The real collusion was between Hillary and the Russians. Putin needed Hillary to win

Wait, what? 755 US diplomats have been ordered to leave Russia:

Moscow (AFP) – President Vladimir Putin said 755 US diplomats must leave Russia and warned ties with Washington could be gridlocked for a long time, in a move Sunday that followed tough new American sanctions.

The Russian foreign ministry had earlier demanded Washington cut its diplomatic presence in Russia by September to 455 — the same number Moscow has in the US.

“More than a thousand people were working and are still working” at the US embassy and consulates, Putin said in an interview with Rossia-24 television.

“755 people must stop their activities in Russia.”

Putin added that an upturn in Russia’s relations with Washington could not be expected “any time soon”.

“We have waited long enough, hoping that the situation would perhaps change for the better,” he said.

“But it seems that even if the situation is changing, it’s not for any time soon.”

This is in response to new sanctions that will be imposed on Russia as punishment for its meddling in the US election- and Trump has signaled that he will sign it:

President Donald Trump intends to sign a bill passed by Congress this week that would impose new sanctions on Russia, the White House said Friday.

The bill was passed overwhelmingly in the Senate and House by veto-proof margins. It passed in the Senate on Thursday 98-2 and in the House on Tuesday by 419-3.

The bill targets Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and Syria, citing corruption, human rights abuses and weapons sales. The bill would also add sanctions against North Korea and Iran. The measure also includes a provision that would limit Trump’s authority to lift the sanctions unilaterally.

The White House said in a statement that Trump has reviewed the final version of the bill and “approves the bill and intends to sign it.”

This comes in addition to the sanctions Trump imposed on individuals and organizations that participated in Russia’s incursion into the Ukraine.

This all seems very odd for someone who is accused of colluding with Russia to get elected. Now let’s compare that to Barack Obama’s response to Russian meddling:

First, Obama expelled 35 Russian diplomats but only after the election.

Second, Obama told Putin to “Cut it out!”. Well, he says he did.

That’s some tough stuff. And it only came long after he learned of Russian meddling in 2015.

And let’s remember that Hillary and Bill Clinton were colluding with Russia to repeal the Magnitsky Act in return for cash. And let’s also remember that democrat donors were colluding with the Russians to fabricate a phony dossier on Trump:

What is the company hiding? Fusion GPS describes itself as a “research and strategic intelligence firm” founded by “three former Wall Street Journal investigative reporters.” But congressional sources say it’s actually an opposition-research group for Democrats, and the founders, who are more political activists than journalists, have a pro-Hillary Clinton, anti-Trump agenda.

“These weren’t mercenaries or hired guns,” a congressional source familiar with the dossier probe said. “These guys had a vested personal and ideological interest in smearing Trump and boosting Hillary’s chances of winning the White House.”

Fusion GPS was on the payroll of an unidentified Democratic ally of Clinton when it hired a long-retired British spy to dig up dirt on Trump. In 2012, Democrats hired Fusion GPS to uncover dirt on GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney. And in 2015, Democratic ally Planned Parenthood retained Fusion GPS to investigate pro-life activists protesting the abortion group.

Moreover, federal records show a key co-founder and partner in the firm was a Hillary Clinton donor and supporter of her presidential campaign.

In September 2016, while Fusion GPS was quietly shopping the dirty dossier on Trump around Washington, its co-founder and partner Peter R. Fritsch contributed at least $1,000 to the Hillary Victory Fund and the Hillary For America campaign, Federal Election Commission data show. His wife also donated money to Hillary’s campaign.

Property records show that in June 2016, as Clinton allies bankrolled Fusion GPS, Fritsch bought a six-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Bethesda, Md., for $2.3 million.

Fritsch did not respond to requests for comment. A lawyer for Fusion GPS said the firm’s work is confidential.

Christopher Steele is reported to have been paid $250,000 for his efforts. That Fusion GPS was acting as an unregistered agent of Russian interests has found no curiosity from the media:

The Fusion story has been known since Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sent a heavily-footnoted letter to the Justice Department on March 31, 2017 demanding for his Judiciary Committee all relevant documents on Fusion GPS, the company that managed the Steele dossier against then-candidate Donald Trump. Grassley writes to justify his demand for documents that: “The issue is of particular concern to the Committee given that when Fusion GPS reportedly was acting as an unregistered agent of Russian interests, it appears to have been simultaneously overseeing the creation of the unsubstantiated dossier of allegations of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians.” (Emphasis added.)

