America’s Chavez [Reader Post]

Loading

Hugo Chavez has nationalized American oil rigs, shut down 34 radio stations, is busy confiscating private property and annointed himself President for life.

America has its own Chavez.

Doug Ross reminds us that Mark Levin observed that we are as close to a dictatorship as we have ever been.

Last May, Mark Levin — the President of Landmark Legal Foundation — stated that President Barack Obama was the “closest thing to a dictator” this country had ever seen.

The list of horribles included his naked attempts to silence critics, his encouragement of voter intimidation, his support of rampant vote fraud, the implicit campaign to encourage illegal immigration, and his blatant abrogation of contract law (e.g., the GM and Chrysler bailouts).

Now, in a bold attempt to shut down the opposition media, Obama has declared Fox News the enemy of the state.

Now Obama is at it again, demonizing the most popular and trusted cable news outlet in the United States. In an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Obama made the extraordinarily un-presidential claim that Fox is “destructive to [America’s] long-term growth.”

That’s mind-boggling. Then again, Chavez also attacked Fox News.

But the list of Chavezesque plans is not complete.

Obama seeks control of the internet for “emergencies.”

The new version would allow the president to “declare a cybersecurity emergency” relating to “non-governmental” computer networks and do what’s necessary to respond to the threat. Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for “cybersecurity professionals,” and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.

And now that also includes the ability to shut down industries:

“Industries, companies or portions of companies could be temporarily shut down, or be required to take other steps to address threats,” states the report, citing concerns about an “imminent threat to the U.S. electrical grid or other critical infrastructure such as the water supply or financial network.”

Or support Republicans.

Obama has installed a shadow government of 35 czars who are unaccountable to Congress or to the American people. They include several Marxists.

Obama plans on using EPA rules to bypass Congress.

The timing of the EPA’s moves also hint at political motives. Congressman Welch believes the new policies are intended to tell Congress, “that if we don’t pass legislation, the President will not wait and will just go ahead and regulate.”

Columbia’s Heal agrees: “The EPA announcements are designed to put pressure on the Senate and on industry representatives who are pushing senators, that if they don’t act, [the EPA] will, in ways industry won’t like.”

(By the way, if you’d like to se what increasing CO2 levels do for green plants, go here)

And Obama can’t be bothered with Constitutional details.

Obama is hiring 17,000 health care mandate Schutzstaffel enforcement officers.

Barack Obama has never met a union he did not want to bailout. The head of the AFL-CIO, Richard Trumka, has called for the left wing government to take over private corporations.

And now he wants to wiretap your email.

And like Chavez, Obama has his own propaganda machine “Organizing for America.” with the self-indulgent adoration name mybarackobama.com.

We’re close. We’re very close.

Thank you to Missy, Old Trooper 2, Aye Chihuahua, Nan G, ilovebees and all the rest of my friends here at FA. This is a comfortable place on the web for me to visit. Even when I am tangling with a far leftie I feel a sense of community here. You all have been very gracious to me in my time of need and without boring the lot of you and droning on about my situation, let me suffice to say that since birth I have been battling this condition. My parents were told that were I to live to 15 years old, they would be lucky. At 47 years, 8 children and 3 grand children later, I refuse to grow up! Hell I gotta stay under 15, doncha know?! LOL

Okay, enough with the mush, let’s defend personal liberty and our founding documents – oh yeah, and let’s vote this November!

@ anticsrocks…

Illegitimi non carborundum ipso facto!

😉

@Old Trooper 2 – Rest assured I shall strive to survive!! Thanks. 8)

@anticsrocks: I have been away from the computer for a while. I helped greet the Westboro Baptist Church at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday. I stayed over for Them on Wednesday morning but they didn’t show up. I don’t know why. I used the rest of Wednesday to see the rest of the cemetery that I didn’t see when I was there during the first 9-12 protest.

We are keeping your powder dry for you. When you are ready to reload, let us know.

Smorg: I fail to understand people like Westboro. I watched the tribute to SSG Miller. There are so many men like him.

: Please try the supplement coenzyme Q 10. Your body makes it naturally when you’re young, but after you’re in your 30s, production begins to decrease. Your heart uses more of it than any other part of your body. You will not believe how much energy you will have after a month or so on this supplement. Be sure you purchase the softgels. It makes the CoQ10 more bioavailable. Also make sure the label says “from Japan.” The Japanese were the first to do major research on CoQ10 and they make the purest form on the market. Try the 200mg softgel twice a day — one at breakfast and one at dinner.

