Monday at the G-7 Summit in Germany, President Barack Obama said after months of engaging ISIS in an air war over Iraq and Syria while supposedly building up an international coalition to fight them on the ground in the absence of U.S. ground troops, the Administration does not “yet have a complete strategy.”
Obama said, “We’re reviewing a range of plans for how we might do that, essentially accelerating the number of Iraqi forces that are properly trained and equipped and have a focused strategy with leadership. When a finalized plan is presented to me by the pentagon, then I will share it with the American people. We don’t yet have a complete strategy because it requires commitments on the part of the Iraqis as well, about how recruitment takes place, how that training takes place. so the details of that are not yet worked out.”

This means that Obama has finally concluded that the only way to undo the disaster he created is with US military force and he will NOT do that. He cannot make the admission that his premature pull out of US forces from Iraq led to this mess.

But Daniel Greenfield at Frontpage Mag believes Obama WANTS to fail at least against ISIS and all Islamists.

@Nanny G: As a leader, one has to be willing to face down threats. Obama not only is no leader, but he is not willing to face a threat unless he has all his exits and excuses covered, which is absolutely impossible in foreign affairs. Obama is more worried about his political fortunes than being an able leader and steward of our country. And, of course, he is all too aware of how intolerant some can be if a mistake, even an honest mistake, is made in the use of military force.
So, to avoid personal embarrassment, Obama seems more than willing to just let the problems fester until an able adult takes over that is willing to do what is necessary to maintain US national security and peace in the world.
If an incoming missile or missiles were detected aimed at the US, would Obama have the nerve to stop them and launch a retaliatory attack? He wouldn’t have days or weeks to decide.
