Today the Russian collusion fantasy died. Michael Cohen was the last gasp effort by democrats to prove something that did not exist. democrats will rue this day.
Despite throwing one smear after another at Trump, Cohen admitted that he saw no evidence of collusion.
“Questions have been raised about whether I know of direct evidence that Mr. Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia. I do not.”
Cohen admitted that he colluded, er, I mean spoke with Adam Schiff about the topics they’d visit today
Michael Cohen, former personal attorney to President Donald Trump, admitted that he discussed with Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) “topics that might come up” in preparation for his Wednesday hearing before the House Oversight Committee.
“I spoke to Mr. Schiff about topics that were going to be raised at the upcoming hearing,” Cohen told Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) when pressed about the pair’s past discussion.
“Whoa,” Jordan responded. “Not just what time you’re going to show up, but what you’re going to talk about? Whoa.”
One of the funniest parts was Cohen making a hilarious claim:
For those who question my motives for being here today, I understand. I have lied, but I am not a liar. I have done bad things, but I am not a bad man.

Elijah Cummings gave hyperbole a bad name praising Michael Cohen
I believe he told the truth. I’ve been practicing law — first of all, as I said in there, I practiced law for many years. And one of the things that I did, I represented a lot of lawyers who got in trouble. And I’m used to watching witnesses. I think that, he — first of all, I think he’s very — something, a lightbulb went off in his head, I guess, and he said, you know what, I’m going the wrong way, and I want to change things. I want to reverse things. And I think he’s remorseful. And a lot of people said, oh, the reason why he’s coming in is because he just wants to get his sentence reduced. I think that’s not likely.”
And then the laugher:
“I believe him.”
Cohen was convicted of lying to Congress.
Cohen’s hearing took place on the same day Trump was meeting with Kim Jong Un
Trump told reporters that “a lot of great ideas” are “being thrown about.” He says “when you have a good relationship, a lot of good things happen.”
Kim, for his part, said the “whole world” was watching the talks and suggested that, for some, the image of the two “sitting side by side” must resemble “a fantasy movie.”
Trump added that while reaching a lasting agreement was critical, “speed is not important.” The two leaders then retired to begin their negotiations privately, and a signing ceremony was expected later in the day.
None of the left wing media would cover the presser between Kim and Trump. It was intentional. They were not going to give Trump one bit of credit for making things safer in the Korean peninsula. They needed a distraction.
One gets the sense that were Trump to be re-elected, the left wing media would not cover it either.
The left is not afraid of Trump failing. They are terrified of him succeeding and they will go to virtually any length to stymie him no matter the cost to the country.
Please- impeach Trump. It will guarantee his re-election.

How do they pick these people in the committees During Michael Cohen’s testimony today, Debbie Wasserman Schultz was one of the people who questioned Michael Cohen, think about that. This woman resigned from her job in the DNC for fixing a primary election in favor of Hilliary Clinton, now she is questioning Cohen about fixing an election it just doesnt get any closer to the twilight zone than this kids.
