Farrakhan promises Islamic uprising in the US [Reader Post]

The linkages between Barack Obama, Lewis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright and Muammar Gaddafi are plentiful. In 1984 Wright paid a visit to Gaddafi and Gaddafi then provided Wright an interest-fee $5,000,000 loan in 1985. Much later Gaddafi declared that Obama is of Muslim descent and is a “blessing to the Muslim world.”

Then there’s this:

Last year, right around the time Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi called Obama “our son,” Obama earmarked $400,000 for two Libyan charities.

(For more on these linkages, go here)

Your tax money went to Gaddafi “charities.”

As the uprisings grew in Libya, Barack Obama assumed his usual deer in the headlights pose:

By late Wednesday only one major Western leader had failed to speak up on Libya: Barack Obama. Before then, the president’s only comment during five days of mounting atrocities was a statement issued in his name by his press secretary late last Friday, which deplored violence that day in three countries: Yemen, Libya and Bahrain. For four subsequent days, the administration’s response to the rapidly escalating bloodshed in Libya consisted of measured and relatively mild statements by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Administration officials explained this weak stance by saying they were worried about U.S. citizens, hundreds of whom were being extracted by ferry Wednesday afternoon. There were fears that the desperate Mr. Gaddafi might attack the Americans or seek to take them hostage. But the presence of thousands of European citizens in Libya did not prevent their government’s leaders from forcefully speaking out and agreeing on sanctions.

Typically, Obama waits for the die to be cast before assuming the safe and “noble” quixotic role. This is gutless but it served him well in Chicago. On the world stage it makes him look impotent and puny. Obama is dominated by his narcissism and it is no substitute for a world plan.

But perhaps there is more to this latest Presidential impotence:

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan says Moammar Gadhafi has always been a friend and he won’t distance himself from the Libyan dictator.

Farrakhan spoke Sunday at the Chicago-based organization Saviours’ Day convention.

Farrakhan didn’t talk specifics about the deadly uprisings in Libya, but the 77-year-old said no leader has been loved by 100 percent of his people.

It seems that union leaders give Obama his walking orders and one cannot help but wonder if Wright and Farrakhan have strong input into his foreign policy.

Now Minister Farrakhan, who refers to Gaddafi as “our brother,” has informed us that Islamic uprisings are coming to a town near you:

Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan predicted on Sunday that America faces imminent uprisings that mirror those in the Middle East.

“What you are looking at in Tunisia, in Egypt … Libya, in Bahrain … what you see happening there … you’d better prepare because it will be coming to your door,” Farrakhan said in a booming voice, thousands of followers cheering in his wake.

Farrakhan added “God will send saviours.” Have a look at one of them.

Farrakhan’s association with Gaddafi is reported to have given Gaddafi a opening into the US:

According to reports in 1996 from Libya’s news agency, JANA, Farrakhan and Gadhafi agreed to work together to mobilize “oppressed blacks, Arabs, Muslims and Red Indians” to help reshape U.S. foreign policy.

Gadhafi said that until his alliance with the Nation of Islam, “our confrontation with America was like a fight against a fortress from outside.”

He asserted his alliance with Farrakhan provides him with “a breach to enter into this fortress and confront it.”

Farrakhan’s religious beliefs are interesting:

The keynote address, titled “God will send saviours,” capped a weekend of workshops focused on health, preparing for natural disasters and unidentified flying objects. The Nation of Islam believes in a UFO called “the wheel” or “the Mother Plane.”

Farrakhan has described a 1985 religious experience in which he ascended into a flying saucer and heard the voice of Elijah Muhammad predicting historical events that came to pass.

Early on in the Obama administration Farrakhan was quite enthusiastic about Gaddafi and Libya.

“We are hoping that under President Barack Obama, Libya can come more into the sunlight. The Obama administration can be a great help in this. “

Right now, all that sunlight is coagulating the blood running through the streets.

@Curt:

Where, oh where is Rocky B? Wish he would come back.

Very interesting thread! Obama’s go between, after he began his OO run, to Farakhan was Tony Rezko until the Rezko stuff htf.

If not for Farahkan, Obama would never had been allowed Alice Palmer’s seat. The Obama/Farakhan relationship goes way back, just got to dig up the old Chicago Weekly’s and sift.

@drjohn:

my god! john, what type of dr are you? a veterinarian? it’s mind boggling that you really claim to be a real doctor and yet operate with such a bizarre mindset. victim mentality? if i had a victim mentality i’d probably be resorting to running with unsubstantiated info, half truths & lies and trying to convince folk that such is legitimate and should be given much credence. that’s a victim for you and that would be you and your behavior patterns as exhibited here. your madness got busted like a balloon and now you and another are trying to divert attention to the topic of “abuse” because the foolishness of your previous arguments is on display for all to see.

mr irons, yes i said i “assumed” nan was white because browsing thru this website, it appears that’s who the authors are and who most of the commenters are so, why wouldn’t i have assumed that she was white? she kind of made that plain when she said the black men wouldn’t sell her a newspaper and then called them “racist.” so yes, i ASSumed she was white. if you read that, why wouldn’t you have assumed the same thing? so please cut the misplaced and self righteous disgust. that’s really a bit over dramatic, in this instance. and i did say look at the history of white people on the planet. why not? are you afraid to do that? (and i don’t know if you suffer from problems with reading comprehension like at least 2 others here do, but it’s been pointed out that i’m a woman so i’m definitely not a “sir.”

on to tallgrass … you can refer to me as “it” all you like. am i supposed to start crying? and you’re, what the 4th or 5th person in here who has used the word “racist”? LOL. that’s getting as old coming from white people as you all say it is coming from black people but it’s the first thing many of you cry now when someone is simply speaking some words that you don’t like and evidently can’t refute but can only sound that battle cry of “you’re racist!, that’s racist!, i’m appalled by this racism.”

boo-hoo. i’m still LOL at most of you here. you’re ridiculous, but hilarious too. if someone speaking words is racism to so many of you, what – pray tell – do you call people burning crosses on other folks’ lawns? what do you call redlining? what do you call inequitable laws that favor certain groups of people but not others, along color lines? what do you call people killing others simply for the color of their skin? it’s clear that many people who like to cry “racism” have ….. surprise, surprise … no idea what they’re even talking about. but then, that was the basis of what this whole discussion started with in drjohn’s first post. folk that don’t even know what they’re talking about but are trying to portray themselves to others as though they do.

