I was trying to decide what Ron Paul and his minions remind me of and it just suddenly hit me. The militant anti-government types. The Randy Weavers, McVeigh’s, and others who would just as much like to hide in the hills waiting for the anarchy to hit and the return to "true government".

March 9th, 2007If you Google Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth, you will no doubt stumble across many forum topics and website posts regarding their recent videos that feature 2008 Presidential Candidates Rep. Ron Paul (R – Texas) and Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D – Ohio) advocating for a new investigation into 9/11.
In response to these videos, many self proclaimed members of the 9/11 Truth Movement have said that these men are doing nothing but “pandering to the crowd” and “won’t do anything about it.” This is very disheartening, considering that these men are the only mainstream hope for 9/11 Truth. Hillary, Obama, Edwards, and Dodd have all expressed their disinterest in discussing 9/11. The fact that these men will go on the record discussing these issues with members of the truth movement should be incredibly inspiring to these arm chair critics who troll the loose change and 911 Blogger forums.
The very utterance of a call for a new investigation puts these candidate’s reputation and credibility on the line as they risk getting ripped to shreds by the abysmally ignorant opposition or the complicit media. Therefore, this negative backlash against these men is completely inappropriate and derogating. Any sensible “Truther” knows that these candidates can’t go on the television or radio and announce “9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB,” whether they believe it was or not.
Rep. Dennis Kucinich made it very clear in his second video with Student Scholars that he would like to come forward with a few undeniable facts about 9/11 and from there, widen the discussion in order to, in the words of Hillary Clinton, “Let the conversation begin!” In a candid conversation with the Student Scholars that took place off camera, he explained the various aspects of 9/11 that he’s already had his office looking into for quite some time. These are not the actions of a person who is not serious about this topic.
In regards to Rep. Ron Paul, he states twice in the Student Scholars video that he believes that the first 9/11 investigation was one in which there many “cover-ups.” Paul also claimed he “never automatically believes anything the government does when they do an investigation.” Additionally, he has been on the Alex Jones show several times. Ron Paul knows very well that something is very wrong with the official explanation of 9/1l. However, like Dennis Kucinich he cannot look right into our cameras and proclaim “9/11 WAS A SELF INFLICTED WOUND!” Through acknowledging the legitimacy of the 9/11 Truth Movement’s concerns, these candidates are expressing their support for our cause. This is much more than the more mainstream candidates will do. WOAH! Just got a flashback of a “Truther” being escorted out of a Hillary Clinton event by the Secret Service for quietly holding a 9/11 Truth banner.
These two men are our only hope. Think about it folks. THINK.

Like I said, they are so far right they’ve come full circle into crazyland.

First of all, I’m surprised that this many of these Ron Paul/America Firster/Truther or Not Truther loons are still out there stirring things up.
Frankly, they’re so totally irrelevant, and just a noisy bunch of nobodies.
I’ve worked in political campaigns at every level from the Court House to the White House and never once met one of these folks at a political rally, a dinner, the party booth at the fairgrounds or anywhere else.
I don’t even think they should be called right wingers. Certainly they claim to be the only “true conservatives” but they never actually do anything to support a candidate other than these fad/fringe nut jobs like Ron Paul who pop out of the woodwork every so often.
Oh, and for the record, I’ve either met or worked for and participated in events with every top leader of the Conservative movement including:
-President Ronald Reagan
-Barry Goldwater
-William F. Buckley Jr.
-John Ashbrook
-Phyllis Schlafly
-Phil Crane
-Ed Meese
And that’s the short list. So I’m not about to take any guff from some nobody whose never done ANYTHING but go to some KKK rally and claim to be a conservative.
Finally, I think we DO need to expose and denounce these Ron Paul nuts. In doing so we illustrate a fundamental difference between ourselves and the Democrats. It’s interesting that “conservatives” now seem to trust the government implicitly. Do you trust everyone on the 9/11 commission, all those former politicians and current lobbyists? I am saddened by what is happening in our country today. Most Americans are sleeping and have been asleep far too long. While we have been sleeping our country has been hijacked.
Laws have been broken; treasonous actions of politicians are threatening the very sovereignty of this nation; laws have been passed that are strictly forbidden by our Constitution yet no one seems to realize it or have any knowledge of what is occurring in our country today.
Our corporate controlled media is feeding us loads of propaganda and hiding behind the shield of corporate interest while our country is being sold off to foreign governments.
Our national parks are under the control of the United Nations and we continue to sleep.
Our borders are wide open, in a time of war, which allows anyone, including any terrorist that may be interested in entering this nation carrying disease, weapons or for heaven sakes nukes, an open highway through our southern states and we sleep.
Our corrupt government is attempting to build a six-lane Trans Texas Corridor super highway through the middle of our country that stretches from Mexico to Canada and we sleep. This government is also passing laws to create a North American Union that joins Mexico / US / Canada together as one super state and we sleep.
They have manipulated and contorted our constitution and created a police state around us as we sleep. They have militarized our police and provided militarized weapons and training as we sleep.
They continue to print money and drive inflation through the roof, costing each of us hard earned dollars in an invisible tax and we sleep.
We have lost jobs to foreign lands and we sleep. They raise our property tax and we sleep. They take and take and take and we sleep.
There is an awareness growing across this land and it is growing like wild fire. People are starting to wake up from their slumber. They are literally appalled at what is happening and what has been occurring while we were sleeping.
If you aren’t awake yet and have not been paying attention it is very important that someone shake you and get you up to speed. Our country is in trouble and we need many more people to awaken to make the necessary changes. We must question those in power. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
