During the VP debate the over-caffeinated Tim Kaine went to town on Donald Trump’s taxes:

“How do you know that?” Kaine shot back again, later adding that Trump promised he’d release his returns earlier in the campaign and then mentioning Trump’s comment from the first debate that not paying federal taxes “makes me smart.”

“Is it smart not to be [paying] for our military, for veterans, for teachers?” he continued, later adding, “I guess all of us who do pay for those things, I guess we’re stupid.”

Kaine went so low as to suggest that Trump had a part in causing the 9-11 attacks.

Governor Pence just said — Governor Pence just said that Donald Trump will rebuild the military. No, he won’t. Donald Trump is avoiding paying taxes. The New York Times story — and we need to get this — but the New York Times suggested that he probably didn’t pay taxes for about 18 years starting in 1995. Those years included the years of 9/11.

So get this. On 9/11, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump’s hometown was attacked by the worst terrorist attack in the history of the United States. Young men and women — young men and women signed up to serve in the military to fight terrorism. Hillary Clinton went to Washington to get funds to rebuild her city and protect first responders, but Donald Trump was fighting a very different fight. It was a fight to avoid paying taxes so that he wouldn’t support the fight against terror.

It was pretty unseemly. The feckless Quijano could not be bothered to ask Kaine if he took any tax deductions for his 2001 return.

Quijano then went completely off the rails:

Elaine: The New York Times released part of Mr. Trump’s 1995 tax returns and reported he could have avoided paying several income taxes for years. Mr. Trump said he brilliantly used the laws to pay as little ties as legally possible. Does that seem fair to you?

Fair? Is it fair to use the laws legally and as written? What kind of imbecilic question is that? Is it fair that Donald Trump be able to speak freely? Is it fair that Trump have a right to an attorney? Is it fair that Trump is entitled to due process?

Hillary Clinton also pounded Trump

She criticized Mr. Trump’s reluctance to release his tax returns — as every other major recent presidential candidate has done — and mentioned the article in The New York Times revealing his tax records. “While millions of American families, including mine and yours, were working hard and paying their fair share,” Mrs. Clinton said, “it seems he was contributing nothing to our nation.”

for doing exactly the same thing she did. And so did the NY Times. The biggest tax avoider in the world– Apple- is a big Clinton supporter. They keep at least $180 billion offshore to avoid US taxes. What part did they play in the 9-11 attacks? The top 5- US companies keep $1.4 trillion offshore to avoid US taxes. Why aren’t liberals burning their i-phones and i-pads in protest?

Bloomberg takes a cheap shot at Trump:

While Trump said in the first presidential debate that not paying income taxes “makes me smart,” most voters see doing so as unpatriotic. A CNN/ORC poll released Monday found that 86 percent of those surveyed viewed paying taxes as every American’s “civic duty.”

The Clinton News Network conducted a poll designed to smear Trump:

The vast majority of registered voters view paying taxes as a “civic duty,” including 79% of Donald Trump’s supporters, according to a new poll.

Nearly all registered voters surveyed — 86% — say they see paying taxes as every American’s civic duty, while 12% say that they see taxes as an unnecessary burden to be avoided, according to a CNN/ORC poll released Monday.

The actual question? Here:

Which better describes your view of paying taxes:
It is every American’s civic duty to pay their fair share of taxes.
Taxes are an unnecessary burden and Americans should do everything they can to pay as little as possible.

Talk about biased. “Taxes are an unnecessary burden”? That immediately destroyed the credibility of the question. What should have been asked? A couple of things:

1. Do you pay more taxes than you owe?

2. Do you believe you should pay more taxes than you owe?

3. Are you aware that Hillary Clinton did exactly the same as Donald Trump to pay less in taxes?

That would have been truly enlightening and dare I say far more honest.

Then we come to the galactically idiotic Cher. She continues her disparaging diatribe directed at the Trump offspring:

While speaking at the One Young World Summit in Ottawa, Canada, singer and activist Cher not only slammed both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, she also attacked the GOP presidential candidate’s sons — Donald Trump, Jr., and Eric Trump — for posting an online picture of themselves holding a dead leopard they killed during a hunt in Africa.

