Last night Donald Trump spoke at the annual Gridiron dinner. While at times serious, he took the opportunity to poke fun at a lot of people, himself included. Among the remarks:
“So many people have been leaving the White House,” Trump said at one point, joking about this week’s spate of White House departures. “It’s invigorating since you want turnover. I like chaos. It really is good. Who’s going to be the next to leave? Steve Miller or Melania?”
Referring to his son-in-law Jared Kushner’s loss of security clearance, he said, “We were late tonight because Jared could not get through security.”
Addressing Vice President Mike Pence’s supposed hostility toward the LGBT community, he said, “He is one of the best straight men you’re ever going to meet. … He is straight. Man.” Trump also said, “I really am proud to call him the apprentice.”
And perhaps the best one;
“I just want to say this, this is one of the best times I’ve had with the media — this might be the most fun I’ve had since watching your faces on Election Night.”
There was a lot of humor. That’s not how it was reported in the Moronic Media.

In the closed-door remarks, a recording of which was obtained by CNN, Trump also praised China’s President Xi Jinping for recently consolidating power and extending his potential tenure, musing he wouldn’t mind making such a maneuver himself.“He’s now president for life. President for life. No, he’s great,” Trump said. “And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot some day.”
President Donald Trump seemingly voiced interest in making the commander-in-chief role a lifetime position at a closed-door fundraiser on Saturday night, praising Chinese President Xi Jinping for recently consolidating lifetime power in his country.
“He’s now president for life,” Trump said at Mar-a-Lago in an audio recording obtained and published in transcript form by CNN. “President for life. And he’s great. And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot some day,”

President Trump on Saturday praised a move by China’s Communist Party to abolish presidential term limits, and suggested that maybe the United States would “give that a shot some day.”
“He’s now president for life. President for life. And he’s great,” Trump told Republican donors during a closed-door even in Florida. A recording of Trump’s remarks was obtained by CNN.
“And look, he was able to do that,” he added. “I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot some day.”
If you listen to the audio, you can hear the laughter following Trump’s comment. The Moronic Media, seeing one more opportunity to hammer Trump, portrayed the remark as a serious overture.
This Trump derangement has gotten so bad that even Bill Maher pretends to be fed up:
Wonder why Fake News resonates so much with Trump fans – because so much of it is fake. Just nonsense made to keep you perpetually offended with an endless stream of ‘controversies’ that aren’t controversial.
But Maher does have a point. It is this overtly biased nonsense that does resonate with Trump supporters. It also casts the Moronic Media in a worse light than it already is. Ironically, earlier in the afternoon Trump said that mainstream media has gone crazy:

One just has to enjoy watching Trump once more setting the hook and the media swallowing it whole.

It does not matter what Trump says the media will twist it
and lurch into outrage. So he is free to have all the fun he wants
with his language. It is actually liberating. His supporters understand humor.
Trump is turning out much better than I anticipated when I reluctantly voted for him. And his ability to irritate all the “right” media people is icing on the cake….

But, seriously, folks, Trump’s joke is nothing to worry about. After all, Obama once cracked a joke about auditing his political opposition and… and… uh. Uh oh.

Perpetual outrage, ever since Hillary and the DNC shot themselves in the foot rigging the game to make sure they had him as an opponent.
No one but themselves to blame.
Meanwhile, the Dems are going increasingly insane, becoming more radical leftist and ostracizing those who aren’t crazy radical enough. Like a snake eating its tail, the Dem party is shrinking, until it dies or completely disappears. Funding for the DNC has certainly shrunk, a clear indicator of their self-destructive path.
