From one Vietnam Vet to another, RIP Peace Sir!

GOD BE WITH YOU GENERAL NORMAN SCHWARKOPF,
I did follow part of his carreer ,I thought he was a GREAT GENERAL,

Very bad news. A great field general whose type is sorely missed. America lost a true patriot.

Old school soldiers are passing-and there are no replacements.

SemperFi brother………….

Another combat general gone – to be replaced by yet another (Col Hackworth described) Perfumed Prince of the Pentagon. What a shame…..

At first Jay Carney issued an official statement on the General’s passing.
Then, somewhat later, either someone made it clear, or someone realized that it should be THE PRESIDENT who makes the official statement from the White House regarding this great man’s passing.
So they changed who made that statement.
They put Obama’s name on it.
