Thoughts on Trump – When Life Gives You Lemons…

While I’ve come to despise Donald Trump, I hope he wins in November…

Donald Trump is a lying, manipulating, protectionist big government Democrat. I’ll still be voting for him, however, because Hillary Clinton is all of that and more. She will keep the welcome mat open for illegal immigrants from all sorts of 3rd world countries in order to create more Democrat voters. Donald Trump at least claims that he will build a wall along the southern border and tighten immigration from places rampant with Islamic terror.

The other critical issue is the Supreme Court. Donald Trump released a list of potential Supreme Court nominees that has pleased many conservatives. He has stated on numerous occasions that he plans on nominating conservatives to the Supreme Court. He may not, but we know for a fact that Hillary Clinton will nominate nothing but hardcore leftists in the vein of Justice Ginsberg and Justice Sotomayor.

Together immigration and the Supreme Court are the two biggest issues on the ballot in November. Between working to turn the US into a lefty paradise of a failed 3rd world country and eviscerating the freedoms contained in the Bill of Rights, I’m not sure the country can survive another four years of the statist Obama agenda. On both issues Donald Trump claims he will do the right thing while Hillary Clinton will do the exact opposite. As a known liar we may indeed be disappointed by Trump, but at least there is a chance he will keep his word and do the right thing. With Clinton there is zero chance.

Of course, one has to wonder if Donald Trump really wants to be President. He’s been running for the job for a year – and on and off numerous times before that – but he doesn’t seem to be interested in winning. Since he secured the nomination almost three months ago, and since the convention one month ago, Trump has focused almost all of his attention on his GOP critics and the media, rather than Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton is possibly the worst candidate the Democrats have ever nominated. Apart from her demonstrated incompetence, her treachery over Benghazi, her lies about her email server, her slush fund known as the Clinton Foundation and the fact that voters seem to barely be able to tolerate her, she’s a superstar. But somehow Donald Trump has figured out how to trail someone who would probably lose to “None of the Above” if that was the only other choice. Although his trip to Louisiana and his recent mea culpa were steps in the right direction, it remains to be seen if those are the beginning of a focused campaign to win or merely a feint in a long term plan to lose.

And of course it’s comical that I get emails every day from the Trump campaign seeking money. I will never send Donald Trump a single dollar. Why? Because he’s the one who brags that he’s worth $10 billion and that he’d be the only guy in the race funding his own campaign. It’s not that I wouldn’t want to help keep Clinton out of the White House, I do, but there’s no chance I would send the Trump Campaign money that they would simply use to attack Ted Cruz or the media or some other pointless ego salving debacle rather than focus on Clinton. The truth is, if I had $10 billion in the bank, I’d be more than happy to spend at least $9 billion of it winning the presidency, because while making lots money is no doubt fun – I imagine – saving the greatest nation in history is truly something exceptional.

Donald Trumps’s basic problem isn’t that he can’t attract moderates… his problem is that much of the conservative base – this writer included – pretty much hate him. While I’ll be voting for him, lots of others, particularly those in the Never Trump camp won’t be. If he can’t get his base out, he loses going away. There are simply not that many union members disaffected enough with the Democrats to make up for tepid support from the base.

My suggestion to Trump, if he wants to reengage conservatives, would be to release a list of his intended cabinet nominees, at least for those appointments conservatives care about. For Secretary of State, John Bolton, for Secretary of Defense, the slightly damaged David Petraeus, Rudy Guiliani for Attorney General… maybe. There are others too, such as perhaps Michelle Rhee for Education Secretary and others focused on streamlining government for positions in the EPA, the Department of Energy and the IRS. The ranks of the American Enterprise Institute, the Mises Institute and the American Center for Law and Justice would be great places to start.

Of course this might not be enough and those people might not accept anyway… but the reality is, Donald Trump has to get conservatives and the Never Trump people to hold their noses and pull the lever for him, otherwise it’s President Clinton all over again. And that really is the point. I’ve pretty much come to despise Donald Trump, half for everything he’s done and half for the stupidity of the GOP establishment for foisting him on us, but as much as I despise him, I love my country more, and while I’m leery of what he might do, I’m downright frightened that the country can’t survive what I know Hillary Clinton will do.

And finally, there is impeachment.  If Clinton were to get in, there is less than zero chance she would be impeached and convicted, regardless of what she might do.  She could literally set fire to the Constitution and she’d have no problem.  Trump however is a different story.  If gets into office and he steps out of line, or the Trump University comes back with a loss, there is a real possibility of impeachment and conviction as both Democrats and many Republicans would be happy to vote for both…

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.  Donald Trump is lemonade.  Hillary Clinton is lemonade laced with strychnine… I’ll take the regular lemonade, please.

The Supreme Court is the brass ring. If Hillary packs it with activist liberals, we could lose our country forever. Enough of this anti-Constitutional, anti-law socialistic regime. No more.

First a question, then a fact.
When was the last date you can find where Donald Trump criticized Ted Cruz BY NAME?

Now, that out of the way, guess who is in the Top Ten of all of California’s donors for the Republican Party since Donald Trump started running?
Answer: the SEIU.
See, in CA there’s a relatively new law that allows dues paying union members to state which political party they wish their dues to support.
More than 1/2 all SEIU dues collected in CA must go to the GOP as a result.
Now, admittedly, that is NOT the law elsewhere.
However, it is a snapshot of how SEIU members, rank and file, lean in this election.

I’ve been following as one ”NeverTrump” after another becomes a person who will vote for Trump.
Seems they are slowly trickling over that red line their pundits painted at National Review all those months ago.
By Election Day who knows that they may all of disappeared.
All but the outspoken pundits who led them and who actually have something to lose should Trump win……
Trump would rather put men and women from business, from the private sector into jobs where deal-making is important than appoint an ex-pundit who only knows how to fill column inches.

Trump is disgusting. Hillary is disgusting. Trump is crazy. Hillary is incompetent. Trump supporters (not those lesser of two evils but the true believers) are angry bitter revenge voters. They are for tearing down, destroying anarchists. Clinton voters are the government knows better, give me, give me, give me crowd. I will support neither but I’m more afraid of the consequences of a Trump victory than a Hillary one. She is incompetent, she will spend her four years being investigated and paranoid about investigations and her health is very iffy. Trump is a liberal IF he really has any core values at all. But his supporters (the true believers) are dangerous. I pray our country survives the next 4 years without unrepairable damage but Trump and his ilk are dangerous (or elderly and fearful).

@Lynn Tercel:

Trump supporters (not those lesser of two evils but the true believers) are angry bitter revenge voters. They are for tearing down, destroying anarchists.

I’m not sure where you derive that from. What has Trump’s supporters angry (or the angry supporting Trump) is the lack of Constitutional authority and lawlessness exercised by the present administration, including Hillary. They are the furthest thing from supporting anarchy.

@Bill: If Trump true believes wanted Constituional authority restored, that would not be Trump. He says stuff like he will use executive orders to go around Congress, he will shut down unfavorable press, etc. The Trump true believer just loves his angry rhetoric. They don’t listen to what what he says because if they did, they would realize he doesn’t hold the same view for a full 24 hours on any one issue but his tone is consistent. Now he’s even telling the Hispanic crowd he didn’t mean it about deportations which is what got him his initial supporters. Look.. I am under no illusion that a Trump true believer will ever be persuaded to change his mind. It’s all emotion, anger and fear. But don’t claim Trump is a Constitutional Conservative. That’s just ridiculous. Trump will cause Hillary to be President. It was so avoidable.

@Lynn Tercel: He says stuff like he will use executive orders to go around Congress, he will shut down unfavorable press,

Sounds like you watched 7.5 years of Obama and thought Trump was president.
The only ”Executive orders” Trump plans on doing involve UNDOING all of Obama’s illegal and/or unwise executive orders and memos.
He can do that simply because none of them ever had force of law, they were regulations pushed by Obama onto his own Administrative branch departments.

As to ”shutting down unfavorable press,” it was Obama who tried to oust Fox News from press pool coverage early in his 1st term.
Had it not been for the circling of the wagons by all the other news organizations (who saw that they could and would be next) he would have succeeded.

And excellent example of how Trump deals with a dishonest press was how he treated a Univision reporter.
At first he silenced the guy.
THEN he invited the guy to ask MANY questions.
As many as he wanted.

