This was a pretty good show yesterday. Even the semi lefty from NPR Mara Liasson (of the wierd blinky owl eye goodness) was sticking to O on his Asia trip.

However, he was named “Miss Congeniality” at the World Rumpkissing Finals for which he’ll be able to bring home the famed Golden Kissy Lips Trophy. You can’t say he didn’t get anything.
What did he expect when he kept wearing that “Kick Me” sign all over the globe? It was only a matter of time before he was personally disrespected — not just symbolically as the leader of the U.S.

Yeah . . . Obama’s new approach contrasts with the previous administration’s approach, which was SO EFFECTIVE . . . g.f.a.f.b.
@B-Rob: Bush’s approach led to a worldwide coalition of forces to address serious security issues in both Iraq and Afghanistan. During his time in office France, Germany, Canada and Italy ALL elected more pro-American, even pro-Bush leadership.
So far, Obama has nothing to show for his attempt to bow his way to world leadership.

Nice try. But the fact remains that the Bush admiistration and the f.b.a.r. Iraq War (over non-existent w.m.d.) destroyed America’s credibility, needlessly stressed the military, and caused the Pentagon to take it’s eye off of Afghanistan.
And this is also ironic: when U.S. favorability ratings were at their alltime lowest under Bush, you cons claimed that it did not matter; you would rather be feared than liked. When Obama got the Nobel Peace prize, you claimed it was “the world” thanking him for denigrating America. But now, you take one friggin article from a SINGLE FOREIGN REPORTER and blow it up as if it is an accurate and meaningful analysis of the effectiveness of Obama’s presidency? And we are supposed to draw some damning conclusion about Obama . . . from that? How does that make any sense to you?
This from an idiot with the help of ACORN elected Al Frankin, and he’s ROFLing. Pathetic!
It wasn’t just Der Speigel that noted the holes in the USS Obama, we have also been treated to a less than stellar opinion of the Weapon of Mass Taxation from a Japanese periodical that Curt posted about earlier. Our guys(obvious skeleton crew) were yawning and falling asleep during meetings. Are we to believe they were taking the country’s foreign policy seriously? Apparently not. Sheesh, what an embarassment!
By the time he got to Singapore, we hear the pretender was grumpy, what, no one fed that ego?
Appears that all that worldview that was to be improved when the manchild was elected only resulted in some major disrespect for “the one.”
If it wasn’t so sad I’d be ROTFLing. The big ‘O’ administration was spinning him as the “first Pacific president.” Looks like that moniker didn’t work out so well, maybe he should have drug those old greek columns over there, I hear they impressed a few just a year agol
All this, but when Sarah Palin is mentioned, we have something that is pre-programmed to immediately crawl out from under a rock and make a fool out of himself. Isn’t that funny?

I’m not saying I thing this is what happened, but, is it possible this is all just a publicity stunt? If so, it worked.
I suggest that they both submit to an IQ test. Let’s settle this stupidity question once-and-for-all.
