The Russia investigation was opened on a lie. It is all a lie.

That Russia investigation. First they told us it began with a FISA warrant on Carter Page, who appeared in a Michael Isikoff story in September 2016  and his life has been upended ever since.

As that fell apart, they said no, it wasn’t Carter Page. It was George Papadopoulos.  Pay close attention to what is said about him.

NY Times

WASHINGTON — During a night of heavy drinking at an upscale London bar in May 2016, George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, made a startling revelation to Australia’s top diplomat in Britain: Russia had political dirt on Hillary Clinton.

About three weeks earlier, Mr. Papadopoulos had been told that Moscow had thousands of emails that would embarrass Mrs. Clinton, apparently stolen in an effort to try to damage her campaign.

Exactly how much Mr. Papadopoulos said that night at the Kensington Wine Rooms with the Australian, Alexander Downer, is unclear. But two months later, when leaked Democratic emails began appearing online, Australian officials passed the information about Mr. Papadopoulos to their American counterparts, according to four current and former American and foreign officials with direct knowledge of the Australians’ role.

Now let’s look at how a number of liberal outlets reported it. The Telegraph:

The investigation into possible collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia was reportedly sparked by a conversation that took place over a drink in a London bar.

George Papadopoulos, who was a foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, was said to have disclosed to a senior Australian diplomat in the bar that Russia had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton.

Mr Papadopoulos was said to have been given the information about the emails by a friend with Russian contacts.

He was told there were “thousands of emails” that may embarrass Mrs Clinton and her campaign.

CNN:

George Papadopoulos told an Australian diplomat that Russia had “political dirt” on Hillary Clinton in May of last year, a conversation that might have played a role in the FBI’s decision to open an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, according to a report published Saturday.

The New York Times reported that Papadopoulos, then a foreign policy adviser to Donald Trump’s campaign, was drinking at an upscale London bar when he told Australia’s top diplomat in Britain, Alexander Downer, that Russia had political information on Clinton.

A few weeks before their meeting, Papadopoulos was told Moscow had thousands of emails relating to Clinton, CNN has reported.

NBC:

WASHINGTON — An Australian diplomat’s tip appears to have helped persuade the FBI to investigate Russian meddling in the U.S. election and possible coordination with the Trump campaign, The New York Times reported Saturday.

Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos told the diplomat, Alexander Downer, during a meeting in London in May 2016 that Russia had thousands of emails that would embarrass Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, the report said. Downer, a former foreign minister, is Australia’s top diplomat in Britain.

(emphases mine)

Notice how the stories either claim outright that Papadopoulos told Downer that Russia had the emails or they try to convince you it did. They all indicate that Papadopoulos told Downer that Russia had “dirt” on Clinton.

OK, now let’s see what Downer actually said. Chuck Ross:

Over drinks, Papadopoulos mentioned Russians had information on Hillary Clinton that could prove damaging, Downer told The Australian in an April 28 interview.

There was no indication in the short exchange with Papadopoulos that Trump was aware of the damaging information, Downer also said.

“By the way, nothing [Papadopoulos] said in that conversation indicated Trump himself had been conspiring with the Russians to collect information on Hillary Clinton. It was just that this guy, [Papadopoulos], clearly knew that the Russians did have material on Hillary Clinton — but whether Trump knew or not?” Downer explained.

“He didn’t say Trump knew or that Trump was in any way involved in this. He said it was about Russians and Hillary Clinton; it wasn’t about Trump,” Downer told The Australian.

And about that “dirt”:

Papadopoulos’s reference to Clinton material was vague, Downer suggested.

“He didn’t say dirt; he said material that could be damaging to her. No, he said it would be damaging. He didn’t say what it was.”

About that “heavy drinking”?

Downer also suggested the meeting was brief and Papadopoulos was not drunk, as has been widely reported. According to the profile, Downer and Papadopoulos spoke over a “single short drink.”

