A Hero To Remember

She didn’t have a weapon and she didn’t herd her kids like sheep to be killed in a corner; Sandy Hook first grade teacher Vicki Soto, showed remarkable courage and resourcefulness in a face to face encounter with a homicidal maniac. Don’t forget that name, Vicki Soto, she refused to go by stupid guide lines when confronted with evil, she hid her children and stood all alone to face evil.

A friend posted this picture of Vicki on her Tumblr page where she said she had talked to her on Tuesday “and she told me she loved her 16 angels and never wanted to let them go.” She added: “Today when the shooting started Vicki hid her kids in closets and when the gunman came into her room she said the class was in gym. She was then murdered. Not one of her students were harmed. Words can not express how heartbreaking and tragic this is. I will miss you dearly.”

Hillary Stumbles, Suffers A Concussion, Won’t Testify

Some might wonder if it was the cervesa or the stomach flu, but it looks like Hillary took a dive and is down for the count.

From The Department of State:

While suffering from a stomach virus, Secretary Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, sustaining a concussion. She has been recovering at home and will continue to be monitored regularly by her doctors. At their recommendation, she will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with Department and other officials. She is looking forward to being back in the office soon.

The Shooting Is Tragic, But The Lockdown Procedure May Lead To Greater Tragedy

We listened to the accounts of the tragedy in a state of disbelief and sadness. The vulnerability of our children to psychopaths is obvious, but can we do more to protect our most innocent?

I listened to a local administrator describe the standard procedure under lockdown conditions and I had an ill-feeling of dread. The safety measures the schools are advised to take are now well-known to the potential homicidal maniacs who walk our streets, and now, there is the opportunity to capitalize on information that should be classified.

At What Price Victory

Nearly fifty years ago, during my tour of America on a Triumph motorcycle, I stopped at a Civil War Museum and burial ground for Civil War soldiers in Northern Alabama. I’ve been a student of history, and this seemed to be a curious part of America’s history.

The museum was run by the Daughters Of The Confederacy. A group that dedicated themselves to their work and the history of the Civil War Era. Their dedication to the memory of The Lost Cause or War of Northern Aggression and to the heroes of the Confederacy was awe inspiring if not a little frightening to a Canadian teenager. I paid to attend a formal history lesson and was barraged with a mass of history from the Southern perspective.

A Great Screen Play, If Only It Were So Trivial

Obama’s existence is an ongoing euphemism waged by the apologists of American Media. Using the crude format of argument best described by the Greek term epiplexis (using shame and the threat of being labeled a dunce if you don’t accept the argument) we are in a constant barrage of nonsense designed to confuse and humiliate us for not grasping the illogic of Obama logic.

Obama campaigns in Vegas while New Yorkers eat from dumpsters [Reader Post]

Barack Obama dropped in for a cup of coffee along the Jersey shore with his new BFF Chris Christie and got what is really the only thing he wanted from that visit- a photo-op. A chance to appear as though he cared. A chance to look Presidential. A chance to appear as though he was doing his job.
