Chicago Mayor vows to protect illegal alien criminals and gangs from deportation

The mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, has announced that Chicago will remain a sanctuary city and that it will not cooperate with ICE and defy any orders given by a President Donald Trump.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel promised Monday to defy President-elect Donald Trump’s deportation orders and vowed that the city will always be a so-called sanctuary city.

Chicago laws prohibit government workers and police officers from asking the locals about their immigration status, according to the Chicago Tribune. Emanuel reaffirmed that the policy will continue.

“To all those who are, after Tuesday’s election, very nervous and filled with anxiety as we’ve spoken to, you are safe in Chicago, you are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago,” Emanuel said. “Chicago will always be a sanctuary city.”

Trump made clear that he wants to deport criminal illegals:

“What we are going to do is get the people that are [criminals] and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers,” Trump said. “We have a lot of these people. Probably two million, it could be even three million. We are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate.

“After the border is secured and after everything gets normalized,” Trump added, “we’re going to make a determination on [other undocumented immigrants] … But before we make that determination … we want to secure our border.”

Rahm is the guy who expressed a desire to kill several Clinton “enemies” in 1992:

The most infamous Rahmbo story of them all is the one that begins with the dinner the night after Bill Clinton was elected in 1992. Among those present at the dinner table was ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos, who watched while an overwrought and clearly exhausted Emanuel began ranting at a long list of Clinton “enemies.” As he shouted each name, he stabbed the table with his steak knife: “Nat Landow! Dead! Cliff Jackson! Dead!” Apparently, others joined in.

Let’s see what old Rahm has vowed to protect.

As much as 80% of crime in the country is committed by gangs which are largely comprised of illegal aliens:

Criminal street gangs—mostly comprised of illegal immigrants—are responsible for the majority of violent crimes in the United States and are the primary distributors of most illicit drugs.

The alarming, but not surprising, information is revealed in a new report published by the Justice Department’s National Gang Intelligence Center(NGIC), an FBI task force created in 2005 to curb the growing threat of violent gangs in the U.S. The NGIC teams up with state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the nation to enforce, study and intercept gangs and has published several reports documenting their activities.

Before the agency’s publication was made public a national newspaper revealed some of its findings. It says that up to 80% of crime in the U.S. is committed by gangs and that gang membership in this country has grown to 1 million, an increase of 200,000 in the last few years.

MS13 has spread into 42 states in the US, including Illinois- Chicago in particular:

Riding a wave of migration from Mexico and Central America, a handful of California street gangs have arrived in many Chicago suburbs.

Four gangs in particular – 18th Street, Surenos 13’s, Nortenos 14’s and Mara Salvatrucha – can now be found in nearly two dozen Chicago-area communities, large and small.

In the past two years, California gang members have been fingered in shootings or stabbings in Elgin, Joliet, West Chicago, Addison, Franklin Park and Bensenville.

Some gang experts worry they eventually may make a push into Chicago, particularly on the Southwest Side, in the neighborhoods around Midway Airport.

Already, 68,000 gang members have staked out turf here. Blending in among the Chicago area’s established street gangs now, these California newcomers are a curiosity of sorts.

Emanuel seems entirely oblivious to the carnage in his city. This year to date there have been 620 shooting deaths in Chicago, in addition to more than 3200 shot and wounded. Chicago has been a war zone:

Reports this week are horrific and yet, not surprising. Chicago has had its most violent month since 1997, with the Chicago Tribune reporting 11 people murdered the last weekend of August. According to USA Today, the murder rate in Chicago has soared 72 percent in 2016.

But here’s the number which should give every American true perspective: In Afghanistan, from the start of the war in 2001 to August 2016, there have been 2,384 American casualties. In Chicago, since 2009 to August 2016, there have been 3,686 homicides. In other words, under President Obama’s watch, there have been 1,302 more people murdered in an American city in half the time compared to the longest war in U.S. history.

When asked by a perplexed media if Mr. Obama had any plan to address the carnage in his hometown, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the president was “concerned” but according to the Free Beacon noted, “Well, I’m not aware of any specific prescription that the president’s prepared to put forward to address the situation just in Chicago.”

This is a rather strange passivity for a man who gives speeches and issues executive orders about which bathroom school children should use, yet he’s just not into engaging on an issue that kills those same children as they walk to school.