Later, when Donald Trump held a news conference, he took ALL questions for as long as the reporters wanted to stay and ask some.
He only quit after they did.

Obama filibusters softball questions then claims he’s given the press enough of his time and leaves.
Hillary won’t even do that!
She just refuses to stand for a press conference at all.

Now, Trump has said he would align slander/libel laws for the press to closer to how they are for everyone.
Freedom of the Press has never meant you could simply lie about someone with immunity from prosecution.
In fact, it USED to mean (when the Founders wrote the Constitution) freedom of the Printing Press from government control.
If you, as a press owner/writer/reporter, abuse your freedom in printing something, you, as a press owner/writer/reporter, should suffer the consequences of that irresponsible action.

@Nanny G:

Don’t confuse those suffering from Trump derangement syndrome with facts. They simply can’t handle them. Starting with the fact that Ted Cruz never had a shadow of a chance of winning a national election, zip, nothing, nadda.

@Justal:
It looks to me like they simply took their BDS and turned it into TDS. Lynn,
Why don’t you turn off the lsm for a couple weeks and actually listen to what Trump has to say. You look to have believed the out of context and whole cloth fabrications the media has been feeding you. You may not realize it, but they do lie.

@Lynn Tercel:

He says stuff like he will use executive orders to go around Congress…
That was obama

he will shut down unfavorable press…
that was Clinton (what trump said was he would change law that allows the press to say stuff like he is a clown, or x is a rapist, without fear of being suied like Gawker, thats not the same as Clinton saying Brietbart has no right to exist]

The Trump true believer just loves his angry rhetoric
True believer is a communist term, not a capitalist term…
[it was used before hoffer, but we forget now that hoffer wrote about it and so hides the back history – “The True Believer: Thoughts On The Nature Of Mass Movements” 1951 by hoffer]

the more true history of it that is not used to flub people like you is about people like Lev Zalmanovich (Zinovyevich) Kopelev: Later, he worked as an editor of radio news broadcasts at a locomotive factory. In 1932, as a correspondent, Kopelev witnessed the NKVD’s forced grain requisitioning and the dekulakization. Later, he described the Holodomor in his memoirs The Education of a True Believer. Robert Conquest’s The Harvest of Sorrow later quoted him directly

holodomar is when stalin decided to starve to death over 8 million poeple in one winter… equivalent to blocking off and starving the nyc urban area all at once.

Kopelev was a true believer BEFORE he saw that, and that was decades before the hoffer book that changes history

They don’t listen to what what he says because if they did, they would realize he doesn’t hold the same view for a full 24 hours on any one issue but his tone is consistent.
Actually thats the point we do listen to what he exactly says, and you listen to what the left lbieral press claims he said, which is often off the mark, lies by omission, and twists intended meanings for those who didnt see it but want to be true believers of the communist class (aka you)

Now he’s even telling the Hispanic crowd he didn’t mean it about deportations which is what got him his initial supporters
No, he is refusing to give the plan of how he will deport so many, which he never said he would do, but which the left is pestering him… to those in the know that actually listen to what he said, the press sounds more like “we let them in, and we let so many in, your nucking futs if you try to do a thing about it”

note that your belief in where trump stands is from the press that is overwhelmingly siding with Clinton and its not the first time that they did this… across the board the press called the reagan carter elections as close when it was a landslide and the second election they did the SAME THING

who is telling you what and why or how can you believe it given how people rail against such press? Note that for the record, ny times got a pulitzer for reporting that holodomar never happened and they refuse tio give it back for lying to the ameircan public about stalin and favoring the soviets!!!!

where ever they could play games with numbers they have
they could not play games in the record number of electoral votes for any candidate in history
but how does that jibe wiht the stuff they could game easily?