@DrJohn:

and what about the other question, john. what kind of dr are you?

tall grass, is that you in the pic? if so, aren’t you a bit too old for such childishness?

lgc;

You have made yourself into such an anal orifice that the humor in your statements are beyond comprehension. Not everyone on this blog is black or white . . . I am a Native American. Your inability to read another language just simply verifies to me that your are what you are and nothing more.

I nominate lgc for banning from Floppping Aces. Do I have a second?

Gets my nomination too.

@ john: and what about the other question, john. what kind of dr are you?

tallgrass, you post this to me “ao0ouc0je o0mcea p0e apc0e ac0ne o9one00 pwbe upooi goete begone tulavea venaocy” – with no explanation and think i, and everyone else, should know that it’s not jibberish? you don’t have to worry about me being banned, and really there’s no legitimate reason for me to be banned, but once i’m done clowning on & with you all here, i’ll be gone. i don’t waste too much of my precious time going back & forth non productively with folks but i do it for comic relief every now & then. having browsed through only a few threads here, i see some of these posters make it an everyday or every week thing to do this …….. i don’t. so whether i’m banned or not, you don’t have to worry about me being around here much longer. until then, though…..

the fact that you’re calling for a ban is, once again, just another thing that is ridiculous about this whole thread. this site allows people to come in ranting with lies & half truths and some/many of you are fine with that but you want me to be banned? LOL

“These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood that is seeding the American people and the people of the world and bringing you down in moral strength. … It’s the wicked Jews the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality. It’s wicked Jews, false Jews that make it a crime for you to preach the word of God, then they call you homophobic!” (call this B)

for those with comprehension capabilities, those who operate like snakes, do so in attempts to deceive. posting the above paragraph preceded by “Farrakhan has called Jews “bloodsuckers,” “satanic” and accused them of running the slave trade. He has labeled gays as “degenerates,” (call this A) would lead people to believe that A & B go together, but they don’t. “B” is a quote from the minister, “A” is somebody else’s words.

you clearly see that “B” does not contain the word “bloodsuckers” or the word “degenerates” – those words were used by someone, operating like a snake, who is attempting to deceive the gullible and unthinking who don’t do their own research and allow themselves & their emotions to be manipulated (abused) by “satanic” people. in “B”, it’s clear – for people who have reading comprehension – that the minister plainly states which jews he is talking about, i.e. (that means in other words for those with comprehension difficulties) he wasn’t talking about ALL jews. he was talking about “false & wicked jews” who are guilty of what he described: promoting behaviors and lifestyles that – per jewish scripure (torah), christian scripture (new testament) and muslim scripture (quran) are filthy and against the laws of god.

so how did and do the minister’s words get taken so far away from their context? snakes, whose aim & purpose is to deceive and cause mischief.

also, the minister never has called jews “bloodsuckers.” i just had this debate with the editor of a jewish newspaper the other day and of all the quotes he pulled up & posted, none of them had the minister calling the jews “bloodsuckers.” so drjohn, where is your proof of this allegation? i know you’re only cutting and pasting from other websites and what other people have said because – despite your degree, you really don’t seem to have an interest in researching to obtain actual facts. but where is your proof of this? if a jewish newspaper editor couldn’t find any evidence of a quote of the minister calling jews “bloodsuckers,” i highly doubt that you’ll be able to find one either.

most likely because there’s not one to be found.

lgc

I am glad you stepped forward and took the responsibility for being a clown. The gusto of laughing at YOU is a wonderful pleasure.

@lgc65: In reference to racism you said, “like i said to nan, john, the days of slavery are over”. Add to that the other posts you made on slavery, it’s easy to see where people would believe you were equating people here with slavery, which amongst other things, was racist. No one here has ever owned slaves nor has anyone here ever condoned its practice. Don’t forget, Whites weren’t the only ones who owned, traded, or practiced slavery. Based on your posts though, it appears Whites were the only ones. Then we have the statement made that Barack Obama is Black. His mother was White. That makes him mulato. If you viewed other threads here, you would find out that one of the most popular, highly respected political figures is Allen West, who is 100% Black.

As for the WMD issue, that issue has been beaten to death here numerous times with ample evidence showing that WMD was indeed found to the order of 500 plus muntions containing sarin and mustard nerve gas. Also as more than one Iraqi put it to me, Saddam Hussein himself was a weapon of mass destruction. Those of us in Iraq were not victims of propaganda. We were there and saw what was going on first hand so we’d know if we were lied to. Staying back here on the sidelines reading and listening to what is put out by our MSM is where the real lies and propaganda exist.

Hmm. “Days of Slavery is over?”

If you had half a brain and half a heart, you would know United States History and which Political Party waged their entire Platform to fight Slavery in 1850’s to Present (Here’s a hint, it wasn’t the Democrats .)

Slavery is a very large and very terrible problem that impacts more than just, “Whites” or “Blacks” of the United States of America. People are kipnapped, mostly women of all Nationalities, and forced into sex slave markets while men are forced (concripted) to a Dictator’s milita or face death. This is horrid and gross, and is a marker that Slavery is not far from over and the battle to halt it is not even remotely over. Drug Cartels of Mexico are abusing the Mexican citizens as using them as Drug Mules (some are doing it for passage into the United States, others are beaten and forced to be mules) and forcing young women into the Sex Trafficing.

As for your logics, your points of concepts jump from yes to no to yes to maybe to yes to no to grilled cheese with soap. I have no idea what the hell you’re saying in what your rebuttles towards DrJohn or the others. You may think you have some moral right to defend your position but as the good Doctor and others have tried to point out, you do need to brush up on History and a bit of your facts. The less than pleasant Mr. F is highly caustic and has encouraged the prospects of Israel’s destruction and highly aggressive against Jewish communities in the United States that have been acting in an Isolationist mentality. It is easy to blame a group that keeps quite to itself and doesn’t involve itself with Community affairs when the community is in collapse and that is exactly what Mr. F is doing. Society, or at least his general area, is in disruption with high crime and high violence and it’s easier to turn face and deny responsiblities of one’s actions by blaming un-related groups.

@DrJohn:

why should i answer your question, john? you haven’t answered mine. what kind of dr are you?

@ tallgrass, so now you’ve gone from wanting me banned to expecting people to believe you’re actually sitting back ROFL at me . …….. yeah. right. whatever you say.

@ another vet. you said “In reference to racism you said, “like i said to nan, john, the days of slavery are over”. i don’t get your point; other than you’re indirectly acknowledging that i never called anyone in here a racist. other than that, i didn’t know one of the most popular writers here was black. cool, i won’t be sticking around to read his works but – okay. the only people i see on the “authors” page are white and the cartoon characters at the top of that page appear to be all white too. so, i thought (and still) think that’s the primary demographic of this sites participants & authors but i stand corrected that there is at least one black person who is a regular contributor.

@mr irons, it may surprise you but i already knew it was the republican party that most blacks were affiliated with before they made a mass exodus to the democratic party in the mid 1900s. it may surprise you more to know that i have a whole brain and a whole heart. it is true that there are many things going on in the world now that are termed “slavery” but the “slavery” i refer to here is the chattel slavery that blacks endured here in america and in other places in the world. however, the degree of brutality was far worse here in america.

as far as your comment: “It is easy to blame a group that keeps quite to itself and doesn’t involve itself with Community affairs when the community is in collapse” – considering what is happening in pittsburgh right now, this sentiment and belief of many is another absolute joke. does the below read to you like certain jews keep quiet & to themselves or do certain of them deliberately go out of their way to interfere in black affairs:

Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle’s Lee Chottiner Goes Talmudic on Blacks
By the N.O.I. Historical Research Department
Updated Mar 8, 2011 – 11:55:55 AM

(FinalCall.com) – In a recent article in the Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle, “editor” Lee Chottiner felt compelled to register his outrage at the wise and intelligent Black people at Pittsburgh’s August Wilson Center for African American Culture who invited the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to address a town hall program on March 11. Mr. Chottiner, a Caucasian, referred to our beloved Minister as having “two faces” and suggested by inference that the Black hosts of the event made a choice of speakers they would soon be made to regret. But in so doing, Mr. Chottiner reveals to the world the only Jewish face that Black people have ever known—the unkosher and irredeemably racist face of a plantation massa.

Before imparting a specific reprimand, Mr. Chottiner—having no other purpose than to make them afraid—runs down his “wanted list” of unacceptably audacious Black co-conspirators. He identifies several entities: the August Wilson Center, its leader, André Kimo Stone Guess, The Bev Smith Show, and its producer the American Urban Radio Networks, before leveling the open intimidation: “It is troubling that some mainstream leaders, including elected officials … provide him [The Hon. Min. Farrakhan] with the level of credibility that, A, he does not deserve, but, B, would not be afforded to any other known anti-Semite in this country.” The rest of Mr. Chottiner’s racist noise is simply cut-and-pasted from the hate-site of J. Edgar Hoover’s favorite son and protégé, the Anti-Defamation League’s Abraham Foxman.

One can search one hundred years of Pittsburgh’s Black press in vain for any mention or discussion or commentary or concern about any Jewish event in which Caucasian Jews invite other Caucasians to address their Caucasian selves over any of the issues they faced. You simply will never find it. As a rule Blacks consider Caucasian Jewish business dealt with and shared among Caucasian Jews none of their Black business.

Mr. Chottiner, though, clearly feels that his shvartses (Jewish word for niggers) should not meet and discuss anything without the express written consent of the Pittsburgh Jewish synagogue officials. Some negroes tremble under this kind of pressure—but many fewer today than yesterday. Mr. Chottiner’s arrogance and belligerence have roots in a long, long history of racist Jewish exploitation, including:

• The extraordinary Jewish dominance of the African slave trade, including a Jewish monopoly over the notorious Gorée Island trade;

• Jewish control of the cotton plantations; in fact, one of the Jewish Lehman Bros. for a time controlled ALL of the cotton trade in Alabama;

• And the Jewish financing of neo-slavery—that is, the Black sharecropping system. Even W.E.B. Du Bois wrote that it was Jewish merchants that had re-enslaved the newly emancipated Blacks.

The new Black awakening in Pittsburgh and around the world has incited the slave-massa tendencies of Mr. Chottiner’s people. His arrogance is stunning, but by no means surprising, and it is only outshone by his pitiable historical ignorance.

And though Black newspapers are respectful of communal boundaries, the Jewish newspapers of Pittsburgh have NEVER felt any such reluctance. Their penchant for management of Black affairs goes way back. Indeed, Mr. Chottner’s whole approach to the August Wilson Center is simply a sequel to a heritage of such overlordship:

In 1895, Pittsburgh Rabbi Samuel Greenfield was editor of the Pittsburgh Jewish Criterion. On the one hand he wanted to see Blacks “educated,” because he thought, on the other, it would allow Blacks “to overcome the prejudice which he [the Black man] inspires either through his own actions or through his own ignorance.” Then the rabbi called us the “uneducated and unprincipled children of Ham.” The racist rabbi was, of course, referring to that odious teaching of the ancient Babylonian rabbis that inspired the slave traders—that Blacks are “cursed by God” and thus intended by Him to be servants of White people forevermore. And that is one Biblical teaching—though totally fabricated—that Jews have faithfully followed.

Mr. Chottiner then puts what he thinks is a zinger to Mr. Guess to let him know just how offended the Jews are. He asked Mr. Guess if the Wilson Center would ever permit a member of the Ku Klux Klan to speak there. Mr. Guess replied smartly: “Absolutely, if it were in the scope of what we were trying to do.” Brother Guess must have read The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Vol. 2, where he found an entire chapter dedicated to the ugly history of Jews as supporters, financiers, weapons suppliers, and members of the Ku Klux Klan. Jews loved the Klan because they were terrorizing Blacks into laboring on cotton plantations for the profit of the many hundreds of Southern-based Jews in the worldwide cotton business. Mr. Guess probably saw on page 421 the 1924 photograph of Fairfield, Illinois, businessman Emanuel Steiner receiving fifty roses from hooded Klansmen at a public ceremony. If the Wilson Center did ever invite the KKK, as Mr. Chottiner suggested, it might very well be one of his fellow Caucasian Jews who would show up!

