How Obama Enabled The Russian Seizure Of Eastern Europe

Our president promised us skyrocketing energy prices and a new era of “Green Energy”. So far, he has been able to deliver an ever-increasing price for energy, and with the crisis in Eastern Europe, we can anticipate a continuing rise in energy prices. In an administration known almost exclusively for corruption and for its ability to lie, it is at least reassuring to see a “smidgen” of truthfulness.

However, it’s Obama’s combination of national self-defeatism as an energy policy and of enabling our enemies that has become more bizarre with the passage of time. His refusal to allow drilling on public lands prevents Americans from participating in the current energy bonanza and allows the Communist countries to accumulate the energy wealth. Our sanctions are impotent compared to the power that could be exerted by increasing our natural gas exports to Europe, natural gas that is still under the ground. Thus America’s once-great wealth and political leverage (of the type needed to slow down the military might of Russia) is being pissed-away while Obama looks through the rose-tinted glasses of green energy idealism, or is their a more sinister reason for this destruction of America’s economy and the granting of untold wealth for our former enemies who are now once-again assuming the stance of belligerents.

NATO-satellite-images

Russia provides natural gas to Europe, it is a main source of Russia’s wealth and helps finance these military excursions into Europe. When you control one of the main sources of a continent’s energy you have the edge, especially when winter is only six months away and the world has just experienced a record cold winter, there is an obvious advantage over people. The Europeans don’t want to think about Russia shutting of their natural gas during these winters if global warming’s discontent. If only we would have sacrificed more of our energy production to the world and let Russia and China control even more energy wealth, we would not be experiencing these drastic global warming winters.

When Obama promised the Russians a greater flexibility after the 2012 elections, his energy policy was already in place.

The same energy policy that gives Russia the upper hand by controlling Europe’s major source of natural gas. If we were exporting our untapped natural gas reserves instead of broiling birds in mid-air, we would have a means of controlling the threat of Russia’s domination of Europe; since, natural gas export is one of Russia’s main revenue producing sources. Thus our sacrificial willingness to impair our economy and allow the Russians to reap the bounty of America’s stupidity, is facilitating Russia’s annexation of Eastern Europe in the name of saving the world from Anthropogenic Global Warming. Unfortunately, Obama’s plan does nothing for the cause of global warming, but it does redistribute America’s wealth to our enemies, the same enemies who once respected us as a formidable power in the world.

Now, while our leaders agonize over issues like gay marriage and amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, our president assures us that his sanctions will make Russia come to its senses and pull back the tanks, jets, and troops massed on the Eastern border of Europe. Yet, Russia knows our fiscal resources are drained, our military is reduced and focused on gay equality, and Americans are war weary after winning two wars and having Obama piss-away hard fought victories. They also know, Obama has promised them a greater flexibility in regard to their nationalistic endeavors. The road to Russian supremacy has been cleared by our regime; they would be stupid not to exploit the opportunity of Obama’s passivity and weakness.

While China builds its carriers, we wait for their nationalistic desires to become apparent. Hopefully, by then, we will have appeased the gay community and arranged for our children to be indoctrinated by gay promotion throughout their education, and we can finally say, we no longer care if Democrats vote for dead people and it is discriminatory against those who commit voter fraud to be required to show a voter ID; perhaps then, we can prepare for WW III, the inevitable war that is just beyond the horizon.

@Rich Wheeler:

LBJ kept upping the ante with troops and money.

Selective memory. He also stopped the bombing of N. Viet Nam in Mar 68, basically giving up trying to stop the penetration of the North into the South. LBJ decided he had screwed it all up so badly, he threw in the towel.

Nixon pulled us out–apparently was afraid to bomb Hanoi–he was CIC.

Actually it was the peaceniks that pulled us out and the Dimocrats in congress. Remember they cut the funding for the war, which caused Nixon to have to withdraw forces. In fact, that is what caused the fall of Saigon, when the Dimocrats withheld ‘all’ funding for continuing. This was mostly a reaction to Watergate and the Dims knowing they could add to the misery in the country. You can try to blame the Repubs or Nixon, but look to the Dims that were in congress at the time. That’s where the traitors were.

A number of liberal Democrats started in the mid-1960s as some of the most vocal critics of escalation in Vietnam; by the early 1970s they were wielding the power of the purse

You do note that Nixon took over in Jan 1969, that’s when the Dims started to cut funding.

Sixty-one percent of respondents in the poll released Thursday said Obama lies at least some of the time on important issues. An additional 20 percent said he lies every now and then.

Only 15 percent believe the president is completely truthful.

I think he always lies about every thing. Some of it is clearly out of ignorance, most is planned.

Listen to the words of Larry Grathwohl who infiltrated President Obama’s colleagues.

I didn’t have to listen to OTHER PEOPLE’S words to come to my conclusion. I only had to listen to obama while he was running for the democratic nomination BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED THE FIRST TIME.

Keep in mind that he wasn’t president yet, and he is telling us that he wants a civilian force that can defeat the military. We have the National Guard for national emergencies, but the president can’t activate it. Each governor has to. obama wants a force that he can call up at any time, and he wants it to be able to defeat the military.

On one of the Fox News shows the reporter said that there were SWAT teams there from one of the agencies that were there. He said that he didn’t know they had any. If an agency needed a SWAT team, they called the FBI. Now, agencies that never had enforcement officers have them, including one that has only five full-time officers.

I guarantee that whatever university you live near, it will have regular public speakers espousing the benefits of socialism and communism.

I haven’t been to any campuses, but I have seen videos and read article of just what you said. Many professors have asked their students to write an essay about someone they like, but if they say anything positive about George Bush, or Jesus, or other famous person who had a positive impact on the country, they would get an F. They told them these things right in class. Some of the comments were recorded by students, and the professors aren’t fired.

None of this has been about placing the most competent individual in the Oval Office.

It was the exact opposite. How to get an illegal who can’t talk intelligently without reading from a speech elected to the presidency. I give them credit for accomplishing the almost impossible.

I also cringe when I see people like Chritie and Bush leading in the polls on the Rep side for 2016. . . . Sigh.

And people wonder why I don’t belong to any party. I will give to a politician, but not to a party, but I read where the politician still has to give part of the money they raise on their own to the party.

@Rich Wheeler:

Thank you for your service, Rich. I cannot imagine the hell US troops.went through in Vietnam.

Under Bush we were providing medical care to locals in Iraq when I was last there in 2005. In talking to my colleagues who deployed to Afghanistan under Bush, they were encouraged to provide care to the locals. Frankly, when I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011, I was shocked when I was told by the PA from the unit we relieved that we were not to provide medical care to the locals, per theater policies. When I later met with my squadron commander that evening I informed him of my intention to ignore that policy, and explained why. Thankfully, he agreed and supported my decision for the entire.deployment, even bringing in Afghans on a few occasions who needed medical care, and defending my actions to the brigade commander when higher learned halfway thru the deployment that I was violating that policy.

We were co-stationed with an Afghan infantry brigade. There guards had a habit of refusing to let locals who were coming for medical care from entering the base when we first moved in, I assume because they had been instructed to do so based on the US policy. I found out the third day I was there. I went to the Afghan army commander and “politely” informed him that I would not be providing any medical care to any of his soldiers so long as they refused to allow local civilians….his countrymen…to come to my medical clinic.

He changed the policy for his troops, and we ended up treating more Afghans than US soldiers for the rest of the deployment. He also sent his brigade medical officer (2 years of training in Pakistan as a pharmacist) to work in my clinic so he could learn some basic medicine and surgical techniques. Honestly, I was never more proud of my country than when I watched my medics work so hard training Afghan soldiers on combat field medicine, and when they worked with me helping Afghan children brought in from various types of trauma and disease. Very humbling, and very rewarding.

All our political and policy disagreements aside, Mr. Wheeler, know that I am tipping back an 18 year old MacAllen in honor of your Vietnam service. Semper Fi.

@Pete: Thank you Colonel. Don’t recognize what your drinking but it sounds good and I’ll pop a Heineken in your honor.What you did in Afghanistan, treating the local people, did more for the war effort and the image of our great Country than all the drones combined. I salute you.
Semper Fi

@Rich Wheeler:

I hope you enjoyed your beer as much as I enjoyed my single malt scotch. Thank you for your kind words.

On an amusing note you might appreciate…both of my brothers enlisted. One went navy and the other became a marine. They didn’t want to join the army because they didn’t want to get assigned to my base and risk the chance they’d have to salute me. LOL. Funny thing is, all three of us ended up in Iraq for Desert Storm anyway. You can imagine the good natured interservice rivalry when we all get together.

