Video: Gun Control Supporters Do NOT Want ‘Gun-Free Zone’ Signs on Their Homes

Michael Hausam:

It’s fun to see hypocrisy in action and exposed to the light of day.

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas just released a video and this is exactly what happened. Under the name Citizens Against Senseless Gun Violence, a group of citizen journalists set out to see if those in Washington D.C. and New York who actively opposed the rights described in the 2nd Amendment would practice what they preach.

The question was simple: Would you be OK with putting a “Gun-Free Zone” sign up at your home?

They approached those who have been very vocal in support of the Democrat “sit in” in the House of Representatives:

As you can imagine, the responses they received did NOT align with their oft-stated political statements, such as this one by Charles Rangel (D-NY):

Gun Free zone signs attracts crinimals of all kind becuase they know a gun free zone is where they can rob,rape,murder amd loot without fear of being shot STUPID PATHETIC LIBERALS

Years ago in the UK home invasions were so common that rules were set for how the victims ought to act (so as not to be sued by the robber!)
You were supposed to cower in a corner, point to where the valuables were, not look at the perp, and otherwise cooperate in every way!
Putting a ”This is a Gun-Free Home” sign on the front lawn is an open invitation, even liberals refuse to do.

Would firearm advocates want a sign on their house advising criminals that there’s a gun inside, so they’ll know it’s in there to be stolen?

No? It must be some sort of hypocrisy, or maybe a double standard regarding signs.

Around 200,000 guns were stolen last year. They’re a very popular burglary target: Guns Reported Stolen, Missing: State Totals

@Greg:
How often I have seen these:
Forget the Dog, Beware of Owner
(Note, the GUN?)
Warning!
Dog Bites!
Owner Shoots!

(Again, note the gun?)
And then these:

Notice his stupid blank expression and the picture of Hillary in the background and when translated the sign reads THIS HOME IS INHABITED BY BRAINLESS PINHEADS AND LIFELONG DEMACRATIC VOTERS

You’re hillarious, Spurwing.

Don’t you know who that is, with the “stupid blank expression, and the picture of Hillary in the background?”

My house has been broken into twice.. Both times they took the TV xbox cash and jewelry..

You know what they left both times ?? My guns that they found when they ransacked the bedrooms..Police told me because state prosecutors will not plea deal on stolen guns the way they do for other items, crooks leave them alone if they look legal..Maybe all states should do that .

@Greg:

Probably not, since the left has already tried that, with predictable results.

Why does the left engage in such risky behavior that it is KNOWN would result in the very outcomes they pretend to oppose? Could it be that they WANT the very violence they pretend to decry because it furthers their political agenda?

Yeah, no surprise that liberals feel that “gun free zones” are a great idea… just keep those death traps away from where they live.

@Greg: I have a Ignore the Dog, Owner carries a gun sign on my house. The guns are all in the safe except for the one I carry with me in the car and on my person. I also stash some around the house when I return home. My neighbors also practice a similar routine. We have a very low crime rate. Exceeding the 30 MPH limit accounts for most crimes except for the one man who rides a bicycle after having too many drinks.

As usual, Greg, you missed the point of the video. Would someone please point out the point for Greg. He makes me weary!
