Barack Obama has decided that he is the king of the United States and Republicans are in meek compliance. Obama unilaterally took us to war in Libya on a false premise. Libya was never an imminent threat. Obama invoked the War Powers Act in defense of his actions but now that the 60 days has passed Obama simply declared that he will simply not abide by the law.
Barack Obama learned of Osama Bin Laden’s whereabouts in August of 2010. It has been reported that the intelligence was “solid” by mid-February. The mission to kill Bin Laden did not take place until May 2. Immediately after the raid the accolades began flowing from the White House to the White House, and it was noticed:

We live in a Bizarro world at the moment. Good is bad, down is up and night is day. The Obama zombie supporters voted for a candidate who was against rendition, warrantless wiretapping, indefinite detention, black prisons and military tribunals and they have gotten the diametric opposite. They now applaud him and themselves, covered in the slime of their denials that all the infrastructure leading to the death of Osama Bin Laden was set in place by George W. Bush and that, from a foreign policy perspective, Barack Obama has become Barack Bush.
“we don’t need to spike the football,” said Barack Obama in regard to the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. Then Obama went out and spiked the football at Ground Zero and elsewhere.
Obama addressed the troops at Fort Campbell
(Reuters) – President Barack Obama, basking in U.S. public approval for the killing of Osama bin Laden, flew to a military base in Kentucky on Friday to thank special forces who carried out the deadly raid and led a rally filled with cheering troops.
As he rightly congratulated all those involved in the mission, Obama could not avoid the first person reference:

“We don’t trot out this stuff as trophies” said Obama.

All that stuff you hear from democrats, and Obama himself, about Bush failing to get Bin Laden and taking his eye off the ball is total crap. Obama and democrats fought tooth and nail to rip Bush’s eyes off of Bin Laden. They did their damnedest to prevent Bush from getting Bin Laden.
George Bush was dealing with 3000 dead innocent Americans in the worst attack on US soil since Pearl Harbor. He needed intel to work from. He needed information. He needed help.
The tip that led to the death of Osama Bin Laden came from a Gitmo detainee:
