Earlier this month a Wikileaks email disclosed that Donna Brazile had leaked a debate question to the Clinton campaign:
An email published Wednesday suggests that the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee had the text of a proposed question before a town hall event with Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders earlier this year.
Donna Brazile, the chair, is then thought to have shared the question with the Clinton campaign.
The email, which was provided to Politico, contains the exact wording of a question that one of the town-hall moderators, TV One’s Roland Martin, sent to CNN producers before the town hall. It matches the language in an email Brazile sent to the Clinton campaign one day earlier.
That email was part of the recent WikiLeaks release of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta’s leaked emails. In the email, sent to Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri, Brazil said that she “gets questions in advance.”
It was vigorously denied at the time. Brazile had a terse exchange with Megyn Kelly
Jake Tapper found it appalling:
The CNN host of The Lead with Jake Tapper went on to express dismay over the leak purportedly emanating from his cable network.
“It’s horrifying. Journalistically it’s horrifying,” Tapper said, “and I’m sure it will have an impact on partnering with this organization in the future and I’m sure it will have an effect on… Donna Brazile is no longer with CNN because she’s with the DNC right now, but I’m sure it will have some impact on Donna Brazile.”
Tapper also assured WMAL that CNN takes this “very, very seriously.”
The leak turned out to be true, and there was more to come.
A March 12 email exchange shows Brazile stating that she received a town hall question from Roland Martin, a TV One host who co-moderated a March 13 town hall with CNN’s Jake Tapper.
A March 5 email shows that she shared a question with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and communications director Jennifer Palmieri that was to be asked in a March 6 debate hosted by CNN in Flint, Mich.
Smelling the coffee, CNN cut Brazile loose:
“We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor.”
Trump correctly noted that he’d be crucified for doing the same thing.
Republican nominee Donald Trump told an audience of roughly 8,000 cheering fans that if he had cheated in presidential debates the way rival Hillary Clinton had, he would be sent to the “electric chair.”
Clinton cheated in the debate. It was rigged.
Then Trump asks the best question of all:
Why didn’t Clinton own up to getting the questions in advance?
Left out of this discussion is hillary clinton’s involvement in this mess. She didn’t own up to it because she is a congenital liar, without honesty or integrity. She cheated. Why isn’t anyone talking about this/ This country should not be made to suffer her corruption.