But there is more of this Pittsburgh history of Jewish press racism. When a group of Jews produced the most racist movie ever made, the 1915 Ku Klux Klan recruitment film called Birth of a Nation, the Pittsburgh Jewish Criterion’s Jewish reviewer insisted that the Klan was “well-meaning.” Before Birth of a Nation was a movie, it was a play called The Clansman, and the Jewish Criterion newspaper was almost breathless in its endorsement when it rolled into town. It particularly liked the play’s depiction of how the South “threw off the yoke of the negro” and “reasserted the rights of white manhood and the honor of white womanhood.” It was “sumptuously staged,” and “sensational” with “all the elements for enduring popularity.” It was “a vital, powerful and coherent drama,” and the newspaper advised Pittsburgh Jews to get their seats early.

One 1921 Pittsburgh Jewish newspaper told a Noah & the Ark story, saying the ark was provisioned with “popcorn and nigger babies.” Another relays a “funny story” to its Jewish readers, in which the characters refer to Blacks as “niggers”—twice. Indeed, for many years the Jewish press in Pittsburgh referred to Blacks as niggers without hesitation. One article prominently carried the opinion of a Caucasian Jew that the Biblical patriarchs may not have been “Nordic” white, but he “could not remain silent,” when Blacks claim the fathers of the bible were negroes! “[B]ringing Moses and David into the negro family…enters the whole Jewish people into the negro race and that is something we cannot stand.” Of course, recent Jewish scholarship, by Prof. Shlomo Sand and others, has definitively affirmed as fable the claims of Caucasian Jews that they have any genetic connection to the Jews of ancient Biblical times.

In 1912, a Jewish person quoted in the Pittsburgh Jewish newspaper commented on the racial make-up of the land that Jews eventually stole from the Palestinian owners who actually do have a genetic connection to the ancient Hebrews. They ranged, he thought, “from the blue-eyed blonde boy of the European Jew to the black, curley-headed nigger type …”

If Mr. Chottiner is now speaking for the Jews of Pittsburgh—and no responsible Jews have objected to his misrepresentation—he has some lengthy atoning to do before Blacks should be expected to consider his stupid and false claims against the good name of the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan. And those Blacks who continue to give credence to the ig’nant bluster of the Chottiners of the world ought to consider the Jews’ resume of repression before they take them seriously.

@DrJohn:

absolutely ridiculous. i’m asking what type of doctor you are because it’s hard to believe that you actually are one. i’m not asking what state you are in, your location, your SSN, your address, your income i’m asking what type of doctor are you since you bothered to make the “dr” a part of your username. if you didn’t want that to be known about you, you would have just picked the username “john.”

and ONCE AGAIN, reading comprehension. another reason i find it hard to believe you’re actually a doctor. what i posted when you asked if the final call lies was that “no one is above lying BUT if that paper has a history of lying, it would have been made known.” that’s what i said but, per your common tactic, you pick & choose what you want to read/accept and then go about your snake-like business of using half truths and misrepresentations in your campaign. do your thing. i’m done with you and your absolute ridiculousness.

and if you don’t trust the final call’s reporting – a paper that is not known for reporting lies, nor does it have a history of doing so (unlike you) – you can read the account of the organizer of the town hall meeting who is outraged over jewish intervention in a black event:

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT –COMMENTS FROM BEV SMITH REGARDING THE MARCH 11TH TOWN HALL MEETING FEATURING THE HONORABLE MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN -AN OPEN LETTER TO THE JEWISH CHRONICLE.
(This is in response to the Jewish Chronicles recent article entitled, “Purpose of town hall defeated with Farrakhan appearance”)

For years I’ve talked openly about having a series of town hall meetings aimed at the African American community across the country. The goal is to reunite the African American community, create an interest in volunteering inside the African American community and strengthen the African American family both biological and communal.
Last November 12h at the beautiful August Wilson Center, that dream was realized with the first in a four part series of conversation’s entitled “The Disappearing Black Community, and How Can We Get it Back.”
At that meeting, an illustrious panel headlined by outspoken civil rights activist, and comedian Dick Gregory, looked at the problems in the African American community and outlined how we got to where we are today.
On March 11th, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, we will go inside the black community, to look at our responsibilities for some of those social problems, like an increasingly escalating high school dropout rate coupled with a high teenage pregnancy rate.
To undertake this challenging responsibility I’ve invited leaders and experts in the fields of community development, and political achievement. I asked the founder of the Million Man March, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, along with Assistant Minority Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives Congressman James Clyburn (D-SC), and Melanie Campbell, President and CEO of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation to participate in this event.
All agree that this conversation about our community is long overdue and they are excited to be a part of the discussion and would like to help find solutions to the problems plaguing our community. Simply, the discussion is aimed at Black People only.
This is why I was somewhat perplexed and later outraged at the suggestion from the Jewish Chronicle that our efforts to talk to people we feel are relevant to our community, is an offense against the Jewish community.
For years I have enjoyed a relationship with the Jewish community and cannot understand why a community who has suffered discrimination as my community has would suggest that we should not have the ability to meet and discuss with anyone we want to regarding the black community.
This town hall meeting, is not about the Jewish community, Egypt, the current problems in Afghanistan or anything else, except, its sole purpose is to discuss the state of the black community in 2011.
I resent those outside forces that are trying to highjack this town hall meeting by making their concerns the center of our discussion. This is not a meeting to discuss anti-Semitism. Their suggestion for us to not have Minister Farrakhan at the table for this important discussion, reminds me of what white slave owners use to do to their black slaves, and that is to tell the slaves how to meet, what to talk about and who to talk to.
I am offended by those outside forces contacting me to suggest I cancel my guest, notably, the Honorable Minister Farrakhan because of issues they may have with him.
At no time during the planning of the first town hall meeting did the Jewish Chronicle or any other Christian organization contact me to talk about the importance of these meetings within our community.
I am willing to sit down with members of the Jewish Chronicle, the Christian Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania or any other group interested in making our community better and I welcome the opportunity to do so after the town hall meeting on March 11th.
Again I am setting the record straight, Minister Farrakhan is coming to town along with some of our other distinguished guests to focus solely on how we can rebuild and unite the African American community.
I feel strongly that no one can dictate to the African American community who they can have as a guest around my black family table. -The Bev Smith Show.

