And then, without warning, Obama finds himself impotent. It struck without warning. He’s gone limp.

The guy who was boldly going where no Congress would go with him. The guy who was going it alone. The guy who is going to “Let it rip.” has inexplicably and suddenly found himself completely impotent. All of a sudden he can’t act alone. He can’t stop the invasion. The guy who ignores all the laws he that don’t suit him decides not to protect our borders.
Make no mistake. We are being held hostage. We are being threatened.
Obama has issued a warning to this country that we must give him what he wants. Or else. In reply to an amnesty activist heckling him Obama said ‘I’m on your side, man!.’
Obama proved that he is the liar many of us said he is. He warns us that he is going to take off his mask:
“I don’t have to run for office anymore, so I can just let it rip,”
The guy who has spent his entire life mocking the GOP and anyone in his opposition is now going to “let it rip.”
As if he hasn’t been doing that the entire time he’s been in office.
Obama claims he’s impotent to act without action from Congress. The brain dead (that is to say, Obama voters) do not understand that the $3.7 billion of taxpayer money Obama is demanding has virtually nothing in it for border security. The money goes primarily to housing, food and legal representation for the invaders- to help them fight deportation.
Meanwhile, Mexico and Guatemala are working together with Obama to smooth the illegal invasion. The latino MS-13 gang is reportedly actively recruiting more members from the ranks of the illegal invaders.
For all his bloviating, he has not once demanded that Central American countries stop the migration of illegals north. That would cost nothing. Obama has, as Rich Lowry states, created his own “man-caused disaster”:
The White House brushes off criticism that Obama is avoiding the border as mere “optics,” in contrast to its highly substantive focus. But it is still not taking the crisis seriously.
In a letter to Texas governor Rick Perry, White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett downgraded the erstwhile “humanitarian crisis” on the border (the president’s words) to an “urgent humanitarian situation.” When pressed on the shift in verbiage, ever-judicious White House press secretary Josh Earnest explained that it is both a crisis and a situation. Yes, it’s that bad.
It’s gotten so bad that even Peggy Noonan sees the Machiavellian calculus:

Obama spent time in Texas raising money for the DNC, drinking beer and playing pool while dodging responsibility at the border. He spoke to what was described as “an adoring crowd” in Austin, the liberal bastion in an otherwise sensible state. Looking for adoration among illegal aliens and amnesty activists may be useful for pleasuring one’s ego, but it is not governing. It is campaigning. Obama has never been much good at governing.

I have no printable words to express my contempt for Caliph Zippy.
He is using children as human shields. And he is being applauded for this atrocity.
This conduct is the sickest, most despicable, most contemptible behavior imaginable.

There is no upside to this mess on the border, and that’s why he’s seeking the political cover. If the House and Senate were to pass his request and the situation worsens, he can blame them for not passing what he exactly wanted.

@This one: Unlike Perry…who is an adult who takes responsibility for his actions…Obama is a teenager. I’ve worked with teens for many years, I see the same sense of immature entitlement in our POTUS. With him it’s all about “me”…he has little sense of being in others’ shoes. Last night he gave a twenty minute speech in which he used the first person singular 199 times. Enough said.

Senator Robert Menendez and Democratic Representative Luis Gutierrez said U.S. lawmakers in the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Wednesday held a “very testy meeting” with diplomats from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.
During that meeting this was said:
“As long as (U.S.) immigration reform is not approved, the exodus of children to the United States will continue,” Jorge Ramon Hernandez, the senior representative of Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, said at the talks.
Obama has created this disaster for his own political purposes.
He then has the gall to accuse Republicans of being political as opposed to humanitarian when they do not go along with his way the spigot can be turned off.
There are always other ways to solve problems.
This is the Children’s Crusade.
It can be stopped, but Obama is going to have to stop pretending.

Let’s take a look at a little history, shall we?
In July, 2009, just six short months after Obama took office, Honduras, acting in accordance with the Honduran constitution and with the approval of its Supreme Court, ousted its Chavez wannbe, President Zelaya. The first reaction by the Obama and SoS Hillary Clinton was to demand that Honduras reinstate Zelaya, this as Zelaya boarded Hugo Chavez’ personal plane for Venezuela.
When Honduras refused to comply with the Obama administration demands, Obama threatened to cease all foreign aid to Honduras. Honduras stood its ground, its Congress appointed an interim president and held elections before the year was out, electing a new president. This was the first foreign policy action on the part of a new U.S. administration, and it bombed.
In 2012, while Obama was using his pen and phone to grant what is basically amnesty to “Dreamers”, bypassing Congressional authority to create immigration laws because the Dream Act was not passed. At the same time, two other things happened: Obama pulled the remaining National Guard from the border that had been placed there by President Bush and the Department of Agriculture started paying for ads, on billboards and on Mexico radio, for the U.S. food stamp program.
Why are these things important? Because 2012 was the pivotal year that saw a huge increase in UACs entering the United States. And what was Mexico’s reaction? To recently create a policy with Honduras, and other Central American nations to allow passage for their citizens thru Mexico on the trek to El Norte. This achieves two things; Mexico is not saddled with the illegals, having them settle in Mexican towns and requiring care (which they would not get anyway) and Honduras is enjoying payback for Obama’s failed policy, and demands, of Honduras in 2009.
Obama’s foreign policy mistakes will continue to have far reaching ramifications as has been shown by his demands on Honduras five years ago this month.
