Democrat desperation reaches its zenith

As the SS Collusion slowly slides under the waves, a far left radical socialist democrat is doing his best to keep it afloat. Tom Perez and the DNC have filed a lawsuit against numerous parties, including Russia. A country. Really:

The Democratic National Committee filed a lawsuit Friday against the Trump campaign, Russia and WikiLeaks, accusing them of plotting to tilt the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

The multimillion-dollar lawsuit, first reported by The Washington Post, claims that the three parties worked together to prop up President Trump and kneecap his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

The lawsuit accuses Russian intelligence services of hacking into the DNC computers and with the help of WikiLeaks distributed the stolen information to disrupt the election. The DNC alleges that the Trump campaign was aware of the effort, but instead of reporting it, “gleefully welcomed Russia’s help.”

“Indeed, the Trump campaign solicited Russia’s illegal assistance, and maintained secret communications with individuals tied to the Russian government, including one of the intelligence agencies responsible for attacking the DNC,” the lawsuit says. “Through these communications, the Trump Campaign, Trump’s closest advisors, and Russian agents formed an agreement to promote Donald Trump’s candidacy through illegal means.”

I saw Perez on TV saying “We all know that Trump is Putin’s stooge.”

Initially it made me very angry. The Chairman of the DNC is spewing utter nonsense. It’s a dicey thing to do. There is no evidence whatsoever of anything Perez asserts. Perez is no stranger to prevarication. He has continued to lie about the DNC role in the funding of the Russian dossier. He lies about the prowess of DNC funding. He dropped the voter intimidation case against the Black Panthers.

In 2008, two men from the New Black Panther Party, one brandishing a nightstick, stood in front of a polling place in Philadelphia and became aggressive when a video tracker asked them what they were doing. The Department of Justice had a straightforward case against the two, according to former attorney J. Christian Adams, until Perez, then head of the agency’s Civil Rights Division, intervened. Adams resigned in protest after the charges were dropped. He called Perez the “most extreme cabinet nominee” he had ever seen.

He doesn’t think white people are protected by the Voting Rights Act.

He is an extreme radical:

After that, the issue of undelivered and uncounted military ballots, affecting overseas servicemen came up. Perez’s department did nothing to rectify the situation and declined to prosecute states or failing to deliver ballots. Only when they had been made aware that demographics were changing as to who the military voters were voting for, meaning Democrats, was any action at all taken.

Then there was the effort to halt voter fraud in Florida, where Perez’s DoJ filed a lawsuit to stop Florida from purging its voter rolls of 182,000 non-citizens. In June 2012, it was thrown out by a Clinton-appointed federal judge.

Perez filed race-baiting lawsuits against municipalities to force them to scrap written tests for police and firefighters to ensure affirmative action hiring. American Spectator‘s Quin Hillyer wrot Perez argued that black firefighter applicants who flunked 70% of their entrance exams should get a free pass to the New York firefighters academy. Ellison has nothing on Perez as an agent of racial division. A DOJ report

Perez also has led the Obama administration’s charge against voter ID laws, attempting to halt a South Carolina case that according to Hillier, got “ smacked down hard” by the U.S. District Court for the D.C. Circuit.

He also initiated additional junk lawsuits against peaceful anti-abortion protestors in Florida and against colorful Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

As for his own division of DOJ, a 250-page internal DOJ Inspector General’s report blasted it for its hothouse atmosphere of racial grievance mongering, “with several incidents in which deep ideological polarization fueled disputes and mistrust that harmed the functioning of the Voting Section.”  Some leadership.

This is the work of a rabid activist who sees advancing the leftist agenda and the party that has adopted it as the goal. The party’s supremacy is his goal and the law is an obstacle. Sounds a heckuva lot like the Obama administration, which he exerted considerable influence over. Will the voters go for same-old, same-old? The current state of the Democratic Party seems to think there’s a need for more of it.

Now Perez is the face of the DNC. He is filing this lawsuit at an interesting time. George Papadopoulos is denying any collusion, James Comey is at odds with both Andrew McCabe and Loretta Lynch. McCabe is looking at prosecution. It seems Comey leaked classified information. There are rumblings about Perez’s action within the democrat party:

California Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer she the lawsuit is “ill conceived” and that she “was not supportive of it.”

Missouri Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill, a member in a tough reelection campaign, was reported to have distanced herself from the lawsuit as well. According to a reporter at The St. Louis Dispatch, McCaskill called it a “silly distraction.”

Democratic political consultant best known for being President Barack Obama’s chief campaign strategist David Axelrod agreed tweeting that the suit is a “sideshow.”

Newton’s Third Law says that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Were this ever to come close to a court room, the discovery phase of this action would be most illuminating- especially the part where the plaintiffs seek the servers the DNC would not let the FBI examine.

This is so dumb that not even Chuck Todd is taking it seriously.

Tom Perez is a lunatic radical liberal. He is panicking as the air goes out of the collusion balloon and is desperately flitting around trying to find something with which to distract his base from the fact that it was the DNC and the Hillary campaign who set Trump up with this phony Russian nonsense.

The IG report is going to hurt Perez. A lot.

So let’s let Perez continue this truly quixotic quest. He’s draining energy and cash from the DNC and its coffers.

Carry on.

One remark from Perez caught my attention and is, I believe, the entire purpose of this lawsuit. He says the lawsuit is due to a “mountain of evidence” that has been uncovered showing Trump’s collusion with Russia. True, the Democrats are in a panic over the total LACK of any evidence showing even a reason to suspect collusion, so Perez is making this statement to keep the myth of evidence of collusion in the forefront. For Democrats, the accusation is the proof. Is this an expensive way to go about it? Sure, but have we ever seen Democrats shy away from throwing away other people’s money to pursue an idiotic cause?

accusing them of plotting to tilt the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

What about the DNC plotting with CNN to have Hillary win?
Do the democrats even know how stupid this sounds?
The RNC should plead guilty there is ample proof they did everything they could to keep the witch out of the WhiteHouse, damages bwahahahaha.
The other accused must speak for themselves.
Lets sue them for colluding to not confirm Trumps nominations.

@kitt:

Do the democrats even know how stupid this sounds?

Have you ever seen a stupid person recognize stupid?

This will never get to any discovery phase.
This ploy is merely an attempt at fundraising by the DNC – which is broke:
Last quarter
Cash On Hand
RNC 38.8M
DNC 6.3M

Debt
RNC 0
DNC 6.1M

So, why is the DNC playing this game?
Devin Nunes has them pegged:

Every day there is a new example of why people who take the time to think are distancing themselves from the DNC.

I see the Perez/Ellison ensemble is no smarter than Wasserman-Schultz.

There have been two Republicans elected President in this century. Immediately upon winning the election, the dems and the left wing radicals who comprise their base, called them illegitimate and demanded their removal via impeachment, arrest, or assassination. We can now state with almost 100% certainty that from here on out every time a Republican wins, the left will do the same. As such, does anyone really think coexistence with these people is even possible at this point?

@another vet: I’m going to assume that “As such, does anyone really think coexistence with these people is even possible at this point?” is a rhetorical question.

The Communist Party/Democrat Party has zero interest of working to better America. They are absolutely positive the negative outcomes they always experience will be different….this time.

@UpChuckLiberals:

The Communist Party/Democrat Party has zero interest of working to better America.

They want us to be their subjects and will spare nothing to make it happen. Notice how the CPUSA endorsed Obama twice and it didn’t bother them? That’s because they wore it as a badge of honor.
