Before you swear and look for a cyber rock to throw, read and contemplate the wisdom of nursery rhymes that have withstood the test of time. Now the can be applied to the Obama administration in frightful clarity.

Obama’s Election:

Little Jack Horner
Sat in the corner
Eating a Christmas Pie;
He put in his thumb,
And pulled out a plum,
And said, What a good boy am I

Little Barack Obama
Cursed by his mama’s drama
Given the Affirmative Action pie
He admired himself and learned to lie
He won the election plum
I can win, no matter how dumb

A Wartime President’s Confusion:

I’m the king of the castle,
Get down you dirty rascal.
I don’t care if there is a war
I’m so busy, and generals are a boor
I’ve won a Nobel Peace Prize
What’s war to me, but excuses and lies

Yankee Doodle

Yankee Doodle came to town
Riding on a pony
He stuck a father in his cap
And called it macaroni

Before the American Revolution, the British troops ridiculed the American colonials for their country ways and dress. The Americans had a habit of wearing a feather in their hats and their hair was often unruly. The British troops were required to keep their hair tied at the back in a small pony tail, this pony tail was referred to as macaroni and thus the British regular considered it far superior to an American’s typical hairstyle. Thus the song was written by British troops to embarrass the colonials with their rustic hairstyle and appearance.

At the Cornwallis surrender, the American band played Yankee Doodle while the British soldiers surrendered their rifles, in an effort to add insult to injury.

Barack Obama came to DC town
Riding a train like a foolish clown
Pretending he was Lincoln
Right then, I stopped believe’n

Ring Around The Rosie

Ring-a-round the rosies
A pocketful of posies
Ashes, Ashes
We all fall down

This was a game devised by children to make light of people dieing of the Black Plague, in the early 17th century, during the time while Shakespeare was putting on his plays in the Globe Theater. People who contracted the disease would fall ill suddenly, the first indication was an appearance of red rings with pustules in the center, the person would then become dizzy and walk in a circle and fall over dead. To combat the disease, people carried posies and ashes, if these failed, death at least came very quickly. The streets of London were littered with so many dead that special wagons were hired to haul away the bodies. Children will be children and the game is still played today, but without the ghoulish knowledge of the past.

Ring Around Rosie

Obama leads us on a fool’s game
Trust in me, George, he was so lame
I’ve got him to lay all the blame
With lemmings and fools I play, tis all the same

It’s ring around the Marxist
And you be racist if you resist
now we hold hands and sing Obama’s creed
And if you want to be rich or have a need
You can now be a Socialist indeed

Ring around the rosie
Ashes, ashes and we all fall down

Queen of Hearts:

The Queen of Hearts
She made some tarts
All on a summer’s day;
The knave of Hearts
He stole the tarts,
And took them clean away.

Queen of Hearts, Revised:

Our Queen of Hearts
Came to DC to get a head start
Her husband so wily and dull
Can rewrite history in minute detail
Especially if Bill Ayers ain’t in jail
Stand aside, let a woman throw the bull

Glenn Beck on the resignation of Van Jones in which he rightly asks why the only thing that brought down Van Jones was his 9/11 truther background. Why didn’t his past as a “rowdy black nationalist” who founded the group “Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement” raise any alarms? Hell, in STORM’s manifesto they declare their commitment to the “fundamental ideas of Marxism-Leninism.”

Uh….still no alarms?

How about his proclamation that he was a Communist?

Nope…still no alarms.

When Beck started taking the fight against these loons in the Obama administration the MSM yawned. When news came out that Van Jones was a truther, the MSM yawned….until the citizen journalists did their job for them and wouldn’t let go.

As Beck asked…why in the hell did the MSM, the supposed watchdogs, not take notice when all the other Marxist/Communist stuff came out?

Ya think this would of been different with a Republican administration? What kind of shrill cries would of emitted from the left and the MSM if someone in a Republican administration was found to have ties to some loony far right organization?

Oh, and when the nut resigns all Obama can say is he is sorry to see him go. He won’t disavow Van Jones beliefs. Shocker!

Here is Beck with Michelle Malkin on the guy who is taking over for Van Jones and Obama’s ties to radicals:

And now Beck has his sights on another unbelievable situation: (Via Ace of Spades HQ)

I’m guessing it’s the National Endowment of the Arts’ conference call urging the beneficiaries of taxpayer largesse to make propaganda art for Obama.

I thought of that because even George Will said of that, paraphrased, I don’t know what laws were broken here, but I’m sure some were.

(If that’s it, I really doubt anyone’s going to jail, even if laws were broken. Bear in mind who the nation’s top prosecutor is.)

Well, someone SHOULD go to jail over that revelation….but won’t. And we all know why.

“Author and Distinguished Professor of Education and Senior University Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago.” is how they describe this terrorist.

Imagine the outrage if a conservative rag gave space to say a abortion clinic bomber. Oh boy, the skies would of been lit up. But hey, throw up a Weather Underground member who once spoke about bringing this country to its knees via terrorism and its no problem.

Looking at the piece you read how the terrorist rails against Bush for daring to institute some kind of testing of school qualification. My favorite part has to be when he muses on who he would pick for cabinet positions in a Obama Presidency:

So I would have picked Darling-Hammond, but then again I would have picked Noam Chomsky for state, Naomi Klein for defense, Bernardine Dohrn for Attorney General, Bill Fletcher for commerce, James Thindwa for labor, Barbara Ransby for human services, Paul Krugman for treasury, and Amy Goodman for press secretary. So what do I know?

Real winner eh?

