NEW YORK, NY - JULY 23: Huma Abedin, wife of Anthony Weiner, a leading candidate for New York City mayor, speaks during a press conference on July 23, 2013 in New York City. James Comey’s announcement that the FBI was re-opening the botched investigation into hillary clinton’s emails has resulted in all kinds of left wing outrage, from umbrage to calling for Comey’s resignation.  Calculatingly, the the left is calling for Comey to release the emails but it was only last night that the FBI was granted a warrant to search the Abedin emails.

In the process of investigating Huma Abedin husband Anthony Weiner’s alleged sexting with an underage girl FBI agents found 650,000 Abedin emails on the computer apparently shared by Weiner and Abedin.  The email metadata indicated those emails included State.Gov emails and emails from hillary clinton’s private server. That has democrats in a fury are they’re verbally assaulting James Comey from every corner.

But it wasn’t always that way. Back in July democrats were effusive in their praise of Comey:

In July 2016, Clinton’s Campaign Put Out A Statement Touting James Comey As “Well-Respected” And Touting The Fact That Was “Confirmed By A 93-1 Vote.”“Throughout his long career in law enforcement, the independence of FBI chief James Comey has rarely been questioned. Comey is a well-respected Republican who served as George W. Bush’s Deputy Attorney General. And when President Obama tapped him to serve as Director of the FBI, he was confirmed by a 93-1 vote.” (“GOP Follows Conspiracy-Theorist-in-Chief Donald Trump Into Another Taxpayer-Funded Sham Inquiry,” Hillary For America, 7/7/16)

In July 2016, Brian Fallon Touted Comey’s Neutrality In His FBI Investigation, Citing His Previous Role As “Deputy Counsel On Senate Whitewater Committee That Investigated The Clintons In 90s” “Comey was not just Deputy AG under Bush 43. He was also deputy counsel on Senate Whitewater Committee that investigated the Clintons in 90s” (Brian Fallon, Twitter, 7/7/16)

In June 2016, Brian Fallon Called Trump’s Accusation That A Former FBI Official Was Lying “Pathetic.” “So now @realDonaldTrump is calling the former head of the FBI cyber division a liar? Pathetic.” (Brian Fallon, Twitter, 6/15/16)

On July, 12 2016, Clinton’s Campaign Released A Statement Slamming Republicans For Their Decisions To “Second-Guess” FBI Director Comey In The House Government Reform Committee. “Last Thursday, Republicans hauled FBI Director James Comey before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to second-guess his decision that ‘no reasonable prosecutor’ would pursue a case over Clinton’s emails. But the hearing backfired on Republicans, who ended up eliciting fresh comments from Comey that were helpful to Clinton.” (“Here We Go Again: After Comey Hearing Backfires, GOP Launches Another Partisan Witch-hunt Against Justice Department’s Email Inquiry,” Hillary For America, 7/12/16)

In July 2016, The Clinton Campaign Put Out A Statement On The FBI Director Appearing In Front Of The House Committee Saying He “Shut The Door On Any Remaining Conspiracy Theories Once And For All.” “The Director’s explanations shut the door on any remaining conspiracy theories once and for all. While Republicans may try to keep this issue alive, this hearing proved those efforts will only backfire.” (Hillary for America Statement on FBI Director Comey’s Testimony Before House Committee,” Hillary For America, 7/7/16)

In July 2016 Donna Brazile Tweeted That Republicans Are “Damaging Rule Of Law By Attacking FBI Director Comey.” “Wash. Post Editorial Board: Republicans Are Damaging Rule Of Law By Attacking FBI Director Comey” (Donna Brazile, Twitter Feed, 7/7/16)

In July 2016 Donna Brazile Tweeted That It Is Simply Pathetic To Watch Members Of Congress Grill Director Comey Because He’s Not Playing Their Game Of Gotcha.” “Pathetic. Simply pathetic to watch members of Congress grill Director Comey because he’s not playing their game of gotcha. #Overreach” (Donna Brazile, Twitter Feed, 7/7/16)

In September 2015, Brian Fallon Said It Is “Shameless” To Try “To Bully The FBI Into Serving… Partisan Interests.” “Grassley now resorting to trying to bully the FBI into serving his partisan interests. Shameless.” (Brian Fallon, Twitter, 9/15/15)

In July 2013 The DNC Congratulated James Comey On His Confirmation As FBI Director. “Congratulations to James Comey on his confirmation as FBI Director.” (Democratic Party, Twitter Feed, 7/30/13)

They loved him:

There was also a time democrats loved a last minute surprise:

Whispers of “payback” are being directed at Hillary Clinton after she decried as “unprecedented” the surprise FBI revival of its probe of her email scandal.

