A former fetus, the “wordsmith from nantucket” was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1968. Adopted at birth, wordsmith grew up a military brat. He achieved his B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (graduating in the top 97% of his class), where he also competed rings for the UCLA mens gymnastics team. The events of 9/11 woke him from his political slumber and malaise. Currently a personal trainer and gymnastics coach.
The wordsmith has never been to Nantucket.

LOL, the Alex Rodriguez comic is classic!! I’m gonna be passing that one along.
Wow what a list! The “Yeah we might” one was pretty funny.
Obama’s enthusiasm has waned a bit now that he is actually president. It’d be nice to see him keep that positive, can-do attitude now that he’s actually faced with the issues. A strong, confident president is what this country needs. I do disagree with many of his views but support him as president, as I have supported every president once he is in office. But he will become tougher to support the more he moves to the left and the less positive he becomes.

It wouldn’t have mattered who got the job as president. The comics would be just as good if it was the Republicans.

abc, the comics would be just as fitting if a republican got the job, but that’s largely why I don’t find these very funny. They don’t really target Obama as he’s only been in office for a little over a month now. To think that anything HE has done, which really hasn’t even seen any kind of effect yet, has caused the economic collapse is laughable.
Maybe in 8 years, comics like this will be fitting of Obama’s legacy and will be funny. But today, Obama hasn’t been around long enough to be the butt of jokes about the way things are.