March 1980 / Reagan trailed Carter by 15 points in February-March 1980
Reagan won in a 44 state landslide

right up to one month before the election the press was saying reagan would lose, he was like hitler, he was a tv star, and on and on… dont you remember? or are you not old enough to remember? Sen Ted Kennedy went so far as to try to work wiht the soviet KGB to prevent reagan from winning…

the funny thing is that you probably dont notice that any time trumps numbers move in the wrong direction the news reports SHOCKED, then the outcome… why are they SHOCKED? why tell you they are SHOCKED? what does saying that imply?

there is even a whole section on polling about how to create false outcomes in polls that are designed to change voters ideas not actually report what current voters desire!!!

its even funnier if you make a list of liberal sources vs others
the liberal sources all march step collectively with the same lies, same false talking point, same desire for candidate… how is that so if they are not colluding collectively?

here is something you should read!!!
American journalism is collapsing before our eyes

The frenzy to bury Trump is not limited to the Clinton campaign and the Obama White House. They are working hand in hand with what was considered the cream of the nation’s news organizations.

The shameful display of naked partisanship by the elite media is unlike anything seen in modern America.

The largest broadcast networks — CBS, NBC and ABC — and major newspapers like the New York Times and Washington Post have jettisoned all pretense of fair play. Their fierce determination to keep Trump out of the Oval Office has no precedent.

Indeed, no foreign enemy, no terror group, no native criminal gang suffers the daily beating that Trump does. The mad mullahs of Iran, who call America the Great Satan and vow to wipe Israel off the map, are treated gently by comparison.

if he was losing so badly, they would not have to do this at all
they would not have to give up on their fake semblence of balance
they would not be doing it so badly that they were losing their businesses, reputations, and more
would they?

they didnt work half as hard against mccain or romney…
but they were supposed to be more likely to win than trump, so the press should have been on them even harder than trump, but they are not… they are not hard on hillary at all…

and they have scoured trumps whole history for any smidgen of bad and the worst they can come up with is bad hair, small fingers, etc… they HATE clean people… clean people cant be controlled.
and by the way, trumps kids spoke better of him than teddy roosvelts kids
roosvelts kids said he was such a narcisist, that he wanted to be the bride at every wedding and the corpse at every funeral…
[and funny, the daily news put up an op ed that claimed it was unpresidential for trump to allude to his penis size… but he didnt, the press did, and he didnt let it go unanswered… besides, LBJ used to whip his out to pee on the lawn, intimidate others, and brag how large it was!!!!]

The problem is the majority of the American voters have Trump Derangement Syndrome and he will lose. It just didn’t have to be this way. Hillary is so disliked. Just less so than Trump. And yes the press lies. I just don’t buy into the lesser of two evils argument and I find them both repugnant. I will vote for neither so all you Trumpers, that makes your vote more valuable and likewise with the Hillary supporter. Hope Trump does not disappoint you. And I also get it that you will need to blame someone but that someone is Trump. He should have pivoted, been gracious and inclusive but that is not who he is and definitely not who the Trump voter wanted. I don’t defend Hillary, Dems, the Press. But Trump should have know what he was up against. There just are not enough angry white elderly voters to elect him. We will start over in 2020 and hopefully we all will have learned something. It’s about inclusion and persuasion not anger and division.

ok i forgot once i started on Kopelev

you used the term True believer which was a term to label people who wanted socialism as the solution, not capitalism

to wit i would as you to read how to catch a wild pig
and to remember: there is a free piece of cheese in every moustrap

A chemistry professor at a large college had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, ‘Do you know how to catch wild pigs?’ The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke. ‘You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again.

You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat; you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.

Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America. The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. While we continually lose our freedoms — just a little at a time.

@Lynn Tercel:
the problem with you is you think like a brain damaged person who cant read their own stuff and think about what they are saying!!!

The problem is the majority of the American voters have Trump Derangement Syndrome and he will lose.
if a majority have it, and the majority vote, he will win, not lose..
so your contradicting your own point by claiming its a majority
who would this majority lose to, a minority of voters?

It just didn’t have to be this way. Hillary is so disliked. Just less so than Trump. And yes the press lies. I just don’t buy into the lesser of two evils argument and I find them both repugnant.

you dont have to buy in for it to be true… you only have a choice between the two, so there is no argument to buy into… if you vote FOR hillary, you help her win. if you dont vote for any candidate, you do not neutralize a hillary vote, and so you help her win… if you vote for trump, you negate a hillary voter… so you help her lose.
and thats the fact jack… label it what you want, or not, your choices are hillary or trump, and you can get off your high horse and armchair general ideas and you can either stop undermining the only opposition she has, or do what?