It’s nice of Emanuel to continue to provide a welcome mat for illegal alien criminals and gangs at the cost of his constituents. obama has released 166,000 illegal alien criminals onto the US streets. Fortunately for them they have a place to go where they can be free to commit more crime and not be bothered with such hassles as deportation. Similarly, MS 13 gangs and illegal alien rapists and murderers are breathing a sigh of relief knowing that they will not be hindered in Chicago. If an illegal kills say, a young woman, they have a space safe from ICE thanks to Rahm.

One might call it the “Hate Kate” policy.

You’re still a Dr, John, right?
Under ObamaCare there has been an epidemic of brand-new heroin addicts.
In Utah this is the pattern:
A patient in pain sees a doctor and gets opiods.
He becomes addicted.
ObamaCare is the reason doctors are afraid to keep a patient on opiods as long as he’s in pain, then weening him off under supervision, something turning him over to an anesthesiologist used to make possible.
His doctor cuts him off cold after a certain length of time.
Still in pain, he tries to buy those same drugs on the streets.
But they are very expensive on the street.
After a time he can no longer afford such pricey medication.
He switches to heroin from the same dealers.
It is a lot cheaper.
Gangs leaders follow the heroin’s supply and demand route.
Gangs are well set up on the West-side of the Jordan River Valley here south of Salt Lake.
Gangs fight and kill both competing gangs as well as innocent bystanders.

Excuse me but dos’nt this same jerk of a moron mayor want to disarm the citizens of the Windy City? Frankly he and the city council need to be arrested for harboring the enemy along with the mayors and city councils of all sancuary cities in america their TRAITORS and CRINIMALS

@Nanny G:
northeaster ohio has a major “pink heroin” problem. Rahm is an idiot and yes he wants to disarm chi. one has to understand that the gangs in chi pay a tribute to rahn for allowing them to exist. chi. is one of the filthiest political cesspools in the country.
Nanny, really need to review how opioids are used in medicine. read your review and this is not the pattern of prescribing. in chi. the cops control the narcotics.

This dude says he’s going to clog the sewer!! Minor storage but the plunger is on his way!!

Further PROOF that for all their talk about gun control being in the interest of public safety is a load of crap. The left only cares about political power and how to retain it. These sanctuary cities will create a problem for themselves that will how too large to correct.

So, let them store all the illegal miscreants within their city limits but pull all federal taxpayer dollars from their endless ATM’s. It’ll make the red areas in the US safer. We’ll see these liberal cesspools turn into “Robocop’s” Detroit.

These mayors of these sancuary cities are traitors and need to be arrested along with their city councils Lock them up throw away the key and feed them on bread and water or just turn them all over to Joe Arpio he would know what to do with these scoundrels

In each of these cases, a complaint should be filed in the appropriate federal court. The order should be issued to make these mayors to comply with federal immigration law. If they fail as it would seem likely, they could be held in contempt and then placed in jail.

He didn’t say he was going to protect criminals and gang members from deportation.

Chicago laws prohibit government workers and police officers from asking the locals about their immigration status, according to the Chicago Tribune. Emanuel reaffirmed that the policy will continue.

A president is not a king who rules the land by proclamation. Chicago government employees are not under the command authority of the President of the United States, be that Barack Obama or Donald Trump. That’s not how government works.

States sometimes have laws that are in conflict with federal laws and regulations. It’s not necessarily the responsibility of local law enforcement officials to go out of their way to enforce them. The federal government does have the Constitutional authority to appear on the scene and enforce federal law. Nobody has suggested stopping them from doing so.

28 states and DC now have medical marijuana laws. At some point Congress surrendered it’s authority to schedule drugs to the bureaucratic troglodytes running the DEA, who in their infinite wisdom have decided that a plant growing in nature which has countless benefits and a lower potential for harm than many legal products should be a Schedule I substance. The king may not command local authorities to take the side of the DEA in this idiocy.

I thought you people placed some value on state rights.

@Greg: Aren’t you the person who wants to abolish the electrical college? That is a state right. Interfering with a federal investigation by harboring criminals is a felony. The president is well within his rights to detain any state official who impedes a federal action.

I am sure that Chicago under the current mayor is trying to live up to the criminal enterprises of Chicago’s past. I would not be surprised that if the shootings continue at the current rate, there likely will be federal intervention. I doubt that the gangs only operate in Illinois. They likely operate across state lines. Also, they likely violate the commerce act. I am sure there is a wide variety of means to combat an arrogant criminal like the current Chicago mayor. He may also be indicted in the fast and furious case.

BOYCOTT SANCUARY CITIES HIT WHERE IT HURTS

The president is well within his rights to detain any state official who impedes a federal action.

Who’s impeding them? The mayor of Chicago simply isn’t going to put the city employees he has authority over at the king’s disposal—because we don’t have a king. Deal with it.

@Greg: Your right about not having a king Greggie!! We have a President Elect Donald Trump, deal with that!!

@Greg: You are really having trouble with reality. You need to consult with your therapist in your “safe place”.

Chicago has always been a sanctuary city… for criminals. That’s why Obama and Rahm take sanctuary there. For the sake of votes, they continue to provide sanctuary for criminals.

In the old days, the elected officials would provide sanctuary in exchange for cash. Now they do it for votes and, likely, cash payments from businesses that wish to continue to exploit the illegal immigrant labor pool.

Liberals simply don’t care about public safety of taxpayer’s money. They just don’t. All they care about is votes and remaining in power to continue raking in the cash.

Chicago is derived from the indian word for Bad Smell/Skunk is certianly fits with the stench of the demacrats and corupt mayor and city council they all need to be indited and banished from america

@Randy, #9:

Aren’t you the person who wants to abolish the electrical college?

No, I’m not, and if you search for a post where I said such a thing, you’ll be wasting your time. There was discussion about how the Electoral College works, and it was pointed out that Clinton won the popular election.

Clinton’s margin has continued to grow as remaining ballots are counted. Clinton’s count now stands at 62,829,832 popular votes compared with Trump’s 61,488,190 votes—in other words, 1.34 million more Americans voted for Clinton than Trump. 4 million votes remain to be counted in Utah—a state where Trump is very unpopular—so her margin will likely be even greater.

Trump will be president only because of the way the Electoral Collage works. Far more voters rejected him than approved of him. He is not a president elected by the people. He has no mandate from the people to do anything.

Trump will be president only because of the way the Electoral Collage works. Over a million more voters rejected him than approved of him. He is not a president elected by the people. He has no mandate from the people to do anything.

@Greg:

What do you call 300+ electoral votes to her 200, a loss. The Republicans have a mandate because the people repudiated the progressivism that the left has promulgated for the past 8 years and for that matter, the past 100+ years.

We’re we to elect a President based on popular vote alone, there would be no need to have a Senate. The framers knew that populations could or would coalesce in dense areas and having only a popular vote to elect president would not be representative of all of the people. There is no argument for having a popular vote verses the electoral college.

@Greg: BS Greggie, unless there is valid national voter ID then the popular vote can NOT be considered accurate and you know that. Do you really think Democrats who are now whining about abolishing the EC for Popular vote would go alone with this?? I don’t even think your that ignorant are you. Voter fraud in California due to illegal immigration is at best unknown.

@July 4th American, #18:

Well over a million more voters voted against your policies and your candidate than for them. You won an election, but don’t delude yourself into thinking it’s because you’ve won majority support.

@Common Sense, #19:

The electoral college vote count in each state is based on the popular vote count in each state. It’s just a handicapping system, that makes the individual votes of people from some states count more than the individual votes of people from other states. Republicans tend to think this makes perfect sense, because every one of the four times it’s put a president in the White House who won fewer total votes, that president has been a republican.

The only case of voter fraud to be established this election involved Terri Lynn Rote, an Iowa Trump supporter who attempted to vote for him twice. Republicans have never been able to establish a statistically significant level of voter fraud. All studies indicate this isn’t actually happening. The assertion is just useful for stirring up their base—usually because they claim it’s some non-white minority group that is stealing elections.

@Greg:

There you going again harping on the popular vote. No one knows the total popular vote because all votes cast are not counted. Facts elude you like mrs clinton eludes the law….

@Greg: So Greggie, are you saying there is NO voter fraud in California by illegals voting?? Are you really this stupid??

@Greg:

The way the democrat party is going and will continue with chuck U shumer becoming senate minority leader, Nancy Pelosi most likely remaining house minority leader and Keith “X” Ellison becoming dnc chief, it is not likely the democrats will win the WH again via the electoral college.

@July 4th American, #21:

There you going again harping on the popular vote. No one knows the total popular vote because all votes cast are not counted. Facts elude you like mrs clinton eludes the law….

Of course all popular votes are counted. They’re counted until the final total is known, even when the outcome of the election is already certain because the count of electoral votes can be accurately projected. People simply cease paying attention to the popular vote count once the winner is known.

The popular vote is still being tabulated. As of this morning, Clinton’s popular national vote count stands at 63,045,266, against Trump’s count of 61,607,950. Clinton now has 1.4 million more popular votes than Donald Trump. Tabulation will continue until all votes have been counted.

@Common Sense, #22:

So Greggie, are you saying there is NO voter fraud in California by illegals voting?? Are you really this stupid??

I’m not at all stupid. Numerous studies have been undertaken to determine if voter fraud is actually a significant issue in national elections in the United States. No credible evidence has ever been found that it is—and a lot of time and money have been expended by the political right trying to find such proof. Claims of widespread voter fraud are complete bullshit.

Voter suppression is another matter. Republican legislatures in a number of states used claims of widespread voter fraud to make voting a lot more difficult for targeted groups that tend to vote as democrats, shortening early voting hours and days, requiring students away at college to return to their home states or counties to vote, trying to exclude student photo IDs as acceptable evidence of identity, etc. There were also instances of polling places being changed without sufficient announcement.

This sort of thing certainly aided Trump, if not being sufficient in and of itself to alter the outcome of the election. As few as 112,000 additional democratic votes could have changed the Electoral College outcome.

How many undecided voters were influenced by Russian meddling? How many were influenced by the timing of bogus FBI leaks? Why do you insist that the election was somehow rigged against Donald Trump—the guy who won even though nearly a million-and-a-half more voters rejected him than approved of him?

Maybe you should just be content with the fact that your boy will be in the Oval Office, and stop trying to convince people who know better that this is somehow the best possible outcome. Then we might stop pointing out that you don’t know what you’re talking about.

It will be interesting under a Trump administration to see these scofflaw Mayors and officials arrested and tried for harboring illegal aliens (in violation of Federal law). Orange is the new black.

Stupidity is the new winner. That will be demonstrated by its consequences.

@Greg:

No they are not, absentee ballots in states where the difference in vote total is greater that the number of uncounted absentee ballots are not counted. That has been established, not all votes cast are counted.

@July 4th American, #28:

Are absentee ballots counted?

Yes, all votes are counted, whether they’re cast in-person or by absentee ballot.

It is a common misconception that absentee ballots are only counted during very tight races. This misconception stems from two things: one, absentee ballots are often counted for days after the election since many are coming from abroad; two, absentee ballots are often a small percentage of all voted ballots. Many elections have a clear winner, so the absentee ballots that are still being counted after election night don’t affect the results as predicted right after the polls close. As absentee voting becomes more popular, however, an increasing number of elections are decided by absentee ballots.

Ditto, Lock them up throw away the key and feed them on bread and water or just turn them all over the Sheriff Joe Arpio im sure he would know waht to do with these traitors

@Greg:

Perhaps it would have been more accurate in my blog post “Hillary wins the popular vote – not” to characterize the inconsistencies in the handling of absentee ballots as a town-by-town situation rather than a blanket statewide scenario. There are not, to my knowledge, any formal statutes that forbid the counting of absentee ballots until or unless the in-person state ballots have been counted first.

However, in conversations with town officials, I have learned that it is not unusual for some officials, faced with late-night eleventh-hour time horizons and an overwhelmingly one-sided vote tally up and down the ballot, to adopt a somewhat laissez-faire attitude and call it a wrap when uncounted or unreceived absentee ballots are not of sufficient number to influence the outcome. To think that every town official adheres to an unfailingly airtight approach – even when the outcome anywhere on the ballot in that district is well beyond even the slightest question – is to have an unrealistic faith in a theoretical process that is naive to a frighteningly mind-numbing degree.

Military ballots are a particularly perplexing quandary. They don’t require postage, being guaranteed safe delivery by virtue of them being submitted by military members. Since there is no postage requiring the cancelation of a postmark, they are often not postmarked. Yet absentee ballots, if postmarked on or before the election, can be received several days after the election and still be valid.

