A week ago Saturday may wife, my sister, my brother-in-law and I drove into New York City for a meal at Carmine’s on 44th and 6th. We’ve been there many times and always have a great time. One needs to understand how the food is served (family style) before ordering and and that you’ll need a suitcase to carry home the leftovers but it is dependably terrific.

During the Presidential campaign it became quote apparent that Barack Obama was a big fan of Jay Z and Beyonce. As of September 14 Obama had tweeted more about Beyonce and Jay Z than he had about Benghazi.

Just one of President Barack Obama’s last 47 tweets from his official campaign account mentioned the crisis unfolding in the Middle East or the four Americans who lost their lives in a fiery attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on Tuesday.

Barack Obama dropped in for a cup of coffee along the Jersey shore with his new BFF Chris Christie and got what is really the only thing he wanted from that visit- a photo-op. A chance to appear as though he cared. A chance to look Presidential. A chance to appear as though he was doing his job.

Valerie Plame is still alive [Reader Post]

The thing is, Valerie Plame is still alive. She has written a book, enjoyed endless TV appearances and even had a movie made about her.

Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty are dead. No movies, no TV appearances, no books.

Tyrone Woods was calling for help. Someone ordered that help to “stand down.”

And the press could not care less why.