Pete
what a great story, I “m not surprise of your gift to do the right thing,
that”s why the commanders gave you the okay , they knew you where a top leader
no matter the rank, stood out and made the difference,
best to your family of braves, so highly special, and the 3 of you ,
could run and take this AMERICA AT THE RIGHT PLACE WHERE SHE BELONG,
forever free and put the haters out, and remove any control they have and abuse now, AND SINCE THEY ARE THERE,
PICKING ON PEOPLE THE GOOD AMERICANS, WHILE THEY LET ANY SCUM SNEAK IN THIS COUNTRY,
YOUR COMMENTS DEMONSTRATED THAT YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKE, AND THIS TIME IT’S YOUR COUNTRY WHICH NEED YOU,
DESPERATLY, WITH ALL THE BEST OF THIS NATION,

@Pete: Those family reunions gotta be fun. Your mom and dad must be proud of you guys. Did he serve? My dad was Navy JAG. WW2 when I was born in Fla. Didn’t understand my decision to join the Marines but certainly respected it.
My Dem. and Marine roots go back to 1961 when a young Irish/American said “Ask not——–“. Joined Marine PLC program 2 years later while in college.
Pete, I have never believed that Dems. are less patriotic than the GOP. I served with Marine infantry officers Chuck Robb and good friend Jim Webb–Va. Sen and a true hero.
I highly respect your chosen profession and am impacted by your posts. I do miss the Conservative voices of Mata, and Aye Chi. Blessed Easter RW

Bee and Rich,

Thanks for the kind words. And a blessed Easter to you both.

My dad didn’t serve, but multiple other relatives have and still are.

And just so you know, Rich, I don’t believe rank and file Americans are unpatriotic, even if they call themselves democrats. It is the elitists like Reid, Pelosi, Clinton, Obama, Schumer and tbeir ilk that are so corrupt…and I am not so naive to think that all republicans are unaffected by corruption either. But I prefer to state plainly that which I believe to be right, morale, and in line with the intent of the Founding Fathers. The ultimate goal of serving the cause of good, and leaving my country in a better condition for my own, and everyone elses, children….that is what drives my passion on these posts.

@Pete: #112
I write to the troops through Solders’ Angels, and I start each letter with an image I made that says, “Thank you for keeping the payments up on the freedoms your predecessors bought for ME”. It is meant for anybody who served, even if they sat in an office all of the time they served. The ones on the front lines are the ones keeping ME free, and the rest are supporting them, so they are also doing their part to keep the payments up to keep ME free. I wish there would be a FINAL PAYMENT, but it doesn’t look like there will be in my lifetime.

One thing I hope everyone who served and went “over there” does is tell their family where they went. My dad was in the Coast Guard, and most of my life I thought the Coast Guard guarded the coasts, but many years after Dad died, I found out that he escorted Merchant Marine convoys to war zones.

One thing I have learned is that the ones who don’t talk about their experiences are the ones who went through some rough stuff. I’m guessing my dad saw some ships sink, and didn’t want to relive them, so I don’t know where he went. I encourage ALL vets to at least tell their family members where they had been.

I never got involved in politics until I was up there in years, so I am trying to make up for lost time. I have lived through many countries loosing their freedoms by someone taking over who wants to be a dictator, and I see those things happening to the USA. Anyone who doesn’t is part of the problem, in my opinion.

the RUSSIANS WHO LIVED IN UKRAINE AND BENEFIT FROM IT,
NOW FIGHTING THEM, SHOULD BE DEPORTED ALL TO RUSSIA,
BECAUSE THEY ARE TRAITORS TO UKRAINE, WHERE THEY LIVED THERE BEFORE THE CONFLICT,
PUTIN GO GET THEM CLEAR THE UKRAINE FROM ANY RUSSIAN TRAITORS,

@ilovebeeswarzone: #114

THEY ARE TRAITORS TO UKRAINE

MsBees, you raise a valid point in this observation. In Russia’s satellite countries, live many Russians who were purposely moved there for obvious ‘invasive’ reasons. All those Russians hold and proclaim allegiance to Russia.

In North America, at least the U.S. and Canada, we have in the past 20 years or so experienced a massive influx of people, many of whom feel the same way about the country they emmigrated from. As you know in Canada, the millions of people who came in from Asia, feel strong loyalty to the countries of their births, even if they don’t want to live there. In the event of a war, most of them would support the countries of their births. Same in the U.S.

I’ve never understood this. I’m an imigrant and yet this thinking makes no common sense to me. If they feel that way, they shouldn’t be here.

You’re right. Those Russians are traitors.

@Pete: elitists? Were not Jefferson, Hamilton, Washington and many Founding Fathers by definition –elitists?
“serving the cause of good and leaving my country in a better condition for my own and everyone else’s children.” Well said
“The greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by the way it treats it’s animals.” Gandhi

@Rich Wheeler:

Were not Jefferson, Hamilton, Washington and many Founding Fathers by definition –elitists?

I’m confused. Are you saying the definition of Jefferson, Hamilton and Washington, etc is ‘elitist’? Or that the definition of Elitist is Jefferson, et al.? While I will concede there are several definitions of elitist, I’d say that in the case of Reid, Pelosi, Obama, etc. it’s because they think they are superior to others and are entitled just because they hold a position. In the case of Washington, Jefferson, etc, I’d say it was because others felt they were superior persons.

