Do you know when Obama lies? When he open his mouth. This guy is a fraud and nothing he says has any meaning or value. He can say whatever he wants and he can flip-flop as many times he wants, it is still all bullshit. He is trying to play every angle here because he is scared that the truth about him will come out. And he is right, it will come out and then… bye bye PEBO!

On the surface this would seem like a good move.
In reality NASA has been out of interaction with the military too long. Giving military tech to NASA would compromise security greatly. Especially with some of the self serving politico dregs like Hansen and likely worse polluting the place.
Sigmund: You might have to up the ante on that bribe. O raised over $700 million for his campaign so he’s probably not too impressed with anything less than $100 million.
How do you think China will react when Obama starts a new arms race in space?
I think the mainlanders are still quite behind when it comes to space tech, but I really have not been following the space program so I cannot comment in any meaningful way.
Of course the use of GPS in aerial bombing is so important these days, so who can have coverage up there and block the rest will have an advantage from a military sense.
I was quite happy to see chinese guys crawling around in space, but that tech is already 40 years old. Better to push chinese private enterprise to make space profitable, like Elon Musk’s SpaceX. I would also have preferred the taikonauts to give some personal views on their venture rather than just saying what was scripted or allowed for them.
I would also have preferred the money to go to improving the rural areas, infrastructure, micro loans to rebuild the earthquake area, etc, rather than push it into space, but I don’t have a big picture of the whole country and don’t want to comment since I am not there.
Hopefully the mainlanders will not build up their wartech too fast and panic PEBO into doing things that will poke the mainlanders back into doing extra stuff and start some kind of race. I think it would be a waste of money and resources.
And PEBO seems to have a great phobia of some terrorist attack or military confrontation being the event that diminishes his power and allows his rivals or the repubs to get back in play against him.