It’s basically the same old tired screed of needing more taxpayers money, grades are bad, and tests are evil:

Educators, students, and citizens must press now for an education worthy of a democracy, including an end to sorting people into winners and losers through expensive standardized tests which act as pseudo-scientific forms of surveillance; an end to starving schools of needed resources and then blaming teachers and their unions for dismal outcomes; and an end to the rapidly accumulating “educational debt,” the resources due to communities historically segregated, under-funded and under-served. All children and youth in a democracy, regardless of economic circumstance, deserve full access to richly-resourced classrooms led by caring, qualified and generously compensated teachers.

Well, I guess we can welcome in the era of Obama where terrorists have influence in the White House and society formally recognizes and legitimizes them enough to accept media coverage and commentary from them.

I’m thinking cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal would be one of them.

Ah…..the sweet smell of moral equivalence in the morning. Here is William Ayers being interviewed on Good Morning America (Hot Air has the video) telling us why the things he did along with his group were a-ok:

“What you call the violent past, that was a time when thousands of people were being murdered every month by our own government.

~~~
We were on the right side,” he told “GMA.”
The co-founder of the Weather Underground was, as McCain has claimed, unrepentant about the the bombings his group committed during the 1960s.
“The content of the Vietnam protest is that there were despicable acts going on, but the despicable acts were being done by our government. … I never hurt or killed anyone,” Ayers said.
“Frankly, I don’t think we did enough, just as today I don’t think we’ve done enough to stop these wars,” he said.
It gets better:
The college professor also argued to “Good Morning America’s” Chris Cuomo today that the bombing campaign by the Weather Underground, the group he helped found, was not terrorism.
The Weather Underground bombed the Capitol, the Pentagon and the New York City Police Department in protest of the Vietnam War.
“It’s not terrorism because it doesn’t target people, to kill or injure,” Ayers said.
Not terrorism?
Tell that to those his group killed like Waverly Brown, Edward O’Grady, and Peter Paige.
You see they meant well. Hell, Hitler meant well also right? He just wanted to get his country back to their former glory you see.
So did Arafat.
They couldn’t be terrorists and murderers because it was all in good faith.
But here Ayers says that they just didn’t dig the war in Vietnam so they thought, “hey….lets set some bombs to terrorise the populace, its all good because we don’t MEAN to kill people.” I mean, who would think a bomb would actually kill a person…
Sigh…
Ayers and Dohrn were credibly accused, in classified testimony before a Senate subcommittee in 1974, of involvement in the murder of a police officer in San Francisco, as well as an attempted (and unsuccessful) anti-personnel bombing in Detroit. It is an aspect of Ayers’ story that the mainstream media has completely ignored and even covered up.
Ayers and Dohrn were never prosecuted for their alleged involvement in Weatherman terrorism because of government misconduct in gathering evidence against them. But Ayers has freely admitted to involvement in Weatherman bomb plots, and he has said he does not regret planting bombs. Ayers has defended his actions, arguing, “The reason we weren’t terrorists is that we did not commit random acts of terror against people.”
But Larry Grathwohl, an FBI mole within the Weathermen, connected Ayers to the planning — and his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, to the execution— of a police station bombing in San Francisco in February 1970 that killed one officer and injured two others.
Grathwohl testified that Ayers had discussed the deadly incident after the fact. The revelation came as Ayers was talking about the organizational difficulties in running a terrorist cell:
[H]e cited as one of the real problems that someone like Bernardine Dohrn had to plan, develop, and carry out the bombing of the police station in San Francisco, and he specifically named her as the person that committed that act. . . . He said that the bomb was placed on the window ledge and he described the kind of bomb that was used to the extent of saying what kind of shrapnel was used in it. . . . [I]f he wasn’t there to see it, somebody who was there told him about it, because he stated it very emphatically.
Grathwohl also testified about an unsuccessful Weatherman bombing in Detroit, which he said Ayers had planned to be executed when the maximum number of people would be present:
The only time that I was ever instructed or we were ever instructed to place a bomb in a building at a time when there would be people in it was during the planning of the bombing at the Detroit Police Officers’ Association building and the 13th precinct in Detroit, Mich., at which time Bill said that we should plan our bombing to coincide with the time when there would be the most people in those buildings.
Grathwohl tipped off police to this latter plot, and they cleared the area. When they finally found the Detroit bomb, it was unexploded. It contained 13 sticks of dynamite with an M-80 firecracker to detonate them, along with a burnt-out cigarette.
Oh, and he downplayed his relationship with our new President also….no surprise there eh?
Another of Obama’s odd perspective of “truth” and “transparency” with the US electorate has been laid exposed in the latest update re’release of Bill Ayers’ 2001 book, “Fugitive Days,” .
He’ll [Ayers] appear Friday on “Good Morning America” to promote the re-issue of his book this week. The Tribune obtained a copy of the updated material.
In it, Ayers — who did not respond to requests for comment — summarized his relationship with Obama: “[W]e had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign.”
On the campaign trail, Obama dismissed Ayers as “a guy who lives in my neighborhood” and “somebody who worked on education issues in Chicago that I know.” Among “family friends”, one would think being dismissed as so casual would cut one to the quick. But not Ayers, who “laments” his friendship with Obama being an issue.
“The more serious point is that Obama was asked once more to defend something that ought to be at the very heart of democracy: the importance of talking to many people in this complicated and wildly diverse society, of listening with the possibility of learning something new, of speaking with the possibility of persuading or influencing others. … In a robust and sophisticated democracy, political leaders, indeed, all of us, would seek out ways to talk with many people who hold dissenting, even radical ideas.”
Personally, I think “talking” with self admitted Marxist/Communists who hold with the Rosa Luxemburg views on education, and considering the same “family friends” is a huge gap… But what the heck do I and 47% of the US population who did not fall under the Obama spell know? We’re “distractors” when it comes to examining just who are Obama’s “family friends” and business associates.
Lest any of our friendly Obama’ites miscontrue the import of this, and cry *distraction* again, the Obama-Ayers relationship has nothing to do with his Weather Underground days, but everything to do with Obama’s agreement with Ayers on a “social and economic justice” educational agenda. And to promote that socialist agenda, there are all too many teachers willing to tell their students who is “on their side” instead of promoting independent thinking.
But thanks, Obama, for making your relationship clear. Whoops…. I mean, thank you William Ayers for outing Obama and the real “truth”.
Obviously, in the interests of political expediency and personal promotion, Obama is willing to even cast “family friends” aside as no more than a piece of lint to achieve his goal.
He’s just lucky that his socialist buds find it just dandy to be a piece of lint… because having a “family friend” in the Oval Office can come in quite handy for their own agendas.
~~~