He should have pivoted, been gracious and inclusive but that is not who he is and definitely not who the Trump voter wanted
of course not, your point shows that with people like you, you can lie, get points, change your mind (pivot) and do what you want… pivoting is a clevel way of making turning on your supporters sound good..

and stalin pivoted on the trotsky question and sent mercator to pick his brains..
🙂

Trump should have know what he was up against. There just are not enough angry white elderly voters to elect him.
which is why he has the current record of the most electoral votes of any candidate in US history… cause you believe that his base is what the hateful us agianst them liberals assigning all republicans to be dead white men, say it is.

your such an idiot…
by the way, my family is immigrant, my wife has a green card, and i am quite embedded in the immigrant world, which you obviously are not. but the immigrants are not stupid as you are, they understand that to let too many in, is to dilute their own earning power here… while you think that they are racist or nationalist enough to want to have visitors from their families… no, they have that with legal immigration… what they fear is that they cant get raises when there are too many of them… they fear being taxed as they start their businesses so they cant succeed… and on and on.

they are NOT what the press says at all.
meanwhile, the press is telling us Sunni islam is coming over the border with ease… ie. its so bad we cant hide it from the idjits any more…

i guess you forget that pre WWII and post WWII russia took over the whole idea of working with islam as a weapon, and even bragged about it… it was they who helped create the house of saud for ibn, and who insured islam would hold the holy sites… and supplies them with expertise, and with weapons, and with semtec explosives, and more…

your not too bright
in fact, i can pretty much guess your a young person told by socialists that your smarter than the older experienced people who actually came here from such states and know more than you…

Calling me names makes my point. I’m 55, white, female, evangelical, constitutional conservative and a Tea Party sympathizer from Texas ( a very red state with a large illegal population). I do not support the welfare state or big government. I’ve worked hard for over twenty years to elect grassroots constitutional conservatives. I have no use for the Boehners and McConnells of our party. Trump does not represent my values and his temperament is too volitile and erratic. But if it makes you feel better to call me names, go ahead. Trump will lose because he deserves to lose. He is a con artist that spews rhetoric to drum up a crowd of the fearful and angry. I do not believe anything he says he will do. I concede your points about immigration and the welfare state. Tump is just not going to fix them even if he were electable because he doesn’t even understand the issues. He has no core values. The problem is that Hillary deserves to lose too because she is an incompetent, paranoid liar. Hopefully next time we will be more judicious in our choice and we will be able to defeat th Democrats. We start from behind anyway because there are more of them than there are of us so we must pick a candidate that can unite not divide.

@Lynn Tercel:

But his supporters (the true believers) are dangerous. I pray our country survives the next 4 years without unrepairable damage but Trump and his ilk are dangerous (or elderly and fearful).

Fortunately, there doesn’t seem to be enough Klansmen and white supremacist for Trump to pull it off.

Vince, the garbage journalism you offers is offensive. as in the past, your history ends with ccn at 2100hr. and is worthless. just imagine after 1/20/17

Trump’s ignorance of the complexity of most issues, combined with his extreme egotism and proneness to childish, impulsive behavior, add up to serious trouble if he’s given the powers of the presidency.

Unfortunately he knows how to manipulate a reality television audience, which now represents a large segment of the American population, and he’s become the chosen tool of cynical forces behind the GOP willing to place a very dangerous bet in order to win back unilateral control of the country. Their bet is that they could control a President Donald Trump. All campaign evidence suggests otherwise. The guy responds only to audience feedback and his own random impulses.

I think he can be elected. It would be impossible to accomplish that by promoting his qualifying presidential merits to mainstream voters, since most thoughtful and observant people realize he has none. What we’ll see instead is some sort of dramatic Hillary Clinton take-down attempt, involving one or more highly damaging claims made a few weeks or days before Election Day. What I’m halfway expecting is the release of one or more carefully crafted phony emails, mixed in with a last-minute release of hacked genuine emails. These will originate with a source that can be blamed without subsequent domestic political repercussions. The entire situation thus far has been a perfect setup for such a deception.

