Of course she fails to mention the HUGE amount of profits the federal and state government gets off of each gallon gasoline sold.
These people are delusional.
Lets look at some simple math. Approx. 8 years ago oil was around 15 bucks a barrel. You could buy a gallon of gas at the pumps for around 1.30 – 1.40. Today oil is around 70-75 bucks a barrel for 3.00 a gallon.
Does this tell us anything?
That the oil companies are actually taking it up the yahzoo compared to the Clinton years. Are they making profits…of course. That’s what a business tries to do.
Nissan just posted their 6th straight year of record profits….should we call for a congressional investigation? Maybe add a windfall tax onto to their profits?
Nissan Motor, Japan’s second-largest carmaker, posted its sixth-straight year of record profits today and said it would launch an “offensive” of new vehicle releases to seize market share from the struggling American automakers, General Motors and Ford.
Nissan reported rising sales in the United States and in China, the world’s third-largest car market after the U.S. and Japan. Earnings also got a boost from a strong United States dollar, which raised the yen value of overseas profits, the company said.
Nissan said net profits rose 1.1 percent to 518 billion yen ($4.57 billion) for the fiscal year that ended March 31. Sales in the same period rose 9.9 percent to 9.4 trillion yen ($83.2 billion), the company said.
Nissan forecast even stronger results in the current fiscal year ending March 2007, saying it expects profits to rise again to 523 billion yen ($4.62 billion).

it is because of liberals oil prices are high and it is because of liberals that we are dependant on foreign oil. If you do not build refineries and you do block new drilling, then what you get is higher prices, especially considering demand is going up because of increased consumption by India and China.
Less supply + more demand = higher prices.
oh, and all those numbers are extraordinarily rough, but makes me think someone who knows what they are talking about to actualy give the people a comprehensive breakdown on the raccet of fee based taxation.

George W. Bush is indeed hated and despised. Bush may not be “self-aware” relative to his narcissistic personality disorder. A lot of mentally ill people are oblivious and/or in denial of their mental illness. But Bush is probably aware that he has psychological problems. Bush may quibble over semantics or interpretations or opinions about whether it would be appropriate or fair to say that he has psychological problems of “clinical significance.”
George W. Bush is gravely mentally ill and needs help.

The American people can hardly wait til Bush leaves office. The presidency of Bush has been a nightmare for the American people and for the world. The narcissistic personality disorder of Bush has certainly contributed to what is almost his inability to do anything right.