My brother had three open heart surgeries. His heart was weakened in childhood due to rheumatic fever. After the third surgery, one of his doctors couldn’t believe how well he was doing and asked if he had been taking CoQ10. My brother replied yes — but worried if he had been doing the right thing. The doctor replied, “It’s probably why you’re still alive.”

Try it for yourself and for your family.

@Randy: #164 I don’t remember which blog I read it on, but the author said that they try to get people at a funeral to hit them, then they sue the person, and that is how they make their money. I don’t know if it is true.

@Toothfairy: #165 Right now she should do ONLY what her doctor tells her to do and to take. I know you mean well, but you don’t know what medication she is on or how the supplement will react with it. It would be better to suggest that she asks her doctor about it.

Um, thankies Smorgs, but “she” is a “he.” 😳

he he

@anticsrocks: #168 Sorry. I was thinking of two people at the same time.

: I do not share your reverence for doctors. They make mega bucks shilling for the drug companies. One of the drugs pushed hardest on people is the cholesterol lowering drug Lipitor. One of its side effects is to deplete what little CoQ10 your body has left. So if you’re taking Lipitor, or any other statin, you need to supplement with C0Q10.

Notice I did not suggest a brand or a vendor.

The Japanese think so highly of this supplement that they have added it to their food supply right along with the vitamins. Side effects are very low, even at far higher doses (800mg or more) than I mentioned earlier.

I do know that I, personally, felt fatigued for a number of years before I finally listened to my mother and sister and tried CoQ10. I had the energy to put up a Christmas tree and prepare for the holidays like I used to years before — without paying a price in aches and pains for days after.

Follow-up to #170: Please look up Dr. Peter H. Langsjoen, MD. He’s a cardiologist and internal medicine practitioner in Tyler, Texas. He has also done a lot of research on CoQ10 and its benefits for the heart.

I hope this helps.

I’M 66 and believe in staying away from Drs.I’m a great believer in COQ10 and have taken it for many years

Exercise both aerobic and weight training definately delays the aging process.
Better to eat less than more, sleep 7-8 hours every night.
Keep it simple
LOVE SOMEONE

I was born with Tetralogy of Fallot so cholesterol and blockages aren’t a problem for me, fortunately. My heart problems are more on the “mechanical” side, if you will.

Even though I don’t need Lipitor, I am still checking out CoQ10, thanks for the tip!

Tetralogy of Fallot explained here and here

I don’t view doctors as all being shills for big pharma. My general practitioner (family doc) is a great guy that has nothing but the best interests at heart (no pun intended) for me and my family. He was instrumental in getting me through my rough bout with endocarditis this summer, even though he isn’t my cardiologist, his input and the decisions he made really put me in a better place to deal with my condition.

That kind of broad generalization I will leave to our friends on the left. For me, I look for good qualities in my doctor and once I find one I like, I stick with him or her. Not all docs are bad, just like not all liberals are bad. I know that is a shocker, but I actually know some decent, harmless libs. NOT MANY, but a few. lol

@Smorgs – No worries, I am secure enough in my manhood that I even hold my wife’s purse when we are at the grocery store (sometimes). 😆

@anticsrocks: #173 I always treated my wife (when I was married) like a lady. That’s how I got someone much better looking than I deserved.

anticsrocks: hi, so glad your here so soon, I am sure your a gentleman with your wife,
as you are also one always here at FA, BUT I THINK that you also are a tough guy to be able,
to recuperate so fast as hard as it can be, now it’s a good time to be positive as you are,
that’s probably your secret too, I wont tell a soul, bye
let’s get the 200 again

OLD TROOPER 2: hi, on your 160 what dictionary should I get to understand
the new tongue of yours, or was it only for anticrock to understand?
That would mean that you dont want us to know? bye

@ Ms Bees, it is a Latin term. 😉

If I translated it here I would have to wash my mouth out with soap.

OLD TROOPER 2; yes I was teasing you, I knew it could have been something like that
bye

: “Illegitimi non carborundum” means “Don’t let the bastards grind you down.” The “ipso facto” was a little flourish OT added on his own. It means “by that very fact or act.” I’m beginning to think OT is a Bugs Bunny fan.

ThootFAIRY: thank you,now I know,I was curious, and tease OT about it,
bye

Illegitimi non carborundum ipso facto!

Mi first Latin phrase: fascinating how two thousand year old phrases are still useful today.