UPDATE: I see Boston Herald’s Jules Crittenden has done a link here, giving me a “neo-con” pan review. Or was it? He has a dizzy’ing study of double negatives throughout his entire post that makes one want to scream… “just spit it out, fer heavens sakes!” LOL

Or how was it he put it? (in possibly that double-reverse Clintonism”?)

Still just not getting it, hopelessly slavish to the necon media machine:….

Well, if I am experiencing a vague and/or confusing compliment/insult, I find myself in the illustrious company of Michelle Malkin, HotAir, MacsMind, RedState, Protein Wisdom and Tim Blair. So my first reaction is, I sure pick better company than Obama…. whether complimented *or* insulted.

It is ironical that the white horse signified in the Revelation and characterized in the 13th chapter is white, as most evangelicals would never have dreamed that a black man would be elevated to the position where he could actually evolve into the Antichrist. The fact is, evangelists have for years now preached on how we are in the end times prophesied in the Bible and that the world is heading to dire and more dire judgments as those set forth in Revelation. Now, now, now, this is Not today’s sermon, just a few (since they are not politically correct) personal ramblings from a guy who has been one of those evil fundamentalists all his life and knows a little about Bible prophesy.

It is certain that all sorts of stories are popping up on the web about the evil Omaba represented during his campaign and the cult personality that has evolved into the fawning hundreds of thousands in the streets on election night to celebrate his victory. The MSM are having some doubts now that they have elected Obama, but just wait until he is finished with them. Kudos to Mikes America who has been relentless in his denunciations as to why the questions being asked now by the MSM were not asked Before the election. It’s really absurd isn’t it, but the MSM are now beginning to admit that with all the vetting (ha, ha) they had done on Obama, they still don’t have a clue as to who he is! Incredible? Not! There was no vetting done. It was like the MSM, like the Obama cult, were the victims of mass hysteria and could no more put out a criticism of Obama than they could apply towards themselves.

One thing I believe that everyone can agree upon is that human beings cannot look towards the future and foretell what the world will be like a year from now, and so forth. We can look at tomorrow and based upon current events divine with some accuracy what will happen tomorrow, and maybe even next week, but beyond that it’s a toss-up. We can, however, look back and see what has happened, see the indicators of what has happened today and lament that we were just too blind to see the warnings and too lazy to take action because we didn’t really believe what we were seeing.

B. Hussein Obama is a very, very disturbing personality. In was never concerned by Bill Clinton, and his policies so much as I am with the potential Obama policies. Aside from the cult personality that ahs evolved and is continuing to evolve, we still do not know where Obama was born. He may turn out to be the only current or former president in history that does not have a historic marker or reported location that identifies the exact site of his birth. A lawsuit filed earlier this year in federal court demanding that Obama release his birth certificate was thrown out. During the court proceedings, Obama never produced his birth certificate, though he did produce a “certificate of live birth” issued by the state of Hawaii. Such a certificate lacks much of the basic details typically found on a birth certificate. A late Associated Press story revealed that Hawaii’s Health Department director and the state’s registrar of vital statistics did indeed look at Obama’s birth certificate and verified that he was born in that state, but this person gave no details as to where the presient-elect was actually born. The state cannot release a birth certificate without a person’s permission, but Obama has yet to allow his certificate to be released.

The birth certificate was just one document in a long laundry list of documents that Obama refused to release to the public, including college records, medical records and even his records as a state senator in Illinois. A lawsuit demanding Obama release a valid birth certificate was thrown out of court based specifically on the premise that the person who brought the lawsuit “had no standing””, but that was clearly a nonsense argument under our Constitution which says every citizen is “equal in the eyes of the law.” How can anyone oppose a request for the production of legal documents in such a case? One who is not a natural born citizen is not qualified to serve as our President under the Constitution. There were lawsuits in 9 states to require Obama to simply produce a valid birth certificate other than the one produced by the Obama organization which, when put side by side to an authentic Hawaiian certificate it appears to be fake.

Since the founding of our republic, 42 men have served as president of the United States. Of these, there are only two presidents with disputed birth sites: Andrew Jackson (born in 1767) and Zachary Taylor (born in 1784). The remaining 40 presidents all have a historic site, or at least a marker, on the spot of their birth.

Revelation, with its allegorical and symbolic language is a difficult book to follow if one cannot cross reference, however, this post needs to be short so the book maybe will come later. One thing that separates the allusion that Obama may be the antichrist is that the beast in Rev. 13 sustained a head would and was given no hope of recovery, subsequently recovered and “the world followed after him”.

Who or what is the power behind B. Hussein Obama? In Rev. 13, the Devil himself is behind the antichrist and gives him his power. Where did Obama’s money come from? Throughout the campaign it materialized out of nowhere. We are told that it was his “internet legions”, but Obama spent upwards of 460 million on this campaign, far, far more than John McCain who was saddled with the ‘public money’ stipulation by law.

So who is this man? Where was he born? Where was he educated? Who are his real backers? What exactly he done as far as experience to warrant being elected to the highest position in the land? What we actually do know of him does not paint a pretty picture, if this is the case, what more does all that which he refused to be made public paint for us onto the currently unfinished painting we have?