Sincerely,
Bev Smith -Syndicated Talk Show Host, The Queen of Late Night Talk,
American Urban Radio Networks

thank you for showing your true colors “doctor”. the liar in the house is not the final call, it’s you but you have the nerve to talk about someone else’s alleged lying. you’re a snake, john and thank you for the laughs. now hiss on………sssssssssssssssssss….

@lgc65: Just to clarify, Allen West does not post here. He is however talked about a lot.

As to the charge of racism, there are ways of making the accusation without using the word. As an example here is what you said in an earlier post:

if you want to talk about abuse, nan, look at the history of your people all over the planet earth. look at how the white slavemasters raped black women, black girls and even boys & men during slavery. look at how the white women & children stood around laughing and smiling as their white men hung black men from trees, cut off their penises and took them home to store them on the mantle over the fireplace. white women saw that in their homes and evidently stayed with those abusive type of men and approved of their behavior. enough to allow it to be passed on to their own children so they’d grow up to be the same type of abusers.

If someone made a similar statement but made it referencing Blacks and to you, would you say they were accusing you of being a racist? That was my first impression when you posted the above response. Why make the statement if weren’t trying to equate Nan with the racist behavior of those you cited in your example by referring to them as “your people”?

Well! This past half hour has certainly been informative, sometimes funny, but mostly just kinda blah. lgc65 seems to have some kind of derangement condition when discussing anything to do with racism, slavery, or the NOI, particularly it’s leader.

One would think that if one discussed history, any sort of history, that they would have at least an understanding, or some kind of working knowledge, of world history in general. Particularly when it comes to slavery. To have the ego where one presents black slavery as being the worst, or longest lived, or somehow greatest injustice, just shows the depth(or, more correctly, the lack of it) of knowledge concerning the history of slavery in the world.

Another point: To assume anything about the readers and contributors here is asinine, yet lgc65, while not quite explicitly stating so, has assumed that all here were white, and thus, brought up slavery and racism. Here’s a little nugget of info lgc65. Not all whites, even the ones hailing from western europe, had dealings with slavery. Maybe you should do some research into the subject before frothing at the mouth, accusing one, all, or some, of posting lies or half-truths.

It’s easy to call someone a liar, quite a bit harder to prove, and none of what I have read concerning lgc65’s postings, and those of other contributors regarding your postings, has shown anything to be a lie, or half-truth.

As for Min. Farrakhan, and statements he has made, whether in context or not, the level of violent rhetoric and promotion of violence is staggering. I believe that I can speak for most of the people here in their admiration for blacks in history like Martin Luther King, Jr, and Frederick Douglass. Their views on changing the culture never discussed violence, or even had violent tendencies. They weren’t beholden to anyone, and indeed, spoke in peaceful terms, even about those who sought to destroy them.

Farrakhan is nothing more than a thug in expensive clothing. It seems to me that he has more in common with guys like Idi Amin Dada than someone like MLK.

lgc65 seems like those caricatures of people who become totally influenced by the charismatic cult figures. A cult member, if you will. Nothing anyone says to her on here can convince her otherwise of her own “truth”, even if you were to post thousands of words showing the contrary to her. Even Greg and RW will stop participating in various threads within a discussion when proven wrong. This won’t happen with lgc65. It is a worthless pursuance of time to continue to engage her. Someday, somewhere, we can hope the truth hits her in the head and knocks her back into reality. Until then, her cries of “lies, racism and slavery” will dominate her thoughts concerning the “Honorable” Minister.

for those able to comprehend, the final call article does not say or insinuate that an “islamic uprising is coming to the west.” that statement and this “The tumult the world is witnessing in Tunisia, in Egypt, in Libya, in Bahrain is headed to America…” are not equivalent, except to those with comprehension problems. the “tumult” min. farrakhan mentioned is not millions of muslims protesting, it’s masses of people who are citizens of america rising up. it’s talking about the continued chaos in the society increasing. since i listen to min. farrakhan regularly, i know what he has said about this in the past and he has never talked about “an islamic uprising” in the west. so, folks who want to ad lib on his words and assume that the “tumult” he mentioned is “an islamic uprising,” have the right to believe that. that doesn’t mean that’s what the minister was talking about.

@another vet, you said “If someone made a similar statement but made it referencing Blacks and to you, would you say they were accusing you of being a racist? ” no, i wouldn’t. and if i wanted to call any of you racist, i would speak that plainly and call you a racist. it’s very odd that i’m not the one in here throwing the racist card but 3-5 of you have done so.

, despite the differences many of us have in here, i’m sure more than one of the people in this thread joined me in the long YAAAWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! that came over me as i started to read your post, and never did completely read it all.

@lgc65:

Just so we can be clear here, that post wasn’t directed at you. No where in that post did I make a direct statement to you, so whether or not you read the whole thing, I don’t really care.

There are people here that value my opinion, as I do theirs, and the post was my opinion on their ‘discussing’ Farrakhan with you. I’m sure that those who do value my opinion read it, and understand it quite well.

You are defending the indefensible here, in attacking any criticism leveled at Farrakhan, particularly with those criticisms of his violent language.

