Obama’s New Terror Strategy: Kill Them All [Reader Post]

Barack Obama has a new plan for those individuals we don’t like: kill them.

Usama bin Laden has been killed. The U.S. is poised to begin withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. And the Obama administration’s shift in counterterrorism strategy from land wars to precision strikes and raids is raising concerns that the White House has adopted a policy of targeting killings for terror suspects.

More of why you’re an idiot to believe anything Obama says [Reader Post]

When Barack Obama went to war on Libya he cited the War Powers Act as his justification for doing so.

A few days ago, on March 22, President Barack Obama informed Congress formally about his unilateral decision to assist in the coalition of nations protecting rebel forces and civilians in Libya from attack from Col. Moammar Gadhafi’s loyalist troops.

Boehner gives Obama Friday deadline on Libya

Stepping up a simmering constitutional conflict, House Speaker John A. Boehner warned President Obama on Tuesday that unless he gets authorization from Congress for his military deployment in Libya, he will be in violation of the War Powers Resolution.

The Fundamentalist Islamic Spring [Reader Post]

Word comes that Barack Obama has engaged the United States into a fourth war- in Yemen. Once again this is done without the advice or consent of Congress. This diminutive property on the Arabian Peninsula is clearly an imminent threat to the United States. As the costs for Barack’s Libyan adventure spiral to who knows where Obama finds another swamp in which to mire the United States. The guy who was dead set against the war in Iraq has now initiated two of his own wars. The guy who said “Change in the region will not and cannot be imposed by the United States or any foreign power” has toppled one government in the Middle East and is waging war on two more.

Obama Says, We Will Borrow Money From China To Give To Greece

Because of profligate spending and its Socialist policies, Greece is bankrupt. It is now our duty to bail them out, according to Obama, so that they can continue on without taking responsibility for their own actions. Spain, Portugal, and Ireland are all nearing the same economic precipice; are we to assume that Obama plans to put the rest of the world on American Welfare rolls? Someone better tell him, those people can’t vote, but he does believe the Constitution is flawed, maybe with a few changes here and there, we can continue with a Redistribution of American Wealth for the rest of the world, until we are a Third World Country.

Congress Silent As Obama Ignores War Power Act

Obama is doing what he does best. Proceed with whatever he wants to do and if the law tells him he can’t do it, then just ignore it. This time he is doing it with the War Powers Act and his hometown paper, the Chicago Tribune, is calling him, and Congress, out for their refusal to do what is necessary:

Obama’s Soliloquy Of Illogic Logic

Who is this Obama, who asks us to accept both his ethnocentric Narcissism and his anti-Semitic vision, a vision tempered by hatred and honed with prejudice. He stands invincible, a knight in silk suits; a legend in his own mind who knows no defeat or wrong decisions.

“There is a wisdom that is woe; but there is a woe that is madness. And there is a Catskill eagle in some souls that can alike dive down into the blackest gorges, and soar out of them again and become invisible in the sunny spaces. And even if he for ever flies within the gorge, that gorge is in the mountains; so that even in his lowest swoop the mountain eagle is still higher than other birds upon the plain, even though they soar.”

– Moby Dick, Herman Melville

On an international stage, our President manipulates the truth with such audacity and imprecision, without challenge or ridicule, that even rational literate men can begin to question their own logic.

Protests in Syria have claimed 120 lives over the last two days.

BEIRUT – Syrian security forces fired on funeral processions that drew tens of thousands Saturday, one day after the bloodiest crackdown so far in the uprising against President Bashar Assad. The shootings pushed the two-day death toll to more than 120 and two lawmakers and a religious leader resigned in disgust over the killings.