No dirt, No heavy drinking. No emails.

I find the fact that Downer sought out Papadopoulos extremely interesting. That dovetails with what I have been saying all along. It was a set-up.

Papadopoulos named Trump advisor.

Within two weeks, Josef Mifsud finds him.

Mifsud tells Papadopoulos that the Russians have hillary’s emails.

Downer seeks out Papadopoulos.

Papadopoulos doesn’t drink heavily or speak of dirt or emails.

Via Sam Clovis, Stefan Halper contacts Papadopoulos and lures him to England, where he presses Papadopoulos for information on the Clinton emails (fed to him by Josef Mifsud) and has a young woman flirt with Papadopoulos. That woman contact was instrumental in fabricating charges against Papadopoulos. Halper is said to have been irritated by Papadopoulos’ lack of knowledge about the emails.

The FBI scares Papadopoulos into lying about not doing anything illegal. They nail him and squeeze him for dirt on Trump that was fed to Papadopoulos by Mifsud and which Stefan Halper tried to extract from Papadopoulos.

It’s almost as if the Mueller framed Papadopoulos out of spite.

The basis for opening the investigation was a fraud. The FISA warrant was based on a lie. It was all a lie. What we really need to hear testimony from Rob Goldstone, Josef Mifsud and Stefan Halper.

I won’t be holding my breath.

@Angel Artiste: If you think failure and exposure of a thinly disguised political witch hunt is going to cause liberals to admit what they’ve been up to all along, you haven’t been paying close attention. Liberals have no problem whatsoever (totally lacking in conscience and dignity) in pretending no one sees their duplicity and through their lies.

@Greg:

Thought for the day: The forest was shrinking…

The forest knew better than to vote for leatherface. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs3981DoINw

@Deplorable Me:
It’s not a matter of admitting or denying failure. When Mueller loses prosecutions of people and entities he has indicted, failure is obvious. The left can deny the roof is caving in on them all they want, but they will be squashed just the same. In fact, it’s probably better if they don’t see it coming.

@Angel Artiste: My point was more that they will deny reality as long as there is another liberal that will repeat their lie. When (not if) Mueller fails to show even a hint of corruption of Trump or his campaign, they will press on with a new accusation that will take another year to disprove, then another, then another. Finding the truth is not the goal and, make no mistake, they KNOW what the facts really are.

This Air Force veteran is going to prison for 5 years for leaking a document classified by the Trump administration that revealed a multi-pronged Russian cyber-attack against U.S. voting systems. She did so with full understanding of the legal consequences, which she has now accepted. At the time…

…the report, dated May 5, 2017, (was) the most detailed U.S. government account of Russian interference in the election that (had) yet come to light.

I’d call this a patriotic act. She sized up the situation and took one for her country. No doubt opinions vary. Don’t look for any pardon from the President.

@Greg: Yet, even if true, what is missing, Greg? What is missing?

Oh, yeah… anything relating to Trump. Obama’s and the rogue FBI personnel’s interference was far more dangerous than ANYTHING the Russians did.

The entire Russian election meddling effort is related to Donald Trump. That fact would be the 13,000 pound elephant in the room that Trump followers seem to find totally invisible.

@Greg:

Greg
The entire Russian election meddling effort is related to Donald Trump.

Well… no, it didn’t. Not even a little, tiny bit of it did. None of it did. It related to causing trouble, then the Democrats told Putin, “Hold my beer!” and proceeded to cause more trouble and damage than the Russians ever dreamed was possible.

Seriously? The targeted Russian social media campaign could very well be what what turned the electoral college outcome in favor of Donald Trump. That was certainly their intention. But you will never acknowledge that, no matter what our intelligence agencies say.

Hey, Trump says they say they didn’t do anything. And all those secret meetings between Trump campaign officials and Putin operatives most likely don’t mean anything, either. Right?

