The New York Times thinks the inmates have taken over the asylum in planning the Democrat Convention in Denver. It started out a week ago with the DNC Food Nazis telling everyone what they can and cannot eat (nothing new there). In this post, Idiot, Control-Freak, Do-Gooder Liberals, it was noted.
Warning to Southern delegates to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver this August: it will be a no-fry zone.
As part of the effort to make the August 25-28 convention the greenest ever, the Democrats’ guidelines for food catering include one that strikes at the heart of Southern cuisine: no fried food.

The DNC’s key role in coordinating political operations with state parties is expected to largely be taken over and overseen by Obama’s senior staff in Chicago, state party officials said.
I realize that the nominee, as the head of the party, gets to call the shots at the DNC. And the inside baseball angle of staffers being ticked off at losing their jobs is news in and of itself. But the breadth, depth, and wholesale nature of the takeover of the party apparatus seems extreme. DNC staffers who don’t move to Chicago are gone. Those that make the move will answer directly to Obama’s hand picked generals. No discussion. No dissension. Read the rest of this entry »
So the Democrats have chosen their nominee.
He didn’t win the popular vote.
She has earned more votes than anyone in the history of the Democratic primaries-more than 17 million. And when the primaries conclude on Tuesday, Hillary will maintain her popular vote advantage.
They did not count all the votes. Read the rest of this entry »
