Why was it necessary for Hillary to go to such desperate lengths to delete yoga routines and wedding plans?

The FBI is now in possession of Hillary Clinton’s private email server. Let us be clear- she did not “hand” it over as is widely reported. The FBI took it. It is suggested that the sever may cough up more than just the emails. We shall see.

What did she claim was on that server? What was it she deleted?

Clinton said she “chose not to keep” the messages and said she expected people would understand her need for “privacy.”

“We went through a thorough process to identify all of my work-related emails and deliver them to the State Department,” she said. “At the end, I chose not to keep my private, personal emails. Emails about planning Chelsea’s wedding or my mother’s funeral arrangements. Condolence notes to friends, as well as yoga routines, family vacations: the other things you typically find in inboxes.

It’s not clear whether Team Clinton actually opened and read all the deleted emails:

Time didn’t disclose how it determined that each email wasn’t opened individually, but says it seemed to be consistent with a written explanation provided by Clinton’s spokesman after the news conference this week. During the news conference, Clinton did not go into the details of how the review was conducted, but said it was “thorough” and that she went “above and beyond” what she was required to do in turning over many of her emails to the State Department.

It is a Clintonian axiom that scandals are mocked, belittled and delayed as a means of keeping them at bay. This is no different. Clinton signaled that she plans to entertain no questions about this mess:

“Here’s what I won’t do: I won’t get down in the mud with them … or dishonor the memories of those who died. I don’t pretend this isn’t about politics.”

This is the same woman who stood over the bodies of the Benghazi dead and lied to their families about a video. She also said she would not hand over the server until the FBI came knocking. I will bet she’ll start taking questions once the noose tightens just as she started allowing the bourgeois to approach her as her polls began to erode.

With each day Clinton takes on a more Nixonesque appearance:

The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward laid it out Monday: “You’ve got a massive amount of data. It, in a way, reminds me of the Nixon tapes: thousands of hours of secretly recorded conversations that Nixon thought were exclusively his.”

The server handed over to the FBI was professionally “wiped.”

Anyone with half a brain needs to ask: Why would someone want or need so desperately to destroy every binary shred of evidence about yoga routines and wedding plans?

It doesn’t add up.

There’s much more to this. I would wager a lot of money that it has to do with Clinton handing out favors courtesy of the United States in return for cash donations to the Clinton Foundation. I hope the forensic analysis will be fruitful.

She knew doing this was wrong.

People usually pay for yoga routines.
And, they don’t go bad.
So, if they were tailored for Hillary, why would she ever delete them at all?
And condolence notes?
You’d think you’d keep them forever.
But erasing them over & over until the server is blank?
Seems a bit of overkill if only innocent stuff was on there.
Sadly, her top secret and classified stuff was not encrypted, like gov’t computers would have done.
Any hacker could have seen them all.
And we get hacked constantly.

Pretty clear to me…the thirty thousand deleted emails would give us a window into the corruption of the Clintons. How did they accumulate a hundred forty million dollars since leaving the WH?

By way of their celebrity, connections, and capitalism. Their celebrity has allowed them to bring in enormous fees for a continuously full schedule of speaking engagements; their connections have provided them with unusually good access to investment opportunities. That’s how things can work for the top 1 percent of the population, which the Clintons are most definitely a part of.

@Greg: “Investments” like becoming Secretary of State. She made a killing on that.

Since Hillary decided to preemptively wipe out her server, anyone that wishes to is free to speculate whatever their suspicions allow. Hillary created that, for sure.

Recall how she, as First Lady, handled FBI files she wasn’t even supposed to have; left them laying around the residence. When given access to the nation’s secrets, she was no more careful.

Why would someone with nothing to hide wipe her servers clean? We know the answer. Based on the highly classified information found ( TS and compartmented SI and TK) on her computer/ server and the fact they were “hacked” by China, Iran amd Russia ( and who knows what other country) she has aided and abetted the enemy all the while knowing what she was doing was illegal is called treason. The woman is NOT above the law. She broke the law, she committed treason and she belongsin jail for a very long time. Bill has already been sucking up to obama on the golf course begging to pardon his wife

I am sick and tired of these damn lying, deceiving politicians. I am tired of Americans being placed second behind illegals. I want my country back.

@Greg:

The sweet part is, by wiping the server, Hillary opens herself up to charges under RICO. Had she left it alone, there may have been some way she could wriggle; now, she’s been caught destroying evidence in a Federal Criminal investigation.

There is no federal criminal investigation.

There is no federal criminal investigation

Somehow, I get a picture of you with your eyes scrunched shut, your fingers buried in your ears and you stamping your foot while you repeatedly exclaim this, in between “La-la-las.”