Fusion is also reported to have admitted that it was paid by the Russians:

“Fusion GPS was used against him and was used to lobby against the Act,” said Ryun. “The reason that Senate Judiciary wanted him to come in front of them and testify was to talk about some of Fusion GPS’s behavior.”

“There was some pretty staggering stuff that came out yesterday, Raheem. One was, Lindsey Graham asked him under oath, ‘Do you think that there were Russians involved in funding Fusion’s work?’ His response under oath was, in the spring and summer of 2016, they were receiving money indirectly from senior Russian government officials,” Ryun reported.

Kassam restated that Fusion GPS, a “Democrat-aligned group,” has now “admitted to receiving money from the Russians.”

“The thing that I want people to understand is, Fusion GPS calls itself an oppo research firm. They are a disinformation firm. Much of what they do is not based in reality or fact. They are hired guns to destroy the opponents of those that are paying Fusion money,” Ryun said.

“The second thing that I thought was staggering was when Chuck Grassley asked him, ‘Do you think that reporters were being paid money to push Fusion’s dossier and other lines of attack against them, regarding the Magnitsky Act?’” Ryun continued. “And he responded and said, ‘I am convinced that there are, in fact.’ He said, ‘There is one journalist that I am almost 100 percent convinced was receiving money because he was acting so far outside the bounds of journalistic ethics.’”

“It’s not only about these guys’ work with the fake Steele dossier and not filing as foreign agents while working on behalf of the Russian state and, again, being the genesis for this whole Trump-Russia collusion fairly tale,” he said.

And it gets better. Kimberly Strassel:

William Browder, a banker who has worked to expose Putin’s crimes, testified to the Grassley committee on Thursday that he was the target of a similar campaign, saying that Fusion “spread false information” about him and his efforts. Fusion has admitted it was hired by a law firm representing a Russian company called Prevezon, which also employed one of the Russian operators who were at Trump Tower last year. The other Russian who attended that meeting, Rinat Akhmetshin, is a former Soviet counter-intelligence officer. He has acknowledged in court documents that he makes his career out of opposition research, the same work Fusion does. And that he’s often hired by Kremlin-connected Russians to smear opponents. We know that at the exact time Fusion was working with the Russians, the firm had also hired former British spy Christopher Steele to dig up dirt on Trump. Steele compiled his material, according to his memos, based on allegations from unnamed Kremlin insiders and other Russians. Many of the claims sound eerily similar to the sort of “oppo” Akhmetshin peddled. We know that Simpson is tight with Demagogs. His current attorney, Joshua Levy, used to work in Congress as counsel to no less than Chuck Schumer. We know from a Grassley letter that Fusion has in the past sheltered its clients’ true identities by filtering money through law firms or shell companies (Bean LLC and Kernel LLC). Word is that Simpson has made clear he will appear for a voluntary committee interview only if he is not specifically asked who hired him to dig dirt on Trump. Demagogs are going to the mat for him over that demand. Those on the Judiciary Committee pointedly did not sign letters in which Grassley demanded that Fusion reveal who hired it. Here’s a thought: What if it was the DNC or Hillary Clinton’s campaign? What if that money flowed from a political entity on the left, to a private law firm, to Fusion, to a British spook, and then to Russian sources? Moreover, what if those Kremlin-tied sources already knew about this dirt-digging, tipped off by Akhmetshin? What if they specifically made up claims to dupe Steele, to trick him into writing this dossier? Fusion GPS, in an email, said that it “did not spread false information about William Browder.”

You’ll recall that Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 by Prevezon, the company that Sergei Magnitsky was investigating and which eventually got him dead. Trump Jr. was lured into a trap to paper this over and further distract from the truth. That would explain how Natalia Veselnitskaya cruises around democrat circles so fluidly.

The real story here is that the Russians and democrats were in bed together. Vladimir Putin wanted Hillary Clinton to win the election so she could repeal the Magnitsky Act. Hillary would have been Putin’s puppet. She already was far more pliable than was Trump as she and her husband gleefully took Russian cash. Hillary was against the Magnitsky Act (which Putin absolutely hates) at the very same time her husband was pulling down half a million from the company Sergei Magnitsky blew the whistle on:

The Russian lawyer who landed a meeting with Donald Trump Jr. during last year’s presidential campaign with the promise of dirt on Hillary Clinton had one big thing in common with the Democratic candidate: Both had opposed Russia sanctions targeting human-rights abusers.

Further, former Secretary of State Clinton’s initial opposition coincided with a $500,000 speech her husband gave in Moscow – a link her 2016 campaign fought to downplay in the press, according to WikiLeaks-released documents.