The Bible predicts that once Israel was established again (1948) that that generation would not pass until all the Revelation be fulfilled. Back in the 70’s and 80’s people assumed that the ‘generation’ was the generation of the Bible, (approximately 40 years), but I have always thought that it simply is the generation alive/born 1948 and after, and is approximately 70 years, which is why I believe that some in the generation alive right now will see all this come to pass.

It is also curious that back in the 80’s when computers were not fully established that this little number came up: Since 7 is the symbol of perfection in the Bible and is the symbol of God (It is said that 86% of the people in America profess a belief in God), and 6 is the symbol of man. If you take our alphabet and multiply the alphabetical numbers of COMPUTER, C=3×6, 0=15×6, M=13×6, and so forth we arrive at the number 666. Coincidence? Maybe….

Here is Wisdom: Let him who has understanding ‘calculate’ (emphasis mine) the number of the beast for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred, threescore, and six.
The world operates wholly upon one huge computer system where everything is tied together. What would make it more easier for a man to gain control of this system? Far fetched? Maybe. But then again, maybe we should take a closer look at B. Hussein Obama’s “internet army”.

The LA Times is refusing to release a videotape that shows Barack Obama attending a dinner in honor of Rashid Khalidi. It is no wonder that he doesn’t want it released. The comments he made while toasting Rashid Khalidi during the event are inflamatory and embarrassing to say the least! He said:

“My friend Rashid is a hero among our Palestinian brothers along the West Bank, and with his continued effort, and our continued support, we can guarantee the removal of the Jewish invaders from our promised land! Without a doubt, a united Palestinian front can banish the racist Israeli state back to the four corners of the world and cleanse the holy land of their stain! Then, we will use the example of Palestinian liberation to usher forth a new age in America! An America where heroes like my good friends Bill Ayers, Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and Malik Zulu Shabazz will bring and end to the tyranny of capitalism, democracy, and white christianity! We will take the wealth of the American economic elite, and use it to buy the votes of the American poor! Then, when we have control of the United States House of Representatives, the United States Senate, the United States Supreme Court, and of course, the White House, we will show the American people what real governance is! We will redistribute the wealth! We will bring down the corporations, and eliminate the small busenessmen! We will put them on the path to socialism, and get this nation ready for the next step toward Marxist Communism! We will give them change!”

Well, at least I’m pretty sure that’s what he said. Well, actually, I have no idea what he said, I’m just guessing. But, if the LA Time refuses to release the video so we can know for sure, I’m just going to have to assume that I guessed right!

I’ve been involved now in 25 debates, going on my 26th. And I’ve written two books which any — everybody who reads them will say are about as honest a set of reflections by, at least, a politician as are out there.”

We know John McCain. We don’t know Barack Obama.

Peter Nicholas, staff writer for the Los Angeles Times, wrote an interesting piece in yesterday’s Times on trying to get to know the man behind the image, spending 18 hour days on the campaign trail with the Illinois Senator. What comes across to him, is how well-disciplined Senator Obama is, making every word and action deliberate and calculated, with few instances of spontaneity. The mask is constantly kept on. Nicholas concludes:

First Clinton, then John McCain made the argument that Obama is someone we don’t really know. Obama’s supporters counter that we have his record in the U.S. and Illinois senates, two memoirs that reveal his inner thinking and a vast trove of public speaking. Ironically, those of us who were sent out to take his measure in person can’t offer much help in answering who he is, or if he is ready. The barriers set in place between us and him were just too great.

Obama detractors also argue that

“we have his record in the U.S. and Illinois senates,

What has he even accomplished as a U.S. Senator, other than running for president within his first term? He said it himself in the Gibson interview, he’s been running for president for the last 2 years; that gives little time for the freshman senator to actually do his duties as a legislator.

Where is the evidence that he has ever “reached across the aisle” to accomplish any bipartisan legislation?

At the Saddleback Forum Debate back in August:

REV. WARREN: Can you give me a good example of where you went against party loyalty and maybe even went against your own best interest for the good of America.

SEN. OBAMA: Well, you know, I’ll give you an example that in fact I worked with John McCain on, and that was the issue of campaign ethics reform and finance reform. That wasn’t probably in my interest or his, for that matter, because the truth was that both Democrats and Republicans sort of like the status quo. And I was new to the Senate, and it didn’t necessarily then engender a lot of popularity when I started saying, you know, we’re going to eliminate meals and gifts from corporate lobbyists. I remember one of my colleagues, whose name will be unmentioned, who said, well, where do you expect us to eat, McDonald’s?

That’s a completely dishonest account by the resume-padding Senator from Illinois. Factcheck.org:

Obama claimed that “I worked with John McCain” on ethics legislation. In fact, the two worked together for barely a week, after which McCain accused Obama of “partisan posturing” and added, “I won’t make the same mistake again.” McCain later voted against the ethics bill that Obama supported, stating that it was written by Democrats with “no input” from Republicans.

Here is the letter McCain sent to Obama.

Resume-padding doesn’t stand up to even light scrutiny:

Very little has been made of two instances, reported last month by the Washington Post, where Mr Obama exaggerated his role in legislative accomplishments. When a bipartisan attempt was made to reform America’s immigration policy, Mr Obama claimed to be one of the senators who in 2006 “had to wake up early to try to hammer this stuff out.” If it were true, it would’ve boosted his repuation as a uniter of Republicans and Democrats. But miffed Senate staffers say Mr Obama never attended the critical early morning negotiating sessions where the bill was hammered out. And he played an even smaller role when the issue was re-visited in 2007—after showing up late for a meeting he was even upbraided by Ted Kennedy.

More recently, when referring to housing legislation unveiled this year, Mr Obama called it “the legislation I put forward with my colleague Chris Dodd”. Mr Dodd, an Obama supporter, may be too kind to say so, but this simply isn’t accurate. Mr Obama backed the measure, as did Mrs Clinton, but he did not author or sponsor the legislation, which is to say he didn’t put it forward anymore than Mrs Clinton did.

