Hillary said …

Freedom of Conscience

  • She told a women’s conference that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” in order to expand abortion and contraception.  USA Today  As President, she would shred First Amendment rights to religious liberty and freedom of conscience, which the Supreme Court recently reaffirmed in the Hobby Lobby case. If Hillary had her way, even nuns would be forced to provide abortion and contraception.  Deseret News

Free Speech

  • She championed UN Human Rights Resolution 16/18 which places curbs on free speech in the name of religious tolerance.  The Resolution’s “incitement to violence” standard is key.  It reads OK to the untrained eye, but is defined in another UN document more broadly as including any advocacy of mere ‘hostility’ or ‘discrimination’. This more sweeping definition is a direct assault on free speech rights.  Moreover, the overall construct gives a heckler’s veto – speech is prohibited and punishable if anyone, anywhere reacts to it for any reason with violence – something over which, obviously, the speaker has no control.  Phony, staged Muslim “Days of Rage” are a known phenomenon that would kill free speech under this standard.  Bottom line: Resolution 16/18 is completely incompatible with U.S. free speech rights, but Clinton has been out front on it.  See The Blaze

Executive Overreach

  • She said she would take executive action to extend the reach of laws that Congress specifically wrote for gun stores to gun shows and online sellers. Bloomberg  “The Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment,” she has unilaterally proclaimed.  American Military News
  • “I have said that if we cannot get comprehensive immigration reform …, then I will go as far as I can, even beyond President Obama….” RealClear Politics
  • She pushed the Obama administration to initiate the Libyan war without congressional approval or authorization.  The Federalist

Authoritarian to her Fingertips

  • “We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”  Townhall
  • “No. We just can’t trust the American people to make those types of choices…. Government has to make those choices for people.”  Townhall
  • Hillarycare (her secretive 1993 proposal to nationalize all of healthcare)
    • written behind closed doors without public input or debate
    • even her aides were leery of how far she wanted to go. One wrote in an internal memorandum: “I have trouble coming up with a precedent in our peacetime history for such broad and centralized control over a sector of the economy….” Judicial Watch
    • When questioned on the impracticality of having business pay for the cost of her plan: “I can’t be responsible for every undercapitalized small business in America.”American Spectator  LET THEM EAT CAKE!
    • Final two provisions:  Hillarycare would have made it a crime punishable by imprisonment to see a doctor outside your assigned collective and another crime for your doctor to agree to see you under such circumstances.  CATO Institute

On the Freedom of Conscience segment, Utah Senator Orrin Hatch is quoted in Mormon owned/controlled Deseret News.
Sen. Hatch is the ONLY elected Utah official to continue to support Trump after Trump’s old bus audio came out.

As a result I will be voting for a transgender Democrat who is running in opposition to Mike Lee.
Probably not a snowball’s chance in hell he can win, but Misty Snow has our votes.

Mia Love is also not getting our votes.
She not only refuses to support Trump she even refused to go to the RNC convention and cast her vote as she was voted in to do!
That, and the first thing she did in Washington DC was join the Congressional Black Caucus.
She doesn’t even pretend to support her non-Mormon constituency.

Utah polls over 70% for Trump and about 12% for Hillary.
The Dem she replaced actually caucused with Republicans.
That’s how conservative Utah’s Dems are.

no religious freedom? so if I decide to become a muslim I can’t have 4 wives
    SO UNFAIR !!
Healthcare? A strong majority of Americans want a federally funded healthcare program

58% favor replacing the ACA with federally funded healthcare system
About half would also be OK with keeping the ACA as is
Separate question shows that just over half would favor repealing the ACA
PRINCETON, N.J. — Presented with three separate scenarios for the future of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), 58% of U.S. adults favor the idea of replacing the law with a federally funded healthcare system that provides insurance for all Americans. At the same time, Americans are split on the idea of maintaining the ACA as it is, with 48% in favor and 49% opposed. The slight majority, 51%, favor repealing the act.

The days of fear mongering healthcare are OVER
People have waited years for those “death panels”
How many posters here are NOT covered by a Federal healthcare program

One of the emails in today’s Wikileak dump talks about the need to produce “an unaware and compliant citizenry”. This should send chills down the spine of every FREEDOM loving American. This combined with the other leaks from today showing collaboration between the MSM and State Department with her campaign reeks of what you’d expect to find with would-be dictators. The media will bury it because they are implicated as co-conspirators.

@Richard Wheeler: Sticking up for her yet again. Glad to see you think the government should keep its people “unaware and compliant”. I could have sworn we fought to free people from those types of people overseas. I guess you and I have a fundamental difference of opinion on type of country we should live in. I want to be a citizen. You want to be a subject. We as country can’t exist as one with two such radically different views.

@john: I am an opt out and Trump should talk of the theft of tax refunds from poor minimum wage workers, that work 2 or 3 part time jobs, because they cant afford obama care or simply dont want it. It is better for me to pay the fine, than become a burden to society with a subsidized very high deductible low coverage plan. No I do not want a national health plan thats what our vets have, everything the government touches it screws up.
The government intentionally set up monopolies for health insurance I had a choice of 1 insurance company for my county, thats 0 competition. Doctors hate it and medicare, Doctors should make more than minimum wage.

@Richard Wheeler: You obviously feel we would be better off with Hillary. On this post you have endorsed a campaign that believes the people should be kept unaware and compliant. Sounds like serfdom, Communism, or whatever else you want to call it. On the other thread you mocked people at the debate (who weren’t FAers) for cheering about Hillary going to jail. In other words, you believe she is above the law. So much for rule of law. You have yet to criticize her on open borders which means a whole bunch of problems (look at Europe) and the end of our national sovereignty. Put it all together and you favor an elitist ruling class whereby the rest of us, especially people with views other than left wing, are to be subservient.

I have been vocal about my criticisms of Trump and have offered specifics and also stated that the downward spiral this country is in thanks to the neo-Marxism and “cultural revolution” of the last seven years is probably irreversible no matter the outcome in November although it will definitely be accelerated under her. You have not done the same with her. You offer her your support through your silence. Merely saying you won’t vote for her means nothing because your actions say otherwise. Until you start to back your words up by criticizing her on the issues and until you start hammering her few supporters here, we can assume that you are in lockstep with her and will therefore vote for her and continue to look down on her non-supporters as being a lower class of people.

RE: “Get to know the Constitution.”
Which one? The one the governed the country effectively for more than 200 years, or the new one being written now? The problem with a “living” constitution is that liberals are killing it.

The New Constitution: All people are equal, but some are more equal than others.

    July 4th American

Hillary Clinton told Goldman Sachs executives that Americans who want to limit immigration are “fundamentally un-American,” according to the leaked transcript of her private October 2013 speech made public by WikiLeaks.

Clinton’s statement is significant because it suggests that, according to polling data, Clinton views an overwhelming majority of the American electorate to be “fundamentally un-American.” According to data from Pew Research Center, 83% of the American electorate would like to see immigration levels frozen or reduced.

Clinton’s declaration describing those who want to limit immigration as “unAmerican” came in the context of her urging action on “immigration reform.”

“Immigration reform is so important,” Clinton told the Wall Street executives, as she demanded that Congress “get immigration reform done.”

By “immigration reform,” Clinton was referring to the 2013 Rubio-Schumer proposal, which she supported and which would have granted immediate amnesty and eventual citizenship to millions of illegal aliens, would have doubled the annual admission of foreign workers, and would have dispensed 33 million green cards to foreign nationals in the span of a single decade despite current record immigration levels.

Clinton went on to suggest that those who oppose such dramatic expansions to immigration are “fundamentally un-American”:
