Obama’s Incomprehensible Vision

America resoundingly rejected the Obama agenda, handing the Republican Party the strongest presence and power in government across America it has had since the Depression, and yet Obama travels the world in denial. Denial and blame. Denial, blame, and a bewildered vision. Seemingly oblivious that he was standing at pulpits in foreign sovereignties, Obama has continued his divisive rhetoric. Apparently incapable of introspection, denying realities weighing on middle Americans, accepting no responsibility, blaming Clinton for a historic political loss, agitating for a new breed of community organizer, and blindly promoting globalism, he continued his attack on America.

Obama and Pope Francis vs. America’s Middle Class?

We await a heavy-handed anti-capitalist measure of therapy about to be unleashed on the world from the supreme seat of power, the Oval Office, as two world leaders link their voices, trumpeting the global redistribution of wealth. The Argentinian Pope, Pope Francis, with as much pomp and pageantry as this Administration can muster, will be revered and burnished by our uninformed and un-inquisitive media.

The Fiscal Cliff – Setting the stage for a Revolutionary War of Ideas… If the GOP has the stomach for the fight [Reader Post]

Two weeks ago a slight majority of Americans voted for more stuff from the government. There may have been other drivers, but that is the main one. Below is a quote whose origin is disputed, but it is particularly apropos:

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy.

Three Cheers for Income Inequality [Reader Post]

One can’t but hear the almost daily drumbeat from the left about how unequal things are in the United States. There is an income disparity between the haves and the have-nots where Wall Street bankers take millions of dollars home to their Greenwich mansions while millions of others work for minimum wage and can’t afford their own home, never mind something resembling a mini-Versailles.

Greed vs. Giving… Trickle down charity is a recipe for real long term success [Reader Post]

Rush Limbaugh caused a bit of a stir recently when he asked the question: “What do you think has fed more mouths, greed or charity?” The question seemed particularly untoward given that Christmas was right around the corner. Who besides Gordon Gekko might ask such a ludicrous question? Rush, obviously… and it turns out that it’s not such a ludicrous question after all.
