Benjamin Netanyahu: “You Don’t Murder A Sleeping Child For Peace”

Jay Caruso:

Hallel Yaffa Ariel was only 13 years old. A teenage Palestinian pile of crap sneaked into the house she lived, into her bedroom, and stabbed her to death. Mohammed Tarayra, 17, was shot and killed by IDF while still in the house. May he never rest in peace.

The worst part is, Ariel was a duel national of both Israel and the United States.

She was an American.

As Streiff pointed out earlier today, what did President Obama have to say about this crime?

Nothing. Not a word. Zero. Zip. Zilch.

Thankfully, Benjamin Netanyahu did. Just like after the Orlando terror attacks where Barack Obama spent most of his time railing about gun control, Netanyahu actually displayed true leadership. He did so again by condemning this murder in no uncertain terms. Watch:

Some of what he said:

“This morning a terrorist sneaked into the bedroom of a 13-year-old girl, Hallel-Yaffa Ariel. He murdered young Hallel in cold blood. A picture of her blood stained room is almost too hard to see. There’s a teddy bear still on her bed, a red beanbag chair, some pictures on the wall, shoes tightly packed in a bin next to her bunk bed.

“Why would any person do this?

“You don’t murder a sleeping child for peace. You don’t slit a little girl’s throat to protest a policy you don’t like.

“You do this because you’ve been brainwashed. You’ve been brainwashed by a warped ideology that teaches you that this child isn’t human.

“We will not let barbarism defeat humanity.

“There’s no middle ground between beautiful Hallel and her unspeakably evil murderer.

“Today, each of us is going to fight back.

I ask you to walk into your child’s bedroom before they go to sleep. I ask you to hug them. I ask you to kiss them.

“Teach them that the values that Hallel’s murderer most detested – freedom, diversity, pluralism – will never die; we’ll always hold them dear. Tell them that we will never let fear, evil and terror triumph; that we will always stand for justice. And this is how we will fight back.

“We fight back first by fighting back, fighting the terrorists, fighting their backers, fighting those who incite for such murder, whether in Hebron or in Orlando, or in Berlin, or in Ankara, or in Belgium, anywhere.

“We fight back by making sure that our collective moral compass doesn’t waver even a millimeter.

“Today we will cherish Hallel’s memory. We will defend and honor her dignity by redoubling our efforts around the world to defeat the scourge of radical Islamist terror.

“May Hallel’s memory forever be a blessing.”

That, President Obama, is true leadership.

Obama, in the winter of 2004 at a gathering in Chicago’s Hyde Park, to Ali Abunimah, a rabid anti-Israel Moslem journalist:

Obama came in from the cold and took off his coat, I went up to greet him.
He responded warmly, and volunteered, “Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race. I’m hoping when things calm down I can be more up front.” He referred to my activism, including columns I was contributing to the The Chicago Tribune critical of Israeli and US policy, “Keep up the good work!”

I have no reason to doubt Ali with regards Obama’s words.
All of a sudden the way Obama’s daughters are mirroring dead girls is gone.
Yet, this little American girl was as much like Obama’s daughters as any dead black teen girl in Chicago.

I see the demaccraps want Obama the Fink to run for 3th term I tell theres no fix for Stupid and the Stupid Jackass Party and way beyond of any hope of recovery from demacratic stpidty

Netanyahu, is a statesman. Perhaps the only statesman on the international stage that isn’t wrapped up in Leftist ideology and or corruption.

The floor is open to counter arguments.

Obama would have reacted, even though the murder weapon was a knife, with a demand for more gun control. The victims and survivors be damned, never let a tragedy go to waste (to paraphrase a bit).

@Spurwing Plover:
You do realize that it is impossible for him to have a 3rd term ????

Is there any tragic thing that can happen in this f-cked up, broken world that you don’t somehow believe is the fault of Barack Obama, or that some people aren’t willing to exploit in an effort to further their own dysfunctional political agenda?

@Spurwing Plover:
Here is a toughie for you Plover
Realistically it doesn’t look good for Trump in 2016: would you rather have Obama get a 3rd term or Hillary her first term ?

@Greg: Who blamed Obama?

I was commenting on the enthusiasm of some to exploit any tragic event.

Obama would have reacted, even though the murder weapon was a knife, with a demand for more gun control. The victims and survivors be damned, never let a tragedy go to waste (to paraphrase a bit).

Obama has brought up the topic of gun control on specific occasions when some nut case who shouldn’t have been allowed easy access to firearms has engaged in mass murder with a firearm he had easy access to.

When is the appropriate time for him to talk about this? At the annual lighting of the White House Christmas tree? Does the NRA not recognize that freedom of speech allows the President of the United States to articulate what a majority of Americans are thinking?

@Greg: I thought you LIKED exploiting a tragedy for political purposes? Oh… that’s only when Obama does it, using one tragedy to inappropriately advance his gun control agenda while ignoring others, which are due to his support of criminal illegal immigrants.
