Now I hope they do impeach Trump- or at least try

Blood is in the water as the left has reached a the high point of the impeachment feeding frenzy.

Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, the national security adviser, said the president did not divulge “sources and methods” to the Russians. McMaster noted on Tuesday that a Russian airliner was blown up by Islamic terrorists in October 2015, and suggested a mutual concern took over the meeting.

But the media and Democrats, pretending to be born-again, anti-Kremlin security hawks, threw a major hissy fit. There is no denying the Trump revelation to Russia may be serious — yet it may also be routine, as a presidential matter — but the media badly overplayed the story.

And the media were generally proud they overplayed it. At The Washington Post, the newsroom broke into applause as the story surpassed the Post’s own record for most readers-per-minute originally set by the “Hollywood Access” story, according to Glenn Kessler, the Post’s “fact checker” columnist. The “Hollywood Access” story was the Trump scandal during the campaign in which the Post discovered an 11-year-old audiotape of Trump engaging in lewd talk with Billy Bush.

Bashing Trump is good business, and the newsroom has gotten the message.

democrats have gotten what they want. The DOJ has appointed a Special Prosecutor:

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller to serve as special counsel to oversee the previously confirmed FBI investigation of Russian efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election and related matters.

“I have determined that a Special Counsel is necessary in order for the American people to have full confidence in the outcome,” Rosenstein said in a statement.

Never mind that obama did pretty much exactly as Trump has done, except that obama was worse. Much worse. But for liberals history begins on the day Trump was elected and only nothingness existed before that big bang.

The letter announcing the appointment reads that Mueller is authorized to investigate “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and…any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.”

The old proverb says be careful what you wish for. I hope now that Trump is impeached. I hope they get what they want. I hope they enjoy what it brings for the country.

The stock market reached at an all time high– after a Trump speech. Trump is taking obama’s jackboot off the throat of American business.

Small business confidence surged to a 12 year high under Trump.

Optimism among business executives has surged under Trump.

democrats want this to end, because they don’t like Trump. Never mind that no law has been broken.

Even assuming, for the sake of argument, that Mr. Trump intended an implied offer of continued employment in exchange for Mr. Comey’s dismissal of the Flynn investigation, it would be implausible for Mr. Comey to construe it as such. Mr. Comey was aware that he was an at-will employee who could be fired by the president at any time, for any reason. Indeed, when President Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in June 2016 — during the height of the F.B.I.’s investigation into Secretary Clinton’s private email server — it would have been similarly implausible for Mr. Comey to construe Mr. Obama’s pro-Clinton remarks as an implicit offer of continued employment, in exchange for dropping the Clinton investigation. Even though Mr. Comey dropped the investigation one month later, he presumably knew that although it would please both Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton, it would not insulate him from being fired.

But even if one adopted an unprecedentedly broad conception of bribery, Mr. Trump’s purported statement still would not violate Section 1510. The statute is designed to preserve the free flow of information, prohibiting only acts that obstruct investigators’ access to information. Bribery of a potential witness, for example, is behavior prohibited by Section 1510. But telling the F.B.I. director that someone is a “good guy” and expressing the hope that an investigation will cease does not obstruct the free flow of information.

Never mind that FBI Deputy Director McCabe testified -after Trump fired Comey- that no one has tried to impede the Russia investigation.

Never mind that if Comey felt Trump was trying to obstruct justice Comey was duty bound to report it to the DOJ right away.

As I said, be careful what you wish for. As news of Mueller’s appointment today spread, the market dropped 370 points.

It’s just the beginning.

Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric who has President Donald Trump’s ear, told CNBC on Wednesday that an impeachment would crush the stock market.

“An impeachment proceeding would blow the market away,” Welch said on “Squawk Box.” Welch also said Trump’s firing of James Comey as FBI director was a “rookie mistake.” He added, “You don’t make any friends doing it the way [Trump] did it.”

“I think without question we have a guy that’s on the right agenda with crappy management practices,” Welch said, giving the president a “D minus” on his management skills. Trump needs to unite all the different factions in the White House, get to the bottom of the media leaks, and get back to his message of “Make America Great Again,” he added.

Welch gives Trump an “A” for boosting morale among businesses and consumers.

With a show of real intestinal fortitude, democrat blowhards have begun poll testing the effect of impeachment:

Democratic strategists are racing to figure out whether it’s politically wise to call for President Donald Trump’s impeachment, as one bombshell revelation after another about his ties to Russia is forcing candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives to consider the question far sooner than anyone had expected.

In a significant development, party operatives say they expect Democrats to poll-test the public’s views on impeachment, trying to acquire hard data about an issue that until now has not been seriously analyzed. Other strategists say that candidates and party organizations will begin conducting focus groups on the question.

These operatives acknowledge they’ve been caught off guard by the speed with which impeachment has become a relevant issue – and are wary of the political damage it could cause if not handled correctly.

I say go for it

Senate Democrats must defend 10 states that Trump won during last year’s election.

“Voting for a check on Trump is one thing,” said one national Democratic strategist, granted anonymity to speak candidly about party strategy. “But if a vote for a check on the president . . . becomes a de facto vote for an impeachment trial, the task in front of us will only get more difficult.”

Never mind the effect impeachment proceedings would have on the economy.

I hope they do try to impeach Trump. I kind of hope they impeach him and suffer the fallout. But if they try and they fail, Trump will absolutely be re-elected, stronger than before, and democrats will lose even more seats than they have lost up to now.

They have done this to every Republican President since Nixon. Power hungry rabid socialists not wanting this country to get back on its feet. Ignorant Polls be damned this Preident has much support.
But nevermind he past administration https://archive.org/stream/The64ImpeachableOffensesOfBarackHusseinObama/The64ImpeachableOffens
Those racists just expected the Race Card president to follow the law, how dare they! If Comey thought Trump was trying to obstruct Justice he himself broke the law by not immediately reporting it to his superior, this memo is simply an attempt to smear the President who just fired his self serving ass.
Sorry Doc I disagree with you this impeachment thing only makes the Democrats look like A$$es, and proceedings would slow down the agenda to back us out of this New World Order crap that is destroying the Republic.

Awww, Medical Malpractice is melting.
Poor snowflake.
Needless to say, if it had been that black guy who did what Trump has done, DrJohn would have had dropped dead from a heart attack.

No comment on the Festivus-like speech at Coast Guard graduation?
The airing of the grievous season starts early.

@kitt:

Power hungry rabid socialists not wanting this country to get back on its feet.

ESPECIALLY under a Republican president. The dumbocraps are afraid the country might prosper and the Republicans would get credit for it. Only problem is, I think many former dumbocraps had have enough also and voted to support Trump in this election. They are now seeing Republicans as far as the eye can see if they can’t discredit Trump. Alas, they will fail. Trump will not be impeached. He hasn’t lied to the Congress under oath as Slick did. He’s also not a pardoned felony draft dodger. The Dumbocraps are getting desperate.

Mad Madam Maxine(Waters)and Big Al Green calling for Trumps impeachment yet these same little cream puffs did’nt raise a finger while Obama was abusiung his power on office cercumventing congress and abusing executive orders and going over the heads of the Senate and doing as he pleased. Frankly Waters and Green as well as all those Impeach Trump wanks need to leave america and ever ever return

@Spurwing Plover: Yes they call for his impeachment but not one can name a statute that they can apply, its hot air hype. Let them eat the newest crap sandwich they are creating.

Demacrats no longer in power are as dangerous as a wounded wild critter

@kitt: Now that there is a special counsel in the case we’ll find out what happened one way or the other. Hopefully Mueller looks into the Rich murder. Not saying it was committed by the DNC but it may show that it was known back then that he was the DNC leaker meaning the country has been lied to since it happened for political reasons by blaming the Russians.

Lindsey Graham has finally worked up the courage by saying now that the Russian collusion conspiracy is being handled by Mueller, Congress needs to open an investigation into collusion between the Clinton campaign and Obama’s DOJ. About time. Either the Republicans start showing some backbone about dem scandals or they will see a bunch of people stay home in 2018 like they did in 2006 and they can kiss their Congressional majority goodbye.

@another vet:
I have yet to see or hear anyone state exactly which law prohibits Americans and Russians from discussing elections. They keep referring to Trump campaign and Russians and election. Is there a law that says I can’t talk to a Russian about American elections? or About Russian elections? I’ve never heard about this law. Is it illegal, oh say…..to hire a Russian to work for your campaign if you are running for office? What law would that be? Can the FBI investigate if you have broken a law that doesn’t exist. Someone clear this up if you know of a law.

@Redteam

I have yet to see or hear anyone state exactly which law prohibits Americans and Russians from discussing elections.:

It’s in the Constitution in the same article and section that discusses abortion and gay marriage. Article 42, Section 19 or something like that.

@kitt:

“young male immigrants of Middle Eastern appearance … may fit the terrorist profile best.”

Ironic given that administration took that out but labeled those of us who served this country overseas in GWOT as potential threats to be put on a terrorist watch list.

@another vet: This guy was in charge of the FBI as the Boston Bomber was traveling home to be trained, the info from Russia on him fumbled? Was this guy suggested by Valarie or Huma?

This is an attempted Coup d’état . You know that he effort is off the rails when your Joan d’Arc is Maxine Waters.

dj, aside from the profound hypocrisy and asinine selective memory of your history of Democratic vrs republican governance, couldn’t even you concede that trump may have somewhat brought some of these problems on himself?

@another vet: Oh yeah, now all I have to do is figure out where that is.

@Ajay42302: HoJay, they put you back on the payroll?

@Ajay42302: No. You and your kind brought these problems on all of us.

Guess it’s time for your ilk to pay your due, in the way of irrelevance.

I’m sure Burger King is hiring, troll. Your handlers are about out of money.

@Nathan Blue: They just gave Hojay a short extension. They’re only paying him for one week out of each month and that is ending soon. troll money is getting short.

@Redteam: @Nathan Blue:

Interesting. It appears the masters have granted the puppets permission to once again heckle.

@Jim Thorpe: Ol Mad Max thinks Trump coming up with “Crooked Hillary” is an impeachable offense, for some of the things I think of her I’d be on Death Row. Her and Mc Cain have been real media whores as of late.
Mc Cain a bit jealous Trump has a Presidential letter saying he would make a great President, all he got was a lousy pardon.

@kitt:

Mc Cain a bit jealous Trump has a Presidential letter saying he would make a great President, all he got was a lousy pardon

Yes, the Hanoi songbird is extremely envious of Trump. If he had any standards he might have gotten elected 8 years ago, but everyone knew he couldn’t be trusted. Still can’t be.

@Ajay42302:

It appears the masters have granted

No, I haven’t granted you permission.

@Redteam: Google it. Google has already changed the definition of fascism to something that comes nowhere close to what it means so they may have updated the Constitution as well.

@kitt: Unfortunately, it is hard to find someone in DC who doesn’t smell of swamp water, at least a little. Right now he has bipartisan support but that will change the minute he announces whether or not Trump committed an impeachable offense. I do think Flynn is going to get nailed with something.

If Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia. Exactly which law covers that? I have not heard anyone quote the law. What specifically does the law prohibit? Is there really a law that say: An American can not discuss an election with a Russian. Lot’s of people talk all around it but I have not heard the law quoted. Anyone?

Yammer,yammer,yammer listen to the mindless blabbering little wackos,snowflakes and wimpotards and their ending whining,whimpering and sniveling

@Spurwing Plover: I’ve heard that Toys R Us is now supplying adult (in the case of liberals that would be 8 – 14) coloring books for the lefties quiet rooms. They are mostly targeted to the Ivy League and California colleges.

@PhulofMarlowe:

that black guy

what black guy?
Note: that’s one l.

@PhulofMarllowe:

No comment on the Festivus-like speech at Coast Guard graduation?

Festivus-like ? oooh, look at those big words.
note: the second l is now in the right place.

@PhillipMarlowe: You know, Trump defeated a white woman, not a black guy. You better save your racist racism cards; you might need them later.

@Redteam: always big words, Reddy. From ghtens the less educated and the insane.

@Nathan Blue:

No. You and your kind brought these problems on all of us.

It’s expected for trump lickers to disregard reality in their hypocritical, prejudice, delusional, dishonest, and unhinged world but that statement kinda jumps the shark for even the most rabid of the trump bowel dwellers.

Aside from the many many many disqualifications, lies, scandals, and on an on of the self proclaimed sexual assaulting con man that could take up page after page after page, let’s just focus on this week alone.

Imagine if you possibly can, had House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi stated in 2013 “I think Putin pays Obama” (as Paul Ryan stated this week “I think Putin pays Trump”, the outrage of the right (and rightfully so). Now imagine some Daily Koes responder saying something stupid like “those right wingers brought these problems on all of us”. Get how dishonest and stupid that you sound?

Just try to grasp how the right would have reacted (and again, rightfully so) had the Justice Department had to appoint a special counsel to oversee a probe of Russian meddling in 2012 election to seat Obama. Kick around if you can how the right would have responded had it been exposed in the same week that the Obama campaign had at least 18 undisclosed contacts with Russians during that campaign.

Try to consider how republicans would have dealt with more breaking news in that same week that Obama knew his National Security Advisor was under investigation prior to his nomination and placement in the WH. And what if that Obama National Security Advisor just happened to have stopped a plan military action that Turkey opposed and that Turkey handed him $500,000 for doing so.

And that’s just some of what this week alone has brought up and disregards mountains of incriminating scandals of previous weeks.

So again I reiterate my question to spineless dr john that perhaps his hero might hold an iota of responsibility for this mess of governance and that your comment that “No. You and your kind brought these problems on all of us” is nothing more than the expected ignorant bigotry (not to be confused with racism) that tends to come from a genuflecting trump licker.

@Ajay42302: What a deluded crybaby.

No, in the real world, for there to be an investigation, there has to be some measure of actual reason. Not so with liberals, as they don’t care to try to hide their hypocrisy and lying.

@Bill… Deplorable Me:
Yep, the resident trolls have been given permission to once again respond to my credible, rational and factual arguments with the standard rubber/glue nonsensical gibberish. Or put another way, the rodeo clowns have once again been deployed to distract from the abject hypocrisy and dishonesty of the thread writer (by of course, calling anyone that compromises the validity of his rant a hypocrite and dishonest) while the writer cowardly ducks under the fence and scurries from his exposed fraudulence.

Is it that a trump licker actually believes in the man they bow at the waist to (or perhaps salutes in Hiel Trump fashion) or is it that your profound bigotry and blind festered hatred of anyone not marching lockstep to your mindset forbids you to see anything wrong with this false god you worship?

@Ajay42302: See Trump uniting the moderate Arab world against radical Islam instead of supporting the radical Muslim Brotherhood, which spawned unrest and violence all across the region and opened the door in Syria to Obama’s ISIS threat? See Trump being a world leader instead of an instigating community organizer?

The next fact you post will be your first.

@another vet: Flynn won’t honor subpoena–he’ll plead the 5th.
“If you take the 5th you gotta be guilty of something–right” so sayeth DT–SO I guess you’re right AV
Mueller is former boss and a great pal of Comeys–how does that work?

@Richard Wheeler: I think he did something wrong. Fortunately, we have a DOJ that appointed a special counsel to investigate this as opposed to covering it up like Obama’s DOJ did with all of his administration’s scandals.

@PhulofMarllowe:

From ghtens the less educated and the insane.

Are you planning to switch back to English at some point?

At least you finally have your name straightened out.

@Ajay42302:

rubber/glue nonsensical gibberish.

Straight from the liberal playbook.

@Bill… Deplorable Me:

The next fact you post will be your first.

That’ll never happen.

@Richard Wheeler:

Flynn won’t honor subpoena–he’ll plead the 5th.

that won’t work, all they have to do is give him immunity.

@Redteam:They haven’t offered it and he won’t take it if they do–he could still be prosecuted which is what he now expects.

@Richard Wheeler: RW, are you saying that if they give him immunity from prosecution that they can still prosecute him? I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work that way.

But then, as Yogi said: ” If the world were perfect, it wouldn’t be”.

@Richard Wheeler: RW, what was it he is supposed to have done? I still haven’t heard a ‘crime’ mentioned. Maybe I’m just missing something.

@Redteam: House and Senate rejected his immunity request–subpoena not honored indictment to follow will answer your question. He’s retained criminal counsel-this will be long and drawn out–what’s new

@Richard Wheeler:

indictment to follow will answer your question. He’s retained criminal counsel-

interesting, still haven’t heard what he is being accused of. Not sure anyone knows, probably because he’s not being charged with anything.

I think they missed the fork in the road.

@Redteam:
Yogi ” You can observe by just watching.”

Observe this Tucker’s ratings down 35% in O’Reilly slot–NO SURPRISE TO ME.