In yet another instance Mr Obama claimed to have passed a bill on nuclear regulation that never made it out of the Senate.

“two memoirs that reveal his inner thinking”

Hugh Hewitt played the audio tapes, Dreams from My Father, read by Senator Obama himself. It is worth noting that the book was published in 1998 and mentions Frank Marshall Davis. But the audio version was recorded in 2005, after Senator Obama entered public office, and any mention of Frank Davis, an early influence and mentor in Obama’s life, is conspicuously made absent. Another one of those things that makes you go, “Hmmmm…..?”

“and a vast trove of public speaking”.

 The problem with this, is that things he’s said in public that could be most damaging to his bid for the presidency is either suppressed by the media, or does not receive the frontpage splash headline news and wide-circulation it might warrant. As Senator Obama likes to say, any of this kind of negative coverage that questions his character and judgment are “distractions”. “Talk about the issues“. And a fawning media is all but happy to comply and rewrite the narrative so that Joe “the Plumber” is the one whose character is under scrutiny, as if that in itself is not the real distraction from the validity of the question and the moment of candor in Senator Obama’s response. It was a window into his soul; a glimpse into how he truly feels and thinks behind the carefully crafted image of a centrist.

Public records have been made inaccessible:

a large cache of documents housed in the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), is likely to flesh out the story. That document cache contains the internal files of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. The records in question are extensive, consisting of 132 boxes, containing 947 file folders, a total of about 70 linear feet of material. Not only would these files illuminate the working relationship between Obama and Bill Ayers, they would also provide significant insight into a web of ties linking Obama to various radical organizations, including Obama-approved foundation gifts to political allies. Obama’s leadership style and abilities are also sure to be illuminated by the documents in question.

Unfortunately, I don’t yet have access to the documents. The Special Collections section of the Richard J. Daley Library agreed to let me read them, but just before I boarded my flight to Chicago, the top library officials mysteriously intervened to bar access. Circumstances strongly suggest the likelihood that Bill Ayers himself may have played a pivotal role in this denial.

What we don’t know:

Yet, somehow we’re supposed to know Barack Obama….

The Jerusalem Post notes:

Obama, in fact, has held some major job titles which are noteworthy all by themselves: United States Senator, Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, Harvard Law Review President-each of these titles puts him in rarefied company. Tack on a few Illinois State Senate terms, and his resume actually appears solid. Yet, in spite of these prestigious positions, Obama has increasingly resorted to making claims of accomplishment that are so patently inflated that even his cheerleaders at CNN and the New York Times are taking notice. Why?

It seems that Obama recognizes that while his résumé titles are impressive, his actual accomplishments are weak.

Who is the real Senator Barack Obama? I only know enough to believe that he is wrong for the country.

Andy McCarthy reminds us of a great interview done by Hugh Hewitt of Stanley Kurtz a few weeks ago that is an excellent primer on the Obama/Ayers association. It also highlights an association that isn’t talked about much. Ayers/Khalidi ties.

Here is the interview, lasts a little over 16 minutes but well worth the time to listen to the whole thing:

Here is the transcript of the Ayers/Khalidi part:

SK: Now if you lived just a few blocks away from someone, and you’ve been on a foundation together, and at least in the first year, you were on the board together, and then you’re on a panel together, when you run into each other, what are you going to be talking about? Here’s something I also haven’t mentioned. Rashid Khalidi and Bill Ayers were practically best friends. People don’t know this, and I’m actually saying this for the first time. I haven’t written about this. They were best friends, and we know that Obama had interactions with Khalidi, that Khalidi had held the coffee that kicked off his Congressional campaign, I believe. And Ayers and Khalidi were extremely close if you look at the acknowledgements in their books.

HH: Tell us about Khalidi. Tell us who he is and his role in Obama’s life.

