Because of course: Dems boo prayer at mention of Hillary

Ed Morrissey:

And not just the prayer, either, but let’s start there. Hey, Democrats booed God four years ago, so they’re at least improving their aim a little:

“Hallelujah”? Dr. Cynthia Hale might have done better to ask for mercy from the Lord, because she certainly received very little from the assembled delegates. What a disaster.

And it continued, too. Democrats finally convinced Debbie Wasserman Schultz to take a powder rather than create an excuse for a floor demonstration at their national convention, but the replacement chair of the convention — Marcia Fudge — fared no better. NBC News caught the cascade of boos that rained down as Fudge gaveled the convention to order:

Ah, the best laid plans of mice and men, eh? By the way, Fudge wants everyone to know that she had been selected to gavel the convention all along:

U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge said Monday that she was picked as permanent chair of the Democratic National Convention weeks before Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned.

“I was asked weeks ago. I just kept it quiet,” the Warrensville Heights Democrat told reporters at an Ohio Democratic National Convention delegation breakfast.

Wasserman Schultz was initially slated to preside over the convention as DNC chair, according to media reports. However, Wasserman Schultzannounced Sunday that she will resign as chair when the convention ends, as a result of leaked emails that appear to show top DNC aides strategizing against U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary.

As permanent chair, Fudge will gavel each day of the convention to order and to close, as well as maintain order as Democrats vote to nominate former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president and U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia for vice president.

Er … suuuuuuure you were. Anyway, Fudge wasn’t too happy about her reception.

“We are going to have a different kind of convention than the one we saw in Cleveland last week,” Fudge promised. And hey, Democrats are already delivering that! It’s an even bigger cluster-you-know-what than anything we saw last week, including the Ted Cruz speech. At least Republicans weren’t booing the nominee.

Update (AP): I need to run to the store and grab some popcorn and beer right now.

How frightened are Democrats of this looming fiasco?

And to think, just a couple weeks ago Debbie WS was telling Rence P she was available to help him better organize a convention.
But funnier even than that is the LIES!
Just count the lies in this Hot Air article.
Lots.

The Convention begins and they have cheerleaders, the rah rah chant…. Hell no DNC we wont vote for Hillary.
And a plaugerized chant, Lock her up.
I guess Obama is correct we are not as divided as we think.

I think Bernie Sanders’ speech just put an effective end to any serious problems with Democratic Party division. The guy is a mensch. It’s not about his ego. It’s about his principles.

Meanwhile, Trump flies over the convention center, dropping mindless tweets like pigeon sh-t:

“Bernie Sanders totally sold out to Crooked Hillary Clinton. All of that work, energy and money, and nothing to show for it! Waste of time.”

“Elizabeth Warren, often referred to as Pocahontas, just misrepresented me and spoke glowingly about Crooked Hillary, who she always hated!”

“Sad to watch Bernie Sanders abandon his revolution. We welcome all voters who want to fix our rigged system and bring back our jobs.”

Sanders evidently had considerable influence on the DNC platform. His agenda has officially become part of the party agenda.

The best line of the night:
“We’re Democrats, and we need to act like it,” Fudge said.
And then she flubbed it by not adding:
“Oh, wait, we are!”

The demacratic lemmings running over the cliff in single file

The Democrats have so many elitist Hollywood friends, why didn’t they get them to put on a production convention where they look dignified and competent instead of how they really are?

Where are the American Flags, non being waved in the audience non on the stage
Perhaps the flags ended up in the same place where thousands of unused flags from the Democratic National Convention 2008 were found…in garbage bags?
2008 hmm who was nominated that year…is that the year that the Democrats began to hate America so much that not a single flag can now be visible on main stage?
Are these dumb asses (their symbol) worthy of the office?
Its not that they are flag unaware as 49 state flags proudly fly in front, I let you google what flag is missing and why, just kick that state out of the union.
But a Soviet and Palestinian flags that are shown, not as offensive as the state flag they removed.
No wonder those Veterans that do not embrace the Republican ideology go 3rd party, rather than vote for unamerican ideology.

Once the media showed candidate Obama not saluting the flag and not wearing a flag pin, he all-of-a-sudden started doing both.
I’ll wager the Dems will sport an American flag or two tonight as a result of the bad press.@kitt:

@Nanny G: So a simple oversight by Debbie? And all the little socialists will turn in their Bernie signs for little flags?

@Nanny G: Up to the convention, the Democrats try to out-socialism each other to get the nomination. The far, far left is who that cater to. Once the nominating is over, they have to appeal to Americans, so out come the flags and lapel pins.

Their hacked emails reveal what they really think of their lemmings, though.
