Lot’s of crazy this week, so let’s get straight to it with two blasts from the past!

You’ve heard all of the knee jerk reactions, now we’ve got a few interesting points you probably haven’t seen yet. And here is a subtly optimistic look at what went wrong but the Republicans can correct.

I’m also going to predict one pitfall that Democrats will fall into as a result of the Virginia elections – they will take the lack of consequence from the over the top ads that they ran as a green light that they’re now clear to drop the mask and be honest about how much they hate the half of the country that didn’t vote as we were told. 2018 could easily become the “Basket of Deplorables 2.0” election.

The dollar amount is too low, but this is a tactic that is long overdue from our side

11/12 – Street Artist Sabo Crashes Anti-Trump Exhibition in L.A., Hoists Black Flag of MAGA

Sabo’s “F*** Zuck” (censorship mine) campaign got him booted from Facebook, but he’s someone every Conservative should follow.

11/13 – GQ’s Citizen of the Year: Colin Kaepernick

This took me back to 15 years ago, when like Kap today, I was an unemployed a**hole who needed to take a hard look at some bad career choices he had made. Back then this made you just another a**hole – now it gets you honored by GQ. We’ve come a long way!

And this goes back to my earlier point about not having to hide their contempt

11/14 – The Pattern of Violent Attacks on Republican Lawmakers

National Review’s Jim Geraghty nails it with a closing quote from a voice that has no place in today’s Democratic party:

We hear so many loud and angry voices in America today whose sole goal seems to be to try to keep some people as paranoid as possible and the rest of us all torn up and upset with each other. They spread hate. They leave the impression that — by their very words, that — violence is a acceptable. You ought to see — I’m sure you are now seeing the reports of some things that are regularly said over the airwaves in America today. It is time we all stood up and spoke against that kind of (pounding podium) reckless speech and behavior.

11/15 – THE LIBERAL CULT IN ACTION

No sooner do I note yesterday that GQ magazine has consistently disgraced itself with its choice of cover honorees (culminating in naming Colin Kaepernick its “Citizen of the Year”) than Marie Claire decided to say “Hold my beer” and offer up this tweet:

11/16 – “AL FRANKEN GROPED ME”

Ace: “Over to you, Mitch McConnell.” I’d also send it to the Democrats’ leadership, you know, the same ones who have been quiet about Menendez’s escapades with underage hookers.

11/17 – NBC Continues to Ignore Menendez Corruption Trial to Cover Trump Drinking Water

The media ignoring a Democratic Party scandal? It must be a day ending in a “Y”!
