She kissed a terrorist and she liked it

Katy Perry, who seems to be devolving into a version of Miley Cyrus, once again proves the sheer vapidity and hypocrisy of wealthy entertainers. Following the terrible attack in Manchester England Perry offered a large dollop of what passes for thought in her head:

Pop megastar Katy Perry made an impassioned plea for people to “co-exist” and said that “barriers” or “borders” could detract from that goal in an interview following the terrorist bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, U.K. on Monday night that claimed the lives of at least 22 people and injured dozens of others. In an interview Tuesday on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer suggested that people “unite” following the tragedy, which occurred as young fans and their parents were leaving the 21,000-seat arena at around 10:35 p.m. local time.

“Whatever we say behind people’s backs, the Internet can be a little bit ruthless as far as fan bases go but I think that the greatest thing we can do is just unite and love on each other,” Perry said, adding, “No barriers, no borders, we all just need to co-exist.”

“Just coexist”

That’s cute. It’s facile. It’s as simple as she is.

Perry should demonstrate how well this would work. She should pay a visit to Syria and hang out with Yazidi women and see how well co-existing works with ISIS:

Yazidi women seized by Isis are not merely sex slaves – a term which oversexualises their ordeal and diminishes their trauma. They are collateral damage in a systematic attempt to wipe out an entire people.

She should hug it out with ISIS.

As the Islamic State continues its genocide of Yazidis and Christians in Syria and Iraq, a detailed report by the U.N.’s Human Rights Council reveals that Yazidi mothers and their children are brutally persecuted – mothers sold and re-sold as sex slaves, children murdered, and children traumatized from being forced to listen behind locked doors as their mothers are raped and beaten.

In September Perry will be appearing at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville CT. Tickets begin at $141 and go as high as $1600 each.

I predict there will be barriers and borders.

Here’s a good laugh

@Richard Wheeler: Are you sure Mich has a winning record over Alabama? Real sure? Who won the last time they played?

Which team has scored the most points against the other?

Maybe you like the odds against Miss St or S. Carolina or Tennessee better?

@Redteam: Michigan 2 Alabama 2
Alabama record vs LSU 51-26
Mich leads SEC lifetime
Good news for LSU is they’ve yet to play Michigan
ND 6 LSU 5

@Richard Wheeler:

Point is Mich has winning record over most everybody including Alabama and SEC.

Michigan 2 Alabama 2

you consider that a ‘winning record’? Wonder if Mich has a winning record over Georgia? Miss State? Missouri? South Carolina? or Tennessee? Just curious how you define ‘winning record’. According to my numbers, out of 14 teams in the SEC, Mi does not have a ‘winning record’ over 6 of them. Is that ‘dominating a conference’ ? Actually Mi has only played an SEC team 24 times in over a hundred years, winning 14 and losing 10. I guess you’re re-defining the word ‘dominate’.

@Redteam: COVFEFE—Think Trump might outdo Yogi.
Notice you’re using total points scored as a criteria—does that mean you believe HRC beat DT?

@Richard Wheeler:

Notice you’re using total points scored as a criteria—does that mean you believe HRC beat DT?

you noticed that? Where did I mention ‘points’ in relation to it being a win. I used the W/L system to determine the winner. If you got a W at the end of the game, then that meant you Won.
I don’t believe the presidential election and football uses the same scoring systems. Pres elections use Electoral college votes, and foot ball uses the W/L system.

@Redteam: You mentioned most points in #51–of course it’s irrelevant as are most popular votes in Prez elections
Michigan most wins 935 AND best winning percentage 731% in College Football history.
Michigan has lifetime winning record against SEC. Ck your totals. I got it 25-7

Grande going back to play Manchester FULL HOUSE . F— the terrorists.

@Richard Wheeler:

You mentioned most points in #51–

But I didn’t relate points to wins. You don’t pay much attention to detail, do you?

Ck your totals. I got it 25-7

14 -10 Al 2-2 Ark 1-0 Fl 3-0 Ga 1-1 Ken 1-0 Ms 1-0 Ms St 0-1 Mo 2-2 SC 1-2 Tn 0-1 Tx AM 2-1 equals 14-10

Grande

A real POS.

@Redteam: You’re the one who pays no attention to detail–you forgot no wins 10 losses one tie Vanderbilt for starters.–overall 24-10-1 add Tulane 27-10-1—6-3-3 against current teams played I’d say Mich has kicked The SEC’s ass.

You also made ref.in #51 to points as of importance in determining the better team
You tend to make statements then deny what you meant. You think you’re being cute?

Grande a courageous talented young lady.

Kathy Griffin –worthless and without talent

@Richard Wheeler:

Grande a courageous talented young lady.

do you share her views about America?

When did Tulane join the SEC?

@Redteam: Why did you conveniently forget 0-10-1 Vandy? 0-3 Tulane former SEC member Threw em in for a little overkill perhaps.
Try not to mix politics with the arts. Grande said some stupid things and apologized. I’m ok with it.

@Richard Wheeler:

Grande said some stupid things and apologized. I’m ok with it.

:So you have no problem with her view of America?
Because I googled Michigan vs SEC lifetime and it did not pull up Vanderbilt or Tulane. And turns out that neither Vanderbilt or Tulane were members of the SEC at the times the games were played. So much for the ‘overkill’.

@Redteam Tulane and Ga Tech original SEC members : MICH 2-0 against SEC Vandy 1-0 Ga.Tech 2-0 Tulane– Missouri joined later so 0-0
Adjust MICH 17 SEC 8
re Grande–see#60