SK: Rashid Khalidi is really, in a sense, the American successor of Edward Said, a very strong advocate for the Palestinians, extremely radical in his views and his opposition to American foreign policy. He was a friend and colleague of Obama. Apparently they used to get together and discuss world affairs. And he’s practically the best friend of Bill Ayers. Bill Ayers features Khalidi in some of his books about how to politicize the teaching for students. So actually, the more you look into it, the more you see that this is not just people running into each other. And again, I object to the idea of just simply counting the times people were together in a room. When you fund Bill Ayers education projects, with hundreds of thousands of dollars, when you as Bill Ayers publish Rashid Khalidi’s essay in your book of collected essays, they might have gone on. That’s a lot without meeting once.

~~~
HH: So Stanley Kurtz, Rashid Khalidi, very close to Barack Obama, read during the break that Khalidi had a farewell dinner in 2003 that Obama was one of the presenters at, and in those remarks, alluded to the numerous dinners he’d had at the home of the Khalidi’s.
SK: Yes.
HH: It simply defies imagination to think that Khalidi was not a bridge between Ayers, that this is not an operating subgroup of Hyde Park, doesn’t it?
SK: Right. I mean, that’s what it seems like when you look, when you read these acknowledgements back and forth between Khalidi and Ayers of how close they are as friends, and you see that Khalidi had dinners at Obama, it really, to think…and then that Khalidi hosted something to kick off Obama’s Congressional campaign, you’ve got to think that Ayers and Khalidi are both talking about Obama, because they’re so close. And you’ve go to think that…it begins to look like a pretty tight network. You know, you can only show what’s actually in the papers, and what are in the documents as far as the number of meetings and everything else. But it sure looks a lot tighter than what we can absolutely see. It looks like a lot more. But it’s hard to show for sure, just like people, I think rightly assume that Barack Obama had to have known a lot more about what Jeremiah Wright was saying all those years than he’s letting on.
These relationships, and there shared views, are quite important in understanding Barack Obama and the way he thinks. What he believes.
The evidence known so far tells us that Obama and Ayers have known each other since at least the early 90’s but Andy believes it goes back a bit further to Obama’s Columbia days, the days he refuses to comment on.
In 2003 there was a dinner held for Khalidi who was leaving the University of Chicago to go to Columbia. Among those at the dinner were Ayers and Obama. Both gave glowing remarks about Khalidi. Obama’s remarks gave us some insight into how well he knew the man:
It was a celebration of Palestinian culture — a night of music, dancing and a dash of politics. Local Arab Americans were bidding farewell to Rashid Khalidi, an internationally known scholar, critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights, who was leaving town for a job in New York.
A special tribute came from Khalidi’s friend and frequent dinner companion, the young state Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi’s wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking.
His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been “consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. . . . It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”Obama and Ayers both gave Khalidi a rousing send off at a party to celebrate Khalidi leaving the University of Chicago to Columbia.
Andy takes it from there:
Khalidi was leaving to become director of Columbia’s Middle East Institute, assuming a professorship endowed in honor of another Arafat devotee, the late Edward Said. A hero of the Left who consulted with terrorist leaders (including Hezbollah’s Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah) and was once photographed hurling rocks at Israelis from the Lebanese border, Said was exposed by researcher Justus Reid Weiner as a fraud who had created a fictional account of his childhood, the rock on which he built his Palestinian grievance mythology.
We know precious little about Obama’s Columbia years, but the Los Angeles Times has reported that he studied under Said. In and of itself, that is meaningless: Said was a hotshot prof and hundreds of students took his comparative-lit courses. But Obama plainly maintained some sort of tie with Said — a photo making the Internet rounds shows Obama conversing with the great man himself at a 1998 Arab American community dinner in Chicago, where the Obamas and Saids were seated together.
Said had a wide circle of radical acquaintances. That circle clearly included Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn. When they came out of hiding in the early 1980s (while Obama was attending Columbia), Ayers took education courses at Bank Street College, adjacent to Columbia in Morningside Heights — before earning his doctorate at Columbia’s Teachers College in 1987.
Said was so enamored of Ayers that he commended the unrepentant terrorist’s 2001 memoir, Fugitive Days — the book in which the haughty Ayers brags about his Weatherman past — with this glowing dust-jacket blurb:
What makes Fugitive Days unique is its unsparing detail and its marvelous human coherence and integrity. Bill Ayers’s America and his family background, his education, his political awakening, his anger and involvement, his anguished re-emergence from the shadows: all these are rendered in their truth without a trace of nostalgia or “second thinking.” For anyone who cares about the sorry mess we are in, this book is essential, indeed necessary, reading.
Sorry mess, indeed. For his part, Ayers is at least equally enthralled by Said, of whom, even in death, Ayers says “[t]here is no one better positioned … to offer advice on the conduct of intellectual life[,]” than the man who was “over the last thirty-five years, the most passionate, eloquent, and clear-eyed advocate for the rights of the Palestinian people.”
After they left Columbia, both Obama and Ayers went to Chicago: Obama to become a “community organizer” (the director of the Developing Communities Project, an offshoot of the Gamaliel Foundation dedicated to Saul Alinsky’s principles for radicalizing society); Ayers, two years later, to teach at the University of Illinois. Diamond details how they both became embroiled in a major education controversy that resulted in 1988 reform legislation.
Ayers’s father, Tom Ayers, a prominent Chicago businessman, was also deeply involved in the reform effort. Interestingly, in 1988, while Obama and Ayers toiled on the same education agenda, Bernadine Dohrn worked as an intern at the prestigious Chicago law firm of Sidley Austin — even though she could not be admitted to the bar due to her contempt conviction for refusing to cooperate in a terrorist investigation. How could that happen? It turns out that Sidley was the longtime outside counsel for Tom Ayers’s company, Commonwealth Edison. That is, Ayers’ father had pull at the firm and successfully pressed for the hiring of his daughter-in-law.
The next summer, though he had gone off to Harvard Law School (another impressive accomplishment he prefers not to discuss), Obama returned to the Windy City to work as an intern at Sidley. Dohrn was gone by then to teach at Northwestern. A coincidence? Maybe (Diamond doesn’t think so), but that’s an awful lot of coincidences — and a long trail of common people, places and experiences — for people who purportedly didn’t know each other yet managed to end up as partners in significant financial and political ventures.
In short, Bill Ayers and Barack Obama moved in the same circles, were driven by the same cause, and admired the same radicals all the way from Morningside Heights to Hyde Park. They ended up publicly admiring each other, promoting each other’s work, sitting on the same boards, and funding the same Leftist agitators.
You could conclude, as I do, that it all goes back to a formative time in his life that Obama refuses to discuss. Or you could buy the fairy tale that Bill Ayers first encountered an unknown, inexperienced, third-year associate from a small Chicago law-firm over coffee in 1995 and suddenly decided Barack Obama was the perfect fit to oversee the $150 million pot of gold Ayers hoped would underwrite his revolution.
Obama, Ayers, Khalidi, Wright…..peas in a pod who believe in revolutionary causes to take this country apart brick by brick and make it into something it was never meant to be.
Come November 5th they may be one step closer.
You would think that the lies told by Obama would be reported on, dug deeper into, and criticized by the media that loves to bring up Watergate as their shining moment. Instead they ignore the story.
That story is Ayers and what Obama knew and when did he know it.
First Obama said Ayers was just some guy in the neighborhood. Not long after we found out that Obama and Ayers served on a the Chicago Annenberg Challenge board together for five years, and attended at least seven meetings together. Ayers helped write the by-laws of the Challenge with Obama. They’ve served together on two Academic panels. They served together on the board of directors for the Woods Fund of Chicago for two years. During that two year period William Ayers was quoted by the New York Times as saying “I Don’t Regret Setting Bombs … I Feel We Didn’t Do Enough.”
Obama’s political career was started in the livingroom of Ayers:
“In 1995, State Senator Alice Palmer introduced her chosen successor, Barack Obama, to a few of the district’s influential liberals at the home of two well known figures on the local left: William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. While Ayers and Dohrn may be thought of in Hyde Park as local activists, they’re better known nationally as two of the most notorious — and unrepentant — figures from the violent fringe of the 1960s anti-war movement.
~~~

