Obama may have outdone himself with his king-sized flip-flop on Iraq. Even the one of the libs at the New York Times is wondering what Obama is doing:

Only an idiot would think or hope that a politician going through the crucible of a presidential campaign could hold fast to every position, steer clear of the stumbling blocks of nuance and never make a mistake. But Barack Obama went out of his way to create the impression that he was a new kind of political leader — more honest, less cynical and less relentlessly calculating than most.

You would be able to listen to him without worrying about what the meaning of “is” is. Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s face it, McCain giving a speech with a teleprompter is not a pretty site. It is hard to believe a guy that has been in politics this long hasn’t mastered it yet, but it is what it is. Obama, of course, is the master speechifier.

But McCain is the master at town hall events. He takes all questions, from anyone, and answers them all. Sometimes he fights and argues with the person, sometimes they agree, but that is his format.

Obama says quite clearly, he will debate McCain, “Anywhere and Anytime.” Read the rest of this entry »

Obama’s big argument against drilling is that it will take 10 years to see any oil. Go to about 1:40 and he flat out says it.

As if anything that would take that long is automatically out of the question, because . . . I guess, . . . we are too . . . impatient? By that rationale, nobody should bother to go to high school or college if you want a decent job. That’ll take at least 8 years and will cost a hell of a lot of money. Read the rest of this entry »

Unlike the Democrats’ opinions about the economy, it is called the law of supply and demand because it is not open for interpretation or opinion. It is what it is. You don’t get to spin it.

The booming economies in China and India are sucking massive amounts of oil, which causes the price to rise. Federal gasoline taxes cause the price to rise. The way to lower that price is to increase supply and cut the taxes.

The Democrats won’t do it. And there can be no other reason for it than to keep the gas prices high so the voters blame the Republicans for it in November. The Democrats (not surprisingly) are punishing the American people for their own political gain. Read the rest of this entry »

This video came out, uhhh, early in the, uhhh, primaries, but now that Dr. Smooth is the, umm, presumptive nominee and more people will start, uhhh, paying attention, it may be worth a careful second look.

Warning: He’s flying solo without the Teleprompter.

He says he will have credibility in the Muslim World because he lived there. Read the rest of this entry »

As much as CNN tries to cover for the Obamessiah, even they acknowledge at the end of the report that is what he is doing. And while the story is couched in terms of “both candidates are changing,” the fact is McCain has not, and is not, changing.

Maybe Obama read this Washington Post editorial last week suggesting he would have to change his position on Iraq because (dammit) we are winning the freakin’ thing. Read the rest of this entry »

If you only watch part of this, start from about 7 min 30 sec. But it’s worth 10 minutes of your time.

Memo to Mr. Obama: This is the America your preacher damns. We ARE the good guys and sometimes, when talking doesn’t work, you just have to go kill the bad guys. Learn your history.

America does not forget her heroes.