…yes, a two thousand year old phrase is actually MORE useful than the present occupier of the Oval Office.

anticsrocks: YES walk slow, don’t lift even smallest weight, your body need to put all those
soldiers that we have also called HEALERS, in ALERT MODE,on only one MISSION,
SO don’t interfier with them, for a time, as long as it take; and you’ll have soon forget about the pain, right now only time will do his job, if you let it.
bye, stick with us and check the 200, bye

@ilovebeeswarzone:

More of our sweet Ms Beez words of wisdom, the good caring and sharing type.

But. a little birdie told me that anticsrocks will be leading the cattle drive in Montana, filling in for OT while he’s busy doing the country’s business. Just kidding and waiting for more good news. If it’s good, fill us in we are so ready for good news.

Best to you antics, we want you to get stronger with each day that passes and we also want OTs cattle to get to where ever he wants them, so, hurry up. 😉

Thanks to all of you. I am doing pretty good. I have a follow up visit this Thursday. Each day I get a bit stronger and can do more, but rest assured I am following the doctor’s orders. My wife wouldn’t let me get away with anything else, anyway. 😀

@anticsrocks: #185 I would love to have somebody to help take care of me. When I had my two stints put in my artery the doctor told me I didn’t have any restrictions except not to over do things. I was in Washington DC the day after I was released from the hospital for the original 9-12 protest. I didn’t want to just sit someplace. I wanted to walk around and show off my “Bag of tea” outfit and see as many of the other signs and outfits as I could. I am glad I did. I got a lot of pictures of some creative signs.

If I had a wife I am sure she would have told me not to go, but I figured a lot of you fought to keep me free in the USA, so I was going to do my little part to help the protest. I was one of the specs in the overhead pictures. I have been to several since.

SMORGASBORD: hi, I just read an clip on the adds at GOOGLE, and I like what I read,
instead of STELT,
It’s call “ANGIOPRIM” It’s an ORAL CHELATION, clean vital organs at molecular level one at a time,
opening blood artery disolve plaques, no operation needed, no residus left, and nod secondery dangers of brain alteration,
I thought you might want to know, and check it up, I would think that it’s interesting for any of us to check it. bye

MISSY: hi, another of your good idea, as usual, and we have all the time we need also.
bye

anticsrocks: stick around many more are here for the 200 comment click,
we must be one step ahead of them, specialy AYE CHIHUAHUA, he can be quite fast like an ARROW. good day and best to your wife, keep listening to her advices.

@ilovebeeswarzone: #187 Thanks for the info, but I am very careful about the medicine and supplements I take. I am 64 years old and have heard of many products that are SUPPOSED to do certain things. The problem is they are not tested by the Food And Drug Administration so we only have the maker’s word on how well it works and what it does. Different times I have heard about a supplement that was found to have dangerous chemicals in it, and sometimes they are found to react to certain foods or medicine. I also want to know where they are made.

SMORGASBORD: hi, yes your right, as I read that info, it seems so true, and natural too, they where supported by many thousand believers too, those adds come at GOOGLE,
they disappear if you move to something else, and I seldom stop to check, if I stop It’s because it took my attention on a word sometimes. the thing was it saves the person from an operation, that one grab my attention. bye

anticsrocks; hi we have now after this one 8 to go, check it up,
that will be your second 200, making you a unequal champion. bye

LOL, ilovebees. You rock my friend. 😀

anticsrocks, yes, only with my good friends, hope you have a good lazy day
best to you and your loves one.
6 to go bye

yes there is a noted ressemblance with CHAVEZ, what is it with OBAMA ?,
he bows to other questionable leaders, and denye the demands of ARIZONA to close the borders
to criminals, and AMERICA HATERS, and drug dealers, and sick foreigners who are sure to spread diseases to AMERICANS, and much more; there is no way a president can say he care
FOR AMERICA.

Simple ilovebees, the big “O” was raised by America haters, so he has that ingrained into his very being. Look at that racist, un-American church he attended for two decades.

anticsrocks: hi, we can see the time is ripe to chops the chicken head for NOVEMBER soups,
as it’s getting too cold for them; by doing it, we also in the same time spare them a death by freezing their ASS-ets
good day.

Well put ilovebees. You DO have a way with words!

anticsrocks; you too; come back hurray

Did I hear someone call me?

200

AYE CHIHUAHUA, I knew you would be swift like an arrow and I did not see you around so I thought anticsrocks
