Stark’s Non-Apology

You might be interested in knowing that 5 Democrats voted with the Republicans on condemning Rep Stark and another 8– all reactionaries– voted “Present,” refusing to come to Stark’s defense. You can probably guess the names of the disgraceful 13 Democrats.

Those words come from one lefty site in reaction to the censure vote against Rep. Stark for his shameful, ignorant remarks last week and pretty much is representative of the reaction by all the lefty blogs out there. 

As for the vote, it failed.  Which surprised no one seeing as how the apology came after some quite bitter negotiations inside the Democrat camp over the hijacking of their “use the children for their own benefit” message….cough, sorry, I meant their SCHIP message.  Here is his “apology”:

Usually a sincere apology has three elements.  First, the I’m sorry.  Second, admitting they were wrong.  Finally, it would usually be followed up with asking for forgiveness.  He said he was sorry, he never admitted he was wrong and he did not ask for forgiveness.  So we can chalk this one up to another Democrat non-apology, of the “I’m sorry people were offended by my remarks” type. 

He did get one thing right when he muttered these words:

“I hope that with this apology I will become as insignificant as I should be”

Bingo!  You and the other hate America first Democrats are an insignificant lot that needs to be forgotten, but alas our MSM does its best to ensure your type is on TV every single night.
