The Antarctic sea ice area anomaly has been increasing at a rate of half a million km² per year. If this alarming trend continues, the planet will be completely covered with Antarctic ice in 1,000 years. The Australian coral reefs will freeze to death in less than 300 years.

Since the Earth is warming, this must be dry ice that is spreading.

This graph would be more effective if it had a gradual slope, then towards the end showed a sharp increase. You know, like a golf club, or better yet, maybe like a hockey stick.

OMG! Everyone needs to run out and buy a big honkin’ SUV and start driving everywhere. Not only will it stave off global freezing, it will put all the auto workers back to work. 😉