@lgc65:

If you have a full brain and a full heart, then you wouldn’t be having posts that look like they were put in a Blender with a full bottle of Vodka. Just my two cents of opinion. You jump all over the place, and that’s a bit of a sticky situation.

lol. this has been fun for me but i’m really marveling right now at how min. farrakhan’s words (actual quotes) are being posted over & over again in here by someone who started off with misrepresentations. good. the minister often says, “every knock is a boost,” and you all are boosting him up quite nicely in here. just look at you! with all the rabid, venom you like to spew about the man, you’ve let a thread about him get up to 130 replies …. you all really love him deep down, don’tcha. otherwise you wouldn’t spend this kind of time allowing some to occupy this much of your attention and focus, right?

anyway, it appears that a load of people on many sites are operating off of the assumption that the “tumult” the minister mentioned relates to masses of muslims rising up in this country. well, look at this, okay.

“Hundreds of council tax protesters storm courtroom in attempt to make citizens’ arrest of judge

that’s in england. how long before you think some groups are going to try that in america? with so many cities cutting back on their police force budgets, cutting hours, how long before you think there is near anarchy in the streets of america? a condition that could be described as “tumult.”

for those attempting to analyze min. farrakhan’s words, a man you claim to despise and dislike but continue to have his name in your mouth & minds, it might help you be better able to understand the person you’ve allowed to occupy such a great amount of your energy, if you understood more of what made him who he is, i.e. his teacher – elijah muhammad. this is what is found in a 1973 book by elijah muhammad, called “the fall of america”:

America is just beginning to experience sorrow, mourning, grief and distrust from the anger of God and man. According to both the Holy Qur’an and the Bible, there will be plenty more of the same. In these two books, one can easily find everything foretold that is happening today. The time will grow so troublesome that …. children will become gray headed, and … great heart failure will become a disease upon the people, who have the anger of God….

… The Revelations of John of the Bible prophesy of America’s doom. America is spoken of under the savage name of a beast and dragon who will oppose the Messenger of God and all those who seek to follow him….. We are in a world that is passing out of existence – and she is putting up a fight (war) to destroy the nation of righteousness.

…America has lived in peace – so far as foreign war is concerned. She has destroyed other peoples and their towns and cities. She has leveled them to the ground. She is still prepared to do the same with her great stockpile. She says she has enough bombs and destructive weapons to destroy all human beings on the face of the earth three times … Of this she boasts but Allah/God has said to me that He will destroy America. He will bring her to her knees (humiliation).

The destruction sent to ancient Babylon and recorded in the Bible is the answer to most of what He has said to me will come upon the now rich America. Rain, hail, snow and earthquakes – these weapons all belong to God. America, how do you fight an army like this?…..

now if you all want to turn this into a study group on analyzing minister farrakhan’s words, let’s go! if you want to understand where the man is coming from, instead of assuming his words mean something they absolutely don’t, get serious and let’s go. he was never taught that any “islamic uprising” is coming to america, he was taught and teaches that god himself, has america on his list to destroy …. just as babylon, sodom & gomorrah and a host of other places were destroyed for their rebellion to god. that’s what’s “coming to america” and you can do nothing to avert it.

So you defend a man who is still defending the leader of Libya, who is killing his own people, that is advocating bloodshedding in the United States… Interesting. At least we know where you stand in terms of allies and enemies, but are you a Useful Idiot to be butchered after the Leader’s Victory or a Free Radical idom that posses the ablity to think for yourself?

And last I checked, from 1949 till now the United States has not been at Peace domesticly or internationally due to various different problems coming up. Riots, Cold War, economic down turns… none of that is peaceful.

@lgc65 #59:

but i shouldn’t have said that because slavery does, in fact & by law, still exist in america. just read your u.s. constitution, amendment 13 “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”

What do you mean by “your” U.S. Constitution? Is it not “ours”?

Do you mean to imply that imprisoning criminals who don’t abide by the rules of society equates to slavery?

yeah. no surprise that it is non-white people, and primarily black people disproportionately, that are caught up in the criminal justice system.

So blacks are disproportionately in prison on account of racism rather than attributable to some other factors?

so you might to go all over the world talking about “slavery” going on that you read about in some biased media outlets but,

Is American uniquely guilty of the practice of slavery? What percentage of the transatlantic slave trade was actually received by North America? What 2 countries were at the forefront of leading an anti-slavery movement in the world?

it’s just like the history of white people in america to overlook the dirt that’s on their own rear end while presuming to point out dirt going on somewhere else.

And it’s just like Howard Zinnian liberals and chip-on-the-shoulder blame America Firsters to bear unique, disproportionate guilt for America’s sins while ignoring the sins of the rest of the world.
@lgc65 #132:

it might help you be better able to understand the person you’ve allowed to occupy such a great amount of your energy, if you understood more of what made him who he is, i.e. his teacher – elijah muhammad.

You mean the man who basically hijacked a religion? What exactly does the Nation of Islam have in common with Muslim practitioners of the Islamic faith, in all its branches?

he was never taught that any “islamic uprising” is coming to america, he was taught and teaches that god himself, has america on his list to destroy …. just as babylon, sodom & gomorrah and a host of other places were destroyed for their rebellion to god. that’s what’s “coming to america” and you can do nothing to avert it.

Well that’s real comforting to know. Now that we have that cleared up, I see the light: Farrakhan still an America-hating s.o.b.

I’m telling you guys, it’s the cult mentality, only on steroids.

Kinda makes one yearn for at least a semi-productive discussion with Greg or RW, LOL!

@lgc65 #79:

min. farrakhan does not control me or my actions and words. just like thousands of black people who love him and speak up in his defense, i am one of them and all of us, collectively or individually, are not being abused by min. farrakhan.

Sounds like he’s got you brainwashed

his words sting but here’s the thing: after 80+ years of the NOI teaching what it teaches about white people, not one individual white person or group of white people have ever said what is taught is a lie.

How about carrying on with a distorted perspective on reality?

if you want to talk about abuse, nan, look at the history of your people all over the planet earth. look at how the white slavemasters raped black women, black girls and even boys & men during slavery. look at how the white women & children stood around laughing and smiling as their white men hung black men from trees, cut off their penises and took them home to store them on the mantle over the fireplace. white women saw that in their homes and evidently stayed with those abusive type of men and approved of their behavior. enough to allow it to be passed on to their own children so they’d grow up to be the same type of abusers.