That’s because 24 years ago, as former President George H.W. Bush was surging back against challenger Bill Clinton, a special prosecutor raised new charges against Bush in the Iran-Contra probe, prompting Clinton to claim he was running against a “culture of corruption.”

There was a time Donna Brazile loved Comey and anyone questioning him was damaging the rule of law

But, sadly, no longer.

You cannot plumb the depths of their hypocrisy.

Huma Abedin swore under oath that she’d turned over all the emails and devices and swore she did not retain any of them.

But the new information that the FBI found State Department-related email on her home laptop also calls into question whether Abedin in fact turned over all of the devices she used to send and receive email while working at State. For her part, Abedin reportedly told the FBI she didn’t know her emails were on the laptop.

On June 28, 2016, Abedin said under oath in a sworn deposition that she looked for all devices that she thought contained government work on them so the records could be given to the State Department. (These records were subsequently reviewed by the FBI.)

“How did you go about searching for what records you may have in your possession to be returned to the State Department?” Attorney Ramona Cotca for Judicial Watch asked her.

“I looked for all the devices that may have any of my State Department work on it and returned returned gave them to my attorneys for them to review for all relevant documents. And gave them devices and paper,” Abedin answered.

650,000 emails are found on the computer she shared with Weiner and her explanation? She doesn’t know how it happened.

Longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin has told colleagues she was taken aback when she learned that the FBI found her emails on a laptop belonging to her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner, and doesn’t know how the messages got there, a source familiar with Abedin’s account told POLITICO on Sunday.

Word that Abedin claims to be unaware of the cache of messages came as a U.S. official revealed that the FBI obtained a warrant to examine the emails in greater detail.

Comey’s announcement is unusual, but everything about this election is unusual and that made me enjoy watching the irrepressible Trey Gowdy this morning

What would motivate Comey to make the announcement now? Most likely, the imminent disintegration of the FBI were he not to act:

James Comey’s decision to revive the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email server and her handling of classified material came after he could no longer resist mounting pressure by mutinous agents in the FBI, including some of his top deputies, according to a source close to the embattled FBI director.

‘The atmosphere at the FBI has been toxic ever since Jim announced last July that he wouldn’t recommend an indictment against Hillary,’ said the source, a close friend who has known Comey for nearly two decades, shares family outings with him, and accompanies him to Catholic mass every week.

‘Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,’ said the source. ‘They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.’

Comey totally bungled the clinton email investigation. Watching his press conference in July, I and others were left feeling that it was like a football game. Comey took the ball down the field and had first and goal- and then punted. It was ridiculous. Comey let the criminals dictate the rules of the investigation. And the obama DOJ was stymieing all investigations into anything clinton all along the way.

The bottom line? Don’t blame Comey now for trying to make up for his utter failure in July. It wasn’t Comey who lied under oath about retaining emails- it was Abedin. It wasn’t Comey who was sexting underage girls- it was Abedin’s husband. It wasn’t Comey’s fault Abedin married him. It wasn’t Comey who chose Abedin to be the body woman- it was hillary. I don’t know what’s on those emails, but if any of them contain classified information, it cannot sanely be viewed as anything other than mishandling. And that’s in addition to perjury.

So stick a sock in it.

mrs clinton, that nasty woman has done irreparable damage to American justice let alone the trustworthiness we should have of elected officials. It appears now the media is going to experience even more trust lost should they not stop promoting that nasty woman, mrs clinton.

It also appears the chickens have come home to roost for that nasty woman, mrs clinton.

Despite those dog-loyal liberals who have pretended to believe all accusations against Hillary are always just made up attempts to be mean to a dedicated, self-less public servant. Yet, the reality has been that almost whatever you could contemplate to accuse her of, eventually validation is uncovered that proves the sliminess of the Clinton campaign.

Yet, Democrats still want to claim “conspiracy”. When facts proving what has been accused come out, the left wants to whine about the source or how the truth was discovered.

