Its too late! It passed 217-205 with a full 30 dem defecting. Not enough though. Hopefully this abomination dies a painful death in the senate.
Senate bill contains nothing on cap and trade. Not even being considered.

You can rest assured that none of the Congress members, aside from the traitors that authored it, have read the bill. I recommend wholesale replacement of all incumbents in 2010. I feel as if it is the equivalent of Taxation Without Representation when there was no sufficient time allowed for debate on something this heinous and fraudulent. Every one of these destructive pieces of legislation are done in haste. This act of stupidity is something that I consider to be Criminal and Punitive for All of America, not to mention damage done to American Industry and Energy Production.
Will the title of Obama’s next book be “How I Destroyed America in Six Months”?
A guy that couldn’t run a Lemonade Stand and break even has been meddling with everything he can get his hands on. Todays vote on this bill could be the day that truly changed America and brought it down without firing a shot. The next American Revolution is on the way. It will most likely not have anything to do with teabags after the reality of it all sinks in.
Congress may as well stay in DC, buy homes in Virginia and Maryland because when the impact of this bill hits working class America in the form of ridiculous Utility Bills, layoffs and record unemployment, it may not be safe for them to go back home.
I spent the majority of my Adult life keeping America and Allies safe from Foreign enemies. I should have paid more attention to the Domestic ones. This is now an inside job, thanks to the 53 +% of America that voted with their @sses and not their heads.

It is going to raise taxes for these lunatics. CO2 emissions are not going to go down but my Electric company is raising my fees by 30%! It is a joke…these people have raided the public treasury. It is a disgrace and it is shameful. How can 60% of people like and enjoy this tragedy!

Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) just came over to vote for the bill! It may now pass as his change of heart is a symbolic turn!
This is by far the greatest THEIFT (and deceit) in the history of American Politics, making even the phony “stimulus” packages look like a kid’s allowance. I can only conclude that most Americans are clueless to its consequences.

Well said Old Trooper. Indeed it is the “Death of America.” We’ve been had, and most Americans don’t even have a clue; but they will! Right now the country is too busy in idol worship of Michael Jackson to much notice anything other than sex scandals.

Gee I wonder what Al Gore and NBC/GE are going to do with all THOSE STOLEN BILLIONS!