Referring to the photograph, Cher declared: “I think that when that kind of message is sent from people who are influential, it’s the exact wrong message”…

She has no problem with killing animals for her frequently scanty leather outfits and has no objection to dismembering a baby the day before it’s born but legally hunting animals is a mortal sin in her aged celebrity sodden eyes.

The problem with all of this is that nothing about any of the above activities is illegal. The morality of it is an individual determination. How many times are we lorded over by liberals demanding that conservatives not impose their morals on others while they feel unrestrained in imposing theirs on us?

I really enjoy this video. It captures liberals perfectly.

These sorts of liberal attacks are both dishonest and misguided. If liberals have a problem with the tax laws as they are, then they should seek a legislative remedy for it. Of course, they won’t like the results once their own oxen start getting gored. If Cher doesn’t like hunting for sport, she should take it up with the appropriate governments in Africa and seek change. obama and democrats had two years to change the tax laws in the US. They didn’t do squat about it. One might think liberals would direct their faux umbrage toward those who failed them, but noooo.

Deduction shaming. Hunter shaming. These actions above are the equivalent of fat shaming. Shaming someone for doing nothing illegal is pathetic. Do we single out people on social media who engage in actions with which we disagree and berate and embarrass them incessantly? Do we hound them into seclusion? Is that what we’ve come to? Is that the America you want?

It is the America of hillary clinton. She smears Trump for doing precisely as she did and her idiot sycophants just sit there and drool. Were this a true democracy Hillary would no doubt be calling for a vote to put Donald Trump on trial for these imagined transgressions- Hillary’s version of of those held in Massachusetts in the late 1600’s.

The Chappaqua B*tch Trials.

UPDATE

I forgot- someone needs to ask hillary if she would have done any different than did Trump were she in his position. It;s a rhetorical question since she already did.

As was noted months ago, Trump intends to burn the GOP to the ground.

Donald Trump Declares Himself Freed From Republican Party ‘Shackles’

It’s not like he has something clearly in mind as a replacement. The only thing left to coalesce around will be Trump. It’s a puzzle to democrats how anyone having mainstream conservative principles could be happy with that.

Debate #3: Trump unchained—or unhinged.

@Greg: And Hillary plan to follow Soros’ instructions, open borders, swarm the nation with illegal immigrants and eliminate the Constitution.

As also noted, what helps Hillary and liberals accomplish their goals is a population they can keep ignorant and under control.

We have only to see the liberals that show up on these pages to see how well this has been working.

@Greg: Greggie, you are forgetting Republicans will reject hilldabeast over Trump every time!! You also forget that independents will vote Trump over hilldabeast in large numbers also!!

And Hillary plan to follow Soros’ instructions, open borders, swarm the nation with illegal immigrants and eliminate the Constitution.

Right. And the Apollo 11 moon landing was faked in a movie studio.

I view Donald Trump as the clear and present danger. He’s the guy most likely to tear down long-standing institutions without a clue concerning the results. I view Clinton as continuity. Any transitions are far more likely to be orderly. You don’t, for example, repeal something like the Affordable Care Act outright and plug in a replacement nobody has figured out yet without getting total chaos.

Trump has harnessed dissatisfaction and anger, but he’s been very vague about the details of any changes he would make.

@Greg: Well, Greg, that’s what she said…

DEVASTATING Wikileaks Document Drop: Hillary Clinton Dreams of ‘Open Trade and Open Borders’

Is it just a coincidence that Soros wants the same thing AND gives Hillary millions and millions of dollars? Like all those other bribery coincidences?

Donald Trump Berates Paul Ryan and ‘Disloyal’ Republicans

Maybe what’s needed is a personal loyalty oath.

The very foul mouthed Sen. John McCain begged for my support during his primary (I gave, he won), then dropped me over locker room remarks!

Or maybe what is needed is somebody a lot more like John McCain, and a lot less like Donald Trump.

@Greg: Hillary gives speeches where all cell phones are collected prior to the speech. This, of course, is the liberal idea of “transparency”.

Donald Trump, earlier today:

“Despite winning the second debate in a landslide (every poll), it is hard to do well when Paul Ryan and others give zero support!”

Right. Stabbed in the back by traitors, just when victory was easily in reach. A good narrative. Not original, of course, but it has been known to work. For 5 points, tell us where and when.