But if a military absentee ballot comes in after the deadline and has no dated postmark (which its not required to have), is it counted or not, especially if the number of such ballots doesn’t affect the outcome? On whose say-so? It’s impossible to determine when it was actually mailed, since there’s no dated postmark, so who gets to make that pure judgment call? The individual town official. When Town XYZ reports that Candidate ABC won 4,522-2,367, the outside world has no concrete way of knowing how many absentee and military votes are or are not counted.

Finally, the big picture is the implication that if Clinton won the popular vote, she’s somehow “entitled” to a certain consideration. This kind of thinking betrays the utter ignorance of certain political “analysts” with regard to running a campaign under the Electoral College system. The goal under the EC is to win the state, not maximize the popular vote margin in that state. If a candidate is pretty sure he’ll (or she’ll) win that state, he turns his attention to the next state. If the goal was to maximize the absolute vote count margin within every state, the strategy would be quite different, the ground game would be different, the TV ad buys and strategy would be different, the phone outreach would be different, etc. Faced with the necessity of maximizing his individual vote count, the campaigns run by the respective candidate would have been quite different, with totally unpredictable results compared to the actuals under the Electoral College.

The thought that Hillary may not have won the popular vote, and that she certainly may not have had that been the candidates’ campaign goal, stands.

But they’re generally counted only if their number would potentially alter the outcome.

There is no question that not all absentee ballots are counted.

@Greg: Actually, more people voted against Hillary than for her. Doesn’t that matter?

To paraphrase the InstaPundit, they could do something about the gang problem but then there would be insufficient opportunities for graft.

@Greg:

The federal government does have the Constitutional authority to appear on the scene and enforce federal law.

So Greg, you would have no problem if Trump had 20,000 Federal police officers hired and sent them into the streets of Chicago to enforce Federal law? you’re saying that would be ok with you, that is the way it’s supposed to be? My personal belief is that local police should protect their local citizens and if it gets uncontrollable, they should ask for outside assistance. Apparently you feel as if Trump shouldn’t ask, just send in 20 thousand federal policeman. That about right?

@Greg: Do you need a crying towel? Amazon has a good supply.

India sets up Muslim registry to deport 20 million illegals

Indian officials are registering all illegal Muslim Bangladeshi residents in the state of Assam in an apparent bid to reduce the Muslim population.

“The Hindu rate of population growth is declining. But the Muslim rate is rising. Most of the Muslims here are from Bangladesh. If this continues, the Assamese Hindus will become a minority soon — we will lose our language, our culture, our identity,” Assam’s finance minister told The Washington Post.

The registration and deportation effort is known as “detect-delete-deport.” Indian officials are now concerned that Bangladeshi Islamic terrorist organizations, like the Islamic State, can infiltrate India by posing as illegal immigrants.

(Excerpt) Read more at dailycaller.com …

India also has voter ID so illegals cannot vote.

Imagine that, those racists.

A quick defund of Chicago so next winter no plowing sanding or salting, the citizens of Chicago cant get to work or the grocery store, perhaps the illegals will shovel them out.

@kitt: good comment. Let’s see how long ‘sanctuary city’ remains with no federal money. Love it. California is bankrupt, all the illegals have killed the state. They don’t know it yet. They can’t figure out why, they want more illegals to come into their sanctuary cities, think the Federal gov will just send them more money. News flash: The Republicans don’t need California’s votes. cut off all their Federal money until they get the illegals situation in hand. Watch out Texas, here comes the California riff raff.

@RedTeam: Cali is a good example they speak of leaving the union, what happens when we shut off the water supply? How fast can they build desalination plants? The deserts of Arizona and NM would bloom with much more produce than Cali could ever produce, dont they also get electric from the hoover? Yes the rats run to high ground only to spread their plague.

Note to admin: would you please put the Html tags back so it will be easier to quote someone, thanks

@kitt: I’d like for the remainder of the US to vote to allow Ca to secede. They would find out that without all the water from the US, the grass might not be greener. I would expect a mass exodus, especially when they figured out they would be surrendering rights to Social Security and Medicare since it is not available in foreign countries. I’m sure they would remove the fence at the border between Ca and Mexico and remove all requirements for ID’s. Yep, mass exodus of ‘former’ US citizens. Of course they would have to apply for a Visa to visit the US and the border fence would then be between Ca, Az, Nev and Or.
So RW, would you surrender your US citizenship for CA citizenship?