While you’re busy blaming whitey for all the woes of the world, do you give a pass and gloss over the sins of the world in general? Do you only zero in on what “whites” have done because you yourself might be….dare I say, “racist”?

The atrocities that happened to black slaves and black Americans over this country’s 200+ history shocks and shames me because they are MY people, harmed by MY people. I refer to them as my people because I’m involved in humankind regardless of skin-color; and because these are also my fellow citizens. If you want to continue to divide the country along racial/ethnic lines of us and thems, then you are perpetuating the problem and not being part of the solution to racial harmony and human solidarity.

yes, talk about the abusive history of your own people, nan, if you want to talk about abuse.

How are blacks treating blacks on the continent of Africa? I suppose black on black crime in the U.S. is also the fault of “whitey”?

@Wordsmith #136:

What exactly does the Nation of Islam have in common with Muslim practitioners of the Islamic faith, in all its branches?

Basically it’s a pseudo-religion as phony as Kwanzaa and Scientology.

@lgc65:

is this thread part of the mass effort of anti-muslim propaganda that is being used to herd the masses along toward a false justification for the US to attack another muslim country?

What was the anti-Muslim propaganda used in the push for war against Saddam’s regime? How about Afghanistan? Here’s how the U.S. attacks Muslim countries.

many vets fought in iraq, a war preceded by mass propaganda to paint saddam hussein as the most vile and despicable leader around and who had weapons of mass destruction. well, that turned out to be a lie, right?

A lie and a mistake are two different things. Try again.

And was it all about wmd? Or was there more to it in the congressional resolution authorizing use of force against Iraq as well as the justifications put forth by the Bush Administration?

i just hope those of you who have served do not believe your service justifies wrongdoing on the part of the US.

Here’s some more “wrongdoing” on the part of the U.S.

Igc65, I have read here, and ,you try so hard to excuse FARRAKHAN’S HATE SPEECH,
so much many words to come back to the same meaning, lead me to say that the others are saying,
you should get help, because you have been brainwash and this is very serious indeed,
because it means that your words at any times are lead by FARRAKHAN, and his spirit
has taken place inside of you, making his slave, that’s where slavery is, for those people listening
to such hate speechs, and the fact that they cheer in one voice, is certainly the reason,
look into the COUNTRYS where the people do the same, and look how unhappy they are,
and look at yourself and what you are saying, then try to think of what you would like to say instead,
and you will be very surprise of the result, and maybe you will free your own mind

Muslim women deserve a lot of sympathy.
Look at what happened in ”liberated” Egypt just today.

A protest by hundreds of Egyptian women demanding equal rights and an end to sexual harassment turned violent Tuesday when crowds of men heckled and shoved the demonstrators, telling them to go home where they belong.
…..

At Tuesday’s march, men scolded protesters and said their concerns were not urgent in the aftermath of the uprising. When the women argued back, some were verbally abused or groped. Others were beaten and had to be ripped away from the groups of men.

Mostafa Hussein, 30, said many protesters had to flee the area and hide in a park nearby.

“They were running for their lives and the army had to fire a shot in the air to break up the mob chasing them,” Hussein said.

Passant Rabie, 23, said she was surprised that the women were abused after the role they played in the uprising. Women were central to the protests, leading chants, spending cold nights in the square and even fighting during the battle of Black Wednesday, when pro-government henchmen attacked the protesters.

I thought we were going to be celebrated as women of the revolution because we were present during the days of Tahrir,” Rabie said. “Unless women are included now, we are going to be oppressed.”

Well…..duh!!!!!!!!!
These ”liberators” are Muslim Brotherhood and other fundamentalists in Islam.
They are quoting the Koran to these ladies, and acting in exactly the manner of their ”perfect exemplar,” Mohammad.

@ilovebeeswarzone:

Ms. Bees, you are too kind-hearted to get involved in a discussion with someone like lgc65, who is so filled with hate, she’d rather burn the world down that search for the beauty in it.

Johngalt, hi, yes I feel sorry for her, and angry at the same time,
she could have use her jusgement at least to see tha the man is a fake,
but those guys are being encourage by the people who follow them,
their words are UNAMERICAN, they are being instigated by the MUSLIMS,
and it suits their minds, which racism and hate are still tormenting them,
the danger is having other believing what they say and it’s inciting to hate and think that the whites are responsable for their inner misery,

@rich wheeler: You said to OT:

This crap will NEVER elect a G.O.P’er in 2012.

I was unaware that OT was running for President…

If he isn’t then, what is the problem with the OP?

For the record, lgc65, YOU brought up race first

no nan, the days of slavery are over…

Here are some Farrakhan quotes for you to defend, lgc:

It appears that there is a genocidal plan against Black people. – Yeeeahhh, conspiracy nut anyone?

The Bush administration does not desire to see Islam practiced in its pristine purity. – I guess that is why he liberated so many millions of Muslims…

The Jews don’t like Farrakhan, so they call me Hitler. Well, that’s a good name. Hitler was a very great man. – I can’t wait to see you defend THIS one, lgc65.

They call them terrorists, I call them freedom fighters. – Tell that to the families of the victims of 9/11.

Source

But wait, there’s more:

Adopt a family, then the government can assist the families to get back on their feet. – Socialism, anyone?

Source

And more:

They stole land in Palestine… And this Synagogue of Satan knows that the end of their time of rule is up. The jig is up.

Now, Jews are very sensitive people. If you even look like you’re gonna criticize them they get very defensive. And you could say they’re defensive because of what they suffered in Europe. That may be one reason. But the main reason is, see when somebody has lied, and stolen your birthright, the one thing they fear is not your guns, because they got some bigger. They don’t fear your so-called scholarship ‘cause they arranged your education. And they never taught you anything that would allow you to upset their rule. But what they fear most is the truth. – No, the good minister isn’t racist at all…

I’m here to tell you no black man or woman becomes a multimillionaire without friendship in the Jewish community…. Did you know that nearly all prominent Negro actors and musicians have or had Jewish sponsors and managers? …They have a way of attaching themselves to your gifts, but you get nothing. They get it all. – This one is a particular kind of illogic. On the one hand, he says that for a negro to become a multimillionaire they need a Jewish manager, then on the other hand he says “they” attach themselves to your gifts, but give you nothing. If becoming a multimillionaire means I get nothing, sign me up.