Pardon me for being insufficiently gullible to unquestioningly believe such b.s. I know what I’m seeing. I know what it all adds up to. Why can’t Trump supporters figure it out? They won’t believe it, even if Robert Mueller rolls out a wagon load of evidence.

Trump’s barrage of attacks ‘beyond belief,’ reeling NATO diplomats say

@Greg:

Greg
Seriously? The targeted Russian social media campaign could very well be what what turned the electoral college outcome in favor of Donald Trump.

I pray to God I am never as desperate as you and your fellow whiners for some shimmer of hope that an election I didn’t like the outcome of would be overturned. I didn’t like Obama’s election, I was disappointed that he veered so far left, but I accepted the outcome. I didn’t, and neither did anyone else, concoct wild-ass conspiracy theories as to how he got elected.

What “social media” blurb do you think pushed Trump over the top? I am REALLY interested to see which ones were that good.

But you will never acknowledge that, no matter what our intelligence agencies say.

No, I won’t. Because, next to claiming to believe the 33,000 emails Hillary destroyed immediately upon learning the State Department wanted them because they were “personal” emails, that is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard. You are cracking, Greg. Get help. Really. This is bad. I think you should voluntarily surrender any guns and other weapons you might own.

@Greg: @Deplorable Me: Greg’s just a paid troll…doesn’t even care about what he’s saying, he’s just paid to say it.

Gotta keep the Russia Lie alive, and then work in the latest fake news of the day involving Trump and Nato.

Spreading hate and discontent…that’s Greg’s job.

What’s a retired Marine from Puerto Rico..ahem…I mean a young person…with no life experience going to do?

Get paid to propagate fake news.

@Nathan Blue:

What’s a retired Marine from Puerto Rico..ahem…I mean a young person…with no life experience going to do?

Hmmm. I recall a few years back he stated his ancestors fought in the Civil War, on both sides if I’m not mistaken. I even told him where to go to look up their unit rosters. PR didn’t become part of the U.S. until after the Spanish-American War. Draw your own conclusions.

Hillary assisted Russia in forming the Russian version of Silicon Valley with help from wealthy donors to her slush fund . Didn’t run for President she staggered, too drunk to find swing states. Ripped off Bernie donations with a Phishing scheme. She so dumb she couldnt win a fixed election.
We are supposed to believe the Russians did it, ummm we watched it unfold, we heard her insane ramblings calling Americans names.
Sure it was the Russians, bigfoot and the Easter bunny that stole the election from her.

Just look at how Trump went to NATO and told them to stand down, contribute less to common defense, do more business with Russia, which provides them more money for their military, and trust Russia more.

Oh… wait. Never mind.

I couldn’t help but notice that in Cummings’ long dissertation, he never mentioned anyTHING or anyONE that had anything to do with Trump or any accusation against him. Of course, you had to know the details of each charge for Cummings certainly didn’t reveal that detail.

So, why bring this up? Because it reveals clearly that not only does the left have not one shred of evidence to justify continuing this witch hunt of an “investigation” but the Democrats KNOW it.

Democrats are desperate to keep answers from coming out. That, too, is revealing. Exposing the fact that the “investigation” into trying for find SOMETHING… ANYTHING… that can be used to try and harm a legally and duly elected President of the United States. Desperation.

Thursday, July 12, 2018 — F.B.I. Agent at Center of Russia Probe Turns Tables on G.O.P.

WASHINGTON — The embattled F.B.I. agent who oversaw the opening of the Russia investigation mounted an aggressive personal defense on Thursday, rejecting accusations that he let his private political views bias his official actions and labeling Republican attacks on him “another victory notch in Putin’s belt.”

“Let me be clear, unequivocally and under oath: not once in my 26 years of defending my nation did my personal opinions impact any official action I took,” the agent, Peter Strzok, told House lawmakers investigating what they say is evidence of rampant bias at the top levels of the F.B.I.

