Want to see a racist love fest for a racist? Look no more:

The leader for the Nation of Islam spent yesterday with fellow racists like Anita Baker who sang the "black National Anthem", Rap Mogul Russell Simmons, and "Ice Cube":
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan on Sunday angrily denounced the war in Iraq and called for the impeachment of U.S. President George W. Bush in an appearance billed as his final public address.
“What should they do about a man who has been lying to America?” Farrakhan said. Then, turning to face Rep. John Conyers, a Michigan Democrat who chairs the House Judiciary Committee and shared the stage in Detroit, he added: “If you won’t impeach him, sanction him.”
[…]“Why did they invade Iraq? Why did they kill Saddam? Why did they kill his sons?” Farrakhan said. “The real story is Saddam Hussein became an economic threat.” […]Farrakhan also said the United States had no right to deny nuclear power to Iran, saying, “International law says Iran has that right.”He urged his almost exclusively black audience to resist the calls of U.S. military recruiters, who he said targeted young people lacking education and opportunity.
“I’m here to tell you brothers and sisters that’s the worst decision you can ever make,” he said. “This is going down, and if you join it you go down with it.”
What a lovely evil old man.
I think my favorite part was this one:
Farrakhan said on Sunday he had never been “anti-gay” or “anti-white,” saying those labels had been applied by people looking to discredit him and incite his murder.
Of course he would need to explain these remarks then:
"White people are potential humans – they haven’t evolved yet."
"They [the Jews] are the greatest controllers of black minds, black intelligence. They write the scripts – the foolish scripts on television that our people portray. They are the movie moguls that feature us in these silly, degrading, degenerate roles.
And we shouldn’t forget this one:
According to a journalist’s account, "Farrakhan called ‘the white man’ the ‘anti-Christ’ to rousing applause."
Jackson, MS, 9/19/97
No racism there. Then he wanted to offer up some books for his sheep to read:
The Anti-Defamation League noted that Louis Farrakhan concluded his Saviours’ Day address in Detroit by recommending several books for his listeners.
Among them were “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews,” which claims that the slave trade was dominated by Jews; “The Secrets of the Federal Reserve,” which claims that the world’s banks are controlled by the Jews; and Carter’s “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid,” which alleges that Israel has set up a de facto apartheid system for Palestinians in the West Bank.
Copies of “The Synagogue of Satan,” a book written by a Nation of Islam member which says that the world is being manipulated and corrupted by Satanic powers led by Jewish elites, were available for purchase at the event.
Is this poetic justice or what? Carter’s book is being touted by some of the most anti-semitic people on this planet.
Hand in hand?
