Yes, I know what you’re thinking – aren’t these posts supposed to be written in advance and published at the end of the year so that writers can take some time off and still provide some content? To which I respond, you are absolutely right! But 2018 was by far the busiest year of my life, and this subject was just too good to let pass. Last week The Daily Wire’s Paul Bois alerted us to this gem: New York Times Praises Radical Environmentalist Who Killed Himself To Save Earth
Earlier this year, radical environmentalist David Buckel demonstrated his love for planet Earth by lighting himself on fire in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park in order to set an example in the fight against climate change. In a suicide note, the 60-year-old gay rights activist said his use of fossil fuels to immolate himself was to make a point about what humans are already doing to themselves.
“Most humans on the planet now breathe air made unhealthy by fossil fuels, and many die early deaths as a result,” Buckel wrote in his note. “My early death by fossil fuel reflects what we are doing to ourselves. Honorable purpose in life invites honorable purpose in death.”
Bois gives a good rundown on the NYT’s beautification of a weak minded person who submitted to a death cult, but that’s not what makes Buckel our 2018 Person of the Year. I often give Lefties flak for talking a big game but not walking the walk – well, that is exactly what Buckel did!
Lefties, most of whom seem to believe in this bizarre death cult that has spent the last 30 years telling us that the end of the world is coming in 5 to 10 years, also claim to think that this bizarre faith equates “science”. I’ve often asked how raising taxes that will disproportionally hurt the world’s poorest people and transferring those funds to well fed bureaucrats somehow grants the government the power to control the weather. For some reason I never get much of an answer – in fact, members of this cult always get really agitated when I ask about this basic tenet of their faith.
Another part of this doomsday cult’s canon is that if all mankind activity were to be halted the weather would cease to change. Odd, considering a cult many of them also dabbled in had a core belief praising “Hope and Change”. Nonetheless, they all refuse to cease any of their carbon-based energy consuming habits, such as heating their homes, traveling in cars, eating food raised or transported using those evil fossil fuels, etc. Not Buckel! He is a true role model in reducing his carbon footprint and decided to lead by example!
So Lefties, if you truly want to consider us unwashed deplorable rubes to respect your beliefs, I call on every one of you to follow in Buckel’s footsteps and reduce your carbon footprints as well! Now I know what you’re thinking, isn’t the logical extension to wipe out all of humanity? At this stage, if you start killing infidels it will probably bring negative publicity to your campaign, hurting your cause. Don’t worry though, when the time is right and enough of you have shown us knuckle dragging bitter clingers the path to enlightenment we’ll let you know when we’re ready to follow in your footsteps!

Well, don’t worry. They will apportion out a small dole to those that need to eat from what they reap through climate graft. It won’t affect the climate, but those being raped of their income will still get enough to eat in order to stay alive… and vote… for them… to eat.
The Highway Trust Fund is facing an estimated $168 billion shortfall between now and 2025.
Why?
Because so much of it disappears into general fund transfers.
Our Social Security Trust Fund is filled with so-called “binding IOU’s.”
It’s human nature to solve an immediate problem with money supposedly set aside for later.
Would a Green New Deal’s collected taxes fare any better?
Look to the would-be founder of this program, AOC for a hint:
“The select committee [for a green new deal] shall have authority to develop a detailed national, industrial, economic mobilization plan for the transition of the United States economy to become greenhouse gas emissions neutral and to significantly draw down greenhouse gases from the atmosphere and oceans and to promote economic and environmental justice and equality.”
Ocasio Cortez’s plan imagines creating a national jobs force to help people participate in this “transition.” The Green New Deal, it says, shall “provide all members of our society, across all regions and all communities, the opportunity, training and education to be a full and equal participant in the transition, including through a job guarantee program to assure a living wage job to every person.…..
Whew!
That’ll be expensive!
And all the while China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and more will be burning carbon more than before.