I’m guessing there are a few people on this forum who would approve of such an effort, if the outcome were to keep Clinton out of the White House. Anti-Clinton efforts have been a decades-long obsession for some people.

Richard Viguerie

“Who you walk with tells me a lot about who you are” is an aphorism that I have long applied as a foolproof test of whether a candidate or elected official is going to govern as a conservative. This might be seen as a Richard Viguerie companion or corollary to another one of my favorite rules of politics – personnel is policy.

When Ronald Reagan was running for President every time I saw him, and I saw him quite a bit, he was surrounded by people I knew from conservative politics: Senator Paul Laxalt, Jeff Bell, Lyn Nofziger, Marty Anderson, Dick Allen, Judge Clark, Ed Meese, etc.

[skip]

On the other hand, when I looked at Mitt Romney, John McCain and Bob Dole, or both Bushes, what I saw were lobbyists, industry insiders, professional political operatives and other “rented strangers” as columnist George F. Will once called those of the professional political class.

So when we look at who Hillary Clinton walks with; Leftwing financier George Soros, Muslim Brotherhood-connected aide Huma Abedin, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards and other radical Leftists we know where she is going to lead the country.

But what of Donald Trump?

[skip]

since he began to the think about running for President, and once he announced, he has walked mostly with people from the right-of-center, from Senator Jeff Sessions, to Jerry Falwell, Jr., to conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly, to his National Co-Chairman Sam Clovis and economic advisors Steve Moore and Larry Kudlow, Trump’s major supporters and many of his inner circle have been from the conservative movement.

Now, the hiring of Kellyanne Conway as campaign manager and Steve Bannon as chief executive of the campaign brought two more movement conservatives into the leadership of Trump’s campaign.

Donald Trump’s recent economic speech, his national security speech and his law and order speech in Wisconsin were full of sound conservative policy prescriptions and were reflective of a strong conservative governing philosophy.

Most importantly, through the ups and downs of his campaign, contrary to the conventional wisdom espoused by the DC political class and the establishment media, Trump has not “moved to the center,” but marched steadily to the right.

With Kellyanne Conway and Steve Bannon at the top of the campaign, Mike Pence as Vice President and Senator Jeff Sessions at Donald Trump’s side, the Trump campaign is shaping up to be the most ideological campaign since Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign against Jimmy Carter.

[skip]

However, conservatives can look at Donald Trump’s campaign and draw more and more assurance that through the application of Viguerie’s Foolproof Test and its corollary Donald Trump is going to govern as a conservative, and that is, in the end, exactly what we conservatives want from this election

@Lynn Tercel: angry white elderly voters, Lynn?

How do you explain the
Women For Trump?
Blacks for Trump?
Hispanics for Trump?
Police (not elderly) for Trump?
Border Patrol (again, not elderly)for Trump?
Gays for Trump?
even ”Twinks” for Trump” (gays under age 25)

The biggest card the Left has is the ”racism” card.
But Hillary cannot win without a portion, bigger the better, of the white male vote.
She, and all her surrogates, are making all white people into ”racists” in the hopes that they will – what? – vote for her out of ”white guilt?”
You won’t vote for either.
OK, then.
That’s your right.
BTW, who are you voting for?

Trump speaks today at around 7:00 PM ET.
The link is here:
http://rsbn.tv/watch-donald-trump-rally-in-akron-oh-live-stream/
I’ll be watching.
If you do, use examples of your points from within his speech or shut up.
To borrow a fun phrase from Hillary about candidates and their words and actions, everything older than last week is OLD NEWS……MOVE ON.

Donald Trump Only Offends Soft Ignorant Black People
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFYCYBY_aHA

interesting to hear all around

Donald Trump Asks Black Voters “What The Hell Do You Have To Lose?” REACTION From A Black Guy

“he will shut down unfavorable press…”

In some respects, I can almost hear Trump mumbling come December:

“The worn out tape of Chris LeDoux, lonely women and Fox News, seem to be the only friends I’ve left at all. And the white line’s getting colder….”

But then again, he’s building up a pretty good alt-right/white naturalism coalition. Maybe he’s going for some scrap Apprentice and hello move over Rush?