In his first public comments, he concluded his prepared remarks with a pointed broadside against his antagonizers.

“I understand we are living in a political era in which insults and insinuation often drown out honesty and integrity,” Mr. Strzok said, continuing: “I have the utmost respect for Congress’s oversight role, but I truly believe that today’s hearing is just another victory notch in Putin’s belt and another milestone in our enemies’ campaign to tear America apart.”

He concluded: “As someone who loves this country and cherishes its ideals, it is profoundly painful to watch and even worse to play a part in.”

Bravo! It’s high time somebody stood up to these political pimps and Trump tools. I haven’t been so pleased since Hillary Clinton held her ground against Trey Gowdy and made him break out in a cold sweat. I only wish he hadn’t been so polite about it—but then again, the institution is deserving of respect, if not all of those who sometimes occupy its chambers.

@Greg:

I understand we are living in a political era in which insults and insinuation often drown out honesty and integrity,

Which we find both in his texts, which drown out his credibility and integrity.

Anyone who can’t recognize Donald Trump for the compulsive liar that he is can hardly be relied upon to pass fair judgement on the truthfulness of a genuinely honest man.

@Greg: Yeah, let’s trust the guy that before he even began his investigation into Hillary receiving, sending and storing classified information on her illegal, unsecured, private, secret email server he declared her innocent and President when he says he isn’t biased. Sure. Also, he can’t answer questions about BEFORE he started his investigation because the investigation is underway. Oooo…. that’s courageous.

Notice how, as if someone blew a whistle, all the Democrats rallied to delay and throw procedural delays out to obstruct the questions and revelations of the blatant bias and prejudice of Strzok. The left lives in mortal fear that the truth about their transparent witch hunt will expose itself, being apparently oblivious to how obvious that fact is.

I wonder why the Democrats keep harking back to people who have been harassed into guilty pleas and are under indictment without mentioning that NONE of the accusations have anything at ALL to do with Trump or an investigation into Russian interference or collusion? Strzok himself said Flynn didn’t lie to the FBI. Liberals may be stupid enough not to see through that (as if they actually want to see the truth) but I’m not. It’s all part of the campaign of guilt by accusation, guilt by association and guilt by imagination.

Anyone on the left that does not walk away from this party in utter disgust is the compulsive liar. Anyone on the left that does not walk away from this party is more guilty than any Russian of maliciously and knowingly causing damage to the United States.

@Greg:
If you are calling that weasel genuine or honest, we dont have all of the texts. Watching the testimony seems the democrats asked no questions but only made glowing statements about the weasel and saying the IG reports conclusion reported no bias after it report itself pointed to hundreds of examples of bias.
Refusal to answer questions which could bring on contempt of congress charges.

“Hey, just because I said Hillary should absolutely be President and ignored her perjury, lies, destruction of evidence and mishandling of classified information, word-smithed a statement to make guilt sound like exoneration doesn’t mean I was biased.”

November can’t come too soon.

Need any more proof of Strzok’s open bias and how it affects his actions? Well, the Democrat Stalwell from California asked Strzok if the President encouraging the Russians to hack Hillary’s emails concerned him as a national security agent for the FBI.

Now, Trump never said that. What Stalwell stated is a bold-face lie. What Trump SAID, in jest, was that if Hillary can’t find her 33,000 missing emails, he bet the Russians could. The meaning, again in jest but based on fact since it has since been shown that Hillary’s secret, private, unsecured email server on which she conducted ALL her State Department business was hacked at least 6 times, was that though Hillary thought she destroyed them, it was probable our advisories had them.

Though this is the common misrepresentation of that remark, Strzok answered that, yes, that was a national security concern. So, beyond any possible doubt, Strzok bought into, accepted and promoted the lies the left have concocted about Trump ever since he became a candidate. Strzok just proved himself to be no smarter or better informed than the dumbest, most propagandized, idiotic liberal clinging to the hope of a Hillary Presidency regardless of how many crimes she committed.