That, or you’re hiding in bed, with your covers pulled-up over your head; God forbid you’re cowering under the bed or in the back of your closet, behind the box with your winter snow suit and tethered mittens.

Let’s see, the FBI does what with a wayward computer server, again? Inspect it for electrical safety? No, that’s rated by UL and enforced by OSHA. Measure it’s excess RFI leakage? Nah, that’s a FCC matter.

Oh, right, they are the FEDERAL Bureau of INVESTIGATION; the highest agency in the fighting crime business in America. If they have an investigation, they are looking at criminal behavior. I think you’re confusing the FBI with the greater DOJ, which is wholly a political operation, these days.

I’ll believe the FBI is conducting a criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton the moment the FBI makes an official announcement that they’re conducting a criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton. Until then, I’ll keep my hip boots on while wading through the butt-deep layer of horse manure the right-wing scandal mongers are spreading. The truth of the matter is that they don’t have enough verified facts yet to cover the back of a postage stamp.

Being absolutely certain of something based on so little is an indicator of appalling gullibility. It’s no wonder that a reality TV host is on the verge of selling republican voters the Brooklyn bridge. You won’t find me complaining about that, however. If it doesn’t smooth Hillary Clinton’s road to the White House, it will likely clear the way for Joe Biden.

@Greg: Yeah, I see your point, Greg. When the Texas Rangers lost the World Series in game 7, 2011, I had to watch that final play over and over and over to finally accept that, while they had the game in the bag, they lost it. No matter how much I denied that reality, they lost.

Better start socking in some comfort food and liquor, Greg. You are going to reach the realization soon that everything being accused of Hillary is, in fact, true and she is toast. Lying, corrupt toast. Had the game in the bag and blew it.

While driving on the Canadian side of the border, the only political radio station I could receive was Stephan Colbert. I listened to the Liberal apologist for Hillary explain why her missing emails were a non-issue.

Colbert insists that all the Secretaries of State have used private servers. That her private emails are private and she has the right to dispose of them, because they were hers. He insists that there is no problem with the private server because everyone in government is using private servers for their personal emails. He, like Hillary, claims that the whole investigation is politically motivated.

Sometimes it is best to listen to the Liberal cheerleaders to hear talking points being handed out to millions of Liberals who have the forlorn hope that Hillary isn’t facing prosecution. I hope the investigation drags on for a year to more and she refuses to let go of her dream of power, until they arrest her.

@Greg: And you believed Obola when he said you can keep your health insurance and/or doctor period, you believe Benghazi was caused by an English speaking video, you believed Reid when he said Romney cheated on his tax returns with NO proof, and you likely believed Slick when he said he never had sex with Monica. Yet you won’t even think of looking at what Hilldabeast is doing as wrong!! Pathetic and zero credibility Greggy!!

@Skookum: he is wrong. It is a federal law. Any other federal employee would have already been arrested and going to jail. She has committed treason. – yes aiding and abetting the enemy is treason.

@Greg: I do my best not to bash the writer but I have to wonder about your loyalties to this country. This woman had TS SI and TK informations on her servers. At one time I had both those compartmented clearances and this is serious. I guess not until something is dropped on your neighborhood will you come back to reality.

@Bill, #11:

After nearly 7 years of bullshit on everything from Benghazi to light bulbs, why should anyone suddenly start believing what the right has to say about Hillary Clinton?

My requirements for believing politically self-serving accusations from the right are quite modest: All I require is evidence. Let me know when you actually have some.

@Skookum, #12:

Until recently it has been common practice for public officials to use non-governmental email accounts and channels for at least some of their official correspondence. The George W Bush administration routinely did so, using a private server owned by the Republican National Committee; throughout his eight years as governor of Florida, Jeb Bush conducted most of his official business from an email account on his own private server; Governor Scott Walker conducted official business through his own private email account; so did Chris Cristie, Marco Rubio, and Bobby Jindal. No one gave the matter much thought.

In the federal government, it didn’t become mandatory to transfer personal email accounts and content to government servers until 2014, after Clinton had already left office.

@Greg: Greggie, what evidence did you provide when you where certain Romney cheated on his tax return as Reid said on the floor of the Senate?? Your evidence BS is laughable!!

@Greg: Because it is the truth. Tell us what has been reported that is false.