@Rich Wheeler:

“The greatness of a nation and it’s moral progress can be judged by the way it treats it’s animals.” Gandhi

I would say that a nation doesn’t treat it’s animals. I’d say persons treat animals. And if you think Gandhi was right, then you’d better stop slapping mosquitoes and eating fish

@Redteam: No mosquitos here in God’s country. I’ve given up fish since my beautiful Latin wife has really learned to cook incredible vegetarian meals.
I would say being elite is a good thing.
A nation is comprised of it’s people.
Enjoy your Easter.

@Rich Wheeler:

I’ve given up fish since my beautiful Latin wife has really learned to cook incredible vegetarian meals.

you recently said you eat fish. I see nothing wrong with it.
Really no mosquitoes in California? No wait…..you said God’s country, that certainly isn’t California. Too many people moving from there to Texas.

@Redteam: Only those in search of mosquitos move from Southern Cal to Texas.
No fish,no cheese, no eggs. Booze will be last to go–that won’t happen.

James Raider
YES i feel the same way, WE ARE NOT EMIGRATING THEM,
THEY CAME ON THEIR OWN AND INVADE OUR COUNTRY, AND WHAT HAPPEN THERE
IN UKRAINE WILL SOMEDAY HIT US IN THE FACE,
I WAS THINKING WHERE IS THEIR HEAD, IF THEY WOULD CARE FOR THE CITIZENS THEY WOULD CLOSE THE BORDERS AND STERNLY JEALOUSLY HOLD THE ILLEGAL AND GET THEM BACK ON THEIR SPOT,
THEY ARE IN THEIR COVERUP FROM THEIR MULTIPLE SECURITY SURROUNDING THE LEADER,
BUT THE PEOPLE HAVE TO COPE WITH THOSE WHO INDOCTRINATE THE YOUTH OF THIS NATIONS UN CHECKED LIKE A SNAKE HIDDING UNDERNEAT THE PILE OF MULTIPLE GOVERNMENT AGENCY
ON TOP OF EACH OTHER AND THEIR WORK IS TO AGRESS THE GOOD PEOPLE, AND WELCOME THE ILLEGALS TO LET THEM SHARE THIS LAND WHICH WE SEE NOW IS BEING STOLEN FROM THE REAL CITIZENS WHO FOR GENERATIONS USE IT FOR THEIR OWN CATTLE WHICH IS GOOD TO KEEP THAT LAND OCCUPY BY THEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE WISDOM TO KNOW HOW TO RESPECT IT,
NOW THEY ARE HARASS BY THE LEADER WHO IS SUPOSE TO BE ON THE PEOPLE SIDE,
THEY HAVE SHOWN WHICH SIDE THEY ARE, AND THE PEOPLE KNOW WHO THEY GIVE THEIR ALLEGIANCE BY NOW,
AND UKRAINE HAS THE PROBLEM IN FRONT OF THEM TODAY, THEY HAVE DISARM TO COMPLY TO
BIGGER COUNTRYS AND NOW THEY ARE LEFT ALONE, RECEIVING THE PACKSACK FROM THIS COUNTRY AS A GENEROUS HELP,
BYE

@Rich Wheeler:

Only those in search of mosquitos move from Southern Cal to Texas.

judging from the number of people moving, must be a large demand for mosquitoes.

No fish,no cheese, no eggs.

you said last week you still eat some fish. I didn’t make that up.
Booze, better get that worm out of the Tequila.

@Redteam:I said when I go out to dinner I may order fish. Been staying home. Tequila–much too dangerous for me.
Heard the mosquitos are huge in Tex. The state bird? How bout in La? Do you hunt em? Maybe those duck dynasty folks can invent a caller.
Got a favorite in the NBA Playoffs?

@Redteam: #117
Very well put.

@Rich Wheeler:

The state bird? How bout in La?

The Pelican, but not my favorite in the NBA. No favorite, don’t care too much for NBA type basketball. Back to baseball already.

I said when I go out to dinner I may order fish.

Oops, interpreted that as you may occasionally eat fish. Even worse to order fish and then just throw it away. If a fish has to die for humans, they should at least consume it.

Maybe those duck dynasty folks can invent a caller.

Actually, I think they now have their third caller. It’s for use in Southern Cal and it calls illegal Aliens, makes them cross the border. Don’t think you need too many of the callers though.

Tequila–much too dangerous for me.

It’s that worm, told you to get rid of it.

Happy Easter
