Mothaf***a Please! obama said slaves were immigrants too!

The other day Ben Carson likened slaves to immigrants.

After talking about how America is a “can-do society” and not a “what can you do for me society,” Carson then referred to slaves as immigrants.

“That’s what America is about,” Carson said. “A land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less.”

The retired neurosurgeon went on to say that they had dreams to that their children and grandchildren may one day have the opportunity to “pursue prosperity.”

For that, he was (and continues to be) ridiculed.

The inimitable Whoopi Goldberg

Andy Borowitz:

At a press conference on Tuesday morning, Ben Carson, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, told reporters that people who are pushed out of windows are “extremely lucky” because they get “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly through the air.”

And then there was Samuel L. Jackson

The outrage is truly impressive. How many times have I said it?

You can’t spell liberal without the letters H  Y  P  O  C R  I  S  Y.

You see, waaaay back in December of 2015, barack obama said this:

Certainly, it wasn’t easy for those of African heritage who had not come here voluntarily and yet in their own way were immigrants themselves. There was discrimination and hardship and poverty. But, like you, they no doubt found inspiration in all those who had come before them. And they were able to muster faith that, here in America, they might build a better life and give their children something more.

Carson said this:

That’s what America is about, a land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters, might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.

Where was this fury when obama said nearly the same thing?

Mothaf***a Please!

Now, the question is, why didn’t they get all hot and bothered when obama said it? I think there a couple of reasons. One, they are such obama sycophants that there’s nothing obama could say that would arouse outrage in imbeciles like Samuel L. Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg. Second, the members of the obama media (like over at Mediaite and HuffPoo)  didn’t blast it all over their front pages because it was uttered by their “god of all things.” Carson is the idiot, obama is still god. It kind of proves everything Trump says about the media.

Mothaf***a Please!

So, Carson plagiarized President Barack Obama.

Screw Obama and his entire cabinet they were the worst of all american had to deal with besides these mobs of pavment apes running loose the university brownshirts using pepperspray on senior citizens and glorified street thugs and the fithy anarcists trying to ruin this nation and turn america intoa communists hell hole with unregulated imagration without any imunizations at all

“How did he miss that no slave came to this country willingly?”
Many did. But they were primarily white, so in Whoopie-World, they don’t count.
They were called “indentured servants”, and yes, they were indeed slaves.
In fact, many were treated worse than slaves, because there were fewer laws to protect them.

@Petercat:

That part of History is inconsequential, it does not fit their present day narrative of oppression and abuse by a privileged white majority.Just like the history forgotton of the real democrat party……..                                                                                                                            The party of slavery, the klan, Jim Crow laws, blocking school house doors to blacks and on and on and on….

Once again Obama proves why he was the worst presidents in america ever just a typical liberal all mouth and no mind

@PhillipMarlowe: Yeah, that’s it. Because when Lord Obama uses a word like “immigrant” or “the” he instantly acqires copyright on that word and it is his.

The first thing for anyone to do is look up “immigrant”.

A person that migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence.

It doesn’t say if it was their idea or if they were lured somewhere to illegally vote for America-hating idiots. They just move from there to here… for good.

@Bill: Bill, you didn’t read DrJohn very well.
According to DrJohn, Dr Ben Carson made the same point as President Obama.
I.e., he plagarised President Obama.

@PhillipMarlowe: So, if Obama says rain is wet, any time anyone else makes that point is “plagiarizing” Obama? That’s an interesting point of view.

to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one’s own

NO ONE wants to “steal” any of Obama’s “ideas”; they are all worthless. However, by the definition of immigration, this is simply a fact. Obama cannot claim a “fact” as his own. In fact, he has been pretty consistently anti-fact.

But, how about your view on the left getting their bowels in an uproar over Carson making the same point Obama did? Isn’t that more abject left wing hypocrisy?

@DrJohn: @DrJohn: You really do not read very well or comprehend very well, DrJohn.
Your federalist link shows Obama made his comments in 2011, before the book.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, son, I can not believe you typed that.

From all this, I take it you, Carson, Obama and Federalist think slaves are like immigrants.

Get the audio version of The Middle Passage.
And listen.

@PhillipMarlowe:

From all this, I take it you, Carson, Obama and Federalist think slaves are like immigrants.

They weren’t LIKE immigrants… they WERE immigrants.

@Bill- Deplorable Me: Dear God, what is it like in your funny little brains? It must be so boring!

@PhillipMarlowe: Have you ever bothered to find the meaning of the words you don’t understand or are you merely satisfied with assigning your own meaning to them and thinking that is sufficient?

@Bill… Deplorable Me: Again, what we see here, like in the Hitler post, is the attempt to minimize the horror of crimes against humanity (e.g., slavery, Nazi Final Solution) by choosing less offensive, less accurately descriptive words.
Similar to the phrase “War of Northern Aggression.”

@PhillipMarlowe: Nothing is minimized but your intellect. In both cases you expose your bigotry and ignorance by over-criticizing someone that is absolutely accurate.
