this country. bar fly polosi and the democraps hate America, The Constitution, and all of the people that make this country great.
Democrats chose a path. After failing to provide anything positive for the American people for 8 years, they knew that if they tried to provide the American people with hope for a better America, they would drive off much of their most faithful supporters. So, they didn’t even try. They decided, instead, that they would just attack Trump for 4 years and accuse him of crimes, treachery, racism and whatever else they themselves have been doing. Knowing their candidates are socialists, corrupt, fools and liars they have desperately tried to trample the Constitution, due process, laws of evidence, precedence and protocol and impeach Trump.
They failed miserably. They showed the nation what true scum they are, not that many of their followers are repelled by that. THIS is forever, Nancy.

Let’s say that I am (one of) the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen who flew 130 missions and managed to come home alive and I personally suffered the discrimination of the Democrats against those of my race when I did come home from fighting for my nation and the freedom of persecuted Europeans. Let’s just say that.
I am promoted to General by the man who occupies the Oval Office and invited to the State of the Union address where the President, the most powerful man in the world, acknowledges my achievements and what do I get? A bunch of Democrat women sitting on their hands refusing to applaud for my personal sacrifices. I’m thinking all that is missing is their white hoods to go along with their white suits.
Sad as it may seem Pelosi is the Congressional Representative from my district. Every two years its the same; she gets at least 85% of the vote. But down the ballot where there are many Initiatives and Propositions and the vote is split 60/40 or 55/45.
Close to the same number of votes are tabulated. So what’s going on? Is it nannies, maids and painters all around? Is it guilt or economic advantage?
Although the Dem party, led in the House by Nancy P are out to destroy America, let’s don’t forget the old Republicans who were willing, pre-Trump, to “manage the decline,” which was simply a slower destruction of America.
Trump, becoming president proved there is another, far better option.
Most Republicans eventually got onboard with him.
So, naturally Dems are angry.
They got left behind along with Mitt and Kristol and Jonah and the other GOPe’rs.

I did not watch the SOTU, rarely ever do. However, I just read the transcript to see if I could divine the items that were so terrible that Nancy just had to tear up her copy then and there.
It was a good speech. If any other president was making those remarks, Pelosi would not have torn it up. If a Democrat president made that speech, she would have been applauding the whole time.
She claims Trump’s presenting the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Rush was inappropriate in her house. The photo of her standing and pointing her finger at Trump in a White House meeting shows that she is not above disrespect in someone else’s house, so she has no standing to complain.
Pelosi’s hatred for Trump, his supporters, and the country was on full display. She should be removed as speaker and sent home to her sanctuary (city).