‘I can remember being one of a small group of people who came to Bill Ayers’ house to learn that Alice Palmer was stepping down from the senate and running for Congress,’ said Dr. Quentin Young, a prominent Chicago physician and advocate for single-payer health care, of the info rmal gathering at the home of Ayers and his wife, Dohrn. ‘[Palmer] identified [Obama] as her successor.’

~~~
Dr. Young and another guest, Maria Warren, described it similarly: as an introduction to Hyde Park liberals of the handpicked successor to Palmer, a well-regarded figure on the left. ‘When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the living room of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn,’ Warren wrote on her blog in 2005. ‘They were launching him — introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.’”
Obama even wrote a review for Ayers book.
Some are speculating that Ayers, a gifted writer, ghostwrote Obama’s book. Sounds a little out there right? But take a look at the evidence yourself, especially how the writing style of Obama changed overnight, and you may not think it too crazy anymore.
And now recall that an earlier excuse for the relationship by Obama was that they “have encountered each other occasionally in public life or in the neighborhood.”
Rings hollow when the latest revelation is revealed. Obama and Ayers shared an office together for years.
I would hazard a guess that they encountered each other a bit more then occasionally in the office.
You add all this up and there is no way we can believe Obama’s excuses. They were out and out lies.
But the MSM is silent, and when they do write about it they dismiss it as some kind of Republican witchhunt like this story entitled “Obama’s Chicago Ties Might Fuel ‘Republican Attack Machine’.”
And now a man who has shown his ability to lie when confronted with uncomfortable facts is close to becoming President of the United States.
Where is our Watergate media now?
Obama is LYING about Ayers!
Charlie Gibson held an interview with Barack Obama on Wednesday. Readers will recall Charlie Gibson’s gotcha question for Sarah Palin on the “Bush Doctrine.” Did Gibson press Obama on his association with Ayers? Nope! The report on the ABC News web site reads more like a press release from the Obama campaign:
Obama: McCain Scoring ‘Cheap Political Points’
Democratic Contender Discusses Economy in Post-Debate Exclusive With Charlie Gibson
ABC News
Oct. 8, 2008
Sen. Barack Obama says the personal attacks levied against him by the campaign of his presidential rival, Sen. John McCain, particularly references to his association with 1960s anti-war radical Bill Ayers, are an attempt to “score cheap political points.”
“Why don’t we just clear it up right now,” Obama told ABC News’ Charlie Gibson in an exclusive interview for World News. “I’ll repeat again what I’ve said many times. This is a guy who engaged in some despicable acts 40 years ago when I was eight years old. By the time I met him, 10 or 15 years ago, he was a college professor of education at the University of Illinois . . . And the notion that somehow he has been involved in my campaign, that he is an adviser of mine, that . . . I’ve ‘palled around with a terrorist’, all these statements are made simply to try to score cheap political points.”
Obama went on to suggest that these questions about his character were a distraction from the real issues facing Americans in this campaign.
But Obama LIED about Ayers. The two have a relationship that goes back many years during which Ayers continued to express his profoundly anti-American views. Ayers helped launch Obama’s political career and has been at his side throughout Obama’s early career. (see here and the short video Curt posted here).
No snide followups from good old Charlie Gibson on all that… No surprise there!
Obama is LYING about ACORN
ACORN, the group of community organizers who are notorious for voter fraud and militant far left activism may be about to be indicted AGAIN (Curt’s report here).
Obama has denied that he has any ties to this group. Obama web site:”Barack was never an ACORN trainer and never worked for ACORN in any other capacity.”
Once again, the facts suggest otherwise. Sweetness and Light has the video of Obama discussing his action on behalf of one of ACORN’s subgroup “Project Vote.” Obama also used his legal expertise on behalf of ACORN in an effort to weaken Illinois efforts to combat voter fraud.
Most tellingly, this statement:
Madeline Talbott, lead organizer of the Chicago ACORN community organization: “Barack has proven himself among our members. He is committed to organizing, to building a democracy. Above all else, he is a good listener, and we accept and respect him as a kindred spirit, a fellow organizer.”
Obama LIED about Rev. Wright
“God DAMN America” (video)
“The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity or heard him utter in private conversation.” — Barack Hussein Obama March 14, 2008
Obama lies about who and what he really is. How can anyone believe his promises in this presidential campaign?
The Chicago Annenberg Challenge was supposed to be all about educational reform. The original funds from Annenberg were $50-60 mil. With ensuing fundraising efforts, that tally ended at approx $160 mil. However over $100 mil of that went to political purposes via community organizing and campaigns for LSC friendly candidates that Ayers/Obama supported for educational reform in Chicago schools.
Since Ayers and Obama teamed up for educational reform, just what kind of “reform” (which ended in failure) was Obama helping Ayers attempt to achieve?
For that we dig back to a 2006 interview between William Ayers, and Venezuelan socialist Luis Bonilla-Molina, founder of the Centro Internacional Miranda (CIM). HotAir’s Ed Morrissey posted one of the 12 Ayers videos included in this collection back in August of this year. He also noted the interview took place with the Che portrait hanging in the background… oddly appropriate.
In Ed’s piece, he chose the one where Ayers discussed how the Weather Underground was a “great teaching moment”. You can read Ed’s thoughts at the link above.
I, however, found the last two videos of Ayers’ interview far more revealing about Ayers’ vision of the future for US public schools. Since Ayers and Obama share a common vision, and Obama minces his words about his educational reform to cater to a nation who doesn’t cotton to outright socialist/Marxist ideals, perhaps Ayers can verbalize what Obama dances around.
Below, Part 11’s video
In the above video, Ayers moves to his criticism of the US public school system. He states the system is “under attack”… and that it is obsessed with a singular metric measure of success… something he defines as too “narrow” a test for intelligence.
Ayers describes how the system is relentless, attempting to measure student against student, and how zero tolerance led to the exclusion of many.
He bashes what he calls “market metaphors” used in education… pushing the “ownership society” and “excellence”. And calls No Child Left behind a “lovely mask” for a “vicious policy”.
~~~

