Once Again, the Left Blows an Opportunity to End the Debate on Climate Change (Reader Post)

By 8 Comments 872 views

Maybe I’ve been going about this all wrong. For the last few years I’ve been having fun antagonizing leftists by presenting them with inconvenient truths that expose their “science” for the religious cult that it actually is. Naturally, nobody has been able to answer any of these because their unscientific belief systems don’t support scientific methodology. Aside… Read more »

Green Chicken Hawks? [Reader Post]

By 4 Comments 282 views

Yes, it’s time to go back to one of my old favorite topics that I haven’t dedicated any posts to in a while – Global Warming! I haven’t written about it lately because there really hasn’t been too much I can add that I haven’t already mentioned, such as why the issue of GW is based… Read more »

Study Proves – Watching CNN and MSNBC Makes You Stupid! * [Reader Post]

By 27 Comments 1,624 views

* Actually, there isn’t one. This is another one of those subjects I wanted to write about a few months ago but it fell on my back burner. Every so often we see some new study that “proves” that Fox News viewers are stupid. The latest one that came out a few weeks ago proved that… Read more »

Democrats for Romney? [Reader Post]

By 69 Comments 1,142 views

This post is for all of the lefties out there, or for anyone who has a favorite lefty friend still convinced that that an Obama re-election will ultimately make them happier than if Romney were to win on Tuesday. There are a lot of issues that are driving your decision to vote for Obama. We know that there’s the right to pay for the contraception for future one percenters, hating chicken sandwiches, making our country a welcome home to illegal immigrants, telling us how much salt or sugar we’re allowed to consume, or ensuring the right to cast fraudulent votes. Do you know why you care about these issues? Because you can.

Who Are You Calling an Extremist? [Reader Post]

By 30 Comments 669 views

This might have happened recently or it might just be the “Frog in a pot of boiling water” effect, but the recent controversy around Chick Fil A and gay marriage made me notice how that debate fits into a bigger picture. I’ve read articles, seen blog posts, and seen tons of electrons spilled on Facebook1 over the Chick Fil A / Gay Marriage issue. I’ve noticed that a great deal of the leftist sentiment often uses carefully crafted language to define their opponents’ positions – “against gay rights”, “anti-gay”, or my personal favorite, “Extreme anti-gay”.

Green energy meets cold reality [Reader Post]

By 51 Comments 1,183 views

Wind power supplies about 2% of the energy in the US and in 2009 that was expected to rise to 20% by 2030. The construction of wind farms is buoyed by the 30% tax credit for investment in them but the price for electricity generated by wind energy has fallen recently in to rates below those for electricity generated by natural gas in some areas.

2010: The hottest year on rec…….never mind [Reader Post]

Years ago near to where I live there my family and I frequented a Chinese restaurant whose food was excellent. With amusement we noted that many of the meals were described as

“Our chef’s most favored dish.”

So when I read an article about the climate and it contains the phrase

The EPA waivers begin [Reader Post]

By 16 Comments 620 views

And you’ll never guess who got one.

The Obama adminstration has issued over 700 waivers granting employers exemptions from participating in Obamacare. Among them is the SEIU, which lobbied hard to have Obamacare implemented so health care costs would be lowered. Now SEIU is exempt because complying with the new cost-lowering law would be too expensive. The SEIU contributed $28 million to the Obama campaign but has no money for Obamacare compliance.

Obama’s run: killing many birds with two stones [Reader Post]

By 8 Comments 581 views

The plot of the movie Logan’s Run has been summarized by one writer in this manner: In the 23rd century, the survivors of a holocaust now lives within a domed city that is sealed off from the outside world. In the domed city, men and women live in a society where you can only live… Read more »