The Black man and woman have always been looked upon as the ‘property’ of White America; and particularly, members of the Jewish community. They’ve always looked at you as ‘belonging’ to them. – And of course this is why America elected a black man to the Oval Office…

Source

So there you go, lgc – have at it. Illuminate us on how these quotes were taken our of context.

I dare you to take the above quotes and go one by one down the line and defend his asinine remarks.

LOL – seriously …………… LOL. no, really & truly ………………… LOLOLOLOLOL!

antirocks, when i was (falsely) accused of calling a lot of people in here “racist”, i did a search of the page to find out when/where “race” or “racism” or “racist” was mentioned. the first mention of any of those words was by nan, not by me. me using the word “slavery”, in my understanding, does not equate to me calling someone “racist” or bringing up “racism.” maybe it is to you ….. but like is very plain to see here, i don’t think or comprehend like a lot of you in here and vice versa.

other than that, my first reaction to coming back here to see so many posts aimed at lil ole me is still LOL. and i don’t know why you would think i would waste time on a bunch of the minister’s words that you pulled out of context. i don’t know why you would even do that after “dr” john’s attempts in doing that were burned up and shown to be the actions of a snake seeking to deceive and manipulate the minds of the gullible. people who want the context of the minister’s words will seek it out. others will continue doing & believing what they want. i don’t have time to continue to waste with this.

i said my piece, some of you are ripping your hair out over it or acting so distressed about lil ole me posting some words on this site. SMH

@ ilovebees ……………LOL. seriously……. LOL. yes, “poor lil lgc. she’s so brainwashed. she was able to come in here and basically kick rear end so the best we can do is accuse her of being in denial about abuse; she’s controlled by min. farrakhan; she can’t think for herself; she’s allowing him to speak through her; ………. blah-blah-blah.” if you all really believe that ….. REALLY BELIEVE that, you need more help than you claim that i do. as a journalist, i know how to research, i know how to read any/all sides of a matter and then i have and utilize the god-given intellect that i have to make my own decisions – in any matter. unlike some people here who flat out said they won’t go to a certain site and read what is there because they view it as “racist.”

if i’m attempting to discuss (intelligently) a topic or matter, if i’m wanting to know what’s going on so i can better be able to tell others whether what i looked at had any veracity or not – then i’m not going to be afraid, intimidated or think i’m exercising some intelligence by refusing to read, or at least skim through, any information that’s out there about it. that’s reasonable (in my world.) that’s a sign of balance and intelligent thinking (in my world). obviously not in a lot of you all’s worlds, and that’s neither here nor there to me. i have much better and more important things to do & accomplish in the world than to spend excessive amounts of time going back & forth with you all on this. so those of you who think “i need help,” look in the mirror. it really might be you that needs it.

@ wordsmith, of course white people are not the only ones who do terrible things on the planet but again, i still say look at the history of white people on the planet. they’ve only been here a very short period of time in comparison to the ancient civilizations …… that’s fact. look at the condition of the world. we’re told there’s now a hole in the ozone layer; air, water, soil polluted. chaos all over the place and america, viewed as “the” world’s super power, when it used to be (white) england – where it used to be said the sun never set on her empire – and other (white) nations, including israel, pretty much control most of what is happening in the world, yes, including in africa which is completely divided. was it that way before colonialists had their way on that continent? who were those colonialists?

anyway, that’s why i say look at the history of white people on the planet. white people were not here in the beginning, if they/you were, there would be evidence of this but there is not. the most ancient of fossils that have been found, do not belong to white people. so, in looking at your history, where did white people come from? the NOI has a teaching on that, but if you and others don’t want to accept it, what is your explanation for where you came from? we all did not appear on the earth at the same time …. it’s not racism to teach that, it’s fact. that’s all i’m saying. look at the history (collectively) of white people on the earth. it’s not a pretty one. and this is me talking, it’s not someone else controlling my mine, it’s truth controlling my mind and coming out of me….. making some of you uncomfortable, but it’s not me you’re uncomfortable with. it’s the truth. the quran says “we hurl truth at falsehood so that, lo, it knocks out its [falsehoods] brains.]

truth. those interested in truth in this world have ALWAYS been persecuted, talked bad about, character assassinated, etc. look at the biblical story of jesus christ ….. even crucified, for telling and standing on the truth. so, those of you who are doing it, keep crucifying & vilifying min. farrakhan. in the end, you will see that he was telling the truth. and like he has said many times, “watch the weather.” the weather is tearing this country up … in some places bringing damage similar to what would be if a bomb were dropped. keep watching.

oh, and on the WMD topic ….. i remember watching the day the statue of saddam hussein was toppled, it was being shown on the news. my thoughts were that it was a set up farce & charade and i remember arguing with a talk show host, telling him that i thought it was all fake and that there probably never would be any WMD found in iraq. “there gonna find them!” he kept yelling. in listening to him – i think it was some time last year – i had to gloat a little when even he had to acknowledge that no WMD were found there.

anyway – north korea has WMD. why do you think america hasn’t attacked there? (rhetorical question). another thing min. farrkhan has said over the years, and elijah muhammad before him, said “america has won her last war.” america (and company) attacked afghanistan, a broke down, poor, militarily unsophisticated country, with muslims in it, ….. and years later, is still over there. hasn’t sealed the deal yet. america attacked iraq, a poor broke down arab country, with muslims in it, militarily unsophisticated and had a hard time there, and still not fully out. these are broke down countries but america did not have an easy time.

north korea -other than empty threats from american reps – is pretty much left alone even though posing a much bigger threat, however, that country is not muslim, and is not in the oil-rich middle east. is that why america isn’t looking for a real fight there, because they don’t see it as an ‘easy victory’ like they thought they’d have in afghanistan & iraq, and now libya /iran might be considered to be easy targets too? also, north korea isn’t near israel and therefore, israel may not be pressuring washington as much about it as they are in pushing for war with iran.