Wow… lots of words there. To the layman, perhaps they sound innocent. But just what is Ayers attempting to accomplish in our schools? Homogenous mediocre.

So what is this No Child Left Behind? The simple goal – however ineptly executed since (another battle for another day…) – is that *all* children will be proficient in English language and math by the year 2014. Despite all the partisan sniping at a bill which did something… which is far more than previous Congresses have done… the premise of the bill still remains a bipartisan goal.

The ability to read and write is not a measure of intelligence, as Ayers seems to allude. It is providing a youth with the basic tools to function in the American society as an productive adult. It is not an IQ test, nor should it be construed as a student’s limitations. However without the ability to add, and communicate in our society, a newly emerging adult is limited in their future success.

Ayers’ reference to zero tolerance, certainly a worthy topic of debate under normal circumstances, strikes me as odd. Led to the “exclusion of many”??

Or did it just led to the exclusion of those who violated the school policy of drugs, violence or firearms?

Now I’m not an “either/or” kind or person in discipline issues. I don’t think there is one punishment fits all. But then, schools today are very different than when I attended. Violence and gangs are all too prevalent, and these school massacres are just unacceptable. Students threatening teachers, unable to defend themselves or discipline students, is also unacceptable.

However Ayers’ extreme view that it leads to “exclusion” is also overstated. So this controversial issue I’ll leave as not one of the major bones of contention with Ayers’ educational visions.

But the next point about Ayers’ educational philosphy is the one I deem most dangerous… and that is to eliminate competition between students, deemphasize the “ownership society” and demean “excellence”. In an Ayers’ world, all are equal. There is no “excellence”, no drive for “ownership” as a reward fro that excellence. It is all that we can be, and what we can achieve that lights ambition.

If we remove competition, we remove ambition. If we remove ambition, we remove excellence. When we remove excellence, we become a homogeneous society of mediocrity. We become socialists/Marxists.

No thank you….

Ayers video Part 12

A few minutes into this video, and that dangerous homogeneous mediocrity finds it’s roots. Ayers pays homage to Rosa Luxemburg – co-founder of the Communist Party of Germany in 1919.

I’ll make it easy for you Wiki fans, and provide the link for you here… since I know you’ll race there first.

Luxemburg was credited by many for giving socialism a human face. She was certainly controversial… often battling different factions of socialism and Marxism. And certainly, an early feminist.

But despite internal socialist battles, Luxemburg always had one constant enemy.. a capitalist society.

Ayers uses a Luxemburg quote from her prison writings when giving his advice to Venezuelan teachers…. that it can be very satisfying to make a difference. He agrees with Luxemburg that teachers should also be activists – that they can and should be in the forefront of reform for social injustice.

Today the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation still keeps it’s focus on reform thru political education.

The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation is committed to instigating, promoting and supporting political education. Its primary task is to offer people the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and abilities that enable them to participate in the search for alternatives to the status quo. It encourages people to get involved in politics and provides them with resources to do so more effectively.

To this end the Foundation plans and organises opportunities for political learning that offer interested parties the chance to experience growing competence and confidence in their personal relationship to politics. It focuses on providing hand tools for political activities as well as improving methodological and didactic qualifications; this approach includes translating latest research results in the social sciences into educational offers of practical relevance.

On another level, the Foundation arranges and provides counselling in adult political education processes directed at professional and volunteer mediators of education in and outside of schools. It also provides relevant literature and other types of support for events organised by third parties.

This is the woman Bill Ayers admires. He patterns his modern day activism after Luxemburg’s doctrine of teachers as activists for reform. To mold the minds of our youth is to achieve a peaceful revolution for the future. And what is his “reform”? Undisguised socialism…

And who was his partner in educational reform in Chicago? A hand picked newbie in the Chicago political machine, Barack Obama. A man, and a wife, who peppers their speeches with phrases from Saul Alinsky. Now, remember where William Ayers – Obama’s partner in Chicago educational reform – comes from on indoctrination of America’s youth.

Now reread educational goals – Obama style…

Invest in early childhood education and higher education

Fight for social & economic justice begins in the classroom

Merit pay ok if based on career instead of a single test

Evolution & science aren’t incompatible with Christian faith

Children’s First Agenda: zero to five early education

Put billions of dollars into early childhood education

Need after-school and summer programs with good parenting

Sex education needed to help children discuss molestation

Any familiar phrasing and ideology? ala fighting “social injustice”? This is done, of course, via political education in schools. Obama’s advocating getting a hold of America’s youth at the earliest of ages, focusing on putting billions in early childhood education. And just what would these public schools teach our children at these impressionable ages?

With a H/T for this reminder from commenter, Ketchikan… perhaps you’ll notice something familiar in the background that ties all this together nicely.

Below photo is from one of Obama’s campaign headquarters in Houston

~~~
If Obama wants the endorsement of any free thinking parent in this nation, he’d better spend his last 29 days throwing William Ayers and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge under the bus with the rest of his radical buddies…