One thing we learned today is that republican Rep. Louie Gohmert is not only an idiot, but a consummate jackass as well. He’s bringing up Strzok’s wife in a highly public, personal attack. Seriously, where do you find such people?

@Greg: Oh, really? What he pointed out is that Strzok has no problem with lying. He protected Hillary, who committed REAL CRIMES while whipping up an “investigation” of Trump and his campaign, hoping to find something useful to Hillary’s campaign and, failing that, to drag out to affect future elections and, hopefully, find something… ANYTHING… to use to promote impeachment.

Insurance.

But, it is taking longer to find anything useful than it is taking to uncover the lies, deceit and sedition of the left.

Seriously, where do you find such people?

The left provides them, in droves.

As noted before, you seem blissfully unaware of the fact that you voted for a president who lies in his official capacity multiple times daily. Clearly you either don’t know a liar when you see one, or don’t actually care. The same can be said for every pretentious republican twit that tried to rake Strzok over the coals today. The frickin’ idiots are threatening him with contempt charges because he won’t do the same damn thing that they’ve recently condemned Comey for doing. They can take a hike—as many are doing at the end of their current terms anyway, having read the writing on the wall. Soon, no one with honor will be able to stomach what the GOP has become. You can thank Donald Trump for that. He doesn’t know the meaning of the word, and has dragged the whole party down to his knee-high-to-a-gnat moral level.

@Greg:

As noted before, you seem blissfully unaware of the fact that you voted for a president who lies in his official capacity multiple times daily.

Here’s what I know: that the alternative (thanks to you liberals) was a lying, incompetent criminal who sells US influence for her own personal profit. I also know that since he has been in office, he has done a GREAT job.

A GREAT job.

Obama left a complete mess, a disaster, crises all over the place and Trump, not the most nimble politician, has to deal with them all.

The same can be said for every pretentious republican twit that tried to rake Strzok over the coals today.

Strzok is a complete liberal, partisan, biased liar. He soundly confirmed this today. Another sound confirmation was that Democrats had coordinated and rehearsed their effort to shut down the hearing or, at the very least, mire it down in shouting demands for phony parliamentary procedures. Strzok had better arrange for a 24/7 body guard because he is going to wind up dead on a park bench from Arkancide. He is a loose end.

The frickin’ idiots are threatening him with contempt charges because he won’t do the same damn thing that they’ve recently condemned Comey for doing.

I don’t suppose you noticed that when they asked the FBI if he could answer the questions they asked, they said, “Sure, why not?”. He had no such restriction from the FBI. Then when Gowdy asked him to answer the question he refused to answer earlier, did you see what his answer was? “I don’t remember.”

Yeah, you guys have a real righteous position there. REAL righteous.

Now, what was the Democrats big bombshell, the kicker that “proved” he had no personal bias against Trump that affected his actions? Well, he didn’t LEAK that there was an investigation going on! Well, guess what; he COULDN’T leak it because, first, it was an investigation for the sake of an investigation. They had no evidence of any wrongdoing by ANYONE involved with the campaign. Second, they were relying on information they got from HILLARY! Really? That’s where they get their “intelligence”? And third, they were conducting ILLEGAL surveillance, monitoring the calls of the opposition party’s candidate and sprinkling spies around his campaign.

Yeah, he really held back. Revealing what they were doing would have been suicide… as we now see.

Your beloved Democrats have become an utter joke. They are liars, they support liars and they defend liars. You’ve really hitched your wagon to a winner there, Greg. Nice work.

Just make sure Hillary runs again in 2020!

I prefer Elizabeth Warren, just to see if Trump is stupid enough to start telling Pocahontas jokes again. All indications are that he is.

Trump’s flunkies still can’t stop Mueller, which is most likely why they’re all so testy. It’s flat-out pathetic that they’re threatening Strzok with contempt charges for refusing to testify about an ongoing criminal investigation—something that he simply cannot do.