@Common Sense, #18:

Thanks for reminding me: Mitt Romney used a Microsoft Hotmail account and a private email address for virtually all campaign-related correspondence. He also ordered that huge volumes of official government correspondence relating to his term as governor be purged from all Massachusetts state government computers and servers. This is from the linked article, which appeared this past March in Business Insider:

The private email accounts raise questions about why Romney and his aides sometimes bypassed Massachusetts’ official communications system — and how many of those emails remain and whether they could be disclosed to the public. Late last year, Romney acknowledged that near the end of his governor’s term in 2007 he approved a sweeping purge of executive emails from the state government’s computer servers, and the removal of top aides’ hard drives and computers. Romney justified the purge as legal, prompted by privacy worries.

That’s a hell of a lot more than Hillary Clinton did. She only deleted her personal correspondence, and was entirely within the law at the time when she did so.

@Greg: Greggie Greggie Greggie, I asked for proof he cheated on his 2010 tax returns which you where so willing to believe because Slimy Harry Reid accused him of it and you said it must be true. I have asked you for proof but to date you have provided ZERO.

@Greg: They didn’t keep Top Secret information on them, did they? They didn’t get hacked, did they?

@Common Sense, #21:

…you said it must be true

No, what I said was that Romney could easily prove Harry Reid wrong simply by releasing as many years of back tax returns as his opponent had done. This he refused to do.

The most probable reason is that he made out like a bandit during the worst recession since the Great Depression while many less fortunate Americans were struggling to stay above water, and that the tax loopholes he used to pay such a small percentage of taxes on his spoils would make the average American voter angry enough to spit nails, even though completely legal. The scandalous aspect would be the fact that it all was perfectly legal. The little guy doesn’t get such preferential treatment.

@Bill, #22:

They didn’t keep Top Secret information on them, did they? They didn’t get hacked, did they?

It hasn’t been established that Hillary Clinton had Top Secret information on her server, nor has it been established that her server was hacked by anyone.

How do you know what was on any of the other servers mentioned? How do you know what was on Romney’s server? He had not only it purged of his records, but also all Massachusetts state government servers and hard drives. That comprehensive purge of state government correspondence from state government computers hasn’t even caused a raised eyebrow on the right.

@Greg: NO proof as I expected, you make accusations without proof!! Romney prospered therefore he cheated on his taxes?? Slimy Harry Accused him of cheating and therefore he should release his tax statements?? NO proof there Greggie. Romney said he would release his tax statement if Obola released his college transcripts, don’t remember Obola doing that do you??

@Greg: If Romney had only released ONE year of returns showing he paid taxes it would prove Reid a liar (as if, like with Hillary, further proof was necessary); he released 5. And Romney paid millions in income taxes. So, is Reid a definite liar?

And, Hillary indeed had Top Secret Intel on her server.

Are you aware that the 2012 election is over?

It hasn’t been established that Clinton had any Top Secret information on her server.

One of the four instances the intelligence community IG cited turns out to involve a document that was previously declassified and released to the general public. They should be more careful about their claims.

@Greg: You do realize that 2010 election and the 2014 elections are over as well. You do realize that sense Obola became President Democrats have lost the House (in historic fashion) in 2010 and took the Senate in 2014. You do realize that 2016 there is another election and Hilldabeast is the best the Democrats can do??

“Gall dang long-haired hippies. They’ll never amount to anything.” 42+45? That remains to be seen.

While the department is now stamping a few dozen of the publicly released emails as “Classified,” the details included in those “Classified” stamps — which include a string of dates, letters and numbers describing the nature of the classification — appear to indicate that some of Clinton’s emails from her time as the nation’s most senior diplomat are filled with a type of information the U.S. government and the department’s own regulations automatically deems classified from the get-go — regardless of whether it is already marked that way or not.

This sort of information, which the department says Clinton both sent and received in her emails, is the only kind that must be “presumed” classified, in part to protect national security and the integrity of diplomatic interactions, according to U.S. regulations examined by Reuters.

It’s born classified,” said J. William Leonard, a former director of the U.S. government’s Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO).”

I just want the bumper sticker!

I not only read the article; I understood what I read.

Greg, you seem incapable of understanding anything, much less the written word. You describe legitimate inquiries into the attack on our consulate in Benghazi as “bulllshit? Four dead, including our ambassador, officially, demonstrably falsely and laughably blamed by the administration on a youtube video nobody had seen, and declare any scrutiny to be “bullshit”?

I’d love to see the color of the sky in the parallel universe you inhabit. For the rest of us, Madame Secretary’s personal email server through which it strains credulity that official, national security sensitive and secret information, (to repeat the Secretary of state’s stock in trade) did not pass is of profound interest.

Keep deflecting, though. It is fun to watch the shapes into which those who have marinated in the Clinton Kool-Aid are willing to twist themselves and the truth.

@Greg:

Law enforcement ALWAYS makes a public statement when they begin an investigation, don’t they? Your assertion is weapons-grade stupid!