@Nanny G: I’ve watched Trump and he says many or most things I agree with, but from experience, I know he will contradict them tomorrow or the next day or maybe 30 mins later because he unlike his supporters has no core values. He is a showman, an entertainer, a narcissist who craves a cheering crowd. I’m just not going to give him the opportunity to play me for a fool or worse the opportunity to cause some global political crisis because of his mental issues. I don’t believe he would risk any personal/political capital to fight for conservative judges or issues. He doesn’t believe in them. He believes in Trump the brand. The best I can hope for is Hillary is impeached or her health causes her to step aside. I’ll vote my conscience and you vote yours. We will never agree about Trump. You take him at his word or at least some of his words. I don’t. Hopefully in 4 years we will all make a choice we can come to support.

@Lynn Tercel: Lynn Concur re DT.
Trump is simply about Trump—I’ve watched him for 40 years–he’s a narcissistic showman and a truly divisive force-Like you are doing, I’ll vote my conscience–Humane Party Clifton Roberts. Beliece 3rd Party vote WILL approach 15%–by far the largest since Perot.

@Ajay42302:

Fortunately, there doesn’t seem to be enough Klansmen and white supremacist for Trump to pull it off.

Of course not… they’re all Democrats.

@Greg: Yeah…

Right…

…Uh huh.

Biased opinion without soul, and without conviction…

…and you can change your rant to be about Obama, and it sounds like all your enemies back in 2008.

Mirror much?

@Lynn Tercel: Lynn, I do respect your fears on Trump, and admit he’s a gamble…one I’m willing to take.

That said, I’ll post quote this again:

“It is not in the nature of politics that the best men should be elected. The best men do not want to govern their fellowmen.”
-George MacDonald

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t care, but Trump is a Patton, a field commander. He’s crazy, yes, but it’s what he does…his whole life. I trust him more than Clinton, as she’s just another ambitious white person from the burbs using minorities to make her rich like the people she envied as a child…at any cost.

I’ll take a true commander over the “I just want to make it to the White House” any day.

@Nathan Blue: Patton–are you serious?
Trump can’t remember which bad foot kept him out of going to V.N.

@Lynn Tercel:
Here’s the problem-I doubt there will be an “election” if the hildebeast gets in so you can fantasize about comebacks that will never happen. If the beast opens the borders and does her universal amnesty as well as packing the courts (not just the SC) with libtards, it will be dimocrats forever and you will sit and sob that you did not support someone who could have changed things because of your TDS.

People also claimed that Obama was going to declare martial law, cancel elections, create a uniformed civilian security force, confiscate everybody’s guns, and other assorted b.s.

@Artfldgr: I scanned the comments and the only attacks on Trump were of the ad hominum variety.
He really breaks it down for his audience.

@Greg:
Oh, there will be “elections”, but only dimocrats will win.

@Greg: Repubs. preparing for loss
Rigged election, dead voters, compromised voting machines, lamestream media.bias, ETC
Trump’s concession speech will be one for the ages. he’ll blame everything and everyone—except himself

Obama Unveils Plan to Further Nationalize Local Police

The Obama administration and its “Task Force on 21st Century Policing” are under fire after unveiling an unconstitutional plot to impose federal “standards” on state and local police forces, which critics say is in effect an underhanded plan to further nationalize and federalize law enforcement. Widely lambasted as “Common Core” for police, the Obama plan outlines dozens of controversial “recommendations” to be foisted on state and local law-enforcement agencies using federal tax dollars as bribes — the same unconstitutional process used to impose the hugely unpopular national “Common Core” standards on states and schools nationwide. Opponents say it is part of a dangerous long-term plan that must be opposed.

The next thing you know, they’ll be trying to teach about evolution in public schools and offering Spanish Language classes.

@Greg:
Greg, why don’t you run over the hildebeast’s campaign quarters and let them know you are a volunteer. Typical libtard behavior-set up a strawman and knock it down. You must be one of those “educated” people who are hildebeast supporters! To my mind, “educated” now means you completed the libtard indoctrination course that is the modern higher education system.

Read the excerpt below, then let us know how you think you know someone who has never gotten good press, and has always been dislilked by the elite and estabishment.. in fact, all you know is what those below have said… and you have to go look far and hard to undo the twisting, false implications and tons of other stuff… which most dont do and so thats why these people in these businesses play them… (how else did obama get elected? the same machine is working agianst trump and for hillary… remember how bad it was? how a band played the “internationale” as introduction music and that wasnt enough?]