@Greg: But he did, in the Congresswomans idiot barrage of yes or no only questions he did give an answer. Wonder if they will actually ever begin to ask relevant questions. your link doesnt work

@Greg:

Greg
I prefer Elizabeth Warren, just to see if Trump is stupid enough to start telling Pocahontas jokes again. All indications are that he is.

Oh, sure… Warren. SHE never lies, does she? Another wealthy liberal socialist that is getting wealthy through politics while she vilifies anyone else working hard to make themselves wealthy? You might want to ask her some questions about the rules of emailing before you attach yourself too tightly to her moccasins.

It’s flat-out pathetic that they’re threatening Strzok with contempt charges for refusing to testify about an ongoing criminal investigation—something that he simply cannot do.

You should read Dr. John’s new article, then come back and delete this comment. It appears Strzok was TOLD Hillary’s secret, private, unsecured email server had been hacked; some other country had entered themselves on her mailing list and received 30,000 of her emails and Strzok did NOTHING. He was so worried about national security around Trump but he just sat on his ass, continued texting his piece of ass and did NOTHING to protect US national security.

Oh, yeah… it WAS HACKED, just as you have been denying and I have been telling you. Hillary was an absolutely terrible choice for President, yet Strzok not only supported her but he covered up the crimes he knew she committed and also tried to damage Trump to the point to assure Hillary, the lying incompetent criminal, would win.

When they went to the FBI and asked if Strzok could answer those questions, they said, sure, why not. Strzok was lying, trying to hide behind false prohibitions from the FBI.

Friday, July 13, 2018 — 12 Russians indicted in Mueller investigation

The Justice Department announced indictments against 12 Russian nationals as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, accusing them of engaging in a “sustained effort” to hack Democrats’ emails and computer networks.

All 12 defendants are members of the GRU, a Russian federation intelligence agency within the main intelligence directorate of the Russian military, who were acting in “their official capacities.”

The revelations detail a sophisticated assault on the US election in 2016, including the release of emails designed to damage Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Do we need clarification of what “in their official capacities” means in the context of the current Russian government? It means they were acting under the orders of Vladimir Putin.

@Greg: Notice none of them are named “Trump”?

@Deplorable Me, #82:

Oh, yeah… it WAS HACKED, just as you have been denying and I have been telling you.

There is no evidence that Clinton’s server was ever successfully hacked. There is only evidence that five attempts to do so were successfully blocked.

Some correspondence directed to and received from that server was obtained by hackers by targeting the email accounts of other people who sent and received it.

The GOP exposed far more sensitive information through their moronic efforts to obtain and publish Clinton’s work and personal emails than hackers ever did.

@Deplorable Me, #84:

Notice none of them are named “Trump”?

His campaign manager has been arraigned on charges of Conspiracy Against the United States, Money Laundering, Failure to File Reports of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts, being an Unregistered Agent of a Foreign Principal, and conspiring to make false statements and conceal crimes against the United States; this same campaign manager has a long history of ties with Russian political operations. Several people involved with Trump’s campaign have already plead guilty to various charges. Family members are known to have had secret meetings with Putin intermediaries, and to have been very evasive about the reason. Trump received a $70 million loans via Deutsche Bank after defaulting on around $300 million that he already owed them—the same Deutsche Bank that has been implicated in a Russian money laundering scheme.

How many dots in a line to you need to connect before wondering about where the line is pointing?

July 13 — If this is a ‘witch hunt,’ it sure is finding a lot of witches

The indictment contains numerous intriguing details, including the fact that the Russian hacking of the emails of Clinton associates began on the same day that Trump publicly said, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 [Clinton] emails that are missing.”

We also learn from the indictments that “On or about August 15, 2016, the Conspirators, posing as Guccifer 2.0, received a request for stolen documents from a candidate for the U.S. Congress. The Conspirators responded using the Guccifer 2.0 persona and sent the candidate stolen documents related to the candidate’s opponent.” The candidate isn’t identified, but it sure will be interesting to learn who it was.