You don’t have a clue what’s in the emails. You don’t even know that they’re not duplicates of the same emails reviewed previously. But the truth, of course, is that you don’t care. It’s actually far more useful to the Trump campaign that people not know what’s in them.

Understanding that should reveal something, but it won’t reveal a thing to anyone who doesn’t understand already.

Obama has just thrown Hillary under the bus.

You see Greg, when the ship starts sinking, its every rat for themselves.

Disturber

@Greg: The issue dummy is they lied to the FBI. That is a felony. They are felons. HRC has lost her qualifications for president of the US. Do you remember what the Dems did to Scooter Libby

Dont forget slick willy also lied under oath and if bills a liar so is hillary the demac-RATS are also all a bunch of liars

It’s hilarious watching folks like Greg whine. Were the shoe on the other foot he’d be cackling with glee that someone was found to have lied under oath, and getting all pious about the rule of law, etc.

Republicans, on the other hand, haven’t changed their view of Comey–they think he’s a hack who was pushed to do this just to cover his ass.

We’ll see how hilarious you find the morning of November 9th. I’m just now back from doing the one thing that actually counts. I voted.

@Disturber, #4:

The White House expressed its support of Comey’s integrity. That isn’t throwing anybody under the bus. The right doesn’t seem to be capable of understanding that integrity isn’t defined by whether the consequences of it weigh in the balance for or against you.

The timing of Comey’s release was very bad, owing to the proximity of the election. He shouldn’t have made such an announcement so close to Election Day, when there would be no time to figure out the actual significance of the emails, if any. That said, I don’t question his integrity. He did what he thought was required and necessary, most likely ignoring the consequences and the fallout. He undoubtedly knew he would be strongly criticized, but he did it anyway. He’s a good man.

You’re not honest enough to acknowledge that it’s Trump and the right that have just done a 180-degree reversal in their opinion of him. Obama has remained consistent.

Rolling Stone sums the situation up this way: How the Hillary Clinton Outrage Cycle Took Over the Media It’s pretty much on target. My chief worry at this point is that Hillary Clinton’s election may precipitate a psychotic episode on the right even more pronounced that what followed the election of Barack Obama.

@Greg: Your comments are absolutely ignorant when you ignore reality.

@Randy:

They have to be, he is a leftist…

Now this Greg:

Breaking – Trump Up 2 pts in New Hampshire 44.6 to 42.9!

You didn’t hear a peep from the democrats when comey back in July said there was no reason to indict hil-liary. Hypocrites.

A lot of people never really listen to what Trump has been saying. The taxes of the rich are too high. The taxes on corporations are too high. And the wages of workers are too high. So, which category are you in?

What you need to do is work hard and become part of that upper strata. And vote for Trump, because Clinton is a criminal mastermind, and the emails are “bigger than Watergate.”

@Greg:

You don’t have a clue what’s in the emails.

We have quite a good clue. If there was not something there incriminating and significant, Comey would never have put a noose around his neck and pulled a stunt like this. No, for him to go out on this limb he would have to have a solid foundation for such action and that foundation is, almost certainly, emails and information that should not be on a pedophile’s computer. Scans of metadata has revealed State Department emails.

The timing of Comey’s release was very bad, owing to the proximity of the election.

That is Hillary’s fault. Even the hacked emails of her inner circle shows the people around her wanted the scandal to be fully revealed long ago, with enough time to repair the damage. But they all feared Hillary too much to give her wise counsel. How would that work at in a Presidency?

A lot of people never really listen to what Trump has been saying. The taxes of the rich are too high. The taxes on corporations are too high. And the wages of workers are too high.

You can listen all you want and you won’t hear him say any of that.

@Randy: It’s also a problem that the culture of Hillary’s State Department made it acceptable to store State Department information anywhere they think it is convenient. One report has that the State emails were in a folder labeled “Life Insurance”. Life insurance, indeed. In any other context, it would sound fantastic.

@Greg: Comey was under a legal obligation to inform Congress that his prior testimony, where he said that there was no reason to reopen the inquiry into the server, was no longer accurate. All he said was that there were additional emails and that the inquiry should be reopened. He did not say what was in the emails because he could not possibly know.

