It’s no wonder we’re so screwed.
Barack Obama has decided that he is the king of the United States and Republicans are in meek compliance. Obama unilaterally took us to war in Libya on a false premise. Libya was never an imminent threat. Obama invoked the War Powers Act in defense of his actions but now that the 60 days has passed Obama simply declared that he will simply not abide by the law.
Liberals:
President Barack Obama concerning border safety: “Even though we’ve answered these concerns [that Republicans have raised about border security], I’ve got to say i suspect there’s still some who are trying to move the goal posts on us one more time. You know, they said ‘we needed to triple the border patrol.’ Well, now they’re going to say we need to quadruple the border patrol, or they’ll want a higher fence. Maybe they’ll need a moat. Maybe they’ll want alligators in the moat. They’ll never be satisfied.”
Christian Dorsey: “There is nothing that puts more money into the economy than unemployment benefits.”
All that stuff you hear from democrats, and Obama himself, about Bush failing to get Bin Laden and taking his eye off the ball is total crap. Obama and democrats fought tooth and nail to rip Bush’s eyes off of Bin Laden. They did their damnedest to prevent Bush from getting Bin Laden.
George Bush was dealing with 3000 dead innocent Americans in the worst attack on US soil since Pearl Harbor. He needed intel to work from. He needed information. He needed help.
Chris Matthews on Barack Obama: “You know sometimes, Gene, he has that – he didn’t have it right there – but a minute ago he had that great, that little boy smile of his, which is so winning…He brings it out.”
The words uttered by Democrats over the last few weeks are nothing short of mind boggling in their flaming hypocrisy and the more they speak the worse it gets. Some are on the edge of comical, but many are worth revisiting.
Let’s start with Howard Dean:
Harry Reid [defending federal funding for NPR]: “They had a great piece on public radio before the race started; it was really very, very good, about why the [sled dog] race takes place.”
Nancy Pelosi: “Democrats have long fought for fiscal responsibility as a top priority of this Congress. We won’t go into the history right now, but it’s well known.”
Funny thing.
If you search for Democrats’ position on Moammar Muammar Qaddafi Khaddafi Gadaffi Gadhafi Kadaffy Gaddafi, after a bit you’ll find that they have none.
Reid, Pelosi, Hoyer, Durbin- nothing. Democrats are all oddly silent, except for the loony Cynthia McKinney who gave a speech in support of Gaddafi back in 2009:
No, not this year. A democrat is President and he said he wanted high gas prices back in 2008.

New White House Press secretary, Jay Carney, when asked about the Stimulus, said, “The goals [of the Stimulus package] have been met.”
Jay Carney: “The reality, as time passed, was, the hole that we were in…was much deeper than we knew even in December or November.” Recall that the Bush recession was compared over and over and over again to the Great Depression.
DNC chairman Tim Kaine: “Governors and others in state houses across this country on the Republican side have decided what they want to do is wage a war against their own employees.”
Democrats love democracy until they are not in control. Then democracy is unfair.
Legislators in Wisconsin have left the state in order to stymie the process of a democratically elected government. The hate that has spewed from Democrats is breathtaking. Union members have even called for the death of Governor Scott Walker and signs showing Walker in a cross hairs are displayed. Difficult financial times have pierced the veneer of civility that unions and left wingers would have you think was normal.