Hedge fund billionaires, Wall Street mega-bankers, Hollywood movie moguls, RINOs (Republicans In Name Only), ultra-Left “Progressive” Democrats, and Big Media journalistas have all ganged up on one man. Together with an AstroTurf army of neocon pundits, radical academics, student activists, and street agitators funded by the Big Foundations and Big Government, they have united to stop that one man: Donald J. Trump.

George Soros, David Rockefeller, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, Steven Spielberg, Jeff Bezos, and a bevy of other uber-rich titans have teamed up with National Review, the Weekly Standard, the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, et al., to ensure that “The Donald” never makes it into the White House. Some of these plutocrats — Soros, Buffett, and Spielberg — have taken the full “I’m With Her” Hillary Rodham Clinton loyalty pledge. Many of the anti-Trump “Republican” and “conservative” poseurs, on the other hand, have not formally taken the Hillary plunge, but their implacable “Never Trump” stance amounts to the same thing.

Not since 1964 has the political and financial establishment gone into such full-tilt mode against a presidential candidate. In fact, the establishment elites are shamelessly recycling the same vicious propaganda tactics against Donald Trump that they employed against Republican U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater, then the rising star of the conservative/anti-communist movement.

@Bookdoc, #35:

I resent that the right is attempting to foist a clueless, egocentric, dangerously impulsive reality television host onto the nation as its president. I need no further incentive to point the utter stupidity of this out.

I greatly value education, whether formally acquired or a result of a person’s own independent study. A nation’s rise or decline directly correlates with the educational level of the population. I know adults who haven’t read a book since they finished high school, and quite possibly didn’t even then. That’s not a good attribute in an increasingly competitive world.

Donald Trump is a warning sign that too many Americans are lacking critical thinking capabilities. Those having them see him for what he is. He is completely unsuited to the presidency. He does, however, have audience manipulation skills, and so is viewed by cynical powers behind the GOP as a potential placeholder—a playing piece in a game that they imagine they will be able to manipulate.

I do have a degree gotten back when college actually meant something-you could still flunk out even if you had money! Nowadays, college takes anyone. I have seen way too many college grads that cannot write a decent report or even understand basic math concepts. Yes a nation does correlate to its’ educational system and ours is a total disaster due to both the education union cabal and the dewey indoctrination system that runs it. Your argument might work if colleges and universities actually taught people HOW to think instead of what to think. If you think college (outside of STEM subjects) actually teaches anyone how to think, you are way too far gone to reason with.
I got lucky-my daughter didn’t go to college at all-she said she didn’t want to waste her time. She makes $70k+ with great benefits. How? She went to NNPTC and learned an actual skill free. BTW-NNPTC-Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.

@Greg:

clueless,

Hillary pretends not to know you can have more than one email account on a device. She pretends to think “wiping” the hard drive means with a cloth. She pretends she doesn’t know the difference between classified and unclassified information. Or, does she actually not know, i.e. clueless? Or, does her cluelessness derive from the low opinion she has of the intelligence of the electorate?

egocentric,

Hillary treats those charged with protecting her life like dirt. Plus, she thinks because she is a Clinton, laws don’t apply to her and she is not obligated to follow them.

dangerously impulsive

Setting up a secret, private, unsecured email server against the rules and regulations of the State Department is kind of impulsive AND, as it turns out, dangerous.

reality television host

Hillary could never be a host of a reality show, but she could be the subject of one… like “Cops”.

In a sense you are right: we have two Liberal New York Democrats running for President. I am also voting for Trump for one primary reason: he is a nationalist while Hillary is a globalist. She is the preferred candidate of the corrupt, crony global elites. Look at it this way: see who George Soros wants to win and then vote for the other candidate.

Lynn Tercel

“If Trump true believes wanted Constituional authority restored, that would not be Trump. He says stuff like he will use executive orders to go around Congress, he will shut down unfavorable press, etc. The Trump true believer just loves his angry rhetoric. ”

You are likely the most un-informed person I’ve read on this blog.