@Bill… Deplorable Me:

We have quite a good clue. If there was not something there incriminating and significant, Comey would never have put a noose around his neck and pulled a stunt like this.

You have no clue.

Comey was notifying heads of the investigative committee that a statement made previously to the effect that all material had been examined was inaccurate. It has come to his attention that there may be additional relevant material.

The reason he should have refrained until after the election was because republicans could be counted on to publicly misrepresent what that notification meant—which is precisely what they have done. The letter he sent clearly states that the new material may be of no real significance.

You can listen all you want and you won’t hear him say any of that.

Listen to the video clip I linked. If you don’t hear him saying wages are too high, you might want to take Beltone up on one of their free hearing tests.

@Greg: Again Greg, you have no idea how a successful economy works. You pay corporate taxes. Are you rich? If you had a clue about the issues you are addressing, you would understand what trump is saying and how it would work. Instead of saying something about Trump, you are showing how ignorant you are of real world topics.

Trump throws out an endless stream repetitive right wing propaganda points and economic platitudes, loosely knit together with a lot of angry references to the media events of the moment. He’s actually not saying anything substantive at all. Reduced to print, his rally speeches verge on babble. I’m guessing a majority of his supporters couldn’t explain specifically what he intends to do, or how he claims he’s going to go about doing it. So, go ahead and tell me about my ignorance. That doesn’t change the fact that I know a load of nonsensical b.s. when I hear it.

@Greg: You are right Greg, we are all a stupid bunch of dunderheads. But we have pitchforks!!

@Greg:

The right doesn’t seem to be capable of understanding that integrity isn’t defined by whether the consequences of it weigh in the balance for or against you.

Historically, it has been the left that has used nothing but ideology to judge people and their integrity. Women, minorities, religious, gays… all are either good or absolute worthless trash (or, irredeemably deplorable, if you will) depending solely on the level of support they have for liberalism. Trump himself was never accused of racism until he opposed liberals in an electoral contest.

Tell me, why are emails with classified information on them even an issue? Did Comey distribute them? Did Trump? Did the Republicans?

Did Hillary?

There’s a reason and valid explanation for the speculation; Hillary NEVER fails to substantiate the speculation. Never. What’s more, the absolute and complete disrespect the Clinton’s have for laws and integrity allows them to do things like meet with the Attorney General when numerous investigations into their criminal enterprises are either underway or pending.

In other words, no one trusts the Clinton’s because THEY have PROVEN themselves untrustworthy… as in not worthy of anyone trusting them.

This is ALL of their own making. Not a right-wing conspiracy, not a witch hunt, not political rhetoric, but Hillary’s actions is driving this. The idea she would be a viable candidate is laughable. The thought anyone thinking independently would actually vote for her is disturbing.

UPDATE

Team Clinton was concerned with their Weiner messing with underage girls in 2011

In NY the ”age of consent” is 17 and THIS particular girl was 17.
But point taken.
If he was gong after 17 year olds, who knows how much younger he was willing to try for?
The real problem here is that HUMA knew, HILLARY knew and Podesta as well as Palmeri, Tanden, Soellner, Fang and Dorner all knew.
Yet Huma, who was married to him in 2010, still shared her computer access with him?
Huma who was Deputy Chief of Staff to Sec State Hillary from 2009 to 2013.
She, and all those around her should have known better.
Both Hillary and Huma are married to men who aggressively seek out anonymous women.
Both of their husbands are sexual predators; and what is more disturbing is that both of these women know their husbands are sexual predators and did not divorce them.
Hillary touts herself as being very sensitive to the needs of women, of being the first woman candidate for President, as someone who will bring an enlightened awareness of women’s’ issues to the White House.
Yet she is most comfortable with an aide that also has a husband who is a sexual predator.
Hillary’s approach toward women is not enlightened, it is darkened.
Interesting toss under the bus of Huma.
She went from Hillary’s closest, most elevated confidant to ”just another one of my staffers.”
Heh.

@Greg: Really Greggie?? Checked the polls and tell me this doesn’t make a difference!! Beast mode is using a porn star while Trump talks policy!!

@Greg: I nullified your vote Greggie!!

@Common Sense:

” I nullified your vote Greggie!!”

Hopefully, there won’t be enough hate infested, cop ambushing, church burning, rabid racist to keep up that pace.