Yeah… Who could that candidate have been? There’s a little something Mueller knows that he isn’t yet revealing.

@Greg:

There is no evidence that Clinton’s server was ever successfully hacked. There is only evidence that five attempts to do so were successfully blocked.

Good Lord.

The GOP exposed far more sensitive information through their moronic efforts to obtain and publish Clinton’s work and personal emails than hackers ever did.

Such as? Hillary’s hacked emails revealed the names of operatives.

Did you happen to pause long enough during your happy dance to notice that NONE of that had ANYTHING to do with Trump, Russians, the campaign or collusion? Probably not and you are probably not smart enough to notice the difference. If leftist propaganda doesn’t tell you it’s so, you don’t know what the hell it is.

Also noteworthy is that Hillary’s cohorts, the Podesta’s, were engaged in the same activities, were also unregistered foreign lobbyists, but THEY were provided the opportunity to register after the fact. That’s how the laws are being applied differently, depending upon if they are connected to the Clinton’s (and protected by Obama) or can be used to try and damage Trump. Show. Theater. Witch hunt.

Thus far, after conducting illegal surveillance on Trump, planting spies in his campaign and conducting a year long PLUS investigation, you’ve got NOTHING showing Trump ever engaged in any kind of suspicious activity. In fact, there never has been ANYTHING to even RAISE suspicions other than some lies Hillary paid someone to assemble into a dossier.

How many dots in a line to you need to connect before wondering about where the line is pointing?

If there were even two dots to connect, they would have been long, long ago because NO ONE is in the DOJ and FBI running interference for Trump like they did for Hillary.

But, we KNOW Hillary illegally sent, received and stored classified State Department information on her secret, private, unsecured email server (which WAS hacked… numerous times by numerous parties), she obstructed justice, she committed perjury numerous times, she destroyed evidence and she was GROSSLY NEGLIGENT… the definition of a crime.

Oh, and WHY has she not been prosecuted? See Strzok; there were people in the government, paid by taxpayers, who felt it was their job to protect Hillary and see to it that she was the next President of the United States.

July 13 — If this is a ‘witch hunt,’ it sure is finding a lot of witches

Again, none of whom are named “Trump” or have any connection with him. Also interesting how thorough this investigation was since the DNC never allowed the FBI access to their server; if you recall, they turned it over to someone THEY PAID to conduct the evaluation and investigation. So, imagine how well THAT will go over in court… IF anyone is ever actually prosecuted. Hopefully, they won’t suffer the embarrassment Mueller did when one of HIS targets showed up in court and wanted to settle up. Nice.

@Deplorable Me: Its true there is no evidence because the FBI never ever investigated it.
Rosenstein just confirmed emails obtained through “spearfishing” email scam, which thousands of people including Republicans fell for. No wonder the DNC server was never examined by FBI. It was never actually hacked. This was a monumental lie by the Clinton campaign. A lie that they used for an excuse to start spying. The whole thing Mueller the whole thing based upon lies.
110 classified emails, should have 110 indictments.

There is no evidence that Clinton’s server was ever successfully hacked. There is only evidence that five attempts to do so were successfully blocked.

Good Lord.

No one ever cites proof Hillary’s private server was hacked because there’s none to cite. The FBI has stated as much. People have only speculated that this might have happened. No documents have ever surfaced that could only have been obtained from that server. They all came from other sources.

There seems to be some confusion about the fact that the Clinton family’s private family server was illegally accessed on one occasion by someone using the Tor hacking service. The Clinton family server was not the server in question.

@Greg:

No one ever cites proof Hillary’s private server was hacked because there’s none to cite. The FBI has stated as much.

You must never get tired of getting spanked.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/06/14/foreign-actors-accessed-hillary-clinton-emails-documents-show.html

Oh… you don’t understand much, so let me help you. “Accessed” means HACKED.

Relatedly, Fox News has obtained a May 2016 email from FBI investigator Peter Strzok — who also is criticized in the House memo for his anti-Trump texts with colleague Lisa Page. The email says that “we know foreign actors obtained access” to some Clinton emails, including at least one “secret” message “via compromises of the private email accounts” of Clinton staffers.

What? Who? You mean, Mr. Liberal Hero Strzok knew this all along and STILL declared Hillary innocent? Why, it’s almost as if he had some sort of BIAS guiding him all along!!

Oh, but maybe you’re right; maybe Hillary had SECRET emails on her family email also. I don’t see why sharing it with Chelsea so she can share it with all her buddies would be a problem. Do you?

Of course, there’s another likely possibility. Maybe she wasn’t hacked. Maybe she SOLD access to her emails. I’m sure a C-note would do it. That would keep her in wine for a night.

@Deplorable Me, #91:

You just posted a link to a New York Times article relating someone’s speculative opinion, and another to a misleading FOX News article that states “Foreign actors” obtained access to some of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, which does not mean they got them by way of hacking her server.

Do you understand what the word “evidence” means? Because what you linked to isn’t an example of it.

@Greg: Yeah, I did. So, yes indeed, Hillary’s emails were available to anyone that wanted to bother to get them. Easy-peezy. The classified information buffet.

Yes, I know what evidence is. Your comment is evidence that no matter WHAT the proof, you will deny the facts. Case closed.

@Greg: How about some evidence that Putin controls or directs Trump in any way whatsoever? The fact is, Obama was manipulated far more by Putin (Obama even allowed Putin to interfere with our elections, didn’t he?) and Hillary was absolutely on his payroll, so PLEASE provide, other than your warped perceptions and invalid opinions, provide the basis in fact that Trump serves Putin.

@Deplorable Me: Oh no not a meme rock solid proof, that and opinions of late night low ratings comedians. I guess we are defeated alas.

@Kitt: For a very long time the left has been operating without facts to back up any of their accusations. A meme makes just as good propaganda as anything else they utilize.

There are negotiations underway between Mueller and Giuliani for Trump to answer questions. If Mueller had any evidence of a crime committed by Trump, there would be no “negotiation”. He could COMPEL Trump to testify. Mueller has NOTHING and never will, as there IS nothing. Worse, they all knew it from the beginning.

The day will come when Mueller will reveal what he has discovered. Until then, you don’t have a clue what he does or doesn’t have.

What I have observed is that you’re far more likely to believe preposterous claims and accusations made by Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin than the carefully measured statements of the FBI, the DOJ, and our own intelligence community. Before the week is out, I strongly suspect Putin’s claim that Bill Browder made $400 million in Clinton contributions from his shady dealings in Russia will be bouncing all over the right wing echo box.

@Greg: You mean Brennen,Clapper and Comey who committed perjury those guys? Its a blessing the Presidents enemies bring a new level of stupid.

For a person that believes all of Hillary’s and Obama’s lies, how can you be so certain? There has yet to be a single shred of evidence to implicate Trump in ANYTHING. Nothing, in fact, to even raise suspicions, unless one is desperate for anything to cling to in order to have hope in the future of liberalism.

If the Russian connection was so clear and certain, why did the DNC deny the FBI access to their server? Then, why would the DOJ and FBI agree to take the word of a political operation the DNC hired to “analyze” the hack? Why does an “investigation” continue when every bit of its credibility is destroyed by the revelation of rampant and widespread bias and prejudice of the people Mueller hand-picked to carry it out? Obama has almost totally destroyed the credibility of any of the government agencies he tainted with his influence.

Curious that, regarding anything associated with collusion, Mueller only indicts people and organizations that will never see trial. Theater. Smoke. Mirrors.

Do you think this should be investigated? Some serious accusations here.
